Brit Saunders will walk into the ring at the AT&T Stadium in Texas as a 4/1 underdog with the bookies.
And speaking on the latest episode of his Hotboxin’ podcast, former heavyweight king Tyson scoffed at Saunders’ chances.
Tyson said: “He’s knocked out right now, he’s knocked out already, I swear, he’s knocked out.”
Despite Saunders being the WBO super-middleweight champ and undefeated, he is the heavy underdog taking on the Mexican.
Canelo has lost just one of his 58 fights – that came against the legendary Floyd Mayweather in 2013.
The 30-year-old has gone on to win titles in four different weight classes.
One fellow boxer who won’t be too impressed with Tyson writing off Saunders’ chances is the American’s namesake, Tyson Fury.
The reigning WBC and Lineal heavyweight king has been supporting his good friend Saunders out in Las Vegas.
Fury is confident the WBO 168lb king will hand Canelo his second loss, writing on Instagram: “Billy Joe Saunders is 100% mentally in the right place.

“He knows what he has to do and he will do it, he will rise up [to the to] and claim greatness.
“I was wrote off many times in the past and have always come through.
“WE are cut from the same cloth, same breed of animals.
“Canelo has fought them all but never a Fighting Gypsy, we are a different breed of animal to anything he has come across before.
“#YESHEWILL. World domination with the help of God.”
Fury, meanwhile, is waiting for his undisputed clash against Anthony Joshua to get over the line.
But things seems to have hit a sticking point with the Gypsy King’s US promoter Bob Arum saying the fight is ‘dead in the water’ for this year.

Logan Paul gives himself ’10/10′ chance of knocking out Floyd Mayweather and claims ‘the universe is on my side’

LOGAN PAUL has sensationally claimed he has a 10/10 chance of knocking out Floyd Mayweather in their exhibition bout. The YouTuber, who only twice boxed before with no wins, faces Mayweather on June 6 in Miami.

And while most would rate his challenge as mission impossible, Paul has shared his unwavering confidence of being the first to ever beat the boxing legend.
Asked to rate his chance from 1-10 on KOing Mayweather by podcast host George Janko, he responded: “Ten, yeah.
“I can see how that sounds ridiculous. But guess what Georgey? My whole f***ing life is ridiculous. None of this s*** makes sense.”
Paul, 26, first fought in a white collar bout in 2018, drawing with online rival KSI, 27, in Manchester.
They turned pro a year later, and the American was beaten by split-decision after a two-point deduction cost him the result.
Since then, Paul is yet to return to the ring but has trained non-stop, also alongside his brother Jake, 24, a 3-0 boxer himself.
And the older brother is now located in Puerto Rico where he has once again set up his training base.
Having defied odds to even get 50-0 icon Mayweather in the ring, Paul is adamant he has timed it perfectly to set up the mother of all upsets.

He said: “My whole life was impossible.
“Everyone’s always told me my whole life you know, the things I’ve accomplished weren’t possible until I did them.
“The fact that I even got a fight with Floyd Mayweather was impossible. Oh, then it happened. So, like man, I’ve heard it all.
“But the preparation and the training and just the momentum I have in my life in this perfect crossroads of timing and… I dunno, I just feel like the universe is on my side.
“This is so beyond me, it’s going to be crazy. I think it’s going to be one of the highest grossing pay-per-view fights ever.”
Mayweather, 44, retired officially in 2017 after beating ex-UFC champion Conor McGregor, 32, in ten rounds.
But he did return a year later for an exhibition against featherweight kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa, winning in one round, his last fight.

Inside Floyd Mayweather’s meeting with UFC boss Dana White and RIZIN chief as he plots next comeback fight

FLOYD MAYWEATHER paved the way for an astonishing crossover event with MMA pioneers Dana White and Nobuyuki Sakakibara. The boxing legend set up a meeting 15 years in the making as he reunited promoters White and Sakakibara in his Las Vegas mansion.

There, the boxing and MMA icons discussed working together on a crossover event alongside other ‘entertainment kingpins’.
Sakakibara, CEO of Japanese promotion RIZIN, told SunSport: “Dana and I go way back to when I was the CEO of PRIDE.
“Seeing Dana face to face again was one of the things on my bucket list after I got back into this business.
“I would love to do a RIZIN event in Vegas in the future and my goal still is to try to get all organisations to work with each other to take the sport to the next step.
“On top of that I have been working on putting together a chain of alliances from different fields of the entertainment industry from combat sports.
“YouTubers, musicians including, Floyd, Steve Aoki and other entertainment kingpins to see if we can come up with a new kind of entertainment which would not only penetrate the Japanese market, but the international market as well.”
PRIDE launched in 1997 and had ten legendary years as they competed with the UFC as MMA’s premier promotion.
That was until the UFC’s then-owners Zuffa bought the company and merged their two stables together.

Sakakibara later founded RIZIN and in December 2018 welcomed Mayweather to Tokyo for an exhibition bout with kickboxing star Tenshin Nasukawa.
So when the pair met up again to discuss another partnership, Sakakibara was stunned after Mayweather invited old friend White over too.
He said: “I originally flew into Las Vegas to have a meeting with Floyd about what we can do together during these hard times.
“We were at his house at the time, and Floyd told me he wanted to invite Dana over, then really Dana shows up.
“It was a shocking moment because it’s been almost 15 years since we’ve last seen each other.
“It was nothing but a surprise and caught both of us off guard. It was such a surprise for both of us.
“We chatted and laughed about the old days and our struggles as promoters during the pandemic.”

Mayweather, 44, was set to return to Japan for another exhibition last year but was unable to travel amid coronavirus restrictions.
He will make his comeback to the ring after two years out, but in Miami, on June 6 against 26-year-old YouTuber Logan Paul.
Sakakibara is still hoping to welcome Mayweather to RIZIN’s platform again but has to first wait for government clearance.
He explained: “It would be great if he could.
“But we need to know more on what the Japanese government decides with bringing in international athletes.
“Fight or not, it would still be nice to do something with him as a business partner to improve the combat sports scene in Japan and bringing a big influence to the international market.”

White told Mike Tyson he would bet $1million on Paul losing to ex-UFC welterweight Ben Askren.
But the wager was never officially made, meaning the UFC boss has no plans to pay Paul after the internet star knocked out Askren in one round.
White said on Morning Blitz: “Listen, at the end of the day, to be honest, I hate the dildos who pop in here and say ‘Hey, pay Jake Paul!’
“I hate them worse than I hate Jake Paul. But, listen, whatever with this kid. The kid is making money, man.
“He makes people care, he makes people give a s***. I honestly don’t hate the kid.
“I know there’s a lot of people who are very excited for the day when he gets clipped and gets knocked out, and it is coming.
“His 15 minutes are almost up but listen, the kid’s gonna make some money and good for him.”

But UFC fighters are banned from competing outside of the promotion without permission.
And White threatened legal action to prevent Paul from trying to prize any of his MMA stable into the ring.
“Why don’t you go fight a f****g boxer?” White told Yahoo Sports. “What the f*** do these guys keep talking to UFC guys for?

Tyson Fury began training in just his underwear to support testicular cancer charity Oddballs after pal’s diagnosis

TYSON FURY has caught the attention of several over the years by training in his underwear. But for as funny as the 6ft 9in heavyweight looks in his often skin-tight pants, there is a very real reason for why he chose to train in them.

The Gypsy King proudly started wearing the pants to represent Oddballs, a testicular cancer charity.
Fury, 32, first started doing so before his 2018 fight with Deontay Wilder, 35, which resulted in a draw.
He revealed at the time a close friend of his was diagnosed with testicular cancer and he was doing his bit to show support.
Fury said: “I wear these funky shorts in public a lot and I wore them today because they represent a company called Oddballs.
“Every penny spent on these pants goes to research to fight testicular cancer.
“A friend of mine went through it recently, and I want to spread awareness for him and this cause.”
Ben Davison, his trainer at the time, added: “One of our close friends had testicular cancer recently so although people say he’s crazy wearing his underwear in the ring, there’s always a reason; he has a very big heart.”
Fury went on to avenge what many believe was a contentious draw against Wilder, by winning the rematch in February 2020.

But the prospect of walking first to the ring – even though his name appears first on the poster – has got Chisora thinking of packing his bags and leaving the Matchroom bubble.
During his final pre-fight interview with Sky Sports, he said: “We’re having an argument.
“They wanna do a coin flip [for] who comes in the ring first and who comes in the ring second.
“I’m was like, ‘Nah, not doing that.’
“Either I come in second or I go home right now.”
According to boxing reporter Kugan Cassius, Team Chisora are currently packing their bags to leave the bubble.

Chisora’s promoter, former WBA champ David Haye, said: “I was told by a lot of people that I trust that Derek Chisora was unmanageable.
“I was told it will all end in tears. He’s unmanageable. And so far it’s been very, very stressful.
“But I’ve always said he’s listened to 80 per cent of what I’ve asked him to do. Remember, Derek came to me and said, ‘I want you to manage me, tell me what to do and I’ll do it’.
“And he’s done 80 per cent of that up until probably, I dunno couple of months ago and since then he’s kind of doing more stuff that he wants to do on his own.
“This is like I’m saying, ‘Derek, you’ve got a contract, you’ve agreed certain things. But no.”
Chisora’s vow to go home came moments after he and Parker successfully made weight for their bout.
Fan favourite Chisora, who is looking to get back into the win column following defeat to Oleksandr Usyk last November, weighed in at 250.8lbs.
Former WBO heavyweight king Parker, meanwhile, tipped the scales at 241.2lbs.

Chisora has linked up with renowned coach Buddy McGirt for his showdown with Kiwi Killer Parker.
And Haye only sees the fight going one way, if it does indeed take place.
During Thursday’s final pre-fight press conference, he said: “Joseph Parker, we know is an excellent boxer, one of the best jabs in the business.
“Ask Andy Ruiz, Carlos Takam, it’s a killer.
“So, it’s a simple solution, we’re not having a boxing match with Parker, it must be a fight.
I can guarantee a knockout in this fight, this is not going the distance. This is about how much Joseph Parker can take.
“He’s got a great chin, he went twelve rounds with AJ, twelve rounds with Dillian Whyte who hit him on the button many times.
Derek’s going to have to do something very special on Saturday night, and he’s brought in the big guns – Buddy McGirt, Hall of Fame trainer.
“We’re adding whatever we can to give Derek what’s needed to do the impossible.”

Fury, 32, is open to a crossover fight but has urged The Predator to face him before he sets foot inside the octagon with pound-for-pound king Jones.
He wrote on his Instagram story: “@FrancisNgannou, if you fight @jonnybones he will 100% cent smash you [and] then it’s over!!!”
The WBC heavyweight king also urged UFC president Dana White to make the fight as soon as possible.
He wrote: “@DanaWhite @UFC let’s make me vs the ugly dosser Francis. ASAP.”
Fury’s message to Ngannou came less than 24 hours after he reiterated his willingness to throw down with Africa’s first UFC champion and branded him a ‘dosser’ in a blistering rant.

Fury, 32, is currently preparing up for a multi-million-pound undisputed heavyweight title fight fellow Brit Anthony Joshua.
The first instalment of Joshua vs Fury is set to take place in Saudi Arabia in the summer, although the pair’s long-awaited showdown has not yet been finalised.

And that has prompted Fury’s co-promoter Bob Arum to claim the biggest fight in the history of British boxing is ‘dead in the water’.
The 89-year-old told The Daily Telegraph: “It will take months for the Saudis to do their due diligence on such a huge deal.
“It is not just a site fee, there are ancillary demands from the Saudis stretching into the broadcast deals and other things, it could take months for it all to play out.
“It could even take until 2022 the way it looks right now.
“The fight in July or August is dead in the water as far as we are concerned.
