Former four-weight world champion Mayweather was one of the few fans in attendance that night at London’s Wembley Arena and was caught on camera mouthing instructions to AJ.
And according to Joshua, The Money man was telling him to pump his jab into the face of the Bulgarian bruiser.
He told JD Sports: “When I put my hand up there I could hear Mayweather, ‘Jab, jab champ.’
“That’s when I kind of acknowledged him.”

Joshua, 31, was honoured to have the boxing hall of famer in attendance for his latest title defence.
In a video on his YouTube channel, he said: “It was the first time we were allowed fans back in stadiums and Mayweather was in the stadium.
“It’s an honour to have him in the house, I respect him highly for what he’s achieved.
“He came to see me perform and I pulled out one of his favourite moves which is the pull counter.

Mike Tyson says he’s ‘so lonely’ in California without his kids and pals as boxing legend opens up on lockdown struggles

MIKE TYSON has revealed how lockdown in California has left him feeling ‘so lonely’ and longing for a full-time return to Las Vegas.
The 54-year-old returned to the ring after a 15-year absence in November to battle out a memorable draw with Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition bout.

Iron Mike revealed it was impossible to turn down the ‘$100million offered’ to get back into the ring.
He is now believed to be in talks with Evander Holyfield over another money-spinning exhibition bout against the man he was infamously disqualified against in 1997 after biting a chunk out of his ear.
Tyson continues to train and keep in impressive shape while based in California, and away from the ring he is also raking it in.
He has been selling cannabis products since 2016 through his Tyson Holistic label that are as potent as one of his uppercuts.

He plans to supplement that business in California, more specifically in pioneering cannabis city Desert Hot Springs, with his mega Tyson Ranch.
However, he still has a home in Seven Hills, Nevada, and with his family and friends spending most of their time there, he admits he is feeling loneliness.
Speaking to UFC president Dana White on his Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson podcast, the Baddest Man on the Planet opened up about his life in California.
He said: “I wanna go back to here, California got me so lonely over there.

“I’m working out and everything but I mean it’s lonely.
“I need to be here playing with my kids and chilling out with them. I’m really lonely out there.
“It’s not like here, where we’ve got our friends and neighbours.”
The former heavyweight champ has been married three times, with his first wife being Robin Givens, although the marriage ended after a year.
The Deseret News reported that after the divorce, Tyson admitted he was the father of Mikey Lorna and that Kimberly Scarborough was the mother.
Tyson married Monica Turner and they had two kids, Amir and Rayna with the icon also considering her oldest daughter, Gena, as his own, according to The New York Times.

After they divorced in 2003, Tyson’s girlfriend, Sol Xochitl, gave birth to two kids, Miguel Leon and Exodus.
Heartbreakingly Exodus, passed away from an accident when she was only four-years-old.
He married his third and current wife Lakiha Spicer in 2009 and the couple have two children together, Milan and Morocco.
Recently it was claimed the legend would have been ‘killed’ if he intervened in an argument between Boosie Badazz and Tyson’s daughter, the rapper boasted.
Badazz, real name Torrence Hatch, has been accused of transphobia over comments against Zaya Wade, the trans daughter of NBA hero Dwyane Wade.
Following the row, which the 38-year-old refused to apologise for in an appearance on Tyson’s podcast, which led to the former champ’s non-binary daughter confronting him.

As part of his trip to Mexico Mayweather, who celebrated his 44th birthday recently, also enjoyed some acrobatic dancing.

Then the mood turned a bit livelier as The Money Team enjoyed some live music at the picturesque location.
Mayweather is back on the punchbag ahead of his planned boxing fight against YouTuber Logan Paul.
The pair were scheduled to meet in the ring on February 20 – but that got postponed.
However, they have insisted it will happen this year – and Mayweather is keeping fit ahead of it.

Mike Tyson was ‘super p***ed off’ on day he had to fight a SHARK leaving whole filming crew terrified

BOXING legend Mike Tyson was so ‘p***ed off’ about ‘fighting a shark’ that he left the entire film crew scared.
In August last year as part of Discovery Channel’s Shark Week, the former heavyweight boxing champion took part in a very special underwater challenge.

Mike Tyson was told how he would win his ‘fight with the shark’

Soon the shark, like many of his former opponents, was asleep

Tyson, who struck fear in every opponent in the ring, looked to have finally met his match as he took on a series of tasks involving the fierce predators.
Speaking on his Hotboxin’ podcast, the 54-year-old boxing icon was joined by UFC chief Dana White, who helped get him the shark gig.
Tyson joked: “He gets me a job on shark week, he really cares about me, Dana really cares about my well-being.”
Then White explained how Tyson’s mood wasn’t the best on the day of the dive.

He revealed: “I got you a TV show, I got you Shark Week, so he had to go down and swim with these sharks
“And I heard the day he had to go and swim he was super p***ed off and the whole crew were scared that day because Mike didn’t want to get in the water with the sharks.
Tyson added: “They came over and the boat started rocking and I thought I was going to get boat sick.
“I’d rather the shark eat me out of the cage.”

Tyson admitted he was scared to do the dive

Tyson ended up putting a shark to sleep by tickling its nose while scuba diving – but only after throwing up and admitting he was ‘scared to death’.
Iron Mike was pitted against the shark over three rounds, dubbed “Tyson vs Jaws”.
And it ended with him achieving ‘tonic immobility’ – a temporary state of inactivity in the shark.
The first part of the challenge saw Tyson cage-diving with lemon sharks.

In the second round the ante was upped with an open ocean dive where he had to push the sharks gently away if they got too close.
By the final stage Tyson threw up before diving nearly 50 feet underwater without a cage.
He had to grab a shark and try to induce tonic immobility, which he did by grabbing its nose as it swam past him.
Tyson, who made his boxing comeback in December with an exhibition draw against Roy Jones Jr, travelled to the Bahamas for the challenge.

Mike Tyson blasted UFC boss Dana White for telling him not to fight at 54 and says he couldn’t turn down $100m pay day

MIKE TYSON rang up UFC president Dana White and roasted him for blasting his comeback fight last year.
The Baddest Man on the Planet, 54, came out of retirement to take on Roy Jones Jr, 51, in an exhibition in November.

The highly-anticipated bout at the Staples Center in Los Angeles ended as a draw with no knockouts allowed.
Despite many youngsters being excited at the prospect of getting to witness one of the greatest fighters ever climbing back into the ring, many mocked Iron Mike and the whole event due to his age.
White has one of those to publicly criticise and mock the showdown after hearing the rules, saying: “They’re not allowed to knock each other out?
“How do you enforce that? I’d like to bet that doesn’t happen. Can you bet on that?”

He also hit out at the veterans being allowed to compete again due to their age – however he soon changed his tune after a phone call from the former world heavyweight boxing champ.
White was a guest on the Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson podcast, and he explained: “Somebody asked me at a press conference about it and I said ‘I don’t like it, I don’t want them to do it, this and that…’
“Then he called me and was like: ‘Listen man, we’ve been friends for a long time but I’m a grown ass man, if I wanna fight I’m gonna f***ing fuck! Don’t be f***ing negative about my fight.’
“And I said ‘you know what, you’re right. You won’t hear a f***ing peep out of me again.’

“Then when I watched the fight I thought he looked really f***ing good.”

Tyson then chipped in, saying: “Forget that though and listen to this.
“I’m 54 and they are going to give me $100m fight and you think that I’m going to say no?
“That’s more than I got fighting for championships!”
White replied: “I love the guy but I just have this thing when you get to a certain age it is tough to perform at a level you did when you were younger.
“There’s no reason… he can make money anywhere and doing anything.
“But, he’s not wrong and I will admit it, when you get offered that sort of f***ing money, it’s hard to turn down to do something you’ve been good at your entire life.”
White also sent Tyson wild as the UFC boss bet $1m on Jake Paul to LOSE to Ben Askren in their upcoming boxing fight – before the YouTuber doubled the wager.

Paul, 24, has a perfect 2-0 professional boxing record and takes on retired UFC welterweight Ben Askren, 36, in his next fight on April 17.
But appearing on Tyson’s Hotboxin’ podcast, the UFC president vowed to put his money where his mouth is.
White said: “I hope you can bet on this thing because I will bet $1m (£720,000) that he loses this f***ing fight.
“I bet a million dollars that he loses this fight!”

And boxing icon Tyson was loving it as he whooped, laughed and clapped at the prospect of White stumping up the cash.
White – who admitted to being a ‘degenerate gambler’ and once lost a $1m boxing bet – added: “Let’s be honest, Jake Paul isn’t a f***ing boxer.
“This guy is a f***ing YouTube kid.
“The kid he’s going to fight is a decorated wrestler who has fought real guys, he’s been a world champion with another organisation.”

Paul beat AnEsonGib in his pro debut in January 2020 with a first-round TKO and backed that up by knocking out ex-NBA star Nate Robinson in November.
And former boxing champ Zab Judah had The Problem Child’s back after seeing him in training.
Responding to White on the podcast, Judah said: “Dana I watched him, he’s been working hard, Dana. I have seen him put it together.
“He’s got hands. I am not joking.”
The video quickly made its way to Paul and he immediately challenged White to double his money and for both men to put $2m on the line instead.

The YouTube star shared a video responding rather dramatically to the original clip on Instagram – throwing a head off a statue and then running out on to the street before calling out White for a fight.
He wrote: “Dana let’s double the bet up! $2 Million. We wire the money into escrow.
“$4 million total. Winner takes all. My team will be in touch to make a contract.
“After I knockout Ben, we can set up Jake Paul vs Dana White 2021 since you consider yourself a ‘Boxer’ and me a ‘YouTuber,” before finishing it off with a clown emoji aimed at the UFC chief.

Anthony Joshua undisputed fight with Tyson Fury in doubt AGAIN as Oleksandr Usyk begs WBO to enforce mandatory shot

ANTHONY JOSHUA and Tyson Fury fighting for the undisputed crown could be in doubt again – with Oleksandr Usyk wanting his mandatory title shot.
Joshua, 31, and Fury, 32, are almost set to announce their Battle of Britain, with contracts close to being finalised.

And it looked as though, for the first time in heavyweight history, all four WBC, WBA, WBO and IBF belts would be contested for.
That was after Usyk, 34, agreed to step aside and fight Joe Joyce, 35, for the WBO ‘interim’ title in the meantime.
But now the Ukrainian’s promoter Alexander Krassyuk claimed talks have not progressed and wants the WBO to enforce AJ to fulfil his mandatory.
Krassyuk told Sky Sports: “If AJ vs Fury is not likely to happen this year, or is rescheduled until the end of the year, AJ has to make a mandatory defence against Usyk unless he relinquishes the title.

“The WBO has to gather strength and to make the courageous decision – to order AJ vs Usyk. And that will be the triumph of justice.
“Otherwise boxing will accelerate its decline in popularity due to unfair and preconceived politics.”
Usyk received a letter from the WBO in January, which stated their intentions to allow Joshua to face Fury.
And the interim title fight would put him either next in line for a shot or inherit the title if it was to be vacated.

FREE BETS: GET OVER £2,000 IN SIGN UP OFFERS HERE

But Krassyuk appears to believe talks for Usyk to fight Joyce have not moved forward since he first spoke to promoter Frank Warren’s son George.
He said: “Usyk cannot make any move as there’s no certainty around.
“Usyk is doing well, safe and sound, fit and working hard. And is ready to face whoever the WBO legally nominates.
“But my last conversation regarding Joyce took place in the middle of January.
“I talked to George Warren. Since that time, we have hardly moved anywhere.”
Despite the reveal, Adam Moralee of SJAM Boxing – who manages Joyce – assured negotiations with Usyk are ongoing with his manager Egis Klimas.

Moralee said: “I can confirm that SJAM are in conversation with Egis Klimas about the Usyk vs Joyce fight.
“The management teams of the fighters get on well and talks are progressing.
“Frank Warren is looped in across all matters as Joe’s promoter of record.”
Joshua’s goal has always been to become the first four-belt, heavyweight champion.
But his promoter Eddie Hearn warned if all the marbles could not be on the line against Fury, they will still proceed with the fight.
Hearn, alongside the Gypsy King’s US backer Bob Arum, both confirmed discussions are entering the final stages before being announced.
But as yet, no date or venue has been nailed on, though amid the coronavirus pandemic, it is likely to be staged abroad.
