      BRITISH YouTuber KSI has bragged he is the ‘best boxer in the world’ after Floyd Mayweather failed to knockout Logan Paul.The 27-year-old beat his rival in their professional fight in November 2019 after winning via split decision.

      But boxing legend Mayweather, 44, could only draw against his American compatriot in their exhibition bout at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
      Without a knockout, there was no winner declared, though most observers ringside agreed that Mayweather won the majority of the rounds.
      Following the contest, KSI – real name Olajide Olayinka Williams Olatunji – took to social media to declare himself the best fighter on the planet.
      He tweeted: “So…You’re saying I’m now the best boxer in the world?”
      And fans agreed with him, as one posted: “My boy KSI made Logan take a knee and Floyd couldn’t, what is life.”
      Another messaged: “The fact that Mayweather couldn’t knock down Logan but you could is crazy bruh.”
      A third added: “Tbh after this fight Ima have to say KSI > > > Floyd and Paul’s.”
      Meanwhile one commented: “Fair play to @LoganPaul, he survived. Does that mean @KSI is the best boxer in the universe?”

      KSI’s brother Deji also tweeted: “This means that KSI is the best boxer in the world.”
      One then messaged: “If KSI beat Logan Paul, that means that he’s better than Mayweather.”
      Following the bout, Mayweather praised Paul for his toughness after being taken the distance by the 26-year-old.
      He said: “I had fun, you’ve got to realise I’m not 21 anymore but it’s good to move around with these young guys, test my skills just to have some fun.
      “Great young fighter, strong, tough, he’s better than I thought he was. As far as with the big guys, the heavyweights, it’s going to be kind of hard.
      “But he’s a tough, rough competitor, it was good action, had fun, I was surprised by him tonight.
      “I fought against a heavyweight, but I had fun. Even though he’s not got that much experience, he knew how to use his weight and tie me up tonight.”

      The boxing legend was in control throughout and landed some clean shots, which Paul to his credit was able to withstand.
      A counter right hand in round five was the pick of the bunch, as he evaded Paul’s hook and fired back.
      It caused the social media star to desperately hold on – but in the eyes of some it was instead Mayweather holding him up to prolong the fight for entertainment purposes.
      One Twitter user said: “Floyd Mayweather actually knocked out Logan Paul, but held him up during the fight to carry it through 8 rounds.”
      One responded: “They scamming people who paid to watch them.”
      Another commented: “Joke.”
      Another, in disagreement, commented: “If this is serious you’re an idiot.. You think floyd could hold him up? Dont be silly.”

      But a slew of North American fight fans were unable to watch the fight due to technical difficulties.
      And angry punters – who shelled out £35.31 ($49.99) for the exhibition – demanded a full refund.
      One furious fan tweeted: “Why is my showtime app not working?’
      Another said: “Showtime is not working. Already ordered the fight and $50 the app won’t even work?”
      And another said: “App crashed and not working, please refund. Just subbed to a different place. Thank you.
      One remarked: “Dear Showtime I would like a refund this is unacceptable and unprofessional the first flight has already happened and still my TV is not working well the Showtime app is not working.”

      Another irate punter said: “I just paid $50 for a fight I can’t watch. App is not working and errors out.
      “Horrible app! I demand a refund! #refund.”
      The scale of the technical difficulties experienced by Showtime’s paying customers is currently unknown.
      But if it’s on a large scale, they face the prospect of having to dish out hundreds – maybe even thousands – of refunds.
      And with the PPV costing £35.31 ($49.99) a pop, that’s a whole lot of cash the fighters – as well as Showtime – will end up missing out on.
      Before the fight – Mayweather boasted that he hoped to make up to £72m from the fight once PPVs were totalled up.

      The boxer was clearly the better fighter, but his YouTube rival had enough about him to hold on for the whole eight rounds.
      The bout was Mayweather’s first outing since his exhibition with Tenshin Nasukawa in December 2018.
      YouTube sensation Paul went into the contest as a huge underdog but vowed to shock the world and hand Money his first loss in nearly 25 years.
      He didn’t manage that – but he did leave with some credit.

      And one of his favourites was on display as he made his walk to the ring before facing Mayweather in an exhibition bout in Miami.
      He had a Charizard card – which he paid £100,000 for last year – around his neck as part of a blingy necklace.
      But Mayweather also made a leftfield choice for his ring walk as he emerged wearing an OnlyFans hat, promoting the X-rated content subscription service.
      GOING THE DISTANCE
      Despite their odd choices, arguably the most surprising thing of the night was the boxing legend failing to knock out Paul.
      Without a stoppage, no official winner was declared, with the YouTube sensation taking a moral victory from going the distance.
      But Mayweather – who dubbed the fight a ‘legalised bank robbery’ – again walked away with another mega-money payday.
      And he revealed just sitting in his locker room saw him rake it in.
      Mayweather said: “I’m still the king of the throne. And it’s not king of the throne as far as boxing world, I’m the king of the throne in business.

      And he reckons Mayweather will avoid a fight with Logan’s younger brother Jake, who is 3-0 all by knockout in his own career.
      Nelson, 54, said on Sky Box Office: “I don’t think Floyd would.
      “I think he’s had a reality check today, saying, ‘You know what, I’ve rinsed this as much as I can’
      “I think probably his pride’s been dented a little bit by not getting rid of him.
      “Once it’s gone it’s gone you can’t turn back time when it comes to age and unfortunately he’d loved to be able to.

      Mayweather started cagey, with Paul sticking behind a respectable jab.
      As the fight grew, the boxing legend picked up the pace and was evidently looking for the finish.
      But 26-year-old Paul, content with a moral victory going the distance, used his physical advantages and started grabbing and holding.
      The safety first tactics saw him avoid the KO defeat many predicted, though fans were left fuming.
