Floyd Mayweather given £11,000 Topps Chrome card of two other ‘GOATs’ Kobe Bryant and LeBron James for his 44th birthday

FLOYD ‘MONEY’ MAYWEATHER isn’t short of means with which to treat himself.
So for his birthday, it really is the thought that counts.

YouTubers the ‘Wooter Boys’ met with Floyd Mayweather to give him a £10,000 gift

Mayweather received an ultra-rare Topps chrome card featuring NBA legends Kobe Bryant and LeBron James

And when he recently turned 44 last month, YouTubers the ‘Wooter Boys’ treated Floyd to a super rare Topps chrome card featuring NBA legends Kobe Bryant AND LeBron James.
The amazing collector’s item featuring two of the greatest players to ever play in the NBA is thought to be worth around $15,000 (£10,800).
After giving the card to Mayweather, one of the gifters urged him to look after it, saying it could be worth $100,000 within ten years.
To which Floyd replied: “Can I let LeBron sign it?”

Mayweather is a fan of the NBA, was regularly seen courtside at games and has previously outlined his intention to own a franchise one day.
And when he was snubbed by the Associated Press for their Male Athlete of the Decade award in favour of the LA Lakers star, he admitted that he ‘loves’ LeBron… despite being annoyed at not winning.
He told Drink Champs: “I love LeBron James, but when we’re talking about Athlete of the Decade, that’s me. That’s me. Hands down.
“We talking about from 1996 to 2020 and I’ve never received Athlete of the Decade. At the top of Forbes and I’m my own boss.”

Mayweather hung up the gloves with a perfect 50-0 professional record in 2017, after beating Conor McGregor.
But he has since returned for an exhibition against Tenshin Nakusawa, and is set for another busy year.
Already set to face YouTuber Logan Paul, who lost to KSI in 2019, SunSport exclusively revealed that he could also face the internet star’s brother Jake.
But only if the younger Paul bro can overcome MMA fighter Ben Askren.
Triller chief Ryan Kavanaugh told SunSport: “For the right price we would definitely do that. If Jake wins this fight it makes a big difference.
“He would have beaten one of the best fighters there is, he may not be the best boxer, we don’t know, but he’s a real fighter.

Tyson Fury’s dad John PRAISES Jake Paul for trolling son Tommy and says Love Island star would fight YouTuber next

JOHN FURY said son Tommy would fight Jake Paul next – and praised the pair for their online trolling.
John’s other son, WBC heavyweight champion Tyson, started the feud after he called on Paul to fight the Love Island star.

Both men then took aim at each other online, with Tommy using girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague’s wig to imitate Paul.
It came after the YouTuber, 24, had mocked Tyson’s half-brother with a British accent and said he looked like the Gypsy King’s ‘s***’.
Paul’s antics have won the praise of John, who admitted he wants Tommy, 21, to fight the social media sensation in the future.
He said: “I’m enjoying a bit of a joke with Jake Paul. We hope to get him sometime in the future.

“We’d probably take him next if we can get him. But they’re just pipe dreams at the minute.
“I thought Tommy’s thing with the wig on was great.
“Jake Paul, equally as good, we’ve enjoyed a backwards and forwards with these two, it’s going to be a great.”

Tommy Fury donned a blond wig to tell Jake Paul to ‘stick to YouTube’

Tommy recently improved his record to 5-0 and is lined up for a swift return to the ring in April.
His promoter Frank Warren gave the green light for the unbeaten light-heavyweight to face 2-0 Paul.
But the veteran matchmaker is still not convinced by the standard of boxing Jake and his brother Logan, as well as Brit KSI, bring to the ring.
Warren told SecondsOut: “The YouTubers, what I’ve seen of them, the ones I’ve seen, wouldn’t win a Southern Area title.
“They’ve not got the experience for it. They do their best, I mean I’ve only ever seen one YouTube fight and it was what it was.
“It was two evenly matched guys, who probably wouln’t get a liscence. Wouldn’t win an ABA.

“Having said that, Jake Paul, what do I think of that? I think Tommy Fury will knock him completely spark out.
“I dont see any other way that goes. Would I get involved? Absolutely, there’s going to be no risk for Tommy.
“But it doesn’t mean I think any differently.
“As I say, these guys at their level, they’re doing what they do, good luck to them, they’re earning a lot of money.
“My only prefix about it is that I feel thats not what top boxing is.”

Tommy Fury fight with Jake Paul backed by Eddie Hearn who claims ‘I’ve seen many worse pros’ than YouTuber

EDDIE HEARN has backed a fight between Tommy Fury and Jake Paul and admitted he has seen many worse pros than the YouTuber.
Tommy’s older half-brother Tyson started the online feud after he called on Paul to face the Love Island star.

Frank Warren has given the green light for the fight and even opposing promoter Hearn is all for it.
He told iFL TV: “I like Tommy Fury against Jake Paul. Personally, I don’t mind.
“Jake Paul is putting the work in. And I’ve seen many pro fighters that are worse than Jake Paul.”
Hearn promoted Paul’s debut in January 2020, which he won against online rival ‘AnEsonGib’ in round one.

The internet sensation, 24, followed in up with a savage knockout against ex-NBA player Nate Robinson, 36, on Mike Tyson’s undercard in November.
His third bout comes on April 17, against retired UFC welterweight Ben Askren, 36.
Tommy, 21, meanwhile improved his record to 5-0 with a recent KO against 0-9 journeyman Scott Williams.
Afterwards WBC heavyweight champion Tyson kickstarted the war of words with Paul.

Derek Chisora and Joseph Parker set to headline PPV on May 1 with title fights and Chris Eubank Jr on stacked undercard

DEREK CHISORA and Joseph Parker are set to headline a bumper pay-per-view card in May, Eddie Hearn confirmed.
It could also feature a stacked undercard with world title fights and the return of Chris Eubank Jr.

Promoter Hearn revealed he planned for Josh Warrington to main event on box office on May 1 against Japanese star Can Xu.
But after Warrington, 30, was stunned into his first defeat by Mauricio Lara, 22, plans for a summer super-fight are now off, with a rematch instead targeted.
It opened the door for Chisora, 37, to instead face Parker, 29, and to make up for the non-title PPV fight, Hearn plans to beef up the chief support.
He told iFL TV: “I don’t want to give too much away but there is three other world championship fights, two big British names as well.

“I mean it’s a special card that we’re putting together. But there’s quite a lot to do on it and we’re running out of time.
“So, I want to get it finalised this weekend before I go back to Texas next week for Chocolatito-Estrada.
“If we can pull off what I’ve got in front of me on the pad, which is my notes, then it’ll be a really special night.”
Chris Eubank Jr, 31, has not fought since December 2019, but recently left American stable PBC for promoter Kalle Sauerland.

Sauerland has worked together with Hearn in the past, paving the way for Eubank to potentially feature on Chisora and Parker’s PPV undercard.
Hearn said: “I’d like to try and get Eubank on the May 1st card with Chisora and Parker and everybody else. We’ll be talking about that.
“He hasn’t boxed for quite a long time but I think there’s some big fights out there for him once he gets his return out the way.”
Chisora and Parker recently agreed to fight on FaceTime, with the pair yet to settle their score dating back to October 2018.
Parker pulled out with a freak injury after being bitten by a SPIDER.

Chisora went on to instead face and beat David Price, 37, before challenging ex-cruiserweight king Oleksandr Usyk, 34.
Usyk, Anthony Joshua’s WBO mandatory challenger, beat the veteran Londoner but only after some tense opening rounds.
Kiwi Parker, a friend of Tyson Fury’s who was beaten by AJ in 2018 and Dillian Whyte a year later, has won his last four.

Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul’s exhibition fight to break PPV record ‘by a long shot’ and be the richest of all time

FLOYD MAYWEATHER and Logan Paul are looking to break the pay-per-view record ‘by a long shot’ – making it the richest fight of all time.
Mayweather retired as the undisputed box office king, selling 29million PPVs during his iconic 50-0 career.

His 2015 points win over Manny Pacquiao smashed the record with 4.6m sold, with his fight against UFC star Conor McGregor two years later coming in at 4.4m.
Both made close to £700m in revenue – but Solomon Engel, Founder and CEO of Fanmio, who are bringing Mayweather out of retirement, expect to topple those numbers.
Engel told SunSport: “We do see it breaking the record. We have projections which I don’t want to comment on but we do see it breaking the record.
“I can tell you we are very bullish on beating that number and possibly by a long shot.

“We have already sold a great deal of PPVs, which is kind of unheard of early on.
“We are already seeing success in that area and between who the two fighters, between how we handle distribution we do see it breaking the record.”
Mayweather, 43, has not fought as a pro since 2017, when he beat UFC star Conor McGregor, 32, in ten rounds.

He did come back a year later, taking out featherweight kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa in round one of their exhibition.

But he faces his most underqualified challenger of all time in Paul, 25, who lost his pro debut to internet rival KSI, 27, by split-decision in 2019.
The social media sensation does take in a sizeable FOUR STONE and six inch height advantage – but loses out in every other department by astronomical measures.
So it comes as no surprise that Mayweather jumped on the opportunity after promoter Engel put forward the ring novice as a lucrative opponent.
He said: “Floyd had no reaction to his size or weight. He had no concern or worry about Logan’s size in this fight.
“Logan was the first real opponent that we said let’s explore.
“We have a lot of talk about different things for the future, but initially this one was what was proposed.”

The PPV spectacle has been hit with criticism, as pound-for-pound king Canelo Alvarez labelled it a ‘lack of respect’ to the sweet science.
But Engel is quick to remind fans anything is possible in a sport that takes just one wrong move to end it all.
And he argues the new wave of boxing fans following Paul into the unprecedented challenge will only benefit the business.
Engel said: “Boxing is a sport, and just like any other people are welcome to play it or play in it.
“I think this is healthy for boxing and I think the people that are against this type of fight is because it’s a little bit different and it’s not traditional in terms of the background of each fighter, Floyd and Logan.
“Really all that’s different is that Floyd is the undefeated, undisputed world champion and Logan is new to the sport, but very determined.
“Yes, there is a record difference between the two but ultimately it two people competing against each other in sport.”

Jake Paul reveals he got into boxing after YouTube rivalry and details pre-fight routine of yoga and meditation music

JAKE PAUL has revealed he turned to boxing to settle online feuds with YouTube rivals ‘like men’.
A third professional fight for the American, 24, is on the horizon after victories in each of his previous contests.

Former MMA fighter Ben Askren will prove a tough test after TKO wins over ex-NBA star Nate Robinson and YouTuber AnEsonGib.
Fighting his online rival in January 2020, while brother Logan faced KSI, was a step into the unknown for many but Paul found the experience invigorating.
And he has explained to SunSport how the Manchester Arena bout gave him a taste for boxing.
Paul said: “So a while ago, a bunch of YouTubers were sort of talking s*** back and forth to each other.

“And instead of just talking online, we were like, Let’s fight. Let’s settle this, like men.
“And so I fought actually Deji who is from the UK, and my brother fought KSI. And we sold out the whole entire Manchester Arena.
“And that’s really where this all started was from: YouTubers talking s*** to each other and deciding to put on boxing gloves to see who actually would win.
“It was a bit scary. They were a bit scary, but you know, the people there were obviously not rooting for us as we’re United States.

“So it was definitely an interesting experience and there were probably 20,000 people booing me when I was fighting.
“So I had to overcome that. But the arena was beautiful. And we went to like some after party after the fight. And that was fun.”
While some commentators have criticised Paul’s move into the ring, several pros want a piece of him.
Although a tirade to lure Conor McGregor into a fight proved unsuccessful, he could soon have a new opponent in Tommy Fury.
Such contests have demanded Paul create a professional regime and he detailed his calm approach pre-fight.
The online star added: “Honestly, I listen to yoga and like meditation music before I fight.

If you’re getting all hyped up before you fight, you’re just wasting your energy that you’re going to need it potentially, in the fight.
    Jake Paul

“I don’t like to really expand, expand my energy. It’s all about staying calm.
“You know, when I get into that ring, I’m not all ramped up. I know exactly what I’m here to do.
“I’m a robot. I embody everything like a robot, no emotions. I’m here to do a job and execute it and get it done.
“And if you’re getting all hyped up before you fight, you’re just wasting your energy that you’re going to need it potentially, in the fight.”

Claressa Shields makes history as first four-belt undisputed champion in two weights after dominating Marie-Eve Dicaire

CLARESSA SHIELDS made history by becoming the first four-belt undisputed champion in two weights.
The Stateside star dominated Marie-Eve Dicaire over 12-rounds, headlining an all-women pay-per-view card in Michigan.

Shields retained her WBC and WBO light-middleweight titles, but won Dicaire’s IBF belt and picked up the vacant WBA version.
At 25, she has now reigned as a three-division champion, winning all-four undisputed straps at light-middle and middleweight.
No fighter has held all the marbles in two separate weights in the four-belt era, capping off a historic night for Shields.
She said: “At the end of the day, I am the new undisputed champion at 154, first boxer in history to do it, undisputed twice.”

Shields, a two-time Olympic gold medalist, is quickly running out of opponents to face.
So much so, that she is set to debut in MMA with PFL in the summer, and has even been asked about fighting Katie Taylor.
Ireland’s Taylor, 34, is also undisputed champ at lightweight, but campaigned only as high as light-welterweight.
Shields started her career at super-middleweight, meaning there is naturally TWO STONE difference between the pair.

But with the American now set at the 154lb light-middle division, she is tempted to move as low as 147lb to make welterweight.
It would mean again moving up for Taylor, and for her promoter Eddie Hearn to offer Shields at least $1million, to compensate for the drastic weight loss.
Shields said: “Katie Taylor is not the worry, the 147 is. Katie is a great fighter.
“They gotta pay me a lotta money for me to lose my butt to go down to 147.
“At the end of the day, I’m a woman, and that’s something I love about my body.
“I don’t have no big breasts but I got a nice butt, and I would lose that going to 147. They need to come with that dough, at least with a million.
    “Talk to me nice.”
Despite wiping out the competition with ease after only 11 fights, Shields has a ready-made rival in Savannah Marshall.
Marshall is the only one to EVER beat Shields, a 2012 upset in the amateurs and is now the WBO middleweight champion.
But Shields said: “Savannah Marshall can’t f*** with me. Let’s keep it real. Savannah Marshall, you won a lucky decision when we was kids.
“I was 17. Also, London was hosting the Olympics. She knows. If you wanna blow about you beating me eight points to 14, come on now.
“Then you let me become champion in three different weight classes and you’re pro? Make it make sense.
“Savannah Marshall knows she cannot and will not ever be able to f*** with me.

“She can come to America, I can go to the UK, we can go to Mexico, wherever Savannah Marshall wants to go, I will f*** her up.
“Literally. She knows that. She’s scared of me. I’ve been wanting smoke for years. Savannah Marshall can get it.
“Tell Eddie Hearn, he came with that wack ass $250,000, he better come with $500,000, $750,000 if he wants me to come over there and smoke his girl.”
