Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury ‘will make staggering £54m EACH from record-shattering Saudi Arabia site deal alone’

ANTHONY JOSHUA and Tyson Fury will make £54million EACH solely from the record-breaking Saudi Arabia site deal, according to reports. The British heavyweight titans will go head to head this summer in their eagerly-awaited Battle of Britain part one.
Anthony Joshua looks set to pocket £54m simply through the site deal to stage his mega-fight with Tyson Fury in Saudi ArabiaCredit: PA
Joshua will put his WBA, WBO and IBF belts on the line as Fury defends the WBC crown he snatched off Deontay Wilder last year.
And as well as having the chance to unify the division, the pair are on course to make eye-watering money from the fight.
According to ESPN, the site fee alone is worth £108m will be evenly split between the two, with some additional cash used to cover expenses and the undercard.
That is almost treble the site fee for one of AJ’s fights against Andy Ruiz Jr.
A deal to stage the fight in Saudi Arabia is yet to be finalised, but it is the most likely destination with a Wembley rematch later in the year.
Fury’s US-based promoter Bob Arum told Boxing Scene: “We have [site deal] contracts now that we are marking up and so forth.
“It’s a big step. We’re just doing the paperwork now with the Saudis.”
And while the date is also unconfirmed, Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn revealed July 24 or early August are the best options – while Fury himself said it would be ‘in July’.

CASINO SIGN UP OFFER: CLAIM UP TO £800 IN CASINO BONUS CASH

He said: “They’ve signed the contract. We presented them both with an offer from a site, which they both approved and accepted.
“We are dotting the I’s and crossing the T’s and you will get an announcement soon, but that fight is going to be happening this summer.
“We haven’t finalised an exact date, July 24 is the rough date but it may leak into early August but no later than that. The Olympics will be a different timezone so it’s not really in the mindset.
“It is one of the biggest of all time, probably the sporting event of 2021, so fingers crossed – we are nearly there.
“I keep saying we are nearly there but, as I said, site approved, deal approved, everything done now.
“We are just papering it and there will be an official announcement soon.
“It is non-stop at the moment but it is happening, it is 100 per cent happening.”

Jake Paul begins talks with Tommy Fury over blockbuster fight as Frank Warren confirms ‘easy’ 50-50 deal

JAKE PAUL and Tommy Fury’s boxing bout is on the cards after the YouTube star revealed talks are underway. The pair have trash talked each other over social media and they are both keen to face one another in the ring.
Here is how Tommy Fury and Jake Paul match up against each other
Jake Paul is still yet to fight a professional boxer but he welcomes the challenge of Tommy Fury
And after Paul knocked out Ben Askren earlier this month it is a logical next step in his boxing career.
Paul, 24, says there are talks for him to potentially fight Fury as his next opponent, via ESPN.
And Frank Warren, Fury’s promoter, backed up the comments, adding: “We wanna make the fight. It’s really easy – he takes 50 per cent, Tommy takes 50 per cent.
    “Let’s get it done.”
Paul’s boxing record stands at 3-0 and after his most recent win he was called out by Fury and Paul agreed – on one condition.
But the YouTuber stipulated that Fury’s elder brother, world champion Tyson, has to be included on the same card to fight 19-1 boxer Michael Hunter.
So it seems Warren and Co have certain conditions to meet before a deal is thrashed out and a date is set for Paul vs Fury.

Tommy Fury called out Jake Paul this month and is aiming to continue his undefeated record

Fury last fought in February when he stopped Scott Williams at the Copper Box Arena, and he will be hoping to do the same to Paul after their war of words.
Paul mocked Fury’s accent and said he looked like a ‘Ken doll’, prompting the Brit to don a blonde wig in response.
A fight would be a natural conclusion as the pair clearly do not get on, and after this development it seems a bout is likely.

Deontay Wilder returns to training gym more than 12-months after Tyson Fury defeat as heavyweight plots comeback fight

DEONTAY WILDER has returned to training more than 12-months after losing to Tyson Fury as he prepares for his comeback. The American, dethroned of the WBC belt in February 2020, was pictured with former heavyweight contender Malik Scott.

Scott, 40, captioned the post: “@bronzebomber Great session tonight comrade, its game time.”
Wilder knocked out the veteran American in 2014 but they formed a friendship afterwards.
Once a sparring partner, Scott is now acting as part of the ex-champion’s coaching team.
It comes after Mark Breland was fired from Wilder’s squad after he threw the towel in against Fury.
Wilder was dropped twice by the Brit before his dominating defeat was brought to an end in round seven.
Further misery followed as the contracted trilogy never came to fruition, with Fury’s side claiming the stipulation expired in October.
Wilder, 35, is still fighting his case in court, while the Gypsy King, 32, prepares to face Anthony Joshua, 31, in a summer undisputed title decider.
Having been axed from the Bronze Bomber’s camp, Breland came out swinging in a stinging attack on his former pupil.

He said: “I’m going to plant the seed now.
“Tommy Fury vs me and Michael Hunter against Tyson Fury on the same night.

Jake Paul is cutting no corners with his diet

‘The Problem Child’ Paul may have to step up a weight division from cruiserweight for the fight to happen.
But the chances of Hunter getting in on the act to face Tyson appear slim – at least for now.
The 6ft 9ins superstar, 32, is on course to fight Anthony Joshua this summer in the first part of their two-bout Battle of Britain deal.
Fury’s WBC and The Ring crowns will be on the line while AJ will be defending his WBA, WBO and IBF belts in their quest to be named undisputed heavyweight champion.
Hunter, 32, is due to face Filip Hrgovic for the right to become the mandatory IBF challenger.

The first two rounds were terrific with plenty of quality, bottle and grit.
But Bentley, 26, had his senses snatched away in the third, when he was pinned on the ropes, and had to be saved by the referee before he was battered to the floor.
Bentley landed the first crisp jab of the opener but Cash crashed home the heavier punches.
The Tony Sims-trained bruiser caught Bentley cold in a neutral corner and the Peacock Gym ace stiffened under a big shot.
Bentley tucked up and weathered the storm but Cash stalked him for the rest of the session and scored, with an uppercut Bentley’s best response before the bell.
Both fighters showed their offensive skills in the second, tagging each other with precision punches they had spent a lifetime practicing.
Bentley’s movement and punch selection was more eye-catching but thicker-set Cash never stopped marching forward throwing thudding shots, most of which were legal.
The fight then turned in a split second. Cash connected with a meaty right hand early on the third and Bentley was done.

A bad-tempered sparring session has fuelled a grudge between the two. Who will win tonight?
    GUESS WHO’S BACK
Callum Johnson just reminded the world of his power and sent a warning notice around the 175lbs division.
The Boston banger was clipped a couple of times as he blew off the cobwebs after two years out.
But he remains a devestating puncher and a ruthless finisher.

ROUND TWO – JOHNSON WINS KO
Johnson looked like he might have that wrapped up in the first few seconds but Markic clipped him back and cut his left eye.
A loud left hook from Johnson lands and Markic is dabbing and pawing at his broken face.
Two hooks crack into Markic’s ribs but Johnson’s nose seems to be leaking some blood now too.
Markic is hurt and pinned on the ropes getting battered. The ref jumps in to save the brave visitor!

    ROUND ONE
Ominous entrance from Markic. Johnson much more jovial with Chesney Hawkes.
Johnson with Joe Gallagher in his corner with the masterplan.
Massive right hand from Johnson bangs Markic into the ropes but he is a hard geezer.
Heavy-handed Johnson has already smashed a horrible bruise onto his rival’s left cheek.
Johnson is stunned by a massive shot – somehow he stays up – crazy round!
    GORE-MAN
David Adeleye has been calling Nathan Gorman out recently.
It was actually the Nantwich man who suggested he beat Kamil Sokolowski first.
And he has given his verdict…
I stopped Kamil in me 4th fight at age of 19, 5 year ago.Great learning fight for anyone. He’s been robbed a few times mins as well— Nathan Gorman (@GormanBoxing) April 24, 2021

    HEART GROWS FONDER
The forgotten man of the British light-heavyweight divison is back.
Can Callum Johnson thrill fight fans again or have the likes of Anthony Yarde, Joshua Buatsi and Lyndon Arthur overtaken him?

    YEAR OVER
Two years since his last fight, Callum Johsnon returns next.
The 18-1 light-heavyweight makes his Frank Warren and BT Sport debut against Emil Markic who is a decent 32-2.
What has the 35-year-old got left after his failed world title shot at Artur Beterbiev in 2018?
Can he relaunch his career tonight?
    DAVID ADELEYE WINS
    It was tighter than expected.
    The ref called that 58-57.
A great step-up and learning fight for the prospect but also a warning he has a lot of learning to do if he wants to challenge rivals like Nathan Gorman.
    ROUND SIX
Sokolowski catches Adeleye with an accidental headbutt and Adeleye replies with a rabbit punch that gets a warning.
Violent ending to the fight with both giants throwing bombs.
Sokolowskere has given Adeleye hell in there but it could be the making of the 24-year-old.
Expect a comfortable Adeleye decision win from ref Marcus McDonnell next
    ROUND FIVE
Crisp jabbing from Adeleye but Sokolowski remains a threat and is not wilting.
Sokolowski flicks a lazy jab and Adeleye clips him with a right hand.
Great jab from the West Londoner rocks Sokolowski’s head back.
Sokolowski is giving Adeleye great rounds here but the prospect needs to get the win more than the experience.
    ROUND FOUR
Sokolowski is warned for rabbit punches and Adeleye finally gets his jab going in ones and twos.
Sokolowsk lands a right hand and Adeleye proves his chin for the first time in his pro career.
The round ends with Sokolowski pinning the Brit on the ropes again but Adeleye scoring the better shots.
    ROUND THREE
Everyone in York Hall is urging Adeleye to jab more but he’s loading up on right hands.
Heavy one-two from Adeleye scores but Sokolowski seems to like the punishment.
Caroline Dubois and David Haye are both bellowing help to the Ladbroke Grove ace.
    ROUND TWO
Sokolowski throws a double jab and adeleye clips back with a left hook.
A right hand seems to wobble Sokolowski but he remains upright.
Sokolowski is holding and grabbing and spoiling which is handy for Adeleye to experience but no good for us to watch.
Sokolowski lands a left hook and fires into Adeleye’s body. Another good round.
    ROUND ONE
Sokolowski has been in with Webb, Whyte and Nathan Gorman and is a bonafide gatekeeper.
Adeleye is the red-hot new kid on the block.
Sokolowski launches himself at the prospect and Adeleye enjoys his first bit of pro pressure.
Massive right hand from Adeleye smashes into Sokolowski’s skull and bounces off.
Another right loops in and cracks Sokolowski’s forehead but the Pole keeps coming until the bell.
    KAMIL SOKOLOWSKI vs DAVID ADELEYE
West London’s Adeleye has promoter Frank Warren very excited but this is a massive step-up.
Sokolowski has a KO win over Nick Webb on his record and has been in with the likes of Dillian Whyte.
Can the 5-0 Portobello prodigy continue his assault on the heavyweight scene right now?
    PAGE TURNER
Class southpaw Henry Turner gets every round against Clayton Bricknell.
    The ref scores it 60-54.
The Showm,an is going to grow into another southpaw talent out of Al Smith’s ibox gym down in Bromley alongside Dennis McCann.

RYAN GARCIA has cancelled his July 9 title defence against Javier Fortuna. The date for the fight was finalised earlier this month and was eagerly anticipated as it was set to be Garcia’s first defence of his WBC interim lightweight title.
Ryan Garcia clinched the WBC interim lightweight title by stopping Luke Campbell in the seventh round
