FLOYD MAYWEATHER’S Brit girlfriend has hinted at the pair’s future happiness together by posting a gushing birthday message to the legendary boxer.
In a rare reference to the fighter on her Instagram, Anna Monroe said she was “beyond grateful” to the American superstar.

The pair are enjoying an idyllic holiday together in the Caribbean to mark Floyd’s 44th birthday.
Earlier this week Sun Online revealed how Floyd had introduced Anna to his friends at a party over the weekend.
A pal said: “The pair are getting closer and closer by the week. It’s becoming a really serious relationship.”
Floyd also fed flamingos as he enjoyed his Caribbean birthday getaway.

The boxing legend appeared at one with nature in Aruba with British stripper girlfriend Anna.
Anna – who works as head stripper at Floyd’s Girl Collection nightclub – has been dating Floyd officially since New Year’s Day.
Last week he threw a glitzy birthday bash in Florida featuring models in skin-tight outfits.
He arrived in a $2million Bugatti with the likes of rapper Rick Ross in attendance.

But Mayweather took things ‘to the next level’ by introducing girlfriend Anna to pals at his birthday party as ‘his princess’.
“He’s only interested in Anna,” our source added. “He adores her.”
Earlier this year, SunSport told how Floyd is now planning a UK trip to meet the parents of his new girlfriend.
The legendary fighter – who was introduced to Anna’s family on FaceTime on New Year’s Day – plans to charm them ‘as soon as he’s allowed’.

A source said: “Floyd is serious about Anna. He loves England and as soon as they are allowed to travel again he’d love to come over and meet her family and friends.
“He wants them to see the real Floyd Mayweather – which is a lot different to what many people think.”
Mayweather was due to fight YouTuber Logan Paul last weekend but that bout has been postponed.

Watch Ben Askren training for fight against Jake Paul as ex-UFC star punches heavy bag with YouTuber’s FACE on it

BEN ASKREN has been using Jake Paul’s FACE as target practise after he got the YouTuber printed on a heavy bag.
The retired UFC welterweight faces Paul on April 17, in what will be his first boxing bout.

Ben Askren, 36, has been using Jake Paul’s FACE as target practise

The retired UFC welterweight faces Jake Paul on April 17

But he is already getting to grips with finding the social media star’s chin, in the form of a boxing bag.
Askren, 36, uploaded rare training footage which revealed him landing shots on Paul’s mocked up face.
The American won titles in Bellator and ONE Championship before moving to the UFC in 2019.
But after three fights, and two losses, he hung up the gloves citing injury and underwent hip surgery in 2020.

Despite having vastly more amounts of fighting experience than Paul, Askren was renowned for his grappling style, rarely striking.
As a result, he is the betting underdog going into the fight.
Paul, 24, is 2-0 since debuting in 2020, and has two knockouts to his name, against online rival ‘AnEsonGib’ and ex-NBA player Nate Robinson.
He is yet to get past the second round, and his coach, ex-cruiserweight contender BJ Flores, does not see that changing against Askren.

Flores, 42, told BoxingScene: “Jake regularly trains and spars with some of the very best prospects in the country.
“The difference is night and day. Ben Askren and the entire MMA world is in for a major surprise on April 17.
“I’m not saying nothing else. We will do our talking April 17 on Triller.
“Seeing some of the Ben Askren training footage, I will be shocked if this fight gets into the second round.”

Tyson Fury boasts he can beat Anthony Joshua ‘with one arm tied behind my back’ despite 16-month ring rust

TYSON FURY boasted that he can beat Anthony Joshua ‘with one arm tied behind my back’ despite 16-months out the ring.
The pair are in talks for an undisputed title decider, where the WBC, WBA, IBF and WBO belts will all be on the line for the first time in heavyweight history.

Fury last fought in February, when he dethroned Deontay Wilder, 35, two years after their contentious draw.
Joshua, 31, won as recently as December, knocking out Kubrat Pulev, 39, in a mandatory defence.
With negotiations progressing for a June headliner, it will mean Fury, 32, goes into the biggest fight of his life with a 16 month layoff.
But he claims even the ring rust does not make up for the skill disparity between himself and AJ.

Fury told ESPN: “He only fought in December, so December – June is only six months out the ring.
“So, he’ll be a full year ahead of me in activity. But, I’m that much in front of him with skill, a year of inactivity doesn’t really do that much.
“But you can never beat being match-fit and being active and being out regular, any fighter will tell you the same.
“If you’re out regular and you’re match-fit, then you should be able to beat people that are inactive, that’s for sure.

BOXING SPECIAL: GET CANELO TO BEAT YILDIRIM AT 20/1

“But I don’t make excuses, I had three-years out the ring, came back and beat Deontay Wilder’s ass.
“So, I’m sure I can beat Anthony Joshua with one arm tied behind my back, even after being out the ring for 16 months.”
SunSport understands a deal is set to be announced at the start of March and a non-disclosure agreement is keeping discussions top secret.
But it has not stopped Fury from voicing his concern over terms failing to be agreed, and revealed plans to fight twice in 2021, with or without AJ.
And if a mega-money Battle of Britain cannot commence, the unbeaten heavyweight wants to return as early as April.
Fury explained: “If that fight doesn’t happen this summer, it’s got to happen sooner or later.
“But Top Rank has to give me two fights this year. I will fight two times on ESPN. I don’t care who it is.

“If it’s not Joshua, we’re looking to fight in April or early May, and the end of the year.
“If it is Joshua, then June and the end of the year. Bang, bang. So, 2021 is looking bright.”
Saudi Arabia, which hosted AJ’s December 2019 rematch win over Andy Ruiz Jr, is leading the race to hold the fight.
But America, Qatar, Dubai, Singapore and China have all expressed their interest in hosting.
With the coronavirus fall-out unlikely to let 90,000 fans back into Wembley stadium for a while, the UK has to hope to host the rematch of the planned two-fight rivalry.
Fury usually spends the final leg of his training camp in the US, with his last four fights being held Stateside, having not boxed in the UK since 2018.

But the WBC king has already started his preparations at his Morecambe base, but fans have been given limited access.
It came after he gave up social media for lent, between February 17 and April 3, as well as diet and Coke Zero.
Fury revealed: “I’m taking an absence from fizzy drinks and social media, they were my two give-ups for lent this year.
“I usually drinks 2-3 cans of like, diet or zero sodas and I’d look at Instagram, Twitter usually everyday.
“So to give them two things up, I’d thought it’d be a good challenge for 40 days and 40 nights.
“Neither of them so far have been tough. I can give up anything.
“If I can get back from 400-odd-pounds down to 250, I can do anything.”

Mike Tyson and Frank Bruno seem to have found peace at last and there’s genuine warmth between pair

FRANK BRUNO and Mike Tyson’s army of fans will be delighted that, despite their traumatic lives, they seem to have found peace of mind as they approach old age.
The ex-heavyweight champions, who had two ferocious fights, met up for the first time in 25 years in Miami a couple of months ago.

Former title rivals Mike Tyson and Frank Bruno met for the first time in 25 yearsCredit: Sky

Their equivalent of a friendly fireside chat took place in the palatial surroundings at Tyson’s holiday home and is the basis of an absorbing 90-minute Sky documentary.
Having covered their careers from the beginning to the end and spending a considerable amount of time reporting on their out-of-the-ring problems it did my heart good to see them both looking so well.
They are now in their fifties and what comes across as they shared a sofa is that — not only were they comfortable in each other’s company — but also there is a genuine warmth and respect between them.
There are exceptions but that is usually the case between fighters who have spilt blood together in brutal battles.

Mike, who used to revel in being known as the Baddest Man on the Planet, has clearly mellowed and is now more like a cuddly bear. Frank certainly hasn’t changed. He is a laidback and endearing gentle giant outside of business hours.
Anyone who knows nothing about boxing and tunes would never guess they used to ruthlessly beat men up for a living.
During their light-hearted conversation, I expected them to suddenly proudly start showing pictures of their children and grandchildren.
They hardly talked about boxing — more interested in touching on the hardships and adversity they had overcome.

As Tyson pointed out, Frank may have been to one mental facility but he has been around ten of them.
They were reunited at Bruno’s request. Ben Hirsch, the talented director of the documentary, said: “Frank was keen to do it not just for entertainment purposes — but because there was unfinished business.
“They hadn’t had a proper chat since their second fight which ended Frank’s career.”
Most of Hirsch’s film is taken up with the background and build-up to to the fights in Las Vegas, seven years apart.

When Bruno, who was the challenger, arrived in Vegas from his Arizona training camp for the first one in 1989, he was dreadfully homesick and extremely tense.
Terry Lawless, his worried and desperate manager, knew he somehow had to get Bruno to get rid of his tension.
Secretly, he got Dr David Silverman, the famous Vegas psychiatrist who treated the showbusiness stars of the Strip, to help Frank relax.
I got to hear of it and broke the story in SunSport that Bruno was having hypnosis.
Dr Silverman even put Bruno under in the dressing room before he went out to challenge Tyson for his title.
Not that it did any good. Frank was out on his feet after Tyson’s fifth-round barrage.

In 1996, Bruno was the defending champion. Knowing what he was about to face, he crossed himself so many times during the ringwalk that I remarked that he looked like a man walking to the gallows.
He was battered to defeat in the third round.
Tyson will go down in history as one of the great world heavyweight champions.
Bruno, as popular in Britain today as in his heyday, will always be the most lovable.

Love Island star Tommy Fury savaged by boxing fans as next opponent is named as 0-9 fighter Scott Williams

TOMMY FURY has been criticised for landing a fight with Scott Williams… who has lost each of his nine fights.
The Gypsy King’s half brother, 21, steps into the ring for the fifth time in his career on Saturday night despite the headline act being pulled.

Lyon Woodstock’s British title fight with Anthony Cacace has been postponed after the former tested positive for coronavirus.
But the show must go on and Fury’s scrap with Williams will go ahead alongside Nathan Heaney vs Ryan Oliver, Sam Noakes vs Delmar Thomas and Ijaz Ahmed against Quaise Khademi.
However it was Fury’s fight that raised eyebrows over the quality of his opponent.
Williams, 32, has fought nine times and tasted defeat nine times with his last scrap coming in November.

Despite his lowly ranked opponent, the Love Island star is still on a mission for boxing fans to treat him seriously inside the ring.
He told BT Sport: “What I’ve learned is that nobody will ever take me seriously until I get to where I want to be.
“And that’s because there’s a lot of jealously going on in the world today, there’s a lot of bad emotions and there’s a lot of sheep.
“When one person says something about you the rest will follow on so I don’t care what anybody says about me.

“It’s better for me that they don’t rate me because I’ll keep getting in that ring to prove myself time and time again.”
With Fury’s last five opponents, they have recorded a combined 12 wins, 174 losses and five draws.
One fan commented: “I reckon Tommy probably gets more from sparring Tyson than he does from this fight.”
Another said: “Another road sweeper for Tommy. Yes you need to build a fighter up but at least give him someone who’s coming to win.”

Watch Floyd Mayweather rock up to star-studded, Miami-Vice themed 44th birthday party in stunning £2m Bugatti

FLOYD MAYWEATHER rocked up to his star-studded, Miami-Vice themed 44th birthday party in a stunning £2million Bugatti.
Mayweather celebrated his big day with a long-time friend, LIMITLESS CEO Jas Mathur, who helped put together the event in Fort Lauderdale.

Footage captured the boxing legend pulling up to venue in a white Veyron, dressed in black and gold.
Mayweather said: “I want to thank Jas Mathur ‘Limitless’ and The Money Team, P-Reala, my security team, Lil Jamez.
“Everybody played a major role for me to be well met. I’m appreciative and we’re going to keep going.”
Coronavirus protocols were in place, with guests providing proof of a negative Covid-19 test, given temperature checks and custom masks upon entering.

Pictures from the future-themed event saw the likes of rapper Rick Ross and President Joe Biden’s brother James partying with Mayweather.
Neither wore face coverings or social distanced, but state rules in Florida do not require either, despite recommending both.
Also there was British stripper Anna Monroe, who has been romantically linked with Mayweather.
But the former five-weight world champion denied they were engaged in a social media post in January.

Other celeb guests included ex-NFL star Ty Law, pop artist Jacquees and singer Montana Tucker.
Perhaps the most surprising guest of all was MILK The Pom star – a dog who has featured on Disney Channel.
Delicious buffets and custom cocktails were available for guests, despite Mayweather having NEVER drunk alcohol.
The all-time ring great retired in 2017 after beating Conor McGregor and later topped Forbes rich list of the decade with a £706MILLION fortune.
Mayweather did return a year later, wiping out featherweight kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa in round one of their exhibition.

Coronavirus protocols were in place at the bash

And he is preparing for a similar spectacle bout with a scheduled fight against YouTuber Logan Paul.
Mayweather was due to face Paul on February 20 – but it was later backdated after no venue was announced.
He later opened up for the first time on the cancelled fight as he spoke to fans in a Clubhouse meet-up call.
Mayweather said: “We’re gonna do Logan Paul, and we pushed it back because we want an audience, we want to bring 80,000 people to watch.
“We’re trying to do it at the Raider’s stadium in Vegas for 80,000 people.”

Andy Ruiz Jr shows off incredible body transformation as Anthony Joshua’s conqueror sheds weight with new trainer

ANDY RUIZ JR has proudly shown off his incredible body transformation on Instagram.
The Mexican-American fighter, 31, hasn’t set foot in the ring since his loss to Anthony Joshua in Saudi Arabia in December 2019.

That night, Ruiz tipped the scales at a monster 20st 3lbs after admitting a weakness for Snickers bars.
But Ruiz is now putting in the hard graft in gym with a fight against Chris Arreola in the spring on the cards.
In the build-up to the proposed fight, the California-born boxer has switched trainers and has now been taken under Eddy Reynoso’s wing.
And Ruiz showed off his leaner physique in a short video on Instagram.

Filmed from a flattering angle above his own head, he captioned the clip: “Workout done.”
It’s not the first time Ruiz has left fans’ jaws on the floor with his workout videos.
Just last week, the boxer – who beat AJ in their first fight in New York in June 2019 – showed off his brutal left hook.
It was the same punch that caused Joshua so many problems in their first encounter as he ripped away his WBA, WBO and IBF belts.

Ruiz also confirmed he will soon be back in action.
He captioning the training video: “We working hard, fight date coming soon.”
Last month, Ruiz even admitted he hopes to have a third and final fight with Joshua having won the first and lost the rematch.
Ruiz claimed: “I’d like to fight the rematch again, the third fight with Anthony Joshua, and either between Wilder and Tyson Fury.
“Nobody thought I’d be champion of the world with the way I looked.
“I want to get back at it and be the man I’m supposed to be.
“And I don’t have a fight date yet, but I’m for sure going to fight this year.
“I just want to be in shape and show everybody… this little chubby boy is going to look good.”

But Mexican trainer Jorge Catepillo – who was in Ruiz Jr’s corner for his early fights – is just desperate for the 33-2 boxer to get back to competing.
He told Sky Sports: “A fighter never loses because they get knocked down. They lose because they don’t get up.
“I want Andy to prove to himself that it was not a lucky shot.
“Because it was not lucky, let me tell you, because Joshua went down but got back up.
“Joshua didn’t run. But you saw what happened.
“I would love to see Andy as a champion again.”

Die-hard Stoke fan Nathan Heaney goes viral with epic ‘Delilah’ ring entrance before dream deal with Frank Warren

STOKE CITY super-fan Nathan Heaney has a masterplan to help his club lay siege to the Championship’s London sides next season.
The 31-year-old middleweight became a viral sensation last year when his ring-walk video – to the tune of Potters theme tune Delilah – showed a whopping 1,300 diehard supporters causing absolute scenes.

The part-time college teacher – who even has a few students following him between Bolton, Birmingham and their Staffordshire home – has been snapped up by boxing Hall of Fame promoter Frank Warren.
And, once he deals with Ryan Oliver at a fan-free CopperBox on Saturday, a cunning plan is coming together for legendary weekend double headers once the UK is free from Covid-19.
The 10-0 ace told SunSport: “My supporters – who are all almost friends – have followed me whether Stoke have been winning or losing but my manager Errol Johnson has made sure most of my dates have been when we have been playing at home, so everyone can do both.
“Hopefully Frank likes the idea that when Stoke have an away day down in London, he can get me on a card down there and the lads will be able to have the dream weekend.

“Depending on how the promotions and relegations go at the end of the season, and who ends up where, I’d love to thank my supporters for all their help with a weekend away.
“I know that would be absolutely mental and they would buy a lot of tickets.”

BOXING SPECIAL: GET CANELO TO BEAT YILDIRIM AT 20/1
Heaney’s last fight, almost exactly one year ago at the King’s Hall in Stoke, was absolutely packed to the rafters.

Modestly he cannot really pinpoint why he is so popular, admitting he only sold 60 tickets for his November 2107 debut.
But his third caused such a stir on Channel 5 – without even getting broadcast on the Hughie Fury undercard – that word spread around the staunchly working-class city and Heaney’s popularity snowballed.
“I boxed in Bolton but my bout was on too early to be shown on Channel 5 but my supporters stayed there to watch and apparently all you could hear on the TV was ‘Delilah’ being sung over and over again.
“My social media support grew overnight then and it hasn’t really stopped. The last one just went out of control, it was mad.”

Heaney didn’t turn pro until he was 27 but has boxed since he was nine years old thanks to his fight-loving dad’s constant encouragement.
Tragically Joseph lost his own long battle with mental health in 2019 and took his own life, Nathan raised the alarm and called the police to save himself the extra agony of discovering the body.
Somehow Nathan boxed for the Midlands Area title just four weeks after his father’s funeral and carefully discussed the heartbreak only in the hope it might help anyone else struggling with a similar position.
The doting daddy to four-year-old daughter Ava insists he does not want to use his personal heartbreak to boost his popularity any further but he has a message for anyone else struggling.
“I went to Millwall the next day after my dad passed and didn’t tell anyone what happened,” Heaney said. “While I was there I got a message saying my next fight had just been sanctioned for a title we had always dreamed about, so I knew I had to take it.

College teacher Nathan Heaney hopes his story can help anyone suffering with mental health problems.Credit: Getty Images – Getty
“If I had lost, it would have been because I was not good enough, nothing to do with my dad.
“It’s something that is private and personal to me but I would like to suggest to people suffering with mental health is that you have to try to keep going because you never know what could happen to turn things around.
“If my dad just hung around for just a few weeks longer he would have seen us achieve so much.

“He used to tell all of his mates that I would get signed by Frank Warren, they probably all thought he was silly and so did I probably.
“But I have done it, I achieved the dream and it’s just a shame that he won’t be here to see it.
“Hopefully now I can go on to represent Stoke well, which is how my dad brought me up, then I can have a positive effect on people.”
