And now the undefeated 50-0 fighter has announced via his Instagram that the US cities in the running to host the event are Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Dallas and Atlanta.
He also asked his social media following where they feel it should be held, adding: “Where do you guys think the fight should be?”
Rapper and huge boxing fan Snoop Dogg immediately responded with a one word comment which read: “Vegas.”
Mayweather vs Paul was supposed to be held on Saturday, February 20, but the fight was postponed.
It was rumoured that the reason for the postponement was a lack of interest, however Logan Paul denied that that was the case.
Claiming the decision was down to ‘business complications’, he said: “The Mayweather fight is pushed [back] which I am completely OK with.
“The fight’s still happening [but] we want to have a packed arena somewhere and then the business side of things, we have to iron them out.
“He’s got a lot of people on his team, [his advisor] Al Haymon got involved, if you know boxing, you know what that means for getting an actual deal done and figuring out a venue.

“I need as much practice, training, sparring under my belt against this guy. With every day that goes past I get better and he gets older.”
Meanwhile, Mayweather spoke back in February about the postponement, insisting he wanted to wait until they could get 80,000 people in the new Raiders stadium in Las Vegas.
The 43-year-old said: “We’re gonna do Logan Paul, and we pushed it back because we want an audience, we want to bring 80,000 people to watch.
“We’re trying to do it at the Raider’s stadium in Vegas for 80,000 people.”
The Allegiant Stadium is the home of NFL giants Las Vegas Raiders, which opened up last year after just under three years of construction.
Paul was beaten on his professional debut in November 2019 after he lost to fellow internet star KSI by split decision.
He has not fought since, but his brother Jake moved to 3-0 at the weekend after knocking out ex-UFC star Ben Askren.
The younger of the Paul brothers, 24, needed less than one minute to finish off his opponent in stunning fashion.

See, this has to stop. @jakepaul is not some scrub. He’s a pro now. Askren, even though he’s a @ufc fighter, is a grappler. Not a boxer. So why was he even in the damn ring? From now on, Paul needs to fight an actual boxer. He’s gonna hurt any non-boxer.— Stephen A Smith (@stephenasmith) April 18, 2021

The 36-year-old was dropped three times during his crushing defeat to YouTube sensation Paul, 24, back in November.
But Stephen A. Smith has claimed Robinson could be looking for revenge on the social media star and has enlisted the help of Floyd Mayweather.
As reported by TMZ Sports, he said: “Nate walked out the arena [on Nov. 28 and] realized he was not trained well.
“[He] apologized for not listening and collected a little over $2million for that fiasco. He’s fine.
“They are trying to get him to fight in a rematch, if you can believe that. Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather wants to train him, if he agrees. Crazy but true.”

But Smith later took to Twitter to insist that he wants Paul to face a professional next following his latest win over Ben Askren.
He wrote: “See, this has to stop. (Jake Paul) is not some scrub. He’s a pro now. Askren, even though he’s a (UFC) fighter, is a grappler. Not a boxer.

Paul moved to 3-0 after he knocked former MMA star Askren out inside round one on the weekend.
And afterwards Tyson Fury heaped praise in the YouTuber calling him fantastic for boxing.
But rather than a rematch with Robinson, Paul has seemingly set his sights on a bout with the Gypsy King’s younger brother Tommy.

Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul date: When will the fight take place, what TV channel and live stream will it be on?

FLOYD MAYWEATHER and Logan Paul have agreed to take part in one of the most bizarre boxing matches in history. The 50-0 Money Man has defeated Conor McGregor and Tenshin Nasukawa in his last two fights, but an exhibition against YouTube sensation Paul could be the strangest yet.

Here’s what we know about the fight so far.
When will Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul take place?
Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul was supposed to be held on Saturday, February 20, but the fight was postponed.
It was rumoured that the reason for the postponement was a lack of interest, however Logan Paul denied that that was the case.
Claiming the decision was down to “business complications”, he said: “The Mayweather fight is pushed [back] which I am completely OK with.

“With every day that goes past I get better and he gets older.”
If the reason for the postponement is to ensure the fight takes place in front of a full stadium, then a date of later this year is feasible.
US states such as Florida and Texas, where Canelo Alvarez vs Billy Joe Saunders will take place, are already allowing sports venues to host events at full capacity.

What TV channel and live stream will Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul be on?
In February, Logan Paul incorrectly claimed that Al Haymon had announced the fight would be on Showtime in the US.
However, the network did broadcast Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor stateside.
Both Mayweather vs McGregor and Logan Paul vs KSI were shown on Sky Sports Box Office in the UK, so that could well be the channel for any eventual fight between Mayweather and Paul.
However, no UK broadcaster has been announced for the potential fight yet. More

And he piled on even more pounds, after enjoying the lifestyle that comes with being world heavyweight king, for his rematch defeat to the Brit in December 2019.
It defeat remains his last appearance in the ring, but that changes on May 1 when the 31-year-old meets Chris Arreola in California.
Ahead of the fight, Ruiz Jr has switched up his training regime and shed two stone in comparison to his AJ loss.
The Mexican-American weighed in at 268lbs when defeating Joshua and 283lbs in their December 2019 rematch.
But, after a fresh image of the fighter was released by PBC/Fox, via Michael Benson, Ruiz Jr is down at 257lbs as the fight draws into view.
Should he get back into winning form, a potential showdown with Dillian Whyte is on the cards – as revealed by SunSport earlier this month.
Ruiz Jr will face veteran championship contender Arreola in confident mood having revamped his training routine.
He told Fight Hub TV: “I’ve always been overweight and now I’ve been dropping weight normally and in the right way; by eating right, not just wearing the sauna suit, starving yourself…

Ben Askren slams Triller event against Jake Paul as ‘oversexualized’ and glorifying weed amid Snoop Dogg appearance

BEN ASKREN has ripped into Triller’s ‘oversexualized’ production during his defeat to Jake Paul. The former UFC welterweight was wiped out in the first round of his boxing match with the YouTuber last Sunday.

The ex-UFC star was also unhappy with the glorification of weed from stars like Snoop DoggCredit: Getty Images – Getty
Man this isn’t child friendly entertainment.— Funky (@Benaskren) April 18, 2021

Askren’s opponent Paul, 24, rose to fame on social media and brought a lot of young eyes to last weekend’s event that featured as much boxing as it did musical performances and drug references.
And ahead of the main event, ‘Funky’ admitted he wasn’t a fan of the production as he tweeted: “Man this isn’t child friendly entertainment.”
The 36-year-old also took a conservative stance towards the risque content during his locker room interview with Pete Davidson.
He said: “I feel so bad about the parents that are trying to explain to their kids what’s going on on TV right now.
“So I feel like kind of an irresponsible mentor to a bunch of children.”
You wanna go smoke weed, I think that should be legal everywhere. I don’t really care. At all. But just, the glorification of it, when you know kids are watching. I really didn’t love thatBen Askren
Askren has since elaborated on his comments with ESPN’s Ariel Helwani to slam the glorification of weed during the event.
He said: “I thought two things: I thought oversexualized performances, and this is what I told Tyron in the locker room.
“I’m like, ‘Dude, I’m such a f***ing dad now. Maybe I’m an old guy.’

“The second thing is the glorification of weed, which, listen, if you’re an adult, and you wanna go smoke weed, I think that should be legal everywhere. I don’t really care. At all.
“But just, the glorification of it, when you know kids are watching. I really didn’t love that. And that was what I said.
“So the guy behind the camera in the Pete Davidson interview was the Executive Producer. And I said to him, like, ‘Dude, I’m kind of embarrassed to be associated with this, and I don’t really like that I am right now.’”

Ben Askren slams referee for ending Jake Paul fight and reveals he told him he was ready to continue

BEN ASKREN has criticised referee Brian Stutts for stopping his fight with Jake Paul in the first round on Saturday night. The former Bellator and ONE Championship belt holder was clipped behind the ear by an overhand right within the opening stanza.

Askren, 36, beat the eight count, but was deemed too wobbly to continue by Stutts.
Speaking to ESPN, ‘Funky’ felt that he could have carried on.
He said: “I thought I was ready to fight; I told the guy I was ready to fight.
“It was the spot behind the ear is where he hit me. I didn’t really feel it, and I got up. There wasn’t a lot of pain there.
“He hit me hard enough to knock me down. I got up, and the referee said, ‘You didn’t get up fast enough,’ and I said ‘Okay’.”
Askren was also unhappy with how Stutts stopped him from clinching with Paul, after seeing Frank Mir and Steve Cunningham allowed to do so earlier on the card.
He added: “The referee broke us up in the two clinches that we had.
“So I was disappointed that I didn’t get a chance to be in there. That was the goal to get there and have success there [on the inside], and he broke us up literally within a second.

“I think all boxers are conspiracy theorists, so I don’t want to make that connection.
“You watch the other fight two fights earlier, and then you watch our fight, and there’s a big contrasting difference.”
The former MMA star, best known for his advanced grappling skills, also opened up on the habit that cost him the fight.
He said: “He’s got a good overhand right, and I didn’t defend it well. My guard was too loose, and part of the reason is I fought in MMA for 10 years.
“I wanted them to throw right hands because that’s generally the easiest punch to get a takedown from.
“When they loop the right hand, it’s really easy to get a takedown. So my guard was always significantly open on that side.
“I fought in boxing for 11 weeks, and I fought in Mixed Martial Arts for a decade. So it was kind of a hard habit [loose guard] to break.”
They were both embarrassing, but the Jorge Masvidal obviously meant a lot more to meBen Askren
Askren admitted that being knocked out by Paul was ’embarrassing’, like his five-second defeat to Jorge Masvidal at UFC 239.
But the latter was far more ‘significant’.
He said: “They were both embarrassing, but the Jorge Masvidal obviously meant a lot more to me. This was a fight that had little significance in my life. The Masvidal fight had giant significance.
“If I had won that fight, I was going to fight for the UFC title, which at that point was the only belt that I hadn’t held. As far as an embarrassing standpoint, I think they’re equally embarrassing.”

Askren’s corner man Woodley was in a discussion with Paul about a pre-fight bet.

Evander Holyfield doesn’t want to ‘BULLY’ Mike Tyson by pushing for trilogy fight having beaten old rival twice already

EVANDER HOLYFIELD did not push Mike Tyson into a trilogy of fights because he didn’t want to ‘bully’ him into a comeback scrap. The 58-year-old will be the latest high-profile name to dust off his gloves when he takes on Kevin McBride on June 5.

But before agreeing to take on the 47-year-old Irishman, Holyfield was locked in negotiations with his old foe.
Holyfield won the WBA heavyweight title from Tyson in 1996 before Iron Mike was famously disqualified for biting his opponent’s ear in the rematch seven months later.
Speaking to SunSport, Holyfield admitted how big-money talks with Tyson collapsed even when it seemed like a done deal.
He said: “They started about talking about a fight and how much money I could possibly get.
“So they made it kind of interesting that possibly a fight between Mike and I could be a big one.
“And with the Covid situation, people are looking for things to watch at home and all that, and with the amount of money they were talking about paying me to do an exhibition, I thought, ‘Oh wow, OK.’
“So I told them I was interested, but I didn’t want to ask Mike myself because I have beaten Mike twice and I think if I asked him myself it would make me kind of a bully trying to fight somebody that I have beaten twice already.
“But if somebody got him to call me and he said he wants to do it then I would.

“His people talked two different times. I don’t necessarily think that was him that pulled out.
“I think in general, like you say, it was a lot of money.
“And so when you’ve got a lot of money, you’ve got all these different people with you and they start thinking about how they could get their money. So, of course , it’s not going to be that way.”
Despite his age, Holyfield is not short of confidence ahead of his comeback.
And it is no suprise having reigned as undisputed champ at cruiserweight and heavyweight. He is also the only four-time world heavyweight champion.
Holyfield made it no secret of his desire to reignite negotiations with Tyson if he brushes aside McBride.
He added: “I will say this: with me I’m the only first four-time heavyweight champion of the world.
“I’ve been undefeated in the cruiserweight, and heavyweight.
“I’m the only person who has been undisputed in both these divisions. So I have been the first to do this, great things, I know I’m good.

“I’m precautious. I’m not going up against somebody who is 22, 30 or 35.
“I’m going up against Kevin McBride who is in his late 40s. Whole thing is it’s a good match up. I will beat him.
