Chisora bombarding Joseph Parker with late night phone calls and labels him ‘f***ing chicken’ to set up summer UK fight

DEREK CHISORA has bombarded Joseph Parker with phone calls through the night in a bid to set up a summer fight in the UK.
After Parker beat Junior Fa, he challenged the British heavyweight to a bout in New Zealand, calling him a ‘donkey’.

But Chisora got his own back as he continuously rang the ex-WBO champion’s phone in the early hours of the morning.
At one point, he said: “You f***ing chicken, answer your phone, you chicken! Why you not answering? He’s annoying me now.
“I’m p***ed off with him now. Jospeh, I’m very upset with you, man, I’ve called you ten times and you haven’t answered.”
Luckily, Parker, 29, saw the funny side of it, tweeting: “Was having the best sleep too.”

The pair were due to fight in October 2019, but Parker pulled out with a freak injury after being bitten by a SPIDER.
Chisora, 36, went on to instead face and beat David Price, 37, before challenging ex-cruiserweight king Oleksandr Usyk, 34.
Usyk, Anthony Joshua’s WBO mandatory challenger, beat the veteran Londoner but only after some tense opening rounds.
Chisora has now turned his attention back to Parker, with the two yet to settle their score.

The Kiwi, a friend of Tyson Fury’s who was beaten by AJ in 2018 and Dillian Whyte a year later, has won his last four.
Chisora, managed by former rival David Haye, revealed negotiations are progressing for a fight in the capital this year.
He told Sky Sports: “If we can get Joseph Parker this year, in the next couple of months, we’d be happy for that.
“Right now we are in talks about the fight to be in London.”

Tommy Fury fight against Jake Paul gets green light with Frank Warren open to making clash if YouTuber has ‘got balls’

TOMMY FURY has been given the green light by Frank Warren to fight Jake Paul.
Love Island star Fury and the YouTuber have traded words online and gone back and forth with callout videos.

But now they have a path to fight after veteran promoter Warren revealed he would be happy to match the pair – so long as Paul has ‘got the balls’ to do so.
He told iFL TV: “Look if he wants to make that fight, we can do it in a heartbeat.
“No problem with that. If Jake feels he is a step up for Tommy then let’s do it.
“I always say if anyone gets in the ring then they’ve got some balls to do that but having said that, there are levels.

“When I say that Tommy’s learning the trade and is a bit of a novice, but he [Paul] doesn’t even reach the level of experience that Tommy has got.
“If he wants that fight, then let’s do it and I’m sure everyone would love to see it. So Jake, if you’ve got the balls, come and do it mate.”
The surprise feud started when Tommy’s brother, WBC heavyweight champion Tyson, called on Paul to fight his half-sibling.
Jake, younger brother to fellow internet star Logan, responded and urged Tommy to instead challenge him on his own.

After he did, Paul mocked the light-heavyweight with a British accent.
It caused Fury, 21, to question the social media sensation’s desire to fight as he too took aim by wearing what appeared to be a blonde wig.
He said: “I don’t know how you take yourself seriously.
“I put it on a plate for you, I asked if you wanted to fight, and you decided to laugh it off as per usual.
“Stick to your little YouTube, behind your little desk, and don’t come over to this boxing world because you will get laid out in 30 seconds flat.”

Fury, who was runner-up in ITV’s popular reality TV show in 2019 with girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague, is 5-0 in his career since turning pro in 2018.
Paul, 24, is 2-0 with as many KOs having beaten online rival ‘AnEsonGib’ in January 2020 before leaving ex-NBA player Nate Robinson, 36, out cold last November.
He faces retired UFC welterweight Ben Askren, 36, in his next fight on April 17.
Brother Logan, 25, has boxed twice before, both against YouTuber KSI, with the first a draw in a 2018 exhibition with the American losing the rematch a year later.
Despite his winless record, he is set to fight boxing legend Floyd Mayweather, 44, in an exhibition spectacle this year.

Jake Paul’s Triller backer ready to offer Floyd Mayweather fight ‘for the right price’ only if YouTuber beats Ben Askren

JAKE PAUL’S Triller backers are ready to offer him a Floyd Mayweather fight ‘for the right price’ – but only if the YouTuber first beats Ben Askren.
Paul headlines Triller’s next pay-per-view on April 17, facing ex-UFC welterweight Askren.

Despite just one year’s worth of professional experience, with two knockouts in as many fights, the social media star has become one of the most polarising names in boxing.
Paul, 24, publicly challenged UFC kingpin Conor McGregor, 32, and even claimed he had $50milllion waiting for him in January.
But after the Irishman was beaten by Dustin Poirier, 32, on his UFC return, the offer was instead reduced to $10,000.
Paul was then subject to a shock callout from Mayweather – who is due to face Jake’s brother Logan this year – with the 50-0 star saying he would fight the younger Paul should he get past Askren.

And Triller’s ‘Fight Club’, led by Ryan Kavanaugh, CEO of billion dollar film company Relativity Media, are also on board to front the cash for the spectacle.
Kavanaugh, 46, told SunSport: “For the right price we would definitely do that. If Jake wins this fight it makes a big difference.
“He would have beat one of the best fighters there is, he may not be the best boxers, we don’t know, but he’s a real fighter.
“If Jake then calls for a big fight, he has a little more credibility to do it. If Jake wins this fight, he can go to major fights, a Mayweather-type thing.”

Paul, 24, first boxed in an exhibition in 2018, but turned pro two years later alongside Logan, 25.
He beat online rival ‘AnEsonGib’ on his debut before leaving ex-NBA star Nate Robinson, 36, out cold in November on Triller’s first PPV.
Paul acted as chief support for Mike Tyson, 54, that night, after the heavyweight icon returned to face Roy Jones Jr, 52.
But for his third fight he will headline the bill, against Askren, 36, who retired from the UFC in 2019.
Kavanaugh – whose firm have produced over 250 movies – projects the event with sell 2M PPVs – surpassing Tyson’s 1.6m sold on his return.
And he credits Paul’s army of fans and followers – 20MILLION of which subscribe to his YouTube channel – as a major part in his box office appeal.
Kavanaugh, who has worked with Hollywood’s elite, revealed it took him just one meeting to recognise Paul’s star quality, which compares to other A-listers.

He said: “I’ve always tended to know who’s going to be a star before they’re a star.
“When I was working with Bradley Cooper in Limitless, he was the ‘Hangover guy’ but you could just tell he was going to be a star.
“He had the quality not only on set but off set. There’s just a certain character that comes off.
“When Gerard Butler and I were doing ‘300’ he was the guy behind the mask in ‘Phantom of the Opera’.
“Again, on-camera, off-camera, you could just feel he was going to be a movie star.
“Channing Tattum, his second movie we did called ‘Fighting’ and then after that ‘Dear John’ you could just tell he was going to be a star.
“Jake has that quality. When you sit in a room and talk to him he has that air that exudes stardom, it just comes out.”

Fury’s US promoter Bob Arum told iFL TV: “As far as I’m concerned, I’ve been working on it and all of the points have been agreed to.”
And Frank Warren added: “The fight is very close to being done now. It’s all Covid-19 related but I think it will go on some time in June, latest July.”
According to the Daily Mail, the revelation that the undisputed title decider could be pushed back to July brings in the possibility of the Allegiant Stadium hosting.
It is the home of NFL giants Las Vegas Raiders, which opened up last year after just under three years of construction.

As yet, no fans have been able to attend games amid coronavirus restrictions, with matches played behind closed doors.
It is being touted as a new venue for mega boxing events and can hold up to 75,000 fight fans, opposed to 65,000 in NFL games.
Floyd Mayweather, 44, even revealed his exhibition with Logan Paul, 25, originally set for February 20, was postponed to instead move to the Allegiant.
Saudi Arabia, which hosted AJ’s December 2019 rematch win over Andy Ruiz Jr, is leading the race to hold the Battle of Britain with Fury.

But America, Qatar, Dubai, Singapore and China have also all expressed their interest in hosting.
With the pandemic fall-out unlikely to allow for 90,000 fans back into Wembley stadium for a while, the UK has to hope to host the rematch of the planned two-fight deal.
Joshua, 31, and Fury, 32, for the first time in heavyweight history, will put all four WBC, WBA, IBF and WBO belts on the line. More

The two are firing shots at each other on social media after Tyson called for the pair to fight.
But Jake Paul wasn’t sure if it was a joke, saying that ‘if Tyson Fury took a s***, it would be his little brother – this little kid’.

Sharing a clip on Twitter and attempting an American accent, Tommy, 21, said: “Sorry bro, I didn’t see you there, I was too busy being a massive p***y”.

The Love Island star then gets back to being British, adding: “Jesus Christ, I don’t know how you take yourself seriously looking like this, my god.
“I put it on a plate for you, I asked you if you weant to fight and you decided to laugh it off, as per usual.

Meet Britain’s Mike Tyson – Freezy MacBones – who is smashing rivals with brutal power and impressing rapper 50 Cent

BRITISH boxing may have a modern day version of Mike Tyson coming through the amateur ranks.
Preferring to go by his ring persona Freezy MacBones, the 31-year-old is poised to turn pro – and he has already enjoyed a stunning audition.

Freezy MacBones is happy with the comparison to Mike Tyson

MacBones made people sit up and take notice a couple of years ago with a viral KO

The 31-year-old Ghana-born boxer left his opponent flat on his back

A trial fight was arranged by a promotional company, wanting to see what the Brixton-based slugger was all about.
He went in the ring against a man significantly bigger, but soon had him knocked spark out with his head resting on the bottom rope.
That came in 2019 – and now the Ghana-born bruiser is ready to make his first steps into pro boxing.
The light-heavyweight told Sky Sports: “Everything was cool until he hit me hard.

“A week later I’ve seen the video, 50 Cent, [Floyd] Mayweather, everyone was posting it. It was crazy.
“Everyone was asking, who is this guy? That’s how it happened.”
And on comparisons with the a certain American known as ‘The Baddest Man On The Planet’, MacBones added: “I like it. I’m happy they call me Britain’s Mike Tyson.
“Let’s put joking aside, that’s what I asked for and I have it.”

MacBones has trained with Anthony Joshua

The Brixton brawler, 31, has a peekaboo style – just like Tyson

MacBones showed off his strength when he met Joshua

Tyson was described as having a ‘peekaboo style’ of boxing, using the angles and ducking in and out – something MacBones clearly follows judging by his training clips.
And of course there was the stunning 44 KOs in 56 fights that made him one of the most-feared heavyweights of his time.
MacBones moved to London from Ghana four years ago – but has already created a menacing aura about him.
He has shared clips of him in the gym with current WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight champ Anthony Joshua.

MacBones added: “A lot of criticism comes to you. How did this guy lose six? He’s not Mike Tyson, he’s not that.
“Amateur is a foundation. It’s the foundation of boxing before you turn pro. If you don’t have any amateur record or history, how can you become a good boxer?
“I use my losses to motivate me to become who I am. It makes me savage, an animal.”

And the bout will shortly be confirmed with a full undercard that could include Teofimo Lopez.
SunSport understands veteran pair Holyfield and 54-year-old Tyson, with a combined age of 112, have been in talks over a trilogy fight since January.
The £200million-plus epic rematch is set for the Middle East this year, with Dubai the most likely country to play host.
Tyson is eager to fight again after his November comeback against Roy Jones Jr in Los Angeles.

And after fielding offers from some of the richest places on earth for his follow-up, it looks like a third clash with Holyfield will be announced soon.
The American heavyweights went toe-to-toe twice in the past, with Holyfield winning the thrilling November 1996 original with an 11th round stoppage.
The rematch, seven months later, is one of the most infamous in history after Tyson was disqualified for biting off a chunk of the Real Deal’s ear.
Holyfield was the original opponent Tyson had in mind for his comeback last year.

But the deal fell through, allowing Jones Jr to step in to scrap.
Holyfield and Tyson will want to earn out of the huge US market, so it is likely they will hold an early-morning fight in the Middle East just like the UFC.
That would be prime-time viewing for American audiences, allowing the pair to land a massive site fee from the hosts and maximum scope in the PPV market.
