Watch Tyson Fury take a barrage of body shots from world champ Josh Taylor as he prepares for Anthony Joshua showdown

TYSON FURY has amped up his Las Vegas training camp ahead of the summer showdown with Anthony Joshua with a little help from fellow Brit star Josh Taylor. The Gypsy King, 32, is currently in Sin City perfecting his craft with a long-awaited heavyweight unification fight against AJ just months away.
Tyson Fury had his abs pummelled by Josh Taylor during a Las Vegas workout
Fury let Taylor rain down blow after blow on his core, only to shrug them all off
And on the agenda for Wednesday was working on his ‘abs of steel’.
Fury stepped into the ring with WBA and IBF super-lightweight world champion Taylor.
The Scottish star, 30, himself is preparing for his unification fight with Jose Ramirez on May 22.
As part of their session, Taylor rained down a series of his heaviest hits into Fury’s core.
Without so much as a flinch, 6ft 9in Fury absorbed every punch Taylor – a whole foot shorter – threw his way.
Earlier this week, Fury vowed to ‘f***ing smash’ Joshua in the first of their two all-British clashes.
The chiselled Morecambe star roared: “You’re getting smashed motherf***er.
“Look at me when I tell ya, you’re getting f***ing smashed.”

Despite looking in superb shape, Fury has mixed work with pleasure, as he visited a gun range.
Posing with a machine gun, he posted: “Only in America. Living the American dream.”
Joshua, 31, and Fury finally agreed to fight each other in March, with promoters now left to agree a date and venue.
Both champions have agreed a site deal, believed to be Saudi Arabia, with August 7 the potential fight date.
AJ’s promoter Eddie Hearn hopes to finally announce the Battle of Britain in Texas on Saturday – when Canelo Alvarez takes on Billy Joe Saunders.

Fury confirmed he will be ringside to watch his close friend Saunders after borrowing ‘motherf***ing don’ Bob Arum’s private jet to fly to Arlington.
And there, Hearn and the Gypsy King could confirm the summer unification.
Hearn said: “Hopefully we can announce the big one out there as Fury will be there.
“It would be amazing to announce that before or after the fight as it’s a massive show.”

Anthony Joshua says he’s ‘ready to go through pain and torture’ to win £500million grudge match with Tyson Fury

ANTHONY JOSHUA is ready to go through ‘pain and torture’ to have his hand raised against Tyson Fury.Joshua’s long-awaited undisputed heavyweight title fight with his fellow Brit, which will land in Saudi Arabia in the summer, is set to be announced in the coming days.

The Watford warrior has been champing at the bit to get his hands on Fury for years and has vowed to walk through hell and back to get the better of The Gypsy King.
AJ told Hornets hitman Troy Deeney: “Am I excited? I ain’t excited, it is what it is.
“I’m getting ready to walk through a brick wall and nothing is getting in my way.
“I’m ready to go through whatever pain, torture, adversity I have to go through in order to win, that’s why I’m really looking forward to it.”
Joshua and Fury’s Saudi showdown will crown the first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis defeated Evander Holyfield in 1999.
But unified king AJ – who holds four of the division’s six titles – already sees himself as the best heavyweight on the planet.

He continued: “I know I’m the man of this division and I will be for a long time.
“I came through this game quick and the way I had to learn was through mistakes, on the public stage as well.
“I came into this game not to take part but to take over, I feel I’m on a different wavelength and frequency.
“I do it with a smile on my face but I’m dedicated to these things.
“Recapping over Covid I thought, ‘Man, I’ve put a lot into this and now I need to back myself.'”

Joshua has, so far, opted not to get involved in the mind games of the trash-talking Fury.
He said of Fury’s pre-fight amble: “It’s just psychological warfare. I’ve learnt a lot with that.
“The man will talk about drinking pints and he’s not interested but yet he wants to look chiseled, he’s training the hardest he’s ever trained, he’s the skinniest he’s ever been.
“AJ has a good body and he trains so he wants to be a body builder, but Tyson Fury would do the exact same thing if he could.
“I am everything he wants to be.

“He wants to have a six-pack, that’s why he’s training as hard as he’s training right now. Why he looks so chiselled, why he’s in America.
“I promise you I’m honoured, I’m humbled, I know it’s going to be tough but I truly believe I am tough enough to go through it.
“I don’t need to talk about Tyson Fury and I don’t need to belittle the man, he can do what he wants.”
After months of negotiations, Joshua’s promoter – Eddie Hearn – is hoping to announce the long-awaited Battle of Britain this weekend.
Late last week, the Matchroom Boxing chief said: “Next week could be massive.
“Hopefully we can announce the big one out there as Fury will be there.
“It would be amazing to announce that before or after the fight as it’s a massive show.”

The Brit is a general 9/2 underdog with the bookies against the world’s pound-for-pound king – but Chisora is confident he has what it takes to win.
War posted a picture of his bet slip online.
It showed a 10,000 euro bet on Saunders to win with the potential winnings showing as 62,000 euros.
The bet comes just hours after Chris Eubank Jr lumped on £10k of his own but he backed Canelo instead.
Eubank tweeted: “The bet has been placed! Billy Schmoe Saunders to get cleaned out by Canelo Alvarez this Saturday.
“Oh… & the 10k I stand to win will all go to charity.”
Eubank, 31, was beaten by Saunders, also 31, in 2014 but the pair have feuded ever since.
Initially, the son of British boxing legend Chris Sr revealed he wanted his former opponent to win, setting up a blockbuster rematch.
But after some thinking time Eubank, who beat Marcus Morrison on his ring return, made a U-turn.

The eagerly-anticipated super-middleweight title unification bout between Saunders and pound-for-pound king Canelo was in danger of falling through due to a row over the size of the ring.
A replacement is being flown out for Saunders, just in case.
The pair were initially set to trade blows in a 20ft ring at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium, which Team Saunders thought gave Mexican mauler Canelo an unfair advantage.
Saunders, along with his best mate and WBC king Fury, wanted a 22ft ring, at least.
But now there appears to have been a compromise reached.
Saunders shared a video on his social media last night, saying: “Hey all, just wanted to say, I’m pleased the issue is sorted because obviously you can see I tagged Eddie Hearn and Canelo in the last video.
“The ring is not a problem, so thumbs are up, chilling back watching a few films, Eddie, get the ring in mate.”
Matchroom boss Eddie Hearn was seemingly worried enough to have fellow Brit John Ryder ready to step in for Saunders.
Boxing News reported that Ryder, who lost to Saunders in 2013, ‘is flying out to Texas and has declared he is willing to jump in and face Canelo’.
They add: “Ryder was training for a fight in June and set to fly out for promotional work regardless.”

Jake Paul issued a chilling warning by Kamaru Usman after YouTuber tweeted picture of UFC star and his daughter

UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman has issued a chilling warning to Jake Paul after the YouTuber’s recent Twitter taunt.Social media star-turned-boxer Paul mocked Usman by tweeting a picture of him with his daughter at Disneyworld after Africa’s first UFC champion revealed he wouldn’t fight the former Disney actor.

I understand you think this is a game which is probably why you don’t realize that this is how people Truly get hurt. I don’t play fighting and I can change your life in the worst way. https://t.co/Zch2xlDA9b— KAMARU USMAN (@USMAN84kg) May 5, 2021

The Nigerian Nightmare took a few days to respond to the taunt but nonetheless didn’t take kindly to it.
He tweeted: “I understand you think this is a game which is probably why you don’t realize that this is how people truly get hurt.
“I don’t play fighting and I can change your life in the worst way.”
Along with the picture of Usman and his daughter Samirah, Paul – who was cageside for the 170lb champ’s vicious knockout of Jorge Masvidal last month – wrote: “So let’s get this straight:
“1. Usman calls me out to fight on TMZ sports interview.
“2. I quickly accept the challenge to fight and will give him biggest pay day of career ($10m+)

“3. Usman then backs out of fight because I’m “a Disney kid”
    “4. Usman visits Disney world.”
Paul, 24, is still buzzing from his brutal first-round knockout of former UFC star Ben Askren last month, a victory that stretched his undefeated pro record to 3-0.
The Problem Child is hoping to fight again this year and has set his sights on throwing down with some big-name MMA fighters.
He told ESPN: “This all started with me having a list of people I wanted to fight.
Jake Paul brutally knocked out former UFC star Ben Askren late last monthCredit: Getty

“It started with a YouTuber and then it was a real athlete and then all of a sudden it was to fight an MMA athlete.
“Nate Diaz and I got into beef on Twitter and so the people on that list are mainly MMA fighters.
“It’s whatever gets people interested and combining the two worlds… the biggest pay-per-view of all time was Floyd vs Conor, boxing vs MMA, so why not keep with that model?
“I believe I’m a better striker than 99.9 per cent of these MMA guys so when we’re matching up form a kill and experience level it’s even and it’s who wants it more in the fight.
“If I’m going against these world champion boxers who have been doing it since they were six years old its an unfair advantage.
“I do want to fight boxers, there are boxers I’m going back and forth with about potential fights but the people I want to knock out are MMA fighters.

Mayweather toyed with the Irishman in their crossover bout, finishing the contest in the tenth round.
But it proved to be one of the biggest fights in box office history, with a whopping 4.4million combat sports fans buying the bout, drastically increasing The Money Man’s bank balance.
During an appearance on the Millon Dollaz Worth of Game podcast, the 44-year-old said of becoming a billionaire: “I think that was over four years ago. I think 1.2 (billion) over 1.2.”
Becoming a billionaire, however, wasn’t the boxing legend’s favourite financial milestone.
He added: “The best feeling I ever had was when I got $100,000.

“But then you receive a hundred million cheque and 50 million cheque on a regular.
“The $100,000 felt better than the $100million because that was my first cheque.”
Mayweather is currently gearing up for an exhibition bout with YouTuber Logan Paul, whom he’ll clash with at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on June 5.
The fight has been widely criticised, with many claiming it’s damaging the sport.
Floyd Mayweather’s four-month-old grandson is already a millionaire

Mayweather, however, doesn’t share that belief, insisting his exhibitions are providing financial security for his family members – including his four-month-old millionaire grandson Kentrell Jr.
He said: “A lot of times they say, ‘Oh, Mayweather, he’s doing exhibitions’ they be like, ‘It’s bad for boxing’.
“But at the end of the day, I look at my children, I look at my grandson, I look at my mother, I look at my father.
“My mother’s a millionaire, my dad’s a millionaire, my children are millionaires, my little grandson’s a multi-millionaire and he doesn’t even know it.”

Ryan Garcia ‘in shock’ as he hits back at ‘sick a**’ critics questioning mental health and claims ‘I’m f***ing hurt’

RYAN GARCIA has revealed he is ‘in shock’ at ‘sick a**’ critics who have questioned his mental health, admitting: “I’m f***ing hurt.”Last month, the American boxer, 22, pulled out of his July 9 title defence against Javier Fortuna to focus on his ‘health and wellbeing’.

Garcia’s decision was swiftly criticised by a number of vile trolls – with some even suggesting he’s using mental health as an excuse to get out of his fight.
But now the US ace has broken his silence with a passionate rant on Instagram, calling critics ‘sick’ for lashing out at his ‘high-level anxiety and depression’.
Sharing an image on his Instagram Story, Garcia wrote: “I’m seeing a lot of people talk about what they think is going on with me.
“I’m struggling everyday and I’m hurting emotionally so bad.
“As anyone who has experienced anxiety and depression at high levels knows, just because you smile and act as if things are okay, doesn’t mean they are.
“I’m writing this with shock and I’m hurting more.
“I won’t do anything to try to be happy.
“Bye you all, sick a** people.”
Ryan Garcia pulled out of his title defence against Javier Fortuna having beaten Luke Campbell in JanuaryCredit: Getty

Garcia then targeted Mario Lopez who had hit out at the American on the Three Knockdown Rule Podcast.
A clearly upset Garcia continued: “@mariolopez No I’m not just having a bad day.
“No I don’t have problems with any of the people in my life.
“I don’t know why this happened to me it just did.”
Addressing other critics, Garcia claimed: “And to all the other people who say I’m using it to get out of my fight, I didn’t want to give up money for my family.
    “I’M F***ING HURTING.
“And it hurts so bad bit it’s people like you who make it hard to continue.”

Garcia became WBC interim lightweight champion in January when he defeated Britain’s Luke Campbell via technical knockout.
He was due to face Fortuna this summer, but pulled out in late April with a statement on his Instagram.
Garcia wrote: “I know this news may be disappointing to some of my fans but I am announcing today that I am withdrawing from my July 9th fight.
“At this time it is important to manage my health and wellbeing.
“I have decided to take some time off to focus on becoming a stronger version of myself.
“I hope to be back soon and am looking forward to stepping back into the ring when I am my healthiest self.
“I want to thank God, my family, my doctors and my supporters.”
