DEREK CHISORA and Joseph Parker will put heavyweight bragging rights on the line when they finally fight. The pair headline in Manchester, almost two years after their first bout was cancelled.

That was due to Parker sensationally pulling out due to illness caused from a SPIDER BITE.
Since then, the debate between the two has raged on as they built a competitive yet friendly rivalry.
With the first bell as close as ever, here SunSport runs down predictions from those in the boxing world.
Dillian Whyte
Whyte twice beat Chisora and has a win over Parker, and expects both of his old opponents to come asking for more.
He told Sky Sports: “With Chisora, we know that when he’s motivated and he gets his head right and he trains right, he’s a problem for anyone.
“Hopefully he does well, but I don’t care. Whoever wins, it’s good for me. The more heavyweights at the top, the better it is.
“I’m sure the winner will call my name again, but let’s see what happens.”

Matthew Macklin
Macklin should be ringside for the fight on commentatory duty for Sky Sports and has backed the bookies underdog in Chisora.
He said:”I think it’s going to be an entertaining fight because I do think Chisora is going to get to Parker.
“I think he will drag him in. It’s just then how much Parker can get back to his boxing or Chisora keeping on him.”
Asked to pick a winner, Macklin said:”I don’t know, I think Chisora can pull it off.”
Prediction… Chisora with the upset.

Johnny Nelson
Macklin’s Sky colleague Nelson went the other way and picked former WBO champion Parker to get the job done.
He said: “It’s a tight one. I think the way Derek’s thrown his heart and soul into this, it wouldn’t surprise me again if he pulled it off.
“But I might have to edge with Parker on a tight points win.”
Prediction… Parker narrowly on the cards.

Eddie Hearn 
The promoter has done a great job in selling the PPV main-event, but with his alliance to both men, he did not pick a winner.
Hearn said: “It’s just going to go off from the first bell of that fight. And actually, Joseph Parker is right up there now since his win over Junior Fa.
“He’s top five, top six with a couple of governing bodies now, if he beats Chisora, when these beats become fragemented in probably 2022, he’ll be right up there.
“This is very important to him. For Chisora, it’s the last roll of the dice. Big, big heavyweight fight. When has he given us anything but top, top entertainment?”
Prediction… a great fight.

David Haye 
Chisora’s manager and former rivals knows his man has it all to do – by becoming the first man to KO Parker.
Haye explained: “He knows he’s got to knock out Joseph Parker, who’s never been knocked out before.
“He’s going to need to do something that’s never been done before, he’s up against it and he knows it.
“On paper I get why Derek’s a massive underdog, but Derek’s proven people wrong many, many times before.”

Luke Campbell
The lightweight contender is rooting for Chisora but appears to rate Parker as the favourite.
Campbell said: “I think this could go both ways. I would like to see Derek win, I really would.
“Derek has a really good chance of winning if he gets on his chest and puts it on him. I think he has a really good chance of winning.
“If Parker sticks to a game plan and hits and moves, then he’s got the style to beat Derek. But Derek is a real handful and I’m rooting for him for the win.”

The Mexican attributed the positive test to tainted meat he’d eaten in his homeland, an excuse that didn’t wash with Golovkin.
The Khazakh said: “It’s not Mexican meat… Canelo is cheating. They’re using these drugs.”
Canelo hasn’t forgotten about Golovkin’s allegation, telling Graham Bensinger: “I am going to just really beat his f***ing face in.
“That’s what I said. I think that I’ve never been disrespectful to my rivals, or any of that because you have to be respectful always.
“But he was one of the persons who I have most wanted to cut their head off.”
Canelo, 30, continues to maintain his innocence, adding: “All meat here, has clenbuterol.

“If you eat a piece of meat here, you go and get tested; you’re going to test positive for clenbuterol. But that’s not doping.”
He continued: “These aren’t steroids.
“What happened was not steroids, they’re not catalogued as steroids.
“After what happened to me, they made it legal, a certain percentage legal. Because a lot exists.”
Canelo is currently gearing up for a super-middleweight title unification bout with Brit Billy Joe Saunders.

DEREK CHISORA’S mum has reportedly stepped in to resolve the ring walk row that almost caused his bout against Joseph Parker to be cancelled.The 37-year-old was left fuming during Friday’s weigh-in after a coin toss was held to see who would walk out first during Saturday night’s fight at Manchester Arena.

Despite his face appearing first on the poster, the British banger stormed out of the room at the prospect of heading to the squared circle first.
During his final pre-fight interview with Sky Sports, he said: “We’re having an argument.
“They wanna do a coin flip [for] who comes in the ring first and who comes in the ring second.
“I’m was like, ‘Nah, not doing that.’
“Either I come in second or I go home right now.”
Chisora’s manager David Haye stepped in to take part in the coin toss on his behalf, with Parker winning and choosing to walk in second.
And former WBA heavyweight champion Haye has now revealed that Chisora has agreed to enter the ring first after his mother talked him into continuing.
He told Sky Sports: “It sounds crazy. I didn’t see the fight happening with Derek walking to the ring first.

“But thankfully the voice of reason came in – Viola – Derek’s lovely mother, and she is the only person he actually listens to.
“I spoke to Viola about an hour ago and she said, ‘I told him he’s going to come to the ring first, like he promised, and that’s that.’
“I talked to Derek, and Derek sort of agreed, yes he’s agreed that.
“The fight is 100 per cent on. Derek will be walking to the ring first as he should have done, because he lost the coin toss. We’ve got ourselves a fight.”

Paris has been taking care of an unwell Valencia
Fury’s eldest son, Prince John James, has joined him in Sin City – meaning Paris only has to look after four of the couple’s five children.
And she’s had to take care of a poorly Valencia.
Paris, 31, shared a snap of an unwell Valencia to her Instagram story in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The accompanying read: “12:30 at night and my girl all rosy-cheeked and not feeling well.
“A mother’s work is never done, best job in the world but one of the hardest.”
Paris is expecting to give birth to her and Tyson’s sixth child ‘at the beginning of August’.
