      But the Gypsy King taunted ‘one day left’ as their agreement deadline drew closer.
      The heavyweight champions signed a two-fight deal in March, and promoters gave themselves a 28-day period to have a venue and date set in stone.
      But as this weekend’s deadline approached, Fury twice referenced on social media that the clock is ticking.
      In his latest, he wrote: “One day left.” Accompanied by three alarm clocks.
      But AJ was quick to assure fans himself, his management group 258 and Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing are still in talks with the opposition.
      He tweeted: “Quick update. Myself, @258mgt & @MatchroomBoxing are working really hard to make the fight happen.
      “I want to give my fans what they want & you know I’ll do whatever I can to deliver. Hoping to share some positive news soon.”
      The post got more than 8,900 likes. But hundreds of fans piled on in the comments asking what is the delay.

      Eddie Hearn recently confirmed the deadline is not a deal-breaker, and various mega-money site deals are being laid out to both camps in the coming days.
      He told SunSport: “It’s a self-inflicted deadline from both teams that we agreed that should give us enough time to secure it.
      “Both teams will have the options presented to them this weekend, so there will be discussions early next week.
      “We’ll say, ‘We like that one’ or, ‘We’d like a bit more money’. All these different things are yet to be discussed.
      “We’ll work together and say well this is the option, let’s go.
      “We’re very close and we’re around the numbers which I think gets this done. I think once it’s presented, I think we’ll be fine.”
      Fury has vowed to chin AJ if the pair do meet.
      And the Gypsy King is in excellent shape despite wife Paris forcing him to have a Chinese takeaway.

      As reported by Pop Culture, she said: “I mean, I remember when I reached out to one of the connections we had at Instagram, and they were like, ‘We have not seen a page get this many reports at once in a really long time.
      “My page is probably one of the top reported pages out there, I’d say, 100 percent.”
      She then returned to the social media site in January along with a cheeky caption on her first photo.
      Acknowledging her ban, Rose posted: “Let’s try this again….”
      In the three months since re-joining Insta, she has already accumulated 365,000 followers.

      As well as her antics at the World Series baseball game, Rose is also known for being a star of American reality TV show ‘Are you The One?’.

      The 24-year-old is looking to extend his unbeaten start to his fighting career, but will have to beat a legitimate combat sports star for the first time if he is to do so.

      The eclectic robe was a mix of brown and red, with the words ‘Funky Ben Askren’ on the back of it.
      Speaking on Instagram, he said: “Boxer or Pimp??? 😂😂😂 @coinflipatm you guys rock.”
      One follower reacted to the post by saying: “Give us the funk!!!”
      And another added: “That robe is a thing of beauty.”
      Askren, who is an accomplished wrestler, is making his debut as a professional boxer after crossing over from MMA where he boasts a record of 19 wins and two defeats.
      He is probably best known for being knocked out in just five seconds by Jorge Masvidal in July 2019.
      Meanwhile, Paul has had two pro contests, winning both of them by knockout against fellow internet star AnEsonGib and basketball player Nate Robinson.
      But Askren insisted earlier this week that it is impossible to tell whether Paul is a good boxer.

      “I don’t think he was hit hard by either one of those guys. They were so incredibly terrible at boxing. So we haven’t seen anything out of him yet.”

      BOXING champ Floyd Mayweather is set to fight Henry Cejudo in his next bout.The retired UFC star tweeted the news in the early hours of this morning, describing Mayweather as an ‘Olympic bronze medallist’.

      There will always be speculation about Mayweather’s future after he retired from professional boxing in 2017 with an unbeaten 50-0 record.
      But rumours have escalated during the last week after the 44-year-old posed with UFC chief Dana White on Instagram, posting the caption: “We’re working on a huge deal!”
      And now Cejudo is claiming he will fight the boxing icon, posting a mocked up image of the two with the caption: “It’s going down! The Triple C Vs The Olympic bronze medallist.”
      His comment is in relation to the bronze medal Mayweather won at the Atlanta Olympics in 1996 before he turned professional, disregarding his outstanding boxing record.
      The American won world titles at five weight classes and defeated many legends, including Oscar De La Hoya, Ricky Hatton and Manny Pacquiao.
      Cejudo, meanwhile, is an Olympic champion, winning the men’s freestyle wrestling at the 2008 games.

      It is unclear whether the fight will be a boxing match, although that would be a safe bet considering Mayweather’s reputation in the ring.
      And it is likely to be an exhibition as Cejudo has never boxed professionally.
      The 34-year-old, who has won countless medals in professional wrestling, is a former UFC flyweight and bantamweight champion.

      Cejudo’s tweet about the potential bout was mocked by many as current UFC star Belal Muhammad responded with laughing emojis.
      Mayweather has fought one exhibition since his retirement, embarrassing MMA star Tenshin Nasukawa in their 2018 scrap.
      He is set to fight Logan Paul later this year, despite the YouTube star being SIX inches taller.

      Taking to Twitter on Friday night, the Gypsy King said: “Just had some big news – three or four big offers on the table.
      “Interest from Saudi Arabia, my gypsy brothers in Qatar, Uzbekistan, Russia, America, England.
      “There’s some big, big offers on the table.
      “I’m going to go through them on Sunday and hopefully we get this big fight on and let me smash this big dosser, big useless dosser let me say.
      “Because when I get him, I’m going to give him that,” finishing the video raising his clenched fist to the camera.
      Joshua also took to social media on Friday evening to confirm he is doing all he can to get the show on the road.

      The Twitter posts came just hours after SunSport revealed the two men are ‘very close’ to finalising the unification fight – with Eddie Hearn ruling out a delay until December.
      There was a 28-day period to get logistics sorted after signing the two-fight contract in March which expires this weekend.
      WBC king Fury’s outspoken father John claimed this week that neither AJ’s promoter nor his son’s American counterpart Bob Arum is anywhere near to confirming a showdown.
      But AJ’s promoter Hearn assured the deadline is not a deal-breaker and instead deals for sites are being considered, as Fury confirmed.

      Both have dropped a significant amount of weight ahead of the fight, and Bjornsson took to Instagram to reveal his latest transformation.
      The Game of Thrones star – known as Thor – boxed in an exhibition against Irish cruiserweight Steven Ward in January.
      But Hall, who was hit with criticism of his boxing skills by UFC legend Joe Rogan, has remained unfazed.
      The Brit has undergone a drastic body transformation of his own, despite still eating 7,000 calories a day during training.
      He revealed he cut down to 25st 5lb in the summer.
      And that is still over two stone heavier than Nikolai Valuev, the heaviest champion in history.
      But punching legend Eric ‘Butterbean’ Esch weighed as heavy as 29st 7lb the night he fought Joe Siciliano in 2007.
      Hall would far outweigh the current crop of heavyweight stars, and his coach wants the former World’s Strongest Man to one day be among them.

      When Khan was a baby-faced 17-year-old he brought honour to Britain by winning a silver medal at the 2004 Olympics.
      He continued to bring even more kudos to this country by turning pro and then becoming a two-time world champion.
      Amir is unquestionably one of the most likable and talented fighters produced on this island and he has always respected his fans. He is media friendly, forever cheerful, available and helpful.
      Much admired for his philanthropy, he set up a foundation which provides large sums of money to charities in Asia and Africa, as well as at home.
      Khan strongly supports women who are the victims of violence, is an ambassador for the NSPCC and he allows underprivileged kids to use his state-of-the-art gym.
      In recognition of his services to his home town, he was awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Bolton.

      Yet despite all his benevolence, I believe Amir has now severely tarnished his image by agreeing, together with his wife Faryal, to take part in an excruciatingly bad eight-episode BBC reality show Meet the Khans: Big in Bolton.
      It goes out on Monday nights — and I have watched the first four while cringing in horror.
      It’s in the worst possible taste and only those who take some pleasure in seeing obscene ostentation will find it enjoyable.
      This is a vehicle for the Khans to flaunt their wealth and their shameless love of extravagance of the worst kind.
      Amir is filmed driving around Bolton in his red Lamborghini and lets it be known he has a Rolls-Royce in the garage — which he probably takes to the supermarket.
      There were scenes of the two of them relaxing on a luxury yacht he rented when they were visiting Dubai.
      There are constant shots of his lavishly furnished mansion — and Faryal is forever being shown in her bedroom wearing her bling and designer clothes.
      In this week’s programme, Amir was in a Mayfair jeweller deciding which £100,000 watch he should buy. He has let it be known he bought his son a £30,000 Rolex for his first birthday.

      Justifying his opulent lifestyle, Amir said: “The way I look at it, is that I work very hard for it.
      “I’m always one punch away from getting hurt, so I like to treat myself or treat my wife. But I do respect money and that’s one of the reasons I do a lot of charity work.”
      Faryal chimed in: “It’s not up to us to tell people what to think. But in the show we are completely honest.
      “We can’t really apologise for who we are. We’re going to be our real selves, whether anyone likes it or not.”
      Amir added: “I’ve watched a lot of these reality shows and I like them because it gets to the real person, what they are really about, what they are really like.”
      By criticising Amir, I now know what the person who shot Bambi felt like.

      He doesn’t seem to realise he hasn’t done himself any favours by displaying how filthy rich he is for the world to see.
      No doubt there are many of his fans who will have joined the millions that have lost jobs or even gone bankrupt due to the pandemic — and they won’t be too impressed.
