Director Berg and film star Wahlberg are partners in the company, with Sam Katkovski, acting as Prograis’ main manager.
Wahlberg is a life-long fight fan and received an Oscar nomination for his portrayal of Micky Ward in the 2011 classic The Fighter.
But his hectic schedule leaves him unable to get involved in guiding Prograis’ career, though he always remains a supporter.
Prograis, 32, told SunSport: “He’s too busy being an actor to be honest, but Pete is more involved with my manager Sam.
“When I was in LA, Mark would come watch me spar and stuff like that.”
Berg, also a producer and writer, even has his own gym in Santa Monica.
And Prograis’ connection with the award winning director landed him a role in the 2020 Netflix movie Spenser Confidential.
It starred Wahlberg as wrongfully convicted police officer looking to expose corrupt cops, which Berg directed.

Prograis cameoed as a henchman on the receiving end of beatdown by co-star Winston Duke, who made his name in Black Panther.
The boxer is open to more roles on the big screen again, but only after he hangs up his gloves for good.
Prograis said: “I’ll do little things like that, but I really want to focus on fighting. I love fighting, it’s something I really love to do.
“I don’t want to be an actor right now. But, I have the connection I can do it, maybe once I’m done, maybe I’ll go down that route and be an actor.
“But you just never know how life’s going to turn out. I could say, ‘Yeah, I want to be an actor, or I want to do this’.
“But you never know how anything is going to turn out.”
Prograis became an instant favourite with British fans in October 2019, when he was narrowly beaten on points by Scot Josh Taylor.

The American is open to other acting roles after retirement
He returns on April 17 against Ukrainian Ivan Redkach, who is 23–5–1 and has shared the ring with Danny Garcia, Tevin Farmer and Devon Alexander.
The fight falls on the undercard of YouTuber Jake Paul’s pay-per-view headliner against retired UFC welterweight Ben Askren.
Prograis is set to benefit from the new wave of fans following social media star Paul, who is 2-0, in his boxing journey.
It gives him the chance to steal the show in front of a whole new set of supporters with a standout performance against ex-sparring partner Redkach.
Prograis said: “I think it’s a good fight, we’ve actually sparred before when I used to live in LA.
“I think it’s a real good fight for me and showcase my talent to the world.
“I go out there and do what I gotta do, for me I’m not worried about the crowd, I’m not worried about the audience I’m in front of.

“Of course I do want to put on a great performance because boxing is not just about winning, it’s about how you win.
“So of course I’d like to have a superb performance.”
Prograis stands to benefit from the PPV sales that he hopes Paul’s adoring followers will lap up.
And despite plotting a path back to the title, the American in the meantime is willing to settle for similar paydays coming his way.
He said: “For me, I want to be a world champion again but you never know where life will take you.
“I never thought I’d be fighting Ivan Redkach on Triller, I never in a million years thought that.
“Everytime, in my life personally, everytime a door closed another one always opened up.
“I want to be a champion again, but I always tell my manager the money and the belts are almost equally as important, but the money is just a little higher.”

Why is Whyte vs Povetkin 2 taking place in Gibraltar?
Whyte’s big rematch with Povetkin was originally scheduled to take place on March 6 in London.

Eddie Hearn promised he would make the fight happen, an

“In the current environment we are always having to think on our feet,” said Hearn.
“We did everything to try and make March 6 happen, but with the new travel restrictions it was impossible.
“Now we have something outside the box, compelling, and a unique setting for one of the heavyweight fights of the year – roll on the Rumble on the Rock!”
    What is the venue?
Whyte’s rematch with Povetkin will take place at the Europa Point Sports Complex in Gibraltar.
The event is expected to get underway from 7pm UK time, with the main event starting at 10.30pm.
There will be round 500 fans in attendance at the event. More

Mike Tyson predicts Tyson Fury will beat Anthony Joshua as ‘he is too elusive and AJ not gonna f***ing touch this guy’

And former undisputed heavyweight king Tyson reckons AJ faces an almighty task to land his devastating right hand flush on the fleet-footed The Gypsy King.
He told The MacLife: “You know I love f***ing Joshua. But Tyson is too elusive, he’s not gonna hit him.”
Iron Mike believes Joshua’s lack of speed, not Fury’s footwork, will ultimately be his undoing against the WBC titleholder.
He added: “Listen, we’re keeping it honest, right? I like Joshua. I like Joshua a lot, right?
“Maybe he punches harder than.. what’s the other black guy? Wilder. He doesn’t punch faster than Wilder.
“If he doesn’t punch faster than Wilder, he’s not gonna f**ing touch this guy. That’s just what I see.

“He punches hard, but he doesn’t punch fast. If Tyson Fury can get away from Wilder’s fast punches, Joshua might be in trouble.”
Tyson’s prediction for the fight comes just a few days after his former coach Teddy Atlas predicted Joshua to have a ‘blackout’ in the long-awaited Battle of Britain.
During a recent episode of The Fight with Teddy Atlas podcast, the 64-year-old said: “I think Fury could stop him.
“I like AJ, he’s a good fighter, he’s got good talent, he’s had a great comeback. I like all that.
“I’m not gonna say he has a China chin, I’m not gonna say that. But, I’m gonna say Fury has a better chin.
“And I’m gonna say he’s been to dark places when he got stopped by Ruiz. He being Joshua. He went to dark places.

“Now he found a light and he lit the room up and he’s back into a place that’s lit. I just don’t think he’s that far away from a power shortage.
“I think there could be a blackout again, where his confidence [goes].
“When I say the electricity, the light, I attach it to confidence, belief, mental strength and durability.
“I think that a blackout could happen in that generator of his again. He’s not far from removed from being taken back to no lights.
“So I’m going with Fury. And Fury, all the things he can do in the ring.
Teddy Atlas has tipped Tyson Fury to get the better of Anthony JoshuaCredit: Getty

“He showed me he can go get you now and he can box and pot shot and move.
“So I’m gonna go with [Fury]. Joshua can punch, Joshua’s a banger. He gets into position, but he’s going to have to get into that position.
“Because Fury is more versatile, Fury has more say because he can do more things.
“He can control the outside if he wants and not make it so easy for Joshua to get into his geography so to speak, which I like to talk about.
“But, it’s going to be a humongous fight.”

The proposed 50/50 clash would have seen the heavyweight rivals lace up their gloves at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on May 29.
But Holyfield’s manager Kris Lawrence appeared to throw cold water over the fight by branding negotiations “a waste of time”.
He said: “We thought this was a done deal but it quickly fell apart when Tyson’s people declined all offers.
“We were negotiating in good faith all along and it appears we just ended up wasting our time.”
I just want everybody to know the fight is on with me and Holyfield…I’m God’s man and listen, I’m going to be successful May 29Mike Tyson
Tyson however has admitted he fully expects the fight to be given the green-light once final formalities are straightened out.
The Baddest Man on the Planet, 54, even backed himself for victory at the third time of asking following successive defeats to Holyfield, 58, in the ’90s.
Speaking to Haute Living on an Instagram Live, he said: “I see that happening in the near future, me and Holyfield.
“Only thing we have to do is get some small fundamental differences [resolved], get some paperwork done and then it’s on to the races with me and Evander… I just want everybody to know the fight is on with me and Holyfield.

And AJ showed his preparation is going to plan with an Instagram post where the 31-year-old looked toned and powerful.
He captioned the snap: “My inspiration is my determination.”
Fans and fellow pros were quick to laud the Watford-born fighter’s physique in the comments section, including ex-footballer Jamie Redknapp.
Ring pal Peter Kadiru wrote: “Future undisputed heavyweight champion 🔥🔥🔥 big inspiration.”
One fan added: “That’s why you’re King 👑🌏❤️.”
A date and venue are yet to be finalised for the heavyweight battle, which is likely to take place abroad.
Joshua’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, has revealed a ‘strange’ bid to host the fight by an unnamed Asian billionaire.
He said: “I had an approach [on Wednesday], not from the Middle East, but it was the most bizarre approach.

“I can’t say who it was but it was from a very wealthy individual and he wants to do something very special.
“We’ve had 20 approaches for this fight but you know which ones are serious.
“This one was just well out there. And it’s a realistic option, money is not an issue with this guy. All I will say is it’s in Asia. Not Macau but not far away.”
Onlookers are already predicting the outcome of the summer clash, which is already signed for an eventual rematch.
Heavyweight contender Dillian Whyte recently stated that anything can happen when Joshua and Fury finally face off.
He said: “There’s a case for both guys winning this fight, I think. Both guys showed a lot of versatility in their fights.

“[Joshua’s] two fights with Ruiz and [Fury’s] two fights with Wilder – they’re the same guys but they’re different styles and different ways of getting the victory.
“It’s hard, only true fans of each guy will say, ‘This guy’s gonna win’. It’s very hard, I don’t think no boxing purist would say, ‘This guy’s gonna win because of this’.
“It’s hard to pick, in my opinion it’s a 50/50 fight.”

Despite scoring two impressive knockdowns, he was scorched in the fifth as his plans for an overdue crack at Tyson Fury went up in smoke.
Now the Gypsy King has signed a two-fight deal with Anthony Joshua, while Usyk and Joyce are thrashing out a fight to decide the WBO’s mandatory man.
But bullish Whyte has warned them all he has jetted out to Gibraltar to grab more than revenge.
When asked if the Mexican sanctioning body  should reinstate him instantly with a win on Saturday, he barked: “They better f****** acknowledge my position, I’ve waited long enough.
“The winner of this fight should be made the mandatory challenger.
“If you take into consideration how long I was ranked No 1 and how many top guys I beat, I should get the title shot in front of both of them.
“Who has Usyk beaten at heavyweight? Only Chazz Witherspoon and Derek Chisora and now Joe Joyce.”
