Jake Paul parties on packed yacht in Miami without a face mask after withdrawing $50m offer to fight Conor McGregor

JAKE PAUL has been snapped partying on a luxury yacht in Miami – without a face mask.
The YouTuber was spotted off the coast of Miami Beach, Florida on Sunday taking part in what looked like a fun-filled affair.

The boat, which is named Belladonna, was packed with passengers on both decks.
And not a single person on the yacht, including Paul, were seen wearing a mask.
Bikini-clad women could be seen frolicking in the water while other guests chatted closely while holding drinks.
Paul himself showed off his bulked tattooed body as he wore just a pair of blue swimming trunks.

Paul’s decision not to wear a mask as he got up close and personal with so many people should perhaps not come as a huge surprise given the fact he recently called the coronavirus pandemic a ‘hoax.’
He told Daily Beast: “This is the most detrimental thing to our society. COVID cases are at less than 1 per cent, and I think the disease is a hoax.
“It’s time for us to open up. Obviously, it’s a controversial subject, but it’s time for our nation to open up and go back to normal.
“There are people losing jobs, there are small businesses who are going bankrupt, there are millions of people who are unemployed right now, people are turning to alcohol and drugs to cope with everything that’s going on.”

The former Disney star later denied ever claiming Covid-19 is a hoax, a denial which was proven to be a lie after the journalist who conducted the interview released the audio recording of their conversation.
Paul’s partying on the luxury yacht came shortly after he brutally trolled UFC superstar Conor McGregor on social media.
McGregor, 32, suffered a devastating second-round TKO loss to Dustin Poirier in the main event of UFC 257 in Abu Dhabi over the weekend.
Prior to the fight, Paul had been campaigning for a multi-million-pound boxing match with the Irishman, calling him out on social media and claiming to have sent him a £37million ($50million) offer.

Jake Paul mocked Conor McGregor in the immediate aftermath of his UFC 257 defeat to Dustin Poirier

But he rescinded that offer immediately after seeing The Notorious fall at the hands of his old featherweight rival.
He said: “Conor, ay, ay, Conor – I got $10,000 for you cash, cash baby. You had $50million!”
Paul had previously slammed McGregor’s decision to rematch The Diamond, telling Mike Tyson: “I called out Conor McGregor while the whole entire world was watching.
“He’s fighting a guy, Dustin Poirier, who’s 5’9, 155-pounds, who he TKO’d already in one round. He’s fighting him again, why?”

Mike Tyson says he ‘crossed the line’ and was ‘really dark’ in pre-fight press conferences because he was ‘insecure’

MIKE TYSON has revealed his ‘insecurities’ led to him ‘crossing the line’ and entering a ‘really dark’ place for his pre-fight press conferences.
Iron Mike earned the nickname of the ‘Baddest Man on the Planet’ – with that reputation also being down to his behaviour before fights as well as in them.

And the 54-year-old, who returned to the ring in November with a draw in an exhibition clash with Roy Jones Jr last year, insisted everything is real until after the final bell.
Speaking on his ‘HotBoxin with Mike Tyson’ podcast, the American said: “I was always crossing the line.
“I remember one time Larry Holmes put his hand out and I didn’t shake his hand.
“I was that kind of guy, I was really dark, because I was insecure.”

The incident with Holmes was not the only time Tyson would go into the zone pre-fight.
He and Lennox Lewis were kept apart to avoid any physical altercation in 2002.
But the former heavyweight champion ignored that and confronted the Brit before a brawl ensued, and later he also got into an altercation with a reporter.
Reflecting on his actions, Tyson said: “I’m a heavy dude sometimes.”

After a number of controversies away from the ring, the veteran is back in unbelievable shape.
Tyson has opened up in the past on his drinking and drug habits while he fought as one of the most popular boxers on the planet.
And his prime athletic years were lost to addiction and a three-year prison term, started in 1992, for a rape he still fiercely denies.
He even took cocaine and cannabis moments before walking out to fight Lou Savarese in 2000, which he won in just 38 seconds.
His substance abuse then carried on after retiring from the sport in 2005.
But, Tyson revealed to Schaub he stopped drinking and taking cocaine prior to the success of his Hotboxin podcast, launched in early 2019.
The former two-time champion still smokes marijuana and has his own cannabis empire with businessman Rob Hickman.
Tyson revealed before his comeback fight that his wife inspired him to start training again in order to lose weight.
And after putting in the work, it inspired him to lace up the gloves again having previously been approached for a return.

Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather 2 on course to take place on luxury BOAT in Saudi Arabia due to coronavirus

FLOYD MAYWEATHER vs Conor McGregor II is on course for Saudi Arabia – on a mega-money cruise ship.
SunSport revealed last week that the 43-year-old Money Man and the Irish MMA icon were in talks about a possible rematch.

Conor McGregor might get that rematch against Floyd Mayweather after allCredit: Getty Images – Getty

McGregor, 32, had plenty of irons in the fire before the weekend but his shock second-round KO loss to Dustin Poirier on Saturday’s UFC show in Abu Dhabi wrecked his plans for a boxing bout with Manny Pacquiao.
And Mayweather wasted no time before steaming in and insulting The Notorious, in the perfect way to kick-off the hype around their potential second blockbuster.
Before the ice pack on McGregor’s battered right leg had even melted, the 50-0 boxing legend called him ‘Conman Artist McLoser’ and panned his bid to face eight-weight icon Pacquiao, who Mayweather beat in 2015.
Money Man said: “Just know, that bum will never be me or be on my level.

“I’m just built different, my mindset is on another planet, my skills are second to none, I’m a natural born winner and yes I talk a lot of trash, but every time I back it up.
“Connor cannot even win in his own sport, but talking about coming back to boxing to fight Pacquiao.

“Nobody wants to see that, it’s like my leftovers eating leftovers.”

The first MayMac fight in 2017 almost sold out the 16,000 seater T-Mobile arena in Las Vegas, raking in around £50million in VIP ticket sales.
But with the pandemic flooring the idea of packed arenas or stadiums, the idea of a luxury liner with only a few super-rich fans buying mega-money tickets has been floated.
McGregor sailed into Yas Island for the weekend’s bout on a 300ft yacht and a huge secluded bubble would minimise Covid-19 risks, while adding a James-Bond level of intrigue.
Anthony Joshua promoter Eddie Hearn revealed last year that he had been pitched the idea of a boat hosting AJ’s December win over Kubrat Pulev, that eventually happened at Wembley Arena.
So there is definitely a floating boxing ring somewhere that is being offered to the world’s biggest matchmakers.
FANCY A PUNT? TODAY’S BEST ODDS BOOSTS FROM THE UK’S LEADING BOOKIES

McGregor is considering his next move after a shattering UFC lossCredit: USA TODAY Sports
Undefeated icon Mayweather stopped McGregor on his professional boxing debut bout in August 2017, 16 months after SunSport broke the story of the cross-sport showdown.
Mayweather went 50-0 with the tenth-round Las Vegas stoppage of the Dubliner, making around £250million once all the pay-per-views sales were totted up.
And the five-weight champ boosted that windfall at the bookies by carrying the novice in the early rounds backing himself to get the win late.
McGregor, the former apprentice plumber who went from claiming €188 dole cheques to making the UFC a $4bn empire, cleared around £100m from the clash.
Despite repeatedly breaking box-office and PPV records across dozens of fights, rumours of cash trouble follows strip-club boss Mayweather around.

And the chance to make another outrageous paycheck by meeting McGregor inside a roped ring under Queensberry rules will be easy money for the pound-for-pound genius.
McGregor’s MMA reputation has taken a shellacking with two losses from his last three fights, Khabib Nurmagomedov brutally submitting him and Dustin Poirier beating him at his own striking game most recently.
But the two master salesmen could still put aside their advancing years and dented reputations to make obscene money during a crippling recession.
The original was a PPV smash with 4.4m buys in the US and around 875,000 in the UK despite the twilight start time.
And with so few entertainment options to rival a possible event, it could end up being another bumper earner.
McGregor insists he will win a bonafide boxing world title before his career comes to a close.
And, although Mayweather currently holds no title and the sanctioning bodies do not allow title challenges instantly after a loss, the money on offer could be enough to bend any of the fight game’s flimsy rules and regulations.

Veteran superstar Mayweather remains a ruthless gun for hire and he travelled to Japan in December 2018 to batter a top kick boxer to tears on New Years Eve.
Unlike in his drawn-out professional fight with McGregor, Pretty Boy Floyd used the exhibition bout to embarrass Tenshin Nasukawa with three knockdowns inside the opening round, with his corner throwing the towel before he had hurled a single punch.
The bizarre spectacle was the latest in Mayweather’s long-list of get-richer-quicker schemes with his life-timing earnings piling up over one billion dollars.
But, despite his outrageous social media boast posts and piles of cash, rivals like McGregor and rapper 50 Cent claim the bet-loving party boy keeps starring in bizarre bouts to stave off bookies and the taxman.
In December it was confirmed that the same man who has beaten Pacquiao, Ricky Hatton, Miguel Cotto, Oscar De La Hoya, Arturo Gatti, Canelo Alvarez and Jose Luis Castillo, would fight 25-year-old YouTube prankster Logan Paul in February this year.
Paul lost his first and only fight in November 2019 when fellow internet celebrity KSI outpointed him in a clumsy Los Angeles event.
But mastermind Mayweather has spotted the 22m subscribers and 6bn views Paul has so far generated and booked himself in for a tasteless earner of a bout.

Logan Paul gives sparring partner Lozano black eye ahead of Floyd Mayweather fight and is ‘better boxer than Jake’

Paul, 25, was due to step into the boxing ring with 50-0 legend ‘Money’ Mayweather on February 20.
But fight night looks set to be delayed as the pay-per-view exhibition event needed rescheduling.
However, the opinion splitting American has continued his training and Lozano reckons he might surprise a few people.
Lozano, speaking to MyBettingSites.co.uk, said: “Logan has got some power for sure, he left me a little black eye the first time we sparred, he left me a little shiner.

“He caught me and I was pretty surprised. I’ve only ever had one other fighter leave me a black eye and he was world champion Gilberto Ramirez.
“He got some pop for sure and he can take a punch too, he’s become more composed after taking a shot.”
Dana White reckons Mayweather is going batter the inexperienced ‘fighter’.
But Lozano says Paul will take the fight to the 43-year-old – who is training like ‘he will fight a top welterweight’.

He added: “He’s working on going in there and really making Floyd uncomfortable, going in there and making it a bit of rough, bump him up a bit.
“Don’t give him no room to breathe basically. You start making Mayweather comfortable and he’s going to start having fun in there.”
Paul, lost his only pro bout to rival KSI in November 2019 and even his six-inch height advantage is not expected to help.
Elsewhere, Logan’s brother Jake has recently tried to bait Conor McGregor into a money-spinning boxing match.
But Lozano does not fancy his chances against the Notorious and said Logan is the better boxer.
He said: “Jake has got some skills, but he’s more of a brawler while Logan is more of a boxer. I’ve sparred both and Logan is a better boxer.
“Jake is confident and he just needs to keep working on his skills.
“He’s not ready for Conor yet, but if he trains for his style he could be ready for McGregor.”

Eddie Hearn warns Anthony Joshua will KO Tyson Fury and says Wilder combo that knocked Gypsy King down wasn’t ‘clean’

EDDIE HEARN has fired a warning shot to Tyson Fury by claiming that Anthony Joshua will knock him out.
The Matchroom promoter also dismissed the Gypsy King memorably rising from the canvas against Deontay Wilder in their first fight by insisting that none of the shots that hit him were ‘clean’.

SunSport previously reported that AJ’s heavyweight unification bout with Fury is edging ever closer with contract talks due this week.
Boxing fans around the world have been clamouring for the fight since Fury’s demolition of former WBC king Wilder last February.
The two had battled to a controversial split decision draw in 2018 with the Gypsy King epically recovering from a 12th-round knockdown.
But AJ’s promoter Hearn has maintained that Wilder’s two-shot combo didn’t even connect properly.

I know that Fury got up from a Wilder shot the two-shot combination, which he wrote very well. None of those shots him particularly clean
    Eddie Hearn

The 41-year-old also shared his belief that undefeated Fury has been hurt already in other fights and Joshua will present a different challenge.
Speaking on the Toe 2 Toe Podcast, he said: “I believe he (Anthony Joshua) knocks Tyson Fury out.
“You know, I know that Fury got up from a Wilder shot the two-shot combination, which he wrote very well.
“None of those shots him particularly clean. They were still heavy shots. But you know, you’ve seen him (Tyson Fury) down against Cunningham.”

Hearn added: “You know, you’ve seen him (Tyson Fury) hurt before and other fights and AJ is a different kind of beast.”
AJ’s fight with Brit rival Fury was recently given a huge boost after the WBO contacted Oleksandr Usyk over fighting Joe Joyce.
The Ukrainian has hinted he is willing to be paid off, and his manager confirmed Frank Warren’s son has contacted him to fight Joyce, 35.
That would see the pair fight for the ‘interim’ belt, promising the winner a shot at the title next, or inheriting the full version if it was vacated.

Joe Joyce on strict diet after he ‘had Deliveroo and Dominos on speed dial’ during first lockdown last year

JOE JOYCE will stick to a lockdown diet now he has a mouth-watering cold dish of revenge over Oleksandr Usyk on the menu.
The 35-year-old Juggernaut was a career heavy 19st 4lbs for his July win over Michael Wallisch and dropped almost a stone for the masterful British title win over Daniel Dubois in November.

The 6ft 6in 2016 Olympic silver winner enjoyed a Dubai break after the jabbing clinic he beat the red-hot prospect into submission with.
But now he is ranked No.2 with the WBO he has the Ukraine No.1 – who beat him in the amateurs – possibly even for an interim belt he wants to slide into with ease.
Joyce told SunSport: “The first lockdown came in the summer and I treated it a bit like a holiday because I had been in camp so long for Dubois as it was postponed a couple of times.
“I was just chilling out on the garden decking most days, I had Deliveroo and Domino’s on speed dial.

“But now I have serious things to do. I have finally beaten Dubois and it sets me up nicely for the fight with Usyk that could potentially take me on to face the winner of Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury.
“I had my little holiday fling with junk food in the summer and now it is a New Year, it is down to business and 2021 is going to be my year.”
Joyce was a wide underdog going into the Dubois clash, despite his huge amateur pedigree and Rio heroics where he was robbed of a gold.

    [embedded content]
The ramrod jab Team GB honed on the Putney ace shattered Dubois’ left eyesocket and the agonising injury threatened to overshadow the almost faultless win.

But modest Joyce has felt a surge of public support from the victory and feels he has got some of the respect his size, skill and dedication deserve.
“I feel I have gained a lot of respect, I don’t think everyone considers me ‘Slow Old Joe’ anymore!” he laughed.
“I think people have seen I have been improving. I am not a robot, I can now move my head and feet and I deliver on the big occasions.”
London 2012 gold winner Usyk became undisputed cruiserweight king in 2018 but his first two wins up at heavyweight have been flat but his excellent standards.
That dip in form and the three stone of muscle likely to separate them if they meet again, after Usyk’s 2015 points win the World Series of Boxing tournament, are boosting Joyce’s confidence.

He said: “I have a bigger frame, I am 6ft 6in tall and have a longer reach.
“I thought Usyk’s last fight with Derek Chisora was very close, I thought Usyk only nicked it on points by jabbing and getting on his bike.
“I would not be worried about Usyk’s power, it would just be a technical fight.
“But I would be there with the professional 10oz gloves and he would have to be concerned with avoiding all of my punches for 36 minutes.”
Joe Joyce, is working with Purplebricks to encourage the nation to get behind Team GB on their journey to Tokyo, with the same amazing home support as London 2012. Visit @PurplebricksUK on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & YouTube.

Conor McGregor ‘already harassing everybody’ for Dustin Poirier trilogy but could ‘drift into boxing’ if denied rematch

CONOR McGREGOR is ‘already harassing everybody’ for an immediate rematch with Dustin Poirier, his head coach John Kavanagh has revealed.
But, if the UFC superstar is denied a trilogy fight with Poirier, it could see McGregor drift into boxing as an alternative.

John Kavanagh said Conor McGregor is training again already Credit: Sportsfile – Subscription

Kavanagh told ESPN: “He’s already harassing everybody to get the rematch.
“We would love the rematch. I don’t think Dustin is against that. If we could get the rematch before the summer, that’d be amazing.
“If it’s not to be, I guess I don’t really know. Maybe he drifts off into the boxing.”
Before McGregor’s devastating second round knockout defeat, he revealed talks were intensifying between himself and Manny Pacquiao.

But after losing by knockout for the first time in his UFC career, the Irishman is facing doubts over where his next move lies.
Those same questions were posed when he was beaten for the first time in the UFC by Nate Diaz in March 2016.
McGregor responded emphatically, avenging defeat five months later to redeem himself, even closing out the year by winning the lightweight title.
Coach Kavanagh revealed there has been a similar response from the southpaw star, who first KO’d Poirier in 2014.

The head trainer believes it sets the 32-year-old pair up perfectly for a trilogy decider, with the title on the line following Khabib Nurmagomedov’s retirement.
Kavanagh said: “Dustin v Conor 3 for the belt, in May or something like that; wouldn’t that be amazing?
“We’re 1-1. We gave him the rematch after the first win, and I hope he returns the sentiment.”
McGregor’s last loss came in 2018, a bitter submission against arch rival Nurmagomedov, 32.
After that, the former two-weight champion had just 40 seconds in the cage before returning at UFC 257 on Fight Island.
McGregor pointed to the inactivity as a sticking point in his performance as well as the brutal calf kicks Poirier dished out.

It left him unable to walk properly and even needing a crutch immediately after the fight.
But, Kavanagh reassured fans McGregor is recovering well and has even began training again.
He revealed: “The leg is OK.
“There’s no serious damage. The peroneal nerve that runs down on that side of the leg, which was kicked a number of times, was completely dead.
“And then the leg started filling up with blood as well, so he couldn’t move on it all.
“But as of today, he’s in good form. He did a very tough workout this morning.”

Conor McGregor told he needs to win Dustin Poirier trilogy with ‘boxing style KO’ to salvage Manny Pacquiao fight

CONOR McGREGOR needs to beat Dustin Poirier with a ‘boxing style KO’ to salvage any chances of fighting Manny Pacquiao.
That is according to former fighter turned-promoter Dmitry Salita, once a sparring partner of Floyd Mayweather’s.

Salita admits the demand for McGregor boxing Pacquiao has been dealt a major blow after the Irishman was knocked out by Poirier.
And it leaves the UFC’s biggest ever star needing to avenge his defeat in emphatic fashion if he has any hope of convincing fans to buy into his ring return.
Salita told SunSport: “I believe that there will be significantly less interest in his boxing return.

“The hook is that he is one of the best in the UFC but that is not the case anymore.
“He would have to come back in an exciting dominating fashion to get same level of interest in a boxing return
“He needs to win the rematch in a dominating way and it would be better if he did with a boxing style KO.
“The intrigue that would sell this particular fight is no longer there as he is not the best in the UFC.”

McGregor, 32, made around £100million for his 2017 boxing debut against Floyd Mayweather, 43, which he lost in ten rounds.

And before marking his UFC comeback against Poirier, 32, he revealed talks were intensifying between himself and Pacquiao, 42.
But after being KO’d for the first time in the UFC, the southpaw multimillionaire is left with questions over his fighting future.
He now faces a rebuilding job, with distractions from outside the UFC needing to be eliminated in order to build back his reputation.
Salita said: “Conor is a great self promoter.
“I believe that he was pushing for the Pacquiao fight and was hoping that his performance in the Poirer rematch would push the public’s interest.
“But the ring and now the octagon is the theatre of the unexpected and as we see anything can happen.
“Such defeats are somewhat unexpected and can cause a dent in a career.
“However, we see that in the UFC culture losses are more tolerable and fighters do come back so lets see how the next stage of Conor’s career plays out.”

Mayweather was quick to bask in McGregor’s defeat and slammed any suggestion of a fight with Pacquiao, who the American beat in 2015.
The Notorious has also seen a mega-money rematch with bitter rival Khabib Nurmagomedov, 32, seemingly go up in smoke too.
But, with a fighter as polarising and popular as McGregor, he is only a win away from bouncing back and climbing to the top again.
Then, talk of the biggest fights in both the boxing ring and UFC octagon can resume.
Salita explained: “I think Conor is a very good fighter and a great self promoter.
“Both are essential elements in making of a superstar. Conor was a superstar in the cage and perhaps he can get to that level again.
“He needs to go back to the drawing board and become elite as a fighter again.
“If he can do that then the mega fights be they hybrid with a boxing superstar or with fellow UFC fighters will happen.”
