Floyd Mayweather planning UK trip to meet parents of Brit stripper girlfriend Anna Monroe and show them ‘the real Floyd’

BOXER Floyd Mayweather is planning a UK trip to meet the parents of his new girlfriend.
The Sun revealed last week how the parents of Anna Monroe were concerned about her relationship with the legendary fighter.

Now we can reveal the puncher – who was introduced to Anna’s family on Facetime on New Year’s Day – plans to charm them ‘as soon as he’s allowed’.
A source said: “Floyd is serious about Anna. He loves England and as soon as they are allowed to travel again he’d love to come over and meet her family and friends.
“He wants them to see the real Floyd Mayweather – which is a lot different to what many people think.”
The boxing champ, 43 fell for Anna 29, – head stripper at his Las Vegas club Girl Collection last year.

The boxer has been seeing Brit Anna for months and the couple went official with their relationship on New Year’s Day – telling family and friends in the UK the news over FaceTime, according to a friend.
Anna has also posted photos of her and Floyd on holiday posing outside the Acropolis in Athens, Greece.
The pair have also posted pictures of themselves at the exact same locations at the same time in Paris, France; Abu Dhabi, UAE; the Blue Lagoon spa in Iceland; Santorini, Greece and Amsterdam, Holland.
They FaceTimed Anna’s family in England on New Year’s Day to tell them officially about their relationship.

Her family were reportedly concerned about the relationship given the boxer’s track record with women, including his ex Josie Harris who accused him of domestic violence.

The world champion boxer, whose last pro bout was against Conor McGregor in August 2017, served two months behind bars after he was convicted for attacking his ex Josie and the pair split up.
Josie, the mum of Floyd’s three kids, was found dead at the wheel of her car in California on March 9 last year after an accidental drug overdose.
She was writing a tell-all book about the beatings she suffered at his hands, at the time of her death.
Before his relationship with Josie, Mayweather had been convicted of attacking another partner, Melissa Brim, the mother of his daughter Iyanna, who he punched in an argument in a Las Vegas shopping centre in 2001.

He pleaded guilty to two counts of battery against Brim and received a suspended sentence in 2002, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
A year later, he punched two of her female friends in a nightclub and again received a suspended sentence for two counts of battery, the Las Vegas Sun reported.
A family friend said: “Everyone knows Floyd Mayweather beat his other girlfriend up.
“Her dad is worried sick but Floyd just reels them in with money.

“Yeah when they have a child that child will be set up for life but Floyd will eventually get fed up with Anna and hurt her one way or another.”
Despite his history of violence towards women, Mayweather has been linked with many different partners in recent years.
He was engaged to Shantel Jackson, but they split in 2013, with Jackson starting a relationship with rapper Nelly a year later.

Jake Paul hits the pads in training for April 17 boxing return as YouTuber claims ‘it was supposed to be Conor McGregor’

JAKE PAUL has started training for his next fight on April 17 – which he claims was meant to be against Conor McGregor.
The YouTuber announced his third fight one week before McGregor rematched Dustin Poirier at UFC 257

But after the Irishman was stunned and KO’d by Poirier, Paul brutally mocked the UFC superstar.
And in his reaction video online, the internet sensation said he was supposed to be fighting The Notorious.
In a message to the McGregor, he said: “Good morning, I hope you’re up.

“April 17th guys, I’m fighting, it was supposed to be Conor McGregor, but we’ll see what happens. Stay tuned.”
Paul, 2-0 as a professional boxer after his debut in 2020, has tirelessly chased a fight with McGregor, producing several viral callouts.
And he insisted he had £36.5million waiting for the former two-weight UFC champion.
But after Poirier pulled off the upset on Fight Island, Paul – who KO’d ex-NBA player Nate Robinson in November – retracted his offer.

He instead told McGregor he will only put up £7,500 in cash for the fight, as he laughed at the UFC 257 result.
In his YouTube upload, Paul went on to say: “Conor McGregor got paid $5million to fight a bum and he got knocked out by the bum.
“Bro, the memes right now are all over Twitter, it’s trending. He got Nate Robinson’d.
“Conor, dude you got paid $5million to fight a bum you should have taken the Jake Paul fight for 50 million.
“Now, I got ten thousand for you, I got $10,000 for you – cold, hard cash, blue hundreds all cash.
“Or, or, I’ll give you a third of a bitcoin, you choose, you choose Conor McGregor.”

Mike Tyson reveals he ‘crossed the line’ and was ‘really dark’ in pre-fight press conferences because he was ‘insecure’

MIKE TYSON has revealed his ‘insecurities’ led to him ‘crossing the line’ and entering a ‘really dark’ place for his pre-fight press conferences.
Iron Mike earned the nickname of the ‘Baddest Man on the Planet’ – with that reputation also being down to his behaviour before fights as well as in them.

And the 54-year-old, who returned to the ring in November with a draw in an exhibition clash with Roy Jones Jr last year, insisted everything is real until after the final bell.
Speaking on his ‘HotBoxin with Mike Tyson’ podcast, the American said: “I was always crossing the line.
“I remember one time Larry Holmes put his hand out and I didn’t shake his hand.
“I was that kind of guy, I was really dark, because I was insecure.”

The incident with Holmes was not the only time Tyson would go into the zone pre-fight.
He and Lennox Lewis were kept apart to avoid any physical altercation in 2002.
But the former heavyweight champion ignored that and confronted the Brit before a brawl ensued, and later he also got into an altercation with a reporter.
Reflecting on his actions, Tyson said: “I’m a heavy dude sometimes.”

FANCY A PUNT? TODAY’S BEST ODDS BOOSTS FROM THE UK’S LEADING BOOKIES

After a number of controversies away from the ring, the veteran is back in unbelievable shape.
Tyson has opened up in the past on his drinking and drug habits while he fought as one of the most popular boxers on the planet.
And his prime athletic years were lost to addiction and a three-year prison term, started in 1992, for a rape he still fiercely denies.
He even took cocaine and cannabis moments before walking out to fight Lou Savarese in 2000, which he won in just 38 seconds.
His substance abuse then carried on after retiring from the sport in 2005.
But, Tyson revealed to Schaub he stopped drinking and taking cocaine prior to the success of his Hotboxin podcast, launched in early 2019.
The former two-time champion still smokes marijuana and has his own cannabis empire with businessman Rob Hickman.
Tyson revealed before his comeback fight that his wife inspired him to start training again in order to lose weight.
And after putting in the work, it inspired him to lace up the gloves again having previously been approached for a return.

Floyd Mayweather training ‘like he will fight top welterweight’ ahead of Logan Paul bout with Conor McGregor rematch ON

FLOYD MAYWEATHER is training for his exhibition fight with Logan Paul as if he’s getting ready to face one of the ‘top welterweights’ in the world.
The former four-weight world champion will trade leather with the YouTuber next month, although a venue for their February 20 clash has not been announced.

Paul, 25, has yet to taste victory in his professional career, drawing one and losing one his two fights with fellow YouTube star KSI.
But according to WBC lightweight champion Devin Haney, Paul’s record hasn’t prompted the 43-year-old Mayweather to take the fight lightly.
Haney told Sky Sports: “His work ethic is crazy because he is still working. He still gets up at 5 or 6am to go running.
“He is training in the gym. He works like he’s going to fight one of the top welterweights today.”

Mayweather’s clash with Paul has been slammed by boxing purists, who have claimed it’s a farcical fight.
Haney understands the criticisms of the bout but insists it’s a good way for Mayweather to add to his fortune.

How Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul compare ahead of their fight
He said: “I’m a fan of the business part – it’s a great promotional fight and a way for him to earn a lot of money.”

“Competition wise? It is no competition.
“Mayweather, one of the greatest fighters to ever live, against a YouTuber who doesn’t have much experience in boxing.
“It’s a way for him to earn a lot of money and the world will, no matter what we say, tune in to watch.”
Mayweather’s clash with the elder Paul brother will be his first outing since his December 2018 exhibition with Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa.
The retired Mayweather walked right through the then-20-year-old, dropping him three times before his corner threw the towel in.

His last competitive fight took place in August 2017 and saw him lock horns with UFC superstar Conor McGregor, who he registered a tenth-round TKO victory over to stretch his perfect record to 50-0.
But as SunSport revealed last week, the Money man is locked in talks over a blockbuster rematch with The Notorious, who suffered a devastating second-round round TKO loss to Dustin Poirier last weekend.
Mayweather took aim at the UFC’s poster boy shortly after the fight, claiming he doesn’t receive the same flak he gets for being arrogant because of racism.
He wrote Instagram: “I seen this post and my take on it is that the world knows Con Artist McLoser can steal everything from me and be loved but I’m hated. That just lets you all know that racism still exist.

“Just know, that bum will never be me or be on my level. I’m just built different, my mindset is on another planet, my skills are second to none, I’m a natural born winner and yes I talk a lot of trash, but every time I back it up! This is what they hate.
“It’s sad that you can be a poor black kid from the ghetto that has dealt with racism your whole life and work extremely hard to put yourself and your family in a better position, and most of the hate come from my own people.
“Connor cannot even win in his own sport, but talking about coming back to boxing to fight [Manny] Pacquiao.
“Nobody wants to see that, it’s like my leftovers eating leftovers.”

Jake Paul parties on packed yacht in Miami without face mask after withdrawing $50m offer to fight Conor McGregor

JAKE PAUL has been snapped partying on a luxury yacht in Miami – without a face mask.
The YouTuber was spotted off the coast of Miami Beach, Florida on Sunday taking part in what looked like a fun-filled affair.

The boat, which is named Belladonna, was packed with passengers on both decks.
And not a single person on the yacht, including Paul, were seen wearing a mask.
Bikini-clad women could be seen frolicking in the water while other guests chatted closely while holding drinks.
Paul himself showed off his bulked tattooed body as he wore just a pair of blue swimming trunks.

Paul’s decision not to wear a mask as he got up close and personal with so many people should perhaps not come as a huge surprise given the fact he recently called the coronavirus pandemic a ‘hoax.’
He told Daily Beast: “This is the most detrimental thing to our society. COVID cases are at less than 1 per cent, and I think the disease is a hoax.
“It’s time for us to open up. Obviously, it’s a controversial subject, but it’s time for our nation to open up and go back to normal.
“There are people losing jobs, there are small businesses who are going bankrupt, there are millions of people who are unemployed right now, people are turning to alcohol and drugs to cope with everything that’s going on.”

The former Disney star later denied ever claiming Covid-19 is a hoax, a denial which was proven to be a lie after the journalist who conducted the interview released the audio recording of their conversation.
Paul’s partying on the luxury yacht came shortly after he brutally trolled UFC superstar Conor McGregor on social media.
McGregor, 32, suffered a devastating second-round TKO loss to Dustin Poirier in the main event of UFC 257 in Abu Dhabi over the weekend.
Prior to the fight, Paul had been campaigning for a multi-million-pound boxing match with the Irishman, calling him out on social media and claiming to have sent him a £37million ($50million) offer.

Jake Paul mocked Conor McGregor in the immediate aftermath of his UFC 257 defeat to Dustin Poirier

But he rescinded that offer immediately after seeing The Notorious fall at the hands of his old featherweight rival.
He said: “Conor, ay, ay, Conor – I got $10,000 for you cash, cash baby. You had $50million!”
Paul had previously slammed McGregor’s decision to rematch The Diamond, telling Mike Tyson: “I called out Conor McGregor while the whole entire world was watching.
“He’s fighting a guy, Dustin Poirier, who’s 5’9, 155-pounds, who he TKO’d already in one round. He’s fighting him again, why?”

Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury to be finalised ‘within week or two’ in Middle East or Asia as fight contract talks advance

ANTHONY JOSHUA’S heavyweight unification bout with Tyson Fury is edging ever closer, as contract talks advance this week.
Boxing fans around the world have been clamouring for the fight for much of the last 12 months, particularly since Fury’s demolition of Deontay Wilder last February.

And with Olexandr Usyk and the Bronze Bomber seemingly out of the way for now, talks between Bob Arum, Frank Warren and Eddie Hearn are set to ramp up this week.
The Gypsy King’s US co-promoter Arum, 89, explained to talkSPORT: “I talked to Eddie yesterday.
“Eddie, with the Joshua people, will have the first draft of the contract to us on Tuesday.
“And then I will circulate it to Frank [Warren], to Tyson and to the various lawyers.

“We’ll then get back to Eddie with our comments and I really believe that this is pretty much a no-brainer because everybody are professionals and want this to happen.
“So I think shortly we’ll be able to tie this up and then jointly select the site.”
On the process itself, he added: “When we get the draft we’ll have our input and send them back a red line copy.
“They’ll study it and send us back a copy, and within a week or two we’ll have a complete meeting of the minds, I’m very confident.

“And we’ll get a document that both parties can sign.”
As for the location, hopes were raised that the ‘Battle of Britain’ unification bout would take place on home soil.
But given the current uncertainty in the UK, those plans have been scuppered.
Arum continued: “The appropriate place would’ve been the United Kingdom.
“But with the restrictions and uncertainty, we’re looking for a site someplace else – be it the Mid-East or Asia.
“And I’m sure that once we get this document signed, we’ll jointly be able to select the site and get it announced.”

Mike Tyson and Frank Bruno reunite to celebrate iconic rivalry after two brutal fights

MIKE TYSON welcomed Frank Bruno into his home with open arms, instead of clenched fists, to celebrate their reunion 31 years on from their undisputed heavyweight world title battle.
In February 1989, with Iron Mike perhaps at his terrifying peak after recently demolishing an aging but all-time great Larry Holmes and Michael Spinks, Bruno went to Las Vegas for his second crack at gold.

Mike Tyson and Frank Bruno boxed twice with the American former monster winning both world title clashes but remain friends

The build-up was ferocious, the fight was even delayed after Tyson battered former opponent Mitch Green in a street brawl, slashing a gash into his eye and breaking his own hand.
The Sky Original documentary that brought the two fighting icons back together captures how vastly different each Adonis was depicted leading up to the clash.
On the mouth-watering press tour, Tyson said he could not imagine Bruno even being a prize fighter because he was such a “sweet and docile guy”.
While Tyson was billed as ‘an animal’ a warped human being who took immense pleasure from inflicting pain.

The childhood bullying victim lisped little more than threats now he was a fearsome man whose fanbase seemed to grow in tandem with his rap sheet.
Bruno, in stark contrast, was the 6ft 3in powerhouse still struggling to convince hardcore fight fans – who doubted his courage and chin could match his bodybuilder muscles – that he was the real deal.
The Englishman’s adoring family, including daughter Rachel, did not want their hero to leave them for the fight and she had good reason to be cautious.
The gentle-giant Londoner was battered into the canvas from Tyson’s first trademark attack but bravely beat the count.

FANCY A PUNT? TODAY’S BEST ODDS BOOSTS FROM THE UK’S LEADING BOOKIES

And he even wobbed the 22-year-old Brooklyn monster, for the first time in his career, with a peach of a left hook.
At the end of the third, Tyson clumped Bruno after the bell but in typical fashion the Brit was a gentleman and did not retaliate or make a fuss.
Bruno was brutalised in the hard-to-watch fifth but refused to return to the canvas. But the proud nation was relieved when referee Richard Steele dived in to save him from any more punishment.
Tyson, though, did not revel in his one-sided victory. Even with his new and toxic entourage clambering for his attention, the Baddest Man on the Planet walked back across the ring to embrace Bruno in a hug that marked the start of the sort of friendship only boxing can create.
Seven years later, with enough water under the bridge to drench the desert, the pair crossed swords again.
Bruno had finally been crowned WBC champion six months earlier, at the fourth time of asking, by beating Oliver McCall in a tear-soaked night at Wembley.
Tyson had lost four prime years of his career to a rape conviction and saw a ripe and vulnerable 34-year-old Bruno as easy prey for the green and gold belt.
Back in Sin City, Bruno’s left eyelid was slashed open in the opening round and his jaw and brain reminded brutally of Tyson’s ferocity.

The housewives’ favourite was rescued by ref Miles Lane in the third and, having suffered eye a torn retina, he retired with his name etched into the history books forever.
Both men went on to suffer mental health breakdowns and addictions and seemed destined to live out the remainder of their lives unhappily.
But in 2021 they are both in superb shape, so much so that 54-year-old Tyson just boxed Roy Jones Jr in a pay-per-view smash hit.
It was in December when Sky managed to get Bruno on a Covid-compliant trip to the US to break bread, instead of bones, with his old foe.
At the time, the national treasure could not hide his boyish excitement, telling his Facebook friends: “I am delighted to say after almost 9 months waiting we have filmed the Sky film special of Mike Tyson & myself.
“I went to the USA last week and yes we were all tested a number of times!”
The documentary airs in February, SunSport has an exclusive look at the trailer today, and it looks like a heartwarming tale of two brutally broken men rebuilding themselves and finally finding peace again.
When the pair first reunite, Bruno’s unmistakable giggle cracks the ice and Tyson smashes it by whispering “I’m here for you, baby, I’m here for you.”
Bruno v Tyson is available on Sky Documentaries and NOW TV from Friday 26th February at 21:00. The exclusive trailer was made available by Sky as part of announcing a record line-up of new and exclusive original TV shows and films for 2021 and 2022.

Ryan Garcia, 22, announces he will fight Manny Pacquiao, 42, in huge blow to Conor McGregor after UFC 257 loss

BOXING sensation Ryan Garcia has announced a blockbuster fight with WBA welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao.
Preliminary talks over the shock bout began last weekend in the wake of Conor McGregor’s stunning defeat at UFC 257.

Ryan Garcia poses for a picture with Manny PacquiaoCredit: Instagram @mannypacquiao

And Garcia, 22, confirmed the match-up on Instagram in the early hours of Monday morning.
Alongside a poster of the pair, Garcia wrote: “A dream turned reality. It’s an honour to share the Ring with @mannypacquiao.
“I will always respect what you did in and out the ring. Here’s to the best Man Winning.”
It’s currently unclear what weight the contest will take place at, with Garcia being a lightweight and Pacquiao a welterweight.

Given Pacquiao’s age, 42, it’s likely Garcia will be moving up in weight rather than the Filipino dropping down.
CASINO DEALS: BEST SIGN UP OFFERS TO CLAIM OVER £700

The fight has come together on the back of UFC superstar McGregor suffering a devastating second-round TKO loss to Dustin Poirier last weekend in Abu Dhabi.
A fight between Pacquiao and McGregor had been in the works for some time, with the UFC’s poster boy revealing the bout was ‘as good as done’ after suffering the first stoppage defeat of his MMA career.

He said: “I always did want to focus on my MMA career, but I’m also open you know what I mean? I’ll just see what happens – I don’t know what will happen.
“That Manny [Pacquiao] fight was happening, you know what I mean? It was as good as done.

“I just want to get in and get back into a bounce, especially against that style of fighter and not take those kicks. Don’t play with those kicks. It’s just a motherf***er to take.”
The proposed date for Pacquiao vs Garcia is currently unknown, although the former will enter the contest on the back of a lengthy layoff.
The former eight-weight world champion has been on the sidelines since his unanimous decision victory over Keith Thurman in January 2019, a win which saw him claim the WBA welterweight title.
Garcia, meanwhile, was in action earlier this month, stopping British Olympic gold medallist Luke Campbell to claim the WBA interim lightweight title.
