It came after he called The Notorious an ‘Irish c***’ and insulted his fiancee Dee Devlin earlier this year.
The viral callout earned the respect of Nurmagomedov’s manager Ali Abdelaziz – who himself has a bitter rivalry with McGregor.
Abdelaziz told TMZ Sports: “Jake Paul, I like this kid. You know why? Because he is real.
“When he talked about Conor’s wife, [Paul] said [McGregor] talked about Khabib’s wife. I like Jake Paul.
“I think he’ll beat the s**t out of Conor, Conor’s team-mates, all these guys.
“I like his brother too. Logan Paul, I like these kids, they make something from nothing. Even Mike Tyson likes these kids. Mike is my friend.”
Paul even went after UFC president Dana White in a desperate bid to entice McGregor back into the ring.

McGregor, 32, is set to face Dustin Poirier, 32, in July, and will look to avenge his recent defeat to the American.
Paul, 24, on the other hand is still celebrating going 2-0 after he knocked out ex-NBA player Nate Robinson, 36.
The YouTube sensation is due to fight MMA pro Ben Askren next month.

Manny Pacquiao should ‘ride off into the sunset’ against Floyd Mayweather or Conor McGregor, says ex-sparring partner

MANNY PACQUIAO has been urged to ‘ride off into the sunset’ with a deserved farewell fight against Floyd Mayweather or Conor McGregor. The Filipino icon is nearing the end of his illustrious career, which has seen him win titles in a historic eight divisions.

Two final fights have been touted before Pacquiao – who is yet to return since beating Keith Thurman in 2017 – makes a potential run in the 2022 Philippines election.
Mikey Garcia, 32, is in talks to welcome PacMan back, leaving room for someone else to share the ring with Pacquaio one last time.
George Kambosos, a trusted ex-sparring partner of the all-time great, called for his mentor to close out his career with a mega-money payday against Mayweather or McGregor.
Kambosos, 27, told SunSport: “I’d like to see him fight Mikey Garcia and for the last one, let him ride off into the sunset, if there’s a McGregor fight there or a massive money fight.
“Maybe even a Mayweather rematch or something like that, let him ride off into the sunset.
“He’s deserved to finish up his career, make as much money as he can because he deserves it. The guy’s been fighting the best for like three decades now.
“He’s incredible and the amount of world titles he’s won or world champions he’s ran through it’s crazy.”
Pacquiao, 42, and Mayweather, 44, spent five long years in negotiations before they finally agreed terms in 2015.

The long wait proved a blockbuster success, with a record 4.6million pay-per-views sold
But the action in the ring was less eventful, with Mayweather expertly boxing to a 12-round decision.
Pacquiao has always maintained he fought with an injured right rotator cuff and since campaigned unsuccessfully for a rematch.
With Mayweather in retirement after beating McGregor in 2017, the former two-weight UFC champ emerged as another lucrative option for PacMan.
Both are managed by Paradigm Sports and looked on course to share the ring this year.
That was until McGregor, 32, was knocked out by Dustin Poirier, also 32, in January.
The pair are set for a summer trilogy bout, putting the Irishman’s return to the ring on hold as he fights for his career in the UFC.

But Kambosos believes such is McGregor’s popularity, a super-fight with Pacquiao will never lose demand, no matter his circumstances in the cage.
He said: “McGregor is such a big name in the world, it doesn’t matter whether he’s coming off maybe five losses, he would still generate money and people will wanna watch him.
“I love McGregor, he’s great at what he does, he’s done amazing stuff for the UFC and it would be a great fight.
“Obviously Manny is an unbelievable athlete, super fast, but we saw glimpses of what McGregor can do against Mayweather.
“So, it would be a good fight, it’s all up to them, Manny would win but how the fight would pan out? That remains to be seen.”
Kambosos, who challenges for Teofimo Lopez’s undisputed lightweight crown in May, first linked up with Pacquiao in 2017.

He provided the speed needed to prepare PacMan to face Aussie Jeff Horn, which he later lost controversially on points.
Kambosos stuck around for Pacquiao’s fights with Lucas Matthysse and Adrien Broner – which were both won – and the sessions were box office.
He said: “People would have paid a lot of money to watch myself and Manny spar.
“We’re both super fast, super explosive, we move great, and will sit there and fight, take shots, give shots.
“It was back and forth action and great for my experience and to end up doing like 250 rounds with the guy, I sit back and say, ‘Well, what’s Teofimo Lopez going to do to me?’
“It’s nothing that I haven’t seen already, or felt in the trenches with a guy like that.”

Inside Manny Pacquiao’s £7m Manila mansion where boxing star had to isolate after partying with a coronavirus victim

BOXING legend Manny Pacquiao’s £7million mansion oozes luxury and features a huge dining table and swimming pool. The Filipino fighter is plotting his return to the ring and could probably afford to add another wing to his house if he can down Terence Crawford.
The impressive Manila pad was purchased in 2012

Mikey Garcia is also an option for a contest in May as the 42-year-old sets up a comeback contest.
A match-up with Conor McGregor was also touted last year, when Pacquiao found himself in a spot of pandemic bother.
Koko Pimentel, a Filipino senator and leading figure in the country’s ruling party, was seen at the residence in the Manila borough of Makati last spring, shortly before testing positive for coronavirus.
Pacquiao, now also a senator in the Philippines, was sent a letter that instructed him and his family to self-isolate.
Pacquiao’s property on the outskirts of the capital city has been his home since 2012, when he bought it for £7m.
The amazing mansion, which features a tennis court, pool and large dining room, is also home to his wife Jinkee and their five children.
The property features a large swimming pool
Pacquiao is arguably the Philippines’ most famous son
    Many rooms overlook the pool

Errol Spence Jr has also been floated as a possible opponent for the ring king, although Pacquiao’s strength and conditioning trainer, Justin Fortune, believes such a fight would be one sided.
He told SunSport: “Spence is a great fighter and a good champion, but he’s not the same guy that he was before, not at all.
“We saw that when he fought Danny Garcia. Everyone raves about how hard Spence punches, well Danny Garcia came through 12 rounds.
“Danny Garcia also never pulled the trigger that night, or else Danny would probably have beaten him, I think. You put Spence in there with someone like Pacquiao now, Pacquiao obliterates him, even at 42-years-old.

And the 32-year-old will have plenty of time to focus his mind and relax away from the rigours of training with his new arrival.
Fury’s new purchase, which will soon be followed by his and wife Paris’s sixth child, arrived courtesy of North East company Infinity Hot Tubs.
SunSport understands that the WBC champion opted for ‘The Summer Breeze’ model, which is available for £4,995.
And it is a whole lot more than just bubbles, with the company describing the model as ‘the ultimate Family spa Packed with Technology!’

“Big shout-out to Infinity Hot Tubs for delivering me this absolutely fantastic hot tub. Check out their website for more details.”
And SunSport also understands that the fan-favourite will soon be receiving another delivery from Infinity Hot Tubs.
Fury has ordered another model for his Morecambe-based gym, near the town’s football stadium, to help him relax as he prepares to try and earn undisputed glory against AJ.
Fury and Joshua have been locked in talks to face-off in an all-British heavyweight unification showdown this summer.
WBC heavyweight king Fury, 32, recently vented his frustration at the contracts not being signed – claiming he had stopped eating and training while drinking up to 12 pints of lager per day.

Some were worried it would put his blockbuster bout with AJ, 31, in serious jeopardy.
But now the fight has finally been CONFIRMED with the two Brits going toe-to-toe twice later this year in a deal worth a staggering £200million.
However, a couple of key details missing from the fine print were where and when the huge clash would take place.
Saudi Arabia appears to be a front-runner, while Eddie Hearn has previously said the US, Dubai, Qatar and Singapore are also options.

However, the Matchroom mogul has now revealed he’s been taken back by an 11th-hour offer from a wealthy individual in the Far East.
Ideally, all parties involved with Joshua vs Fury are keen for fans to attend what’s been deemed the biggest fight in British boxing history.
There are still Covid restrictions in place in the Middle East, however, springing the possibility that the fight could be delayed until November time.
Hearn says the individual from said mystery country, will want fans in attendance too, even if it were just 1,000 spectators.

Dillian Whyte demands Alexander Povetkin stay away from him in case fight build-up spills over and turns into brawl

DILLIAN WHYTE demanded to be kept away from Alexander Povetkin ahead of their Saturday night rematch in case the build-up spilled over into a Gi-brawl-tar.Before the 32-year-old Brixton ace clashed with the Russian in August, they spent a week cramped into the same Brentwood Holiday Inn.

Alexander Povetkin has had to keep away from Dillian Whyte, meaning he was not allowed on the Brit’s yachtCredit: Mark Robinson Matchroom Boxing
Whyte lived in a motorhome on the grounds – to almost comedic effect – to avoid bumping into his rival over breakfast.
But, after suffering a shock KO loss, he refused to let his nemesis aboard the Sunborn yacht his team has taken over for the Rumble on the Rock, and had Povetkin packed off to a local hotel.
Promoter Eddie Hearn revealed: “He wants to hurt Povetkin, for the first fight Dillian was in his Winnebago, he was all friendly, we played a bit of cricket.
“He doesn’t want that now. He has told me he doesn’t want to be around Povetkin, he doesn’t want to be bumping into him and saying hello.
“It was a bit awkward last time with the Holiday Inn but we had no choice.
“I wouldn’t say he got too comfortable, but when you have come from nothing and started making a load of money, and life changes, he is probably not as nasty as he was coming through.
“I think he has flipped a switch in the build up to this one. He is a bit shorter with people, he has that kind of mentality again.”
Hearn insists he was misquoted recently and clears up where a second consecutive defeat would leave his man.

IF Dillian Whyte loses then his world title dreams COULD be over forever… realistically, another loss is catastrophic, back-to-back defeats.Eddie Hearn
The Matchoom chief admits he will be out of the heavyweight world title scene until 2023 if he suffers a ‘catastrophic’ second loss to Alexander Povetkin on Saturday.
The Brixton ace lost his mandatory position for a shot at Tyson Fury’s WBC belt with the Essex defeat and Hearn – now working on a two-fight deal for the Gypsy King and Anthony Joshua that will tie up the belts for another year – admits defeat in Gibraltar is almost unthinkable.
“IF Dillian Whyte loses then his world title dreams COULD be over forever,” he said.
“That’s a really big if, but if he does lose then he will not get a title shot in 2021 or even 2022.

“I think, realistically, another loss is catastrophic, back-to-back defeats.
“But I think it is good pressure to say ‘If I lose, I am f*****’”.

Derek Chisora questions whether Dillian Whyte will have same ‘violent instincts’ to KO Povetkin after first fight loss

DEREK CHISORA has questioned whether Dillian Whyte is bold enough to repeat “maximum violence” tactics in his Alexander Povetkin rematch – after suffering a one-punch KO first time out.Whyte twice floored Rusian Povetkin, 41, and was on top… until his sudden destruction in the fifth round of their August encounter.

And fellow British heavyweight Chisora believes Whyte will be in a “Catch 22” situation – caught between his instincts for explosive assertiveness and his memories of Povetkin’s pulverising power.
Whyte, 32, makes his revenge bid in Gibraltar on Saturday.
And although Chisora tips the Brixton bruiser to win, he believes Whyte will be wary.
Chisora told The Ringside Toe 2 Toe podcast: “Dillian will be in a Catch 22, because first of all he talks like he’s going to bring maximum violence.
“He will want to go violent on this guy and in the back of his mind he’ll remember the knockout, and then he’s going to try and play safe.
“I see Dillian winning it, but how he wins it, I don’t know yet.”
Chsiora’s promoter, former world champ David Haye, has already warned Whyte that Povetkin’s single-blow sign-off was no fluke.
Haye previously told Sky Sports: “That left uppercut that he threw knocked out Carlos Takam, in a very even fight, in a very good toe-to-toe fight.

“It’s a shot that he throws regularly. Derek was telling me when he sparred with him, he was getting hit with that shot, so it’s one of his shots, and to get hit with someone’s best shot isn’t very lucky is it.
“The guy has got a big shot. It’s like getting caught with Dillian Whyte’s left hook.
“You know it’s there if you can practise to go under it, if you throw your right hook to the body or not, or you can stand up and get knocked out.”

The WBC heavyweight champion of the world lives in a five-bed, four-bathroom home that is worth around £550,000, according to Zoopla.
Fury has had plenty of time to enjoy his home comforts over the last year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
He made the fading seaside town his permanent home in 2011, and has since become its most famous resident with crowds flocking to see him train on the beach.
Speaking on a three-part ITV documentary, the 31-year-old said: “People say to me ‘why don’t you live in California or America?’ – why would I?
“Why would I abandon my own country for a bit of money and some fame?
“I love it. I would never leave Morecambe. It’s true beauty. If the weather was better, every house here would be a million quid.”

Before he amassed what is now thought to be around £100m following one of the greatest sporting comebacks, Fury lived in a caravan on his dad John’s land.
But now has is the king of his own castle along with wife Paris and their five children.
Inside the family home are links to the profession he will go down in history for.
Just next to a glass column holding the multitude of belts the heavyweight has won in his career is a framed picture of him after his win against Wladimir Klitschko on the wall.
That victory was regarded as one of the finest successes for British boxing – but he might have beaten his own claim following his latest triumph over Wilder in February 2020.

There won’t be any household rubbish lying around the house for too long – despite reaching the pinnacle of his profession, Fury is happy to roll his sleeves up and take out the rubbish.
But there are definite luxuries he can enjoy too.
Parked up are a Ferrari and Rolls Royce. But it is a mode of transport closely linked to his heritage that the 6ft 9ins powerhouse prefers to focus on.
Fury also recently had three 75-inch £800 Samsung Smart TVs delivered to his plush pad.
The heavyweight giant will be sure to kit out his house with the latest technology in the future after signing a whopping £200million two-fight deal with rival Anthony Joshua.
Away from the ring, Fury has restored and customised a gypsy wagon that he proudly treks through the streets – after spending over four years renovating.

Speaking about the four-wheeler, Fury said: “[It’s] real gold, gold leaf, all hand-painted.
“The Gypsy code says you must travel towards the sun, so we keep the sun towards the back.”
Quietly going about his life, Fury has participated in charity work for children’s hospitals, offered help and advice to aspiring boxers and supported local businesses.
