And according to The Athletic, he has already arranged his next bout.
The report states Paul and former UFC welterweight king Woodley will step into the ring.
It adds the Problem Child recently signed a multi-fight deal with Showtime.
And they plan to use Friday’s face-off in Miami between Jake’s older brother Logan and Floyd Mayweather to promote the latest contest.
Woodley called out Paul in April – but insisted he wanted any fight to be under MMA regulations.
He said: “You had a lot to say in the locker room, let’s fight.
“I wanna hear what [Jake Paul] gotta say about it. You wanna fight me? He could fight me.
“I’ll fight his friend in MMA, because I wanna elbow his ass. I don’t want no little boxing, the poofy gloves.

“I wanna elbow, I wanna f***ing hit his face. I wanna almost break his arm and just let him out.
“So if his boy wants to fight me, he’s gonna have to come and see me in the cage.”
Paul started his boxing venture with an early TKO of YouTuber AnEsonGib then took out ex-NBA star Nate Robinson.
In his recent fight with Ben Askren in April, the retired MMA man was KO’d within two minutes of the first round.
But Woodley should provide a sterner test for Paul.
The 39-year-old American claimed the UFC welterweight belt at UFC 201 then defended it four times.
He beat Darren Till in September 2018 but lost his latest contest to Vicente Luque in March.
That defeat ensured he has four losses in a row, including to Kamaru Usman – when he relinquished the belt – and Colby Covington.

Galal Yafai targeting Olympic fly gold but admits 8st ‘little birds’ turn him off compaired to heavyweights

GALAL YAFAI could become king of the Olympic flyers this summer but is still turned off by his own 8st ‘little bird’ division.  The 28-year-old Birmingham flyweight claimed gold at the 2018 Commonwealth games and was on course for more in Tokyo 2020 until the pandemic delayed the games.

The Japan showcase could launch Yafai into the same pro ranks as big brothers super-fly Kal and super-bantam Gamal are earning in.
But the 5ft 4in star still reckons the lowest weights are small fry compared to the heavyweight class that boasts giant stars like Team GB hero Anthony Joshua.
“I think the big boys will always get most of the attention and I would rather watch an Anthony Joshua fight than one of my brothers!” he laughed.

“The heavyweights are just more interesting, I’d rather watch a couple of dinosaurs fight than a couple of little birds.
“The lower weights might have the better technical boxers but the heavyweights is where the excitement is and I don’t think that is ever going to change in boxing, or any sport.
“But I watched my brother Kal become a world champion in his class and I believe I can achieve that.
“And I don’t need the £10million – £20m-per-fight that AJ and the heavyweight champions get.”

Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn, son of Nigel, have given passionate interviews in recent weeks in support of Campbell Hatton following his pro debut, coming out of the shadow of father Ricky.
All three are sons of British boxing icons and have faced the tough task of convincing critical fans they are worth far more than their famous surnames.
For Yafai, the third fighting brother from a brilliant and usually very modest family, his amateur medal haul helped him outshine his elder siblings.

He said: “At the start I faced some problems but as the years have gone on I have achieved things in my own right.
“I don’t want to sound bad but, in the amateurs, I have surpassed my brothers now . I don’t tell them that but I guess it is going out on this article now.
“Now I have to try to copy, match or surpass their achievements in the pros, when the time comes, but having successful brothers in the sport doesn’t bring any additional pressure for me now, we are all just trying to do our best.”
Kal, 31, held the WBA world title between December 2016 and February 2020 and now has a record of 27-1.

Gamal, 29, suffered the second defeat of his career in May, while bidding for the European crown and is now 18-2.
And Gal has enjoyed all the associated success their victories have brought him, he laughed: “Watching two whole careers go before me has been a big help. But mainly when they have done well it has always looked good on me.
“Now I guess I do have to try to pay them back a bit of the credit and win Olympic gold to give them a little shine back as I have enjoyed plenty of theirs in the past.”

But not one to miss an opportunity in the spotlight, relaxed Fury grabbed the microphone for a bit of pre-race singing with Michael Waltrip on TSN.
The pair performed a rendition of Fury’s favourite American Pie to the camera.
But while Fury was enjoying his downtime and treating his family to a day out, rival Wilder threw down his latest threats at the British fighter.
Wilder, who suffered his first pro defeat to Fury in February 2020 to lose to WBC crown, is desperate to get his revenge.
And he warned the 6ft 9ins giant he plans to ‘decapitate and disfigure’ him when they step back into the ring again.
Speaking to 78SPORTSTV, he said: “My mentality is – you’ve been contemplating about hurting a person so bad, to the point you wanna disfigure him so his mother wouldn’t even know who he was.
“You wanna decapitate him in every way, like premeditated stuff.”

Floyd Mayweather says Jake Paul will ‘be in neck brace’ if he ‘keeps f***ing with me’ after stunt at Logan Paul face-off

FLOYD MAYWEATHER has vowed to put Jake Paul in a neck brace if he ever disrespects him again. The undefeated boxer is as angry as ever after Jake Paul stole his hat at a press conference in the build-up to his fight against brother Logan.
Floyd Mayweather has warned Jake Paul he will not be so lucky if he pulls another stunt
Jake Paul is no stranger to a prank and could be planning another way of getting at the boxer this week
And Mayweather warned Paul he will not be so lucky if he attempts to pull a similar stunt again.
In an interview with Showtime, the 50-0 boxer said: “I’m nothing to play with. I ain’t one for the jokes. Totally disrespectful.
“That’s why you [Jake Paul] ended up with two black eyes, your nose got f****d up and your teeth got chipped – keep f***ing with me and next time you’re going to end up in a neck brace.”
Mayweather launched himself at Paul immediately after the Youtuber snatched his hat from his head, but the boxer could not get his hands on the prankster.
Paul has since celebrated that fact, much to the annoyance of Mayweather.
The 24-year-old has changed his Twitter name to ‘Gotcha Hat’, released a song by the same name and even got a tattoo of the infamous line, which he shouted during the infamous exchange.

The exhibition fight between Logan and Mayweather takes place on June 6 so there is plenty of time for tension to be ramped up further.
Another press conference will take place on Thursday, which is perhaps why Mayweather has issued a threat to Jake Paul, who may be looking to rile up his brother’s opponent once again.
Logan and Mayweather will then come face to face at the weigh-in on Friday.

And Logan is sure he will be in for a proper fight after his brother’s antics, insisting he is not treating the clash as an exhibition.
He said: “It’s not an exhibition. What exhibition is eight three-minute rounds?
“You know, this is a fight. If Floyd didn’t want to rip my head off before my brother took his hat, now he’s trying to kill me.” More

Floyd Mayweather is ‘doing a disservice to himself’ by fighting Logan Paul and is obsessed with money, says Beterbiev

The Russian light-heavyweight star slammed Money for living up to his nickname despite so much successCredit: Rex
His 50th pro fight was against Conor McGregor in August 2017 before he beat kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa in their New Year’s Eve exhibition in 2018.
And although YouTube celebrities taking steps into boxing – such as Paul and younger brother Jake – attracts money and audiences, Beterbiev is disappointed Mayweather has stooped to money-grabbing contests despite so much success in his career.
The unbeaten Russian light-heavyweight WBC and IBF champ, 36, said: “I think such fights make the boxing more popular.
“For example, they don’t go to MMA or some other combat sports. They go to the boxing. So I am fine with that.
“I do not think this is a disservice. Mayweather has always been seeking money.
“If you remember he was even nicknamed Money. So he does everything for money.
“By this fight he is not doing a disservice to the boxing. He is rather doing a disservice to himself.
“And the boxing will always remain a great sport.”

The showdown will take place at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium this weekend with fans furious Sky Sports are forcing fans to stump up £16.95 to access the fight on Box Office.
Paul made his pro boxing debut with a split-decision defeat to British YouTube rival KSI in November 2019.
But he is adamant, although his Mayweather bout is classed as an exhibition, they are going to ‘war’ in the ring.
And the 26-year-old vowed to ‘decapitate’ the five-weight world champion in the first round.

Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: “It’s not an exhibition. What exhibition is eight three-minute rounds? You know, this is a fight.
“If Floyd didn’t want to rip my head off before my brother took his hat, now he’s trying to kill me.
“It’s going to be a war. I’m not going to make this s*** easy for him. We’ve been training our a**es off for eight months now to fight this guy.
“I think I’m going to go in there and decapitate him in the first round. And if it doesn’t happen we’re going for the second, and the third, and the fourth.
“Who knows, it could go the distance but it’s going to be a f***ing show regardless.”

Tyson Fury BANS all Anthony Joshua talk from fight camp to stay focused for Deontay Wilder trilogy

There are now fears that the Battle of Britain bout may NEVER go ahead with the fighters’ managers locked in a war-of-words.
Now SunSport can reveal how Fury has demanded all attention be put on his aim to “demolish” Wilder.
A source said: “Tyson is ready and willing to fight AJ. And he won’t rest until he has beaten him and proved to everyone he is the better fighter.
“But he wants to turn down the volume now on all the noise around AJ. That is for another day. Tyson is focusing totally on Wilder.
“He firmly believes he can give the American a boxing lesson and is training harder than ever to be in perfect condition for the fight. Everything else is simply a distraction which he won’t allow into his head.”
Our story comes hot on the heels of yet another twist in the saga between Fury and Joshua’s managers Frank Warren and Eddie Hearn.
Warren has claimed the all-British fight was heading for legal trouble even before Wilder won his arbitration.
Matchroom chief Hearn was pushing for a Saudi Arabia showdown for the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.

But Wilder won his case last Monday to force a third fight with Fury to end any hope of a Joshua fight this summer.
Hearn feels something “stinks” about the whole situation and was angry he was ill-advised by Fury’s US promoter Bob Arum that the US judge would not stop the Joshua fight.
But Warren – Fury’s UK promoter – said: “At the start of the year, all parties involved in the fight signed a contract as to how the negotiations would take place.

“In that agreement there was a clause that made it very clear there was an arbitration situation going on as far as Tyson is concerned – so everyone was aware of it and that we were awaiting the outcome of that.”
WBC champion Fury will now face Wilder on July 24 in Las Vegas while WBA, IBF and WBO title holder Joshua is expected to face Oleksandr Usyk in August.
Warren has also claimed that even if Wilder lost the arbitration then those involved in making the Joshua fight would have ended up in legal trouble because he believes Usyk’s team were ready to sue over his wait for a shot at the WBO title.

The fight was supposed to be held on Saturday, February 20, but the bout was postponed.
It was rumoured that the reason for the postponement was a lack of interest, however Logan Paul denied that that was the case.
Claiming the decision was down to “business complications”, he said: “The Mayweather fight is pushed [back] which I am completely OK with.
“The fight’s still happening [but] we want to have a packed arena somewhere and then the business side of things, we have to iron them out.
“He’s got a lot of people on his team, [his advisor] Al Haymon got involved, if you know boxing, you know what that means for getting an actual deal done and figuring out a venue.

And Scott, who has only begun training Wilder since his loss to Fury in February last year, has compared The Bronze Bomber with legendary boxer Ali.
Speaking to 78SPORTSTV: “Muhammad Ali is one of my greatest fighters of all time.
“He very was magical in the ring, but it was the things he beat outside the ring that truly got my attention.
“Deontay Wilder is the closest thing to that in this time.”
Wilder currently holds a professional record of 42 wins, one draw and one defeat.
Ali, who retired with a record of 56-5, is renowned for being involved in some of the greatest fights of all-time against the likes of George Foreman and Joe Frazier.
‘The Greatest’ fought for world titles between 1964 and 1980 in what was one of the most iconic careers in boxing history.
Meanwhile, Wilder is currently without a world championship belt, with Fury claiming the WBC belt from him and Anthony Joshua holding the remaining three straps.
