Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul date: When will fight be held, what TV channel and live stream will it be on?

FLOYD MAYWEATHER and Logan Paul have agreed to take part in one of the most bizarre boxing matches in history. The 50-0 Money Man has defeated Conor McGregor and Tenshin Nasukawa in his last two fights, but an exhibition against YouTube sensation Paul could be the strangest yet.

Here’s what we know about the fight so far.
When will Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul take place?
Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul was supposed to be held on Saturday, February 20, but the fight was postponed.
It was rumoured that the reason for the postponement was a lack of interest, however Logan Paul denied that that was the case.
Claiming the decision was down to “business complications”, he said: “The Mayweather fight is pushed [back] which I am completely OK with.
“The fight’s still happening [but] we want to have a packed arena somewhere and then the business side of things, we have to iron them out.
“He’s got a lot of people on his team, [his advisor] Al Haymon got involved, if you know boxing, you know what that means for getting an actual deal done and figuring out a venue.

“I need as much practice, training, sparring under my belt against this guy.
“With every day that goes past I get better and he gets older.”
The fight will reportedly take place on SUNDAY, June 6 – to avoid a clash with Triller’s Evander Holyfield and Teofimo Lopez card on June 5. Though Triller chief Ryan Kavanaugh has exclusively told SunSport he has ‘no concerns’ about going head to head.
Despite no venue being agreed yet, Mayweather revealed that it will take place in either Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Dallas or Atlanta.

What TV channel and live stream will Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul be on?
In February, Logan Paul claimed that Al Haymon had announced the fight would be on Showtime in the US.
The network broadcast Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor stateside and look set to take this PPV event.
Both Mayweather vs McGregor and Logan Paul vs KSI were shown on Sky Sports Box Office in the UK, so that could well be the channel for any eventual fight between Mayweather and Paul.
However, no UK broadcaster has been announced for the potential fight yet. More

Triller launches illegal streaming crackdown over Jake Paul vs Ben Askren claiming $100m in damages

TRILLER have launched a massive lawsuit claiming £72million in damages over illegal streaming of Jake Paul vs Ben Askren.Saturday night’s pay-per-view fight was legally bought by 1.5m fans.

That placed in into the top ten for the all-time list of PPV boxing bouts.
And Paul claimed he raked in a staggering £54m from those buys alone.
But as reported by Yahoo, the social media company have filed a legal challenge in California against 11 streamers who allegedly broadcast the card to a reported 2m people.
A Triller statement said: “It’s shocking to think a theft so grand can be done so blatantly and brazenly and steal with no remorse.
“There is zero difference between what they did and walking into a market stealing tons of a product and selling it at a discount in the parking lot.
“It’s neither civilly nor criminally any different and we are prosecuting to the fullest extent of the law.
“There were far over 2m illegal streams, akin to hundreds of millions of dollars.
“Sites, mostly using Google’s YouTube, are causing significant damage not just to Fight Club but content creators overall.

“People put a lot of hard work time and money into creating a product for the consumer and having it stolen and resold is terribly damaging.
“The good news is they are not protected by VPN masking or other firewalls as their activities are criminal and grand theft so we will ultimately find them and prevail not just for us but for content creators in general.
“We intend on working closely with the authorities as well to stop this highly illegal behaviour.”
The Paul-Askren fight was just the second event Triller streamed live – after the Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr exhibition – but made massive numbers.
And it did not even last to the end of round one.
    Jake Paul entered elite company
The YouTuber made light work of the ex-wrestler with an early knockout.
Paul landed a simple one-two over the top and left the retired UFC fighter unable to continue in the eyes of the referee.
Some viewers accused the fight of being rigged – especially after Askren was spotted laughing in the aftermath.
But he denied those claims and revealed details of his ordeal to get physically ready after hip surgery.
Paul, 24, moved to 3-0 in his boxing career since turning professional in January 2020 and dedicated the win to his bodyguard Shamir ‘Shadow’ Bolivar, who passed away earlier this month.

He posted a five-minute video in late January which has been viewed more than 2.2m times.
Alvarez decided to help David after the teen and his family started a campaign called ‘Pulmones para Antolin’ (Lungs for Antolin).
David was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis which deteriorated and led to him urgently needing a lung transplant when his family decided to launch the fundraiser.
Local media said ‘Lungs for Antolin’ had managed to get some money for the young boy when Canelo came across David’s difficult situation and decided to help.
The boxing champ said he did not enjoy posting videos of himself helping others in need ‘because when you act from the heart, there is no need to make these types of videos’.
However, he went on to add he wanted to take a moment to encourage people to help others in need explaining that ‘it is not a matter of having money or not having money’.
Canelo, 30, said: “I am going to put my grain of sand to support David and have his miracle come true.
“The point of this video is to tell anyone watching this that you can also help, you can make miracles happen too. Don’t wait for others to do it for you.”

He added people ‘can make a big difference with a small amount’ explaining that if everybody who watched videos of David on social media had donated 50 cents, David’s miracle would have already come true.
David’s father posted a video last weekend announcing that David had successfully received his lung transplant at St Joseph’s Hospital in Arizona.
The boy’s father said he is recovering well and has been extubated but is still under heavy medication following his surgery.
However, he added that he has already taken his first breath with his new lungs and his first words were: “This feels so good.”

Lomachenko was irate by the scorecards – despite many feeling Lopez was deserving of the win – and lobbied for a rematch.
But having undergone shoulder surgery for an injury he claimed hampered his performance, the slick southpaw is on the comeback trail.
Lopez, 23, is off the market as he faces George Kambosos, 27, in a mandatory defence.
But Lomachenko, 33, will instead fight Japan’s Nakatani, 32, on June 26 in Las Vegas.
Nakatani’s only loss coincidently came against Lopez and he currently has a record of 19-1.
The current lightweight king admitted he learned a lot from his breakthrough win over Lomachenko, but there is no love lost between them.
Lopez told TMZ: “Just like I learned from everybody that I faced.
“But mainly, yeah, with Lomachenko, I did. There’s a lot of things that I grabbed off of him.

“We already know what we were going to do in camp and going into the fight.
“But then there was nice things that I grabbed and now I take it into my own craft now.
“Thanks, Loma. Even though f*** you, but thank you.”

Warren, 69, added that he has no problem with Fury adding to his 5-0 record with a match against the American YouTuber.
He outlined his confidence in the Brit claiming victory in the event of a showdown, telling Paul to prove him wrong.
The promoter continued: “That’s the problem with all these YouTubers, they all seem to talk a lot, they say what they want to do, they look for the easy touches.
“If he’s really serious, get on to Triller. I’ll tell you how easy it is: Triller can do the worldwide TV rights and BT does the British ones. Let’s get it on.
“There’s nothing to stop that fight from happening, Tommy wants it. I want it. And I know who the winner is going to be. So prove me wrong.

“If you’re not going to do it, stop telling people you want the fight. Do it.
“Tommy doesn’t talk about it, he just says to me, ‘Get it done’.
“I’m saying to [Paul], if you’ve really got the balls to step up and get into the ring with a real fighter, do it.
“I’ve been wrong before [on who he thinks will win], I hope I’m not but, Jake, prove me wrong and you’re going to make a a s*** load of money while you’re doing it.”
