Both scaled 191lb (13st 6lb) but Paul, 24, looked significantly leaner than Askren, 36, who retired from the UFC in 2019.
The YouTuber took a swipe at his opponent’s physique, and revealed he will dedicate the fight to his bodyguard Shamir Bolivar, who sadly passed away this month.
Paul said: “I see a guy who’s underestimating me, I see a guy who is taking this as a joke and I see a guy who said, ‘I have to take a s***’ during the face-off.
“This is the last 24 hours we will all have to hear Ben Askren. This one means a lot for me, this one is for Shadow.
“I don’t believe he makes it out of two rounds; look at the guy, he has a beer belly so he clearly didn’t take training camp seriously.
“We all did the talking and the entertainment s*** but now it’s time to let the fists fly.”
Paul comes into his third fight with two knockouts in as many wins since turning professional in January 2020.
But his wins have only comes against online rival ‘AnEsonGib’ and ex-NBA star Nate Robinson, 36.

Despite the low-level competition, Paul faced the wrath of critics after he was asked to grade his skill level
He said: “I see myself as an elite fighter right now.
“A young prospect with a lot of motivation, a lot of hunger, and I think people see me as a shitty amateur.
So there’s a big difference and there’s a big gap in between where I’m actually at and what the general audience thinks.
But I’m excited again to show my ability on Saturday against Ben, who is a world class fighter.”

Jake Paul’s amazing £5m ‘Team 10’ LA mansion is for sale, as he wants to escape ‘chaotic’ California and focus on boxing

IT’S the end of an era.YouTuber/boxer Jake Paul has decided to sell his infamous Team 10 mansion in Los Angeles, as he aims to leave behind his “problem child era”.

Paul has lived at the huge property since he was 17, but is saying goodbye to the Calabasas compound and leaving California completely.
And he has good reason too. Paul, now 24, wants to focus on a career in boxing.
The internet personality is adamant that, if he is to start a new chapter, he should do away from the famous house.
“I’ve lived here since I was 17, and to leave it all behind is not easy,” he said in a YouTube video this week.
“This house is nostalgic, and this is probably one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make in my life.”

But he knows if he’s to become a “legitimate pro fighter”, it is for the best.
“Being in Los Angeles, there’s so many distractions, there’s so much going on, and it doesn’t really allow me to focus on training,” he said.
    Here’s what he’s leaving behind.
    FIT FOR A KING

The house boasts seven bedrooms and plenty of space for his car collection
Paul paid around £5.3m originally for the mansion
YouTuber Paul’s reasons for selling his home are to escape LA and focus on boxing
The home is where Paul records the majority of his vlogs – often seen in the backdrop is a massive spiral staircase.
It is believed he paid around £5.3million for the house, which has been the backdrop of his life for six years.
Not only was it where he shared loving moments in vlogs with girlfriends Erika Costell, Tana Mongeau and Julia Rose.
Paul also got into trouble with his Calabasas neighbours – due to noise complaints.
There were reported incidents of police being called after wild parties got out of hand.
According to TMZ, Paul even infuriated the Mayor of Calabasas Alicia Weintraub, who blasted him for having a party after he defeated Nate Robinson.
    FIGHT HUB
However, if there were any doubts about Paul’s dedication to his craft, this should eliminate them.
The life of a multimillionaire social media sensation has afforded Paul the luxury of turning his home into a boxing gym.

Paul also has a room with punch bags and weight equipment
Not only does he have a ring in his living room, he also has another outdoors in his back garden.
He also has a room attached to his home full of boxing bags, running machines and weight equipment.
And he will need all the training he can get, if he is to get his dream fight against Conor McGregor.
Paul ripped into the Irish UFC star in an astonishing rant – offering him $50million (£37million) for a fight.
He also had a dig at McGregor’s wife.

“My team sent you a $50 million offer this morning, $50 million cash, proof of funds, the biggest fight offer you’ve ever been offered.”

The life of bad boy Jake Paul, from sharing explicit content on YouTube to rowing with Zayn Malik and getting arrested

JAKE PAUL isn’t afraid of controversy. The YouTube vlogger/boxer was accused of sexual assault by Justine Paradise, which he has categorically denied, and called out Conor McGregor for a fight, including (perhaps foolishly) dissing Notorious’s missus.

Vlogger turned boxer Paul has made a £8.5million fortune
But that’s not even half of what the bad boy 24-year-old has done; also upsetting law enforcement, Zayn Malik, YouTube censors and the Mayor of Casablancas on his way to becoming an internet personality worth around £8.5million.
It’s any wonder he’s quitting LA and selling his £5million ‘Team 10’ compound to focus on his boxing.
Here’s just some of his bad boy misdemeanours…
    SEX SELLS
Over the years, Paul’s filmed pranks have gone viral – some causing controversy.
One particular incident violated YouTube’s strict age-restriction policies in a vlog titled ‘I lost my virginity’ back in 2018.
The video featured an explicit thumbnail showing a semi-nude photo of Paul and his then-girlfriend Erika Costell on top of each other.
YouTube clamped down on the clip and made it age-restricted, while Paul was also slammed for sharing inappropriate content with his young and impressionable audience.
As a result, Paul was forced to change the thumbnail to a more PC image of him and Costell clothed and not touching each other.

    SHAM MARRIAGE
    Suspicious much?
In January last year, Paul and fellow YouTuber Tana Mongeau were accused of faking a marriage for clicks.
The apparent nuptials happened in 2019 and featured on their social media accounts, but the wedding wasn’t legally binding and never officially recorded.
At the same time, Mongeau was also dating Miley Cyrus’s brother Noah.

    ZAYN
The former One Direction star was left fuming by Paul in early 2000 after a blazing row in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Malik and Paul were in town for the rematch between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury and were both staying at the Westgate hotel, when an argument erupted.
Their suites were opposite one another, and when Paul tried to talk to Malik – the ex-boy band singer reportedly responded rudely.
An upset Paul took to Twitter to tell all. “Almost had to clap up Zane from 1 direction because he is a little guy and has an attitude and basically told me to f*** off for no reason when I was being nice to him.
“Zane [I know] you’re reading this…stop being angry because u came home alone to your big ass hotel room hahaha.”
Malik didn’t respond, but his supermodel girlfriend Gigi Hadid stepped in and defend her man.
She replied: “Lol cause he doesn’t care to hang w you and your embarrassing crew of YouTube groupies…? Home alone with his best friends like a respectful king cause he has me, sweetie.”

Paul blasted Malik online, until the singer’s girlfriend Gigi Hadid stepped in

“Unbothered by your irrelevant ugly ass. Go to bed…”
The next morning, a foggy Paul revealed he was drunk during the altercation.
“Someone needs to take my phone when I’m drunk I’m a f***ing idiot”, he wrote.
    UNDER ARREST
Back in May 2020, Paul and a group of pals went for dinner at a Chinese restaurant in Scottsdale, Arizona near a shopping centre.
Earlier they had been participating in the George Floyd protests, before grabbing a bite.
The protestors made their way to Scottsdale Fashion Square, where some began looting the stores.
Paul and his pals made their way through the shopping centre and began filming the looting, which drew criticism on social media.

“We filmed everything we saw in an effort to share our experience and bring more attention to the anger felt in every neighbourhood we traveled through; we were strictly documenting, not engaging,” he later said in an apology.
Paul was charged with criminal trespass and unlawful assembly, both misdemeanour charges, for being in the shopping centre during the riot.
Months later, the FBI raided his Calabasas home before the investigation was closed.
    DISTURBING THE PEACE
Paul’s house parties are stuff of legend, according to guests. And the local authorities are never happy when they happen either.
Back in 2017, it was reported that neighbours of a previous home in Beverly Glen were meeting with city council members and police officials about filing a class-action public nuisance lawsuit against Paul.
That came after the social media star made his public address general knowledge and fans began to congregate outside, as well as multiples calls to cops regarding noise complaints and large gatherings.
And he also upset the Mayor of Calabasas Alicia Weintraub, when he threw a large party at his mansion last summer – with dozen of people attending without wearing face covers and masks.

Weintraub said: “They’re having this large party, no social distancing, no masks, it’s just a big huge disregard for everything that everybody is trying to do to get things back to functioning.
“It’s really just a party acting like Covid does not exist, it’s acting that businesses aren’t closed”.
Months later, in an interview with the Daily Beast, Paul called Covid-19 a “hoax” and said he believed “98 percent of news [about COVID-19] is fake”.

The Paul brothers’ amazing feud, from Logan rapping about sex with Jake’s girlfriend to Floyd Mayweather diss

NOW they’re both boxers, their war of words seems fitting.YouTubers Logan and Jake Paul rarely see eye-to-eye – and would give the Gallagher brothers Noel and Liam a run for their money with their sibling rivalry.

Jake, 24, once claimed Logan, 25, slept with his ex-girlfriend Alyssa Violet, and the latter boasted, “she used to be your chick, now she’s on my team” in a music video.
While Logan slammed Jake after he was arrested in a looting shame during a Black Lives Matter protest.
Jake has also called his older brother a “fake fighter” and labelled his prospective fight with Floyd Mayweather a joke.
Even the pair’s fans are at war with one another online – taking sides as ‘Jake Paulers’ or members of the ‘Logang’.
    BEDROOM SECRETS
Jake and stunning Alissa Violet were the glamour couple of the internet.
However, one day he kicked the blonde beauty out of the Team 10 mansion and their romance was over.
Both stars accused each other of cheating, while Alissa said Jake had physically and mentally abused her, which he denied.
And in a now deleted tweet, Jake accused Alissa of sleeping with Logan.
He wrote: “Yeah… and this time Im not being silent… Alissa f***** my brother… that’s why i kicker her out… oopsie I just told them the truth… Im done being the “bad guy”.

Later Logan added fuel to the fire in diss track ‘The Fall of Jake Paul’ rapping, ‘Uh-oh that’s Alissa Violet, used to be your chick. Now she in the Logang and you know she on my…’ as she stands next to him in the music video.
Instead of saying, ‘d***’, the pair point to his genitals before Logan sings ‘team’ with a wry smile to camera.
‘I LOVE HIM, BUT I DON’T ALWAYS LIKE HIM’
Last summer, Jake made headlines when he filmed looters robbing a shopping centre in Arizona following a George Floyd protest.
He was arrested and his home was later raided by the FBI, until he was finally cleared of any wrongdoing.
But Logan was scathing of his brother’s actions – in particular, for putting himself in that position.
“To be honest, this one is so f****** hard for me because I love the kid. I love him, but I don’t always like him. He’s my brother, he’s my family, he’s my blood.
“Sometimes I do not understand why he does the things he does as I’m sure he feels about me from time to time.
“Why he was inside of a mall that was being looted, I have no idea. I talked to him on the phone, he was at a dinner that was next to the mall.
“It was very unfortunate but very on-brand for Jake Paul to magically be seen at a looting site.”

Logan continued: “Here’s what I will say, and I feel like this goes without saying.
“While I condemn that he was at a looting site and stuck around long enough for videos to be taken to make it look like he was kinda hanging out, you are a f****** moron if you think my brother was actively participating in looting.”
    ‘FAKE FIGHTER’
Reports suggest that Logan will face off against Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition bout one day.
Jake, who is 2-0 in his professional boxing record and recently knocked out NBA legend Nate Robinson, has been critical of his brother’s career.
He believes Logan has bitten off more than he can chew by calling out the ‘Money Man’.
“My brother’s f*****,” he told TMZ Sports.
“It’s bad for the sport. I think it’s just for clout. My brother’s a fake fighter. I’m the real fighter.”

Logan has also challenged his little brother to prove who is the superior boxer.
Logan said on his YouTube channel: “I fully support Jake whatever drama he wants to stir or create, it really doesn’t bother me.
“Like, ‘Oh, you’re a fake boxer.’ Okay. Let’s box, because Jake is the kid that gets beat up by my sparring partners. That’s that kid.”

Neeraj Goyat set to make UK boxing debut in Aberdeen two years after he was due to fight Amir Khan

NEERAJ GOYAT is set to make his UK boxing debut in Aberdeen just two years after he was due to fight Amir Khan. The reigning WBC Asia welterweight champion was lined up to face Britain’s former world champion in Saudi Arabia in 2019.
Amir Khan and Neeraj Goyat were due to fight each other in 2019
But the Indian, 29, was forced to pull out of the bout after suffering serious injuries in a car crash.
Khan eventually faced Australia’s Billy Dib instead, winning by TKO in the fourth round.
However, Goyat is now back and better than ever, and is finally set to make his long-awaited debut on British soil in Aberdeen next month.
Along with Scottish boxer and promoter Lee McAllister, he will co-headline Let Battle Commence IV at the city’s Northern Hotel on May 29.
Goyat will co-headline Let Battle Commence IV in Aberdeen
And McAllister can’t wait for fans to finally see what Goyat is capable of on the night.
He said: “I’m a big fan of Neeraj.
“We had planned to bring him to the UK back in 2019, but when the opportunity to fight Amir was put on the table I just tore up the contract.
“Fighting Amir on an internationally broadcast event was a huge opportunity for Neeraj and I wasn’t going to stand in the way.
“To say I was gutted the fight didn’t happen is an understatement as the fans world-wide would have seen just how talented Neeraj is.
“So here we are two years later and finally we are going to have Neeraj fight on one of our shows and unlike when we were originally bringing him over, now our events are televised, so finally fans worldwide will get to see just what an immense talent he is.”

Daniel Dubois to fight Bogdan Dinu in first bout back after breaking eye socket in Joe Joyce defeat last year

DANIEL DUBOIS will face Bogdan Dinu in his first fight back since his crushing 10th-round TKO loss to Joe Joyce last year. The 23-year-old was heavily criticised and accused of quitting in his loss to Joyce back in November.
    Credit: The Sun
Dubois suffered a broken eye socket in the British, Commonwealth and European title fight with Joyce, who looks set to fight Oleksandr Usyk later this year.
But having recovered from his injury, Dubois is back as SunSport can reveal the London-born heavyweight will face Romanian Dinu on June 5.
Dinu, 34, has a record of 20-2, and is best known for his losses to ex-Anthony Joshua foes Kubrat Pulev and Jarrell Miller.
Pulev knocked Dinu out in the seventh round of their clash back in November 2019, while Miller destroyed him in four rounds on a Matchroom card in 2018.
The heavyweight veteran last fought in October, knocking out Frank Bluemle in two rounds, and is an experienced operator.
Dubois was hopeful of becoming a world champion in 2021, but his loss to Joyce set his plans for heavyweight domination back longer than he’d have liked.

After the Joyce defeat, Dubois shook his team up by switching trainers from Peacock Gym’s Martin Bowers to Mark Tibbs, who used to train Dillian Whyte.
Bowers remains as Dubois’ manager and advisor, but the No 10 ranked fighter with the WBO opted for a fresh face in the corner ahead of his return to action.
“I believe I can bring something to Daniel’s game,” said Tibbs told Boxing Scene earlier this year.
“I can add some seasoning to his game and make him a different fighter. I’m confident in that, and it won’t take too long.”
Dubois’ clash with Dinu will likely take place in London and DDD is confident of getting back to winnings ways.
Dubois will return on June 5Credit: The Sun
He said: “I am excited to be back in the ring on June 5 after the frustration of being kept out of the gym and doing what I love to do for a number of months after my last fight.
“This is my chance to remind people of what I am really about, which is winning fights in a devastating fashion.
“I don’t need to make any excuses for the Joe fight because everybody could see the issue with my vision, but Joe won fair and square and we move on.”
“Time is on my side but I don’t intend to slow down my progress and I am more than happy to be returning to the ring in a big title fight that puts me right back in the picture.”
“I respect Dinu and accept that he could provide a tough test, but I can only see one outcome and that is me leaving the ring with another major championship belt for my collection.”

Watch moment Tyson Fury FLOORED by Steve Cunningham in New York but picked himself up to fight on like vs Wilder

TYSON FURY has proven time and again he is a man who will just not stay down. The Gypsy King is unbeaten in 31 fights, with just one blemish on his record, a 2018 draw against Deontay Wilder.

Tyson Fury got up from the floor and beat Steve CunninghamCredit: Action Images – Reuters
That night Fury – who was only two fights in during his sensational comeback – was twice floored by Wilder.
But each time he got back up to fight on, and in the eyes of many was unfortunate not to win the WBC title on points.
In the final round, a three-punch combination looked to have laid out Fury, until he miraculously rose to beat the count.
It left those watching on stunned – but it is not the first time he has hit the deck, brushed himself down, and boxed on.
Fury made his US debut in 2013, when he travelled to New York to face former cruiserweight champion Steve Cunningham.
In round two, disaster struck as the visiting Brit moved off with his hands down and was nailed with a looping hook over the top.
Clearly not as ferocious as Wilder’s right hand in Los Angeles, but still Fury was on his backside.
Amazingly, as he did with the Bronze Bomber, the 6ft 9in switch-hitter retaliated with pure aggression and ended the round on top.

Fury eventually closed the show in the Big Apple against Cunningham, battering him on the ropes before a right hand finished the job.
And despite his 12th round heroics against Wilder, 35, he would have to wait until the Las Vegas rematch to enact revenge.
But he did so in fine fashion, dropping the American twice before beating him into submission in round seven in February 2020.
It has set him up with an undisputed title decider against long-time rival Anthony Joshua.
Fury, 32, and Joshua, 31, are both being presented with site deals to host their lucrative unification.
