In preparation, Hall uploaded videos of his training, but was hit with criticism by UFC commentator Rogan.
But he responded on his YouTube channel: “I love Joe Rogan, I absolutely do love Joe Rogan
“Look man, people can speculate, they can make assumptions, they can guess, they can do whatever they want, but I’m knocking Thor out.
“There’s no doubt in my mind. So, people can say whatever they want.
“I take no offence to Joe Rogan’s comments. He’s an experienced guy, he knows what he’s talking about, but he doesn’t know the full picture.
“You look at a few clips, you can’t make assumptions from that.
“It doesn’t bother me in the slightest, it doesn’t put me off. I hope it gives Thor more confidence, because he needs it.
“He’s in deep trouble. And I’d still love to go on The Joe Rogan Show and tell him a story for everyone to hear.”

The response comes after Rogan and and guest, CrossFit legend Mat Fraser, watched some footage of Hall’s recent training.
He said: “That’s not good. Right away we’re seeing that we have a real problem. Yeah, this is terrible.
“He’s very rudimentary, but also you see that his body is very stiff. Looking at him sparring there, he’s just not moving so good
“This is super stiff. He’s throwing these punches with his arms. These are arm punches, almost like he shouldn’t be hitting things.”

They were initially signed to fight on February 20, but a new date has not yet been announced.
It has given Paul more time to prepare for what most would consider mission impossible.
And giving the social media sensation a helping hand is unbeaten star Garcia, who has also launched his own YouTube channel.
In his latest video, he visits Paul’s Los Angeles mansion, where he trains out of, with a ring in his back garden.
And in the video, the pair are seen discussing tactics and sparring each other.
At one point, Garcia, 22, says: “You’re bigger. Push me, There it is.
“When you get your ground back, be strong. And then you go right back to it.
“You’re a way bigger dude, he’s not going to knock you out with one punch.”

Paul, 26, has boxed only twice before, both against online rival KSI.
The first was a draw in a white collar bout in 2018, but when the two turned professional a year later, KSI, 27, won by scrappy split-decision.
He is yet to fight since, and the leap from fighting fellow novice KSI to all-time great is an unprecedented one.
Mayweather, 44, closed out his career officially in 2017, stopping ex-UFC champion Conor McGregor, 32, in ten rounds.
But he returned a year later for an exhibition in Japan, wiping out featherweight kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa in just two minutes.

Fury, 32, is currently preparing for a blockbuster undisputed heavyweight title fight with unified champion Anthony Joshua.
The first of two fights – which were agreed last June – is expected to take place in the summer.

He said: “We always had a time frame in place in the agreement that everybody signed.
“That can be extended but it’s not the intention to extend it and we are all working to that time frame.
“Really, I think by end of next week it will be done.

Conor Benn reveals secret weapon ahead of Samuel Vargas showdown – his 13-year-old training partner Beau

CONOR BENN is banking on old-school training methods taking him to the top of the welterweight class. The 24-year-old son of British ring legend Nigel prefers brutal early-morning road work along freezing Southend Pier to the new-age HIIT classes in every trendy, warm gym.
Conor Benn has been hard at work in training alongside 13-year-old Beau MacDonald
Benn is aiming for 18th career win at the SSE Arena in Wembley on Saturday
And he has a secret weapon in 13-year-old training partner Beau MacDonald, who has chased him into shape for Saturday’s clash with dangerous Colombian Samuel Vargas.
After meeting SunSport at the crack of dawn, Benn said: “Sports science has moved on so much now and not everyone wants to get up before sunrise for long runs.
“But, for me, it is the mental aspect of it that is important.
“It’s not always about how far you go or what time you do it in, it’s the fact that you have the desire to drag yourself out of bed to do it.
“I started this camp at the beginning of January and Beau — who is one of the best runners in the country for his age —— has been with me from the start, going two or three times a week.
“I get up at 5am to drive down to where he lives and get the miles in.
“Our fastest time for five miles in this camp has been 31 minutes — and Beau more than plays his part in that.”
Benn will have Beau to thank if he earns 12th knock-out win against Vargas
Victory at the weekend could set-up bout with Amir Khan or Kell Brook
Before the impressive step-up win over German Sebastian Formella in November, 24-year-old Benn gave an emotional interview in which he cried over being kept apart from his Australia-based family and missing his little sister’s birthdays.
But in Southend United academy prospect Beau, he has found a surrogate sibling who makes him run fast and laugh hard.
Benn said: “We are competitive. It’s a bit like a big-brother-little-brother rivalry.
“But I am also always there for him as well because this new generation coming through has a tough time.
“Beau has been doing these runs and then going to school straight after, he’s an incredibly dedicated boy and he’s really been pushing me.
“No-one can make me laugh the way he does, especially not at 5am in the morning on freezing cold runs next to the sea.
“Sometimes he comes out with things beyond his years and Richard, The Sun’s photographer, has even grabbed some shots of me laughing, which doesn’t happen very often.
“But having someone young and fresh running with me makes it exciting and fun.”
Here’s how the two fighters compare ahead of the showdown
Depending on how hard trainer Tony Sims has been pushing Benn in the gym, the beach runs range from 5km dashes to hour-long challenges.
Word on the seafront is Beau occasionally has the beating of the 17-0 Destroyer.
But the Essex ace — who is after a huge domestic battle with 10st 7lb veterans Amir Khan or Kell Brook — claims looking after the next generation is all part of his throwback mentality.
He laughed and said: “I wouldn’t get carried away and say he beats me. I let him grab the occasional draw to keep his morale up.
“There’s not an ounce of fat — or even much muscle — on him yet, he just seems to glide along, which really pushes me.

“My times have absolutely improved by having him on my heels all the time and pushing me. When the fight comes around, moments before, during rounds when it’s getting tough, I will know that I have not been complacent, I know I have cut no corners.
“Running might be seen as a bit old-fashioned and not as cool as the high-intensity stuff you can do in gyms and online now.
“But all the great old fighters did their road work and that is good enough for me.”

Ruiz Jr weighed in over a stone heavier for his second fight against AJ as he ballooned to over 20 stone.
That was to be his last bout with Manny Robles in his corner, as he linked up with Saul Alvarez’s trainer Eddy Reynoso last year.
And he is looking in great shape, with the Mexican-American already shedding over three stone for his comeback dust-up against Arreola.
Speaking during a virtual press conference, the Destroyer revealed he is taking competing more seriously now as he looks to become a two-time world champion.
He told Fight Hub TV: “Losing from my last fight against Anthony Joshua, it was devastating, because I did not do the things that I was supposed to do.
“I look back right now and I’m like ‘Damn, if I would’ve stayed dedicated, if I would’ve stayed disciplined and do the right things that I was supposed to do…’
“And that was the most important fight of my life… but now it’s totally different. Now I got my mind right, I got a great trainer, so we’re just ready for May 1.”
Before adding: “I’ve always been overweight and now that I’ve been dropping weight normally and in the right way by eating right, not just wearing the sauna suit, starving yourself.

“Because that’s what I used to do back in the day. But now that we’re eating the right things, we’re working on the right things, I feel amazing.
“I can do better stuff that I couldn’t do before because of my big gut, I had chi-chis, I had t**s that wouldn’t let me throw the right punches and all that.
“But now I’m more motivated, I’m more dedicated in this sport and sky’s the limit.”

Ben Askren says it’s ‘almost impossible to tell’ if Jake Paul is a good fighter as ‘level of his competition was so low’

But those have come only against online rival ‘AnEsonGib’ and ex-NBA star Nate Robinson.
His biggest challenge comes on April 17, against retired UFC welterweight Askren.
And the former Olympic wrestler admitted he is still in the dark about what to expect, having seen Paul untested in his boxing career.
Askren, 36, told The Metro: “We haven’t seen anything.
“The level of his competition was so low that it was almost impossible to tell if he is actually good at this.
“If there is one thing people respect about all fighters it’s the toughness to deal with adversity in battle and we have not seen that out of him.
“I don’t think he was hit hard by either one of those guys. They were so incredibly terrible at boxing. So we haven’t seen anything out of him yet.”
Askren was considered one of the best talents outside of the UFC before he finally signed with Dana White in 2018.

He divided opinions due to his wrestling-based style, and hung up his gloves after just one win and two losses in the UFC.
But as Askren heads into his unprecedented boxing match with Paul, 24, he finds himself in an unusual position – as the more popular headliner.
He said: “I didn’t realise how much people didn’t like Jake Paul until I tuned in and started listening to what people were saying about him.
“At best for me, it’s like 50 percent positive comments and 50 percent negative comments.
“That’s my persona. But everyone freaking hates Jake Paul.
“One of the things you have to realise about prize fighting is that the more recognition and scrutiny you can bring to yourself, the faster you are going to move up the ranks.
“When you look at the job, you have to look at all parts of the job. Is part of the job being good at fighting? Absolutely.
“But a part of the job is also figuring out how to promote yourself so you can advance much quicker.”
