FLOYD MAYWEATHER is set to put all his belts on the line in Conor McGregor’s weight class for their highly anticipated rematch, according to a close source. The 50-0 undefeated champ, 44, and Irish MMA star McGregor were in talks for a sensational billion dollar rematch, as revealed by The Sun earlier this year.

Mayweather is currently in training for his exhibition fight with YouTuber Logan Paul
However, the fight was temporarily scuppered after Notorious, 32, was beaten by American Dustin Poirier in a shock KO defeat in January.
McGregor, who was defeated by Money in 2017, has said he is ready for the rematch and even revealed how he would train for the fight, in an impromptu Twitter Q&A on Sunday.
However, Mayweather is said to be growing impatient with McGregor and wants a deal to be hashed out soon.
A source in the Mayweather camp told The Sun: “Floyd is getting mad now, he wants the fight to go ahead next year.
“He’s been telling everyone in his camp he’s going to beat the hell out of him and saying he’s got a dead record.
“Floyd is even willing to put all his belts in McGregor’s weight class on the line because he’s so sure he can beat him again easily.
“Right now Floyd is super-focused on his boxing…
“He even asked his girlfriend to move out temporarily so he could train without distraction.”

Money officially retired from professional boxing in 2017 after beating McGregor in ten rounds.
He did come back a year later to face featherweight kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa in a brutal, one-round exhibition beating.
For now, Mayweather is currently gearing up to fight YouTuber Logan Paul in an exhibition match on June 6.

The heavyweight world title fight NOBODY knows about between champ who hasn’t fought in FOUR years and unbeaten American

MANUEL CHARR will defend his secondary heavyweight title against Chris Lovejoy – in a fight nobody seems to know about. After all, Charr has not boxed in four years and Lovejoy, while 19-0 all by knockout, has never competed outside of Mexico.
Chris Lovejoy is 19-0 all by knockout

Anthony Joshua, 32, has been the WBA champion since 2017 after brilliantly beating Wladimir Klitschko, now 45, in round 11 at Wembley Stadium.
He is on the verge of facing Tyson Fury, 32, in an undisputed title decider on August 17 in Saudi Arabia.
But still, Charr holds the WBA’s ‘Regular’ title – a secondary belt which only causes more confusion in a sport often lacking clarity.
It is why very little attention is being paid towards the title fight in Cologne, Germany on Saturday night.
Lovejoy takes his 100 per cent knockout ratio outside of Mexico for the first time, a place where he even had to PAY to fight and faced only journeyman.
Charr last fought in November 2017, beating Alexander Ustinov on points, and seemingly priced himself out of a return ever since.
Lovejoy’s sense of mystique only heightened last October when he was set to fight Dave Allen, 29.
That was until legendary promoter Don King got involved, claiming the heavyweight did not have his permission to fight.

So one day before the bout it was cancelled, after phone calls until 4am failed to resolved the dispute.
Lovejoy has since split with the veteran matchmaker, after he ruined his biggest showcase and forced him to file for bankruptcy.
He told Sky Sports: “It’s to my advantage. They can’t strategise to any weaknesses or flaws that I might have.”
Lovejoy, determined to do things on his own, has travelled without a trainer, cut-man or anybody at all for that matter.
He said: “I’m here to shock the world. This has never been done before. I’ve travelled into No Man’s Land, this guy’s back yard, by myself.”
Lovejoy confesses to not caring about the secondary belt on the line, instead prioritising a world ranking.
He explained: “Once I beat him, that catapults me onto the next level with the top guys.

“The top two guys, Joshua and Fury, won’t be available. After that there is Deontay Wilder, Dillian Whyte, Alexander Povetkin and Andy Ruiz Jr.
“Preferably the fights I want? Joe Joyce or Jarrell ‘Big Baby’ Miller. I saw flaws in those guys a long time ago.
“Maybe Filip Hrgovic, he needs a fight too. Immediately after this fight I will say: ‘Who’s next?'”
But Charr takes his reign as understudy champion very seriously, as he said: “I was always inspired. I was always in shape.
“I never stopped training. I never lost the focus to get back into the ring.
“Because after I won the world championship, I proved that I’m the real heavyweight champion.
“And that means to never give up. I never allowed frustration. I kept the focus on being the champion and to fight the best.”

Meet unknown unbeaten heavyweight Chris Lovejoy who is taking on Manuel Charr and had to PAY to get fights in Mexico

CHRIS LOVEJOY is the unbeaten heavyweight with a 100 per cent knockout ratio – yet no one has seen him fight. The American, 19-0 since his 2016 debut, has boxed only in Mexico, with little to NO footage of his action.
Chris Lovejoy is the unbeaten heavyweight with a 100 per cent knockout ratio
Chris Lovejoy has only ever fought in Mexico
Lovejoy did not even have an amateur career, instead heading to Floyd Mayweather’s Las Vegas gym with only a mean reputation on the streets.
He was trained by Mayweather’s uncle Roger and dad Floyd Sr, but without a promoter or amateur credentials he was unable to get fights.
It led to him instead taking his business to Mexico, where he had to PAY to box, leaving him ultimately out of pocket.
Lovejoy, 37 – who takes on Manuel Charr for the WBA ‘Regular’ title in Cologne, Germany on Saturday – told Sky Sports: “It was the only route I had. It was on-the-job training. I was learning how to fight.”
The heavyweight has since beaten only journeyman with losing records, but insisted he would have to win by KO to ensure he was not robbed.
He said: “There are good fighters with bad records. And terrible fighters with good records.
“They come to fight because they have a lot of pride. I know people who went down there and lost.
“I know a heavyweight who went down to Mexico and lost by disqualification.

“In Mexico, you’d better go for the knockout because you’re in their country. The judges don’t care about you.”
Lovejoy’s talent still remains a mystery, having never boxed on televised shows.
Perhaps his biggest tests have come in the gym, sparring the likes of Tyson Fury, 32, and Luis Ortiz, 42.
But, as has been the theme of his career, Lovejoy is tight-lipped about those secret sparring sessions, only adding to his mystique.
He said: “There is a secret society in gyms. ‘Tyson Fury knocked him out! Or he knocked out Tyson Fury?’
“It is a mystery and you don’t know unless you were there. These are the rules of our brotherhood.
“If I had a good day against one of the top guys, I would never say.”
Chris Lovejoy has sparred Tyson Fury
Luis Ortiz has sparred with Chris Lovejoy
Lovejoy was finally set to prove whether he was the real deal or not last October, as he was lined up to face Dave Allen.
That was until legendary promoter Don King – who famously guided Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson – got involved just ONE day before the bout.
King claimed Lovejoy did not have his permission to box, and phone calls until 4am failed to resolve the matter and the fight was cancelled.
Lovejoy has since split with the veteran matchmaker, after he ruined his biggest showcase and forced him to file for bankruptcy.
He said: “It’s to my advantage. They can’t strategise to any weaknesses or flaws that I might have.”
Lovejoy will at last graduate out of Mexico when he travels to Europe to face Charr this weekend.
Charr, 36, himself has not fought in four years and has also become some what of a forgotten man in the heavyweight division.

And having failed to capitalise on the intrigue surrounding his deadly-looking yet unproven record, he is targeting the big boys this year.
He said: “Once I beat him, that catapults me onto the next level with the top guys.
“The top two guys, Joshua and Fury, won’t be available. After that there is Deontay Wilder, Dillian Whyte, Alexander Povetkin and Andy Ruiz Jr.

Oscar De La Hoya’s ring return aged 48 confirmed for September and Evander Holyfield to take on Kevin McBride in August

OSCAR DE LA HOYA’S comeback fight has been moved to September with Evander Holyfield making his own sensational return a month before. De La Hoya, who retired in 2008 after a battering from Manny Pacquiao, announced in March that he would return to the ring.

Evander Holyfield makes his return in AugustCredit: Getty
It was initially set for July, but social media platform Triller – which is promoting the boxing legend – has now been forced to delay the event.
They have moved it by two months, with an opponent also yet to be confirmed.
The brains behind Triller’s ‘Fight Club’, film producer Ryan Kavanaugh, had been in talks for UFC legend Georges St-Pierre, 39, to fight De La Hoya, 48.
But he claimed on Instagram that UFC president Dana White had BLOCKED GSP from making the boxing switch.

That is despite St-Pierre announcing his retirement in 2019, having not fought since 2017.
But it would indicate he is technically still under UFC contract and would need their permission to make the move.
The UFC allowed Ben Askren, 36, who retired in 2019, to face YouTuber Jake Paul, 24, but he was knocked out in the first round.
Paul has since campaigned to fight another UFC star, and has been called out by ex-champions Daniel Cormier, 42, and Tyron Woodley, 39.

But White recently made it clear he will not give anyone under contract permission to box the internet sensation.
He told ESPN: “First of all, I would never do business with those guys, just no. No, this is not what we do.
“I’m not gonna f***ing loan them a guy for f**ing what? There’s no way.
“You got plenty of f***ing goofballs out there that you can muster up to get in there and play these games that these guys are playing.
    “Yeah, I’m not your guy.”
With St-Pierre out of the question, it appears De La Hoya will be made to wait for his first fight in 13 years.
Ryan Kavanaugh pictured with Oscar De La Hoya
Meanwhile Evander Holyfield, 58, who last fought ten years ago, will return in an exhibition in August.
He faces Kevin McBride, 48, who is most known for his 2005 win against Mike Tyson, 54, which was the last in the legend’s pro career.
Holyfield was set to return on the undercard of 23-year-old Teofimo Lopez’s lightweight title defence against George Kambosos, 27, on June 19.
But instead, the heavyweight legend will headline his own event two months later. More

Canelo Alvarez ‘lost three out of four fights against Mayweather, Lara and Golovkin’ – claims rival Caleb Plan

CALEB PLANT said Canelo Alvarez lost three out of four fights against Floyd Mayweather, Erislandy Lara and Gennady Golovkin. The American has the only title missing in Canelo’s unified super-middleweight collection.

And with Plant’s IBF belt firmly on Alvarez’s mind, the two are set to enter talks for an undisputed fight.
Canelo, 30, is coming off a devastating win against Billy Joe Saunders, 31, where he broke the Brit’s eye socket and cheekbone.
But Plant, 28, instead focussed on Alvarez’s past fights against Mayweather, Lara and Golovkin, all of which ended in defeat or controversy.
He told The Athletic: “He’s been fighting, you know, these UK level guys, European-type guys, and that’s cool.
“But as far as him fighting the top, Floyd, Lara, Triple-G, he’s 1-3.
“So, at the end of the day, he’s just a man, and he’s looked human in some of these bigger fights as well.
“As far as what he did to Billy, and the fashion that he won, that scaring me or making me more nervous or anything like that, that’s not the case.”
Canelo, who has beaten SEVEN British opponents, was handily outpointed by Mayweather, now 44, in 2013, at the age of 23.

It remains his only loss, but one year later he was involved in a split-decision win over Cuban Lara, now 38.
The southpaw in the eyes of many gave Canelo several problems and could have earned the win.
Perhaps Alvarez’s most controversial fight was the first in his double header against Golovkin.
It resulted in a draw in 2017, but many ringside believed GGG was the rightful winner.
Canelo made no mistake in the rematch a year later, which again was hotly contested and a trilogy bout has since evaded Golovkin, 39.

Due to Saunders’ slick style, akin to Mayweather and Lara’s, he was perceived as the greatest threat to Alvarez’s throne.
But Plant, unbeaten in 21 fights with 12 knockouts, warned it would be out of the questions to compare him with the English southpaw.
He said: “To me, that’s almost disrespectful. Just the amount of discipline alone that I possess over him is disrespectful.
“The amount of discipline that I have, the athletic ability that I have. Billy, he’s quick, he’s got some quickness, but he’s not explosive.
“The height, the real, the boxing ability, the boxing IQ, I hit harder than him. I mean, the list goes on and on.
“Just because we both have some slickness to our style, don’t construe that we’re the same boxer or even the same type of man.”

Jake Paul opens door to sensational fight with brother Logan but admits their parents ‘don’t want it to happen at all’

JAKE PAUL is still open to a sensational fight with his brother Logan but admitted their parents ‘don’t want it to happen at all’. The pair initially found success alongside each other on social media, starting on Vine and also shared a stint acting on Disney Channel.

But their superstardom came through YouTube, where their channels have rivalled one another.
Their competitive nature has continued into the boxing ring, leaving both contemplating an unprecedented fight against each other.
They know it would merge their fanbases together and make undeniable success financially.
But still, they do not have the backing from their biggest supporters – mum Pamela and dad Greg.
Jake, 24, told SunSport: “They don’t want it to happen at all, but who knows? I think it would be interesting.
“Even in the gym when we’re training together there’s always like a who’s better vibe going around.
“Sometimes we’ll spar against the same person and you can see how we compete against that same person.
“But you don’t really know how we match up. It’s very interesting and who knows? It might happen one day.”

The Pauls both began their boxing journeys on the same night on August 25, 2018 in Manchester.
Logan, 26, drew in an exhibition with Brit KSI, 27, whose brother ‘Deji’ was beaten by Jake.
One year later, KSI won the rematch by split-decision as the two controversially turned pro.
Jake followed, and has boxed the most, with three knockouts in as many fights, most recently against retired UFC welterweight Ben Askren, 36.
Logan is now lined up with an exhibition against Floyd Mayweather, 44, on June 6 in Miami, where the two came face-to-face for the first time.
The brothers were involved in an ugly melee after Jake stole the boxing legend’s hat, and claimed Mayweather’s security punched him in the face.
As the siblings brawled together, it proved their bond is inseparable, despite years of competing against each other.

Jake said: “It is a friendly competition and I came to the realisation the reason we feud with each other but are also best friends is because he’s my only competition.
“If my brother wasn’t here then who would Jake Paul be competing with? I’d be the biggest, most talked about YouTuber.
“I’d be the biggest, most talked about prizefighter and I’d be the most successful entrepreneur that has come from the social media space.
“He’s the only one I have to compete with where it’s like, ‘Oh, damn he’s doing as bigger fights as me. Oh, damn he’s just as talked about as me’.
“We’re each others only competitors and that’s what drives us but that’s what also can pit us against each other.”

Boxers who made most from LOSING fights as Saunders earns huge £5.5m in Canelo Alvarez defeat including McGregor’s £60m

SOMETIMES in boxing, you have made a killing before the bell has even sounded. Many of the biggest purses have been awarded to the loser of a prizefight, such as Oscar De La Hoya’s defeat to Floyd Mayweather.
Canelo Alvarez beat Billy Joe Saunders after eight roundsCredit: Reuters
Other times the bout is so big, it commands a huge fee even for the B-side of negotiations, like was the case with Manny Pacquiao against Mayweather.
Billy Joe Saunders pocketed around £5.5million for his brutal loss to Canelo Alvarez, which left him with a broken eye socket and cheekbone.
Here, SunSport looks at seven of boxing’s largest payouts for fighters on the losing end of a result.
Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao, 2015
Still the most lucrative fight of all time, Mayweather ended five-years of drawn out talks with a 12-round points win.
It earned him not only $250m, equivalent to £177m today, but also bragging rights over his great rival.
But it was not all bad for Pacquiao, who walked away with $150m, equivalent to £106m today, a record sum for a losing fighter.

Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor, 2017
In Mayweather’s highest-earning night, he pocketed $275m, now £195m, for beating McGregor in ten rounds.
For the Irishman, he took home $85m, now £60m, an unprecedented amount for a UFC fighter, especially while making their boxing debut.
McGregor, who earns the majority of his UFC purses through bonuses, has flirted with a return to the ring, having been in talks with Pacquiao before.

Oscar De La Hoya vs Floyd Mayweather, 2007
This fight marked the last time Mayweather was ever playing second fiddle in talks, with De La Hoya at the time boxing’s Golden Boy.
He banked $52m, now £37m, for his part in the points loss, the only ever split-decision on Mayweather’s record.
The winner still received a healthy $25m, now £17.7m, and became the face of the sport and forever the boss in the negotiation room.

Lennox Lewis vs Mike Tyson, 2002
After years of feuding, the heavyweights finally put it all on the line and shared the revenue down the middle.
Both were guaranteed $17.5m, now £12.4m, but Tyson is said to have earned $35m, now £24.8m after bonuses.
Iron Mike was knocked out in round eight, but still walked away with his joint-highest payday.

Evander Holyfield vs Mike Tyson II, 1997
After Tyson was stunned by Holyfield in 1996, their rematch a year later proved lucrative.
But it will forever be remembered as the ‘Bite Fight’ as Tyson sunk his teeth into his rival and was disqualified in round three.
Still, Iron Mike earned $30m, now £21.3m, for his disgraceful defeat, while winner Holyfield took the lion-share of $35m, now £24.8m.

Tyson was the WBA champion and favourite to beat Holyfield when they fought for the first time.
Iron Mike was guaranteed the same purse that he got for their rematch, but Holyfield took home $12m, now £8.5m.
Tyson was stopped in 11 rounds and lost his title, never again reigning as champion.
