They were initially set to fight in 12-ounce gloves.
But according to Marc Raimondi, they will now do battle in 10-ounce gloves instead – making a knockout more likely.
The other quirky rules, however, remain the same.
There will be no judges scoring the contest.
And therefore no scorecards read out at the end.
Knockouts ARE allowed, however, during the eight-round bout.
Stoppages will be at the referee’s discretion.
A fan vote has even been mooted to determine the winner, although this wouldn’t be official.

🥊 MAYWEATHER VS LOGAN PAUL: Where will the fight take place, what TV channel and live stream will it be on?
Logan’s brother Jake, who KO’d an out of shape Ben Askren in April, told SunSport: “I think it’s great, I think it brings more eyeballs to the sport of boxing. People forget that boxing is entertainment.
“All sports are designed for entertainment even dating back to the Roman Empire, they had Olympics sports for entertainment.
“This is entertaining and I think that Floyd will again severely underestimate my brother, and there’s a size advantage, my brother’s fast and has knockout power.
“I’m not saying he’s going to beat Floyd, I’m not going to say he’s going to lose against Floyd.
“But I do think we’re going to see a good fight.”

Floyd Mayweather will KO Logan Paul in four rounds and afterwards ‘Jake Paul can get his turn’, says ex-sparring partner

FLOYD MAYWEATHER has been backed by his ex-sparring partner to knock out Logan Paul in four rounds – and said brother Jake ‘can get his turn’ next.Mayweather faces the YouTuber this Sunday in an extraordinary exhibition bout in Miami.

But things turned personal at the pre-fight press conference at the start of May as Logan’s little brother Jake stole the boxing superstar’s hat.
It sparked a mass melee with the Pauls and Mayweather, who even landed an uppercut on Jake, 24, leaving the social media star with a black eye.
But the brawl was only the start of things to come, predicted Ashley Theophane, a once valued member of Mayweather’s team.
Theophane, 40, told SunSport: “Floyd will win by knockout. It’s an exhibition but you have a YouTuber vs a legendary boxer.
“Floyd will take Logan Paul out within four rounds then Jake Paul can get his turn.”
Mayweather, 44, returns to the ring four years after officially hanging up the gloves, following his win against ex-UFC champion Conor McGregor, 32.
But he did box one year later, blasting out featherweight kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa in a similar exhibition to Sunday’s headliner.
Logan, 26, on the other hand is Mayweather’s most under-qualified opponent of all time, at least on paper.

His only two fights were against online rival KSI, 27, the first a white collar bout in 2018 which ended in a draw.
The pair turned pro a year later, with Logan losing by split-decision, leaving his pro record standing at 0-1.
He has a height and weight advantage, but two-weight world champion Badou Jack, promoted by Mayweather, laughed off those attributes.
He told us: “I think he could stop the fight whenever he wants to. The size doesn’t matter.
“He could hit him to the body or whatever, this guy’s not a real fighter. I think he’s just going to have some fun and play around with him.
“If he wants to stop him, he’ll stop him, if he wants to put on a show he’ll do that.”
Jack, 37, was set to rematch Jean Pascal, 38, on the undercard before his light-heavyweight rival was pulled out amid a failed drugs test.

The Swedish-born spent his training camp at Mayweather’s Las Vegas gym but never bumped into the American great due to their differing schedules.
But Jack revealed Mayweather has been training non-stop, such is his dedication to the sport.
He said: “He’s a competitor, he wants to look good so of course he’s going to train hard even if this is probably going to be an easy fight.
“His mentally is still the same, he’ll work hard and put on a show for the fans.”
Theophane, who recently released his book ‘Raised By The Hood’ – which includes training camp diaries with Mayweather – has witnessed first-hand the legendary training regime.
He said: “He’s probably the most driven boxer I’ve come across in my life. Sometimes you don’t know how long the round is.
“You’re just boxing. Fortunately for me I always sparred Floyd when I was in great shape.”

Anthony Joshua vs Oleksandr Usyk ‘close’ to being finalised for this summer and AJ is ‘over’ Tyson Fury disappointment

ANTHONY JOSHUA’s WBO mandatory with Oleksandr Usyk is on the verge of being finalised, his promoter Eddie Hearn has revealed.Negotiations over the fight began immediately after the collapse of Joshua’s proposed undisputed heavyweight title bout with Tyson Fury, which fell through after the WBC champ was ordered to face Deontay Wilder.

A deal looked unlikely but is now on course to be finalised following productive talks between Hearn and Usyk’s promoter Alexander Krassyuk.
The Matchroom Boxing chief told talkSPORT: “I actually had a couple of calls with [his promoter] Alex Krassyuk this morning.
“Today is the day the WBO will order purse bids – that gives you another seven days before purse bids to make a deal.
“We are quite close now to making a deal with Oleksandr Usyk.”
Joshua was bitterly disappointed with the collapse of his long-awaited showdown with Fury, so much so he launched a blistering attack on The Gypsy King on social media.
But Hearn insists the unified heavyweight champ of the world is ‘over’ the pain of the legacy-defining fight slipping through his hands.

He said: “AJ’s over that initial disappointment of the Fury fight falling out.
“He’s a very proud man, he loves to take on all challengers and the challenge of Usyk is a very dangerous one.
“It’s very likely you will see AJ vs Usyk at the back end of this summer.”
Hearn fought tooth and nail to secure a lucrative deal with the Saudis to stage the fight, which many thought wouldn’t be possible given the current global financial climate.
And the 41-year-old insists he did everything in his power to put on the biggest fight in the history of British boxing.
Hearn was bitterly disappointed by the collapse of Joshua’s long-awaited clash with FuryCredit: Getty

He said: “We never forgot about the arbitration, we were just lied to by Bob Arum and by Team Fury.
“We were told consistently by that side of the team – this arbitration will have absolutely no bearing on the AJ vs Fury fight.
“Everybody signed a contract to move forward with this fight.
“They then refused to help [with the site deal], ‘Eddie Hearn won’t deliver this fight, he can’t deliver this deal, who’s gonna pay for this in the middle of a pandemic?’
“So I went out with my travel bag all around the world and I signed an absolutely beautiful opportunity for Anthony Joshua – the opportunity of the Tyson Fury fight in Saudi Arabia.
“Both fighters absolutely delighted, over the moon with the offer, with the numbers, we’ve got it, it’s done.
“Tyson Fury comes out and says, ‘Deal’s done, spoke to Saudi Arabia, August 14.’
“And then the world comes crashing down.
“Do I feel like I’ve let fight fans down? Yeah, you can blame it on me I suppose.
“But at the end of the day I can look myself in the mirror and say, ‘I couldn’t have done any more.’”

He added: “The beef is all these guys look up to me, steal my blueprint and then get to hating on me.”

He said: “I’m a more complete fighter now. It would be much more competitive.
“I have a lot more experience. I have improved a lot, so it would be different.
“It was experience that defeated me that night and that’s why it was a boring fight, as well, because he didn’t do too much to me, either.

He suffered an eye injury which led to him having to retire following his 1996 defeat to Mike Tyson.
Frank has also revealed how former opponent James Bone Crusher Smith – who was one of only three men to beat Bruno – is also keen on a rematch.
Revealing the offers on social media Frank, who now runs a mental health charity the Frank Bruno Foundation, said: “My office gets some interesting calls.
“Today, do I want an exhibition match with James Bone-Crusher Smith.
“Two weeks ago it was Roy Jones Jr. I would love to fight but my eyes are not good and sadly we had to decline. I am disappointed.”
Frank’s comments come amid reports two of his former opponents are planning to lock horns.

According to reports Tyson wants to step in the ring with Lennox Lewis.
Tyson recently declared himself ‘invincible’ following his successful return to the ring last year.
The former undisputed heavyweight champion returned to the squared circle last November for an exhibition bout against Jones Jr.
Tyson’s clash with the four-weight champ ended in a draw, although the 54-year-old turned in a much better performance than expected.
And Iron Mike still feels on top of the world after getting himself back in shape and back in the ring.
During a recent episode of his Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson podcast, he said: “F**k the comeback.

“I want to be up more than anybody in the f***ing world deep down.
“No one can stop me, I’m invincible.”
Tyson was in talks over a trilogy fight with former rival Evander Holyfield later this year.
But The Real Deal has agreed to box Kevin McBride, the man who retired Tyson in 2005.
Tyson has since claimed he’s set to have a rematch with Lennox Lewis, telling TMZ: “I’m going to fight Lennox Lewis. Yeah, September.”

The last undisputed heavyweight champion of the world told TMZ: “If the public wanted it then we would probably talk.
“I don’t know. I don’t really have nothing pushing me in the ring right now.
Lewis recently confirmed talks over a blockbuster bout are underway, saying: “We’re talking.”
Lewis, 55, is open to the fight but admits he has no real motivation to get back inside the ring.
“People would love to see that fight but I don’t know.”
Tyson and Lewis fought one another 19 years ago at the Memphis Pyramid in Tennessee.
Lewis came out of the bad-blooded contest on top, knocking out Tyson to retain the WBC, IBF, IBO, The Ring, and lineal heavyweight titles.
