Paige VanZant making more money from selling sexy content on private fan website than UFC and BKFC contracts

FORMER UFC star Paige VanZant claims she’s making more money from her members-only website than she did fighting in the UFC.VanZant set up her own fansite, which she aptly called PaigeFanZant.com, last February as an additional source of income.

And she claims to have made an absolute fortune since setting up the siteCredit: paigevanzant/Instagram
The site has proven to be a huge hit, so much so her earnings from it have eclipsed her UFC paydays and her lucrative deal with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship.
The 27-year-old said: “I will say when I signed with BKFC, the bare-knuckle boxing, I was making more money than I had made in my entire UFC career.
“Now I’m making more money than my entire BKFC contract in like a month. It’s pretty crazy.”
VanZant has no immediate plans to call time on her days as a fighter but feels financially stable enough to no longer compete.
She said: “I don’t have to, when I’m done fighting, get a regular job and have to go back to work.
““I’m not planning for when I retire to go to college or try to figure out what’s next in my life.

VanZant is currently in a financial position where she no longer needs to fight
“I’m able to just fight and save money and plan when I want to retire, I can just retire.”
VanZant was initially hesitant about going through with the money-spinning endeavour, saying: “There was always this back and forth. There’s two sides of it.
“I didn’t want to put myself in a position where I would lose business opportunities based on having an exclusive content site, but I feel like I’m already seen as a sex symbol in the sports world.
“I might as well have the monetisation behind it. I wanted to do it on my own terms. So I actually joined Fan Time, it’s a separate company.
“I’m not with OnlyFans. It’s PaigeFanZant.com and it’s my own website and I have a lot of control over what goes on there. It’s basically me doing exclusive things. I’m proud to say I’m part of it.
“I work hard for my body. I work hard for who I am, and there’s a side of me that’s extremely girly and feminine, and I get to share that on my fan site. Now I think it’s becoming a lot more acceptable.
Paige VanZant will face Rachael Ostovich at BKFC 19 on July 23Credit: BKFC

“Before, OnlyFans was seen more for just like porn stars. It was a little bit more X-rated, just the view from the public.
“Not saying that’s actually what people have on there, but I wanted to do it my own way.
“I wanted to do it professionally and have my own website and that’s what I’ve done.”
VanZant may be earning megabucks from her titillating content. but that hasn’t quenched her competitive thirst.
The former UFC flyweight will be back in action on July 23 at BKFC 19, rematching former rival Rachael Ostovich.
The American Top Team star lost her BKFC debut in February, suffering a unanimous decision defeat to Britain Hart at BKFC Knucklemania.

Mike Tyson faces Triller lawsuit over failed Evander Holyfield fight after £18m Roy Jones Jr comeback bout aged 55

MIKE TYSON is in danger of being sued by Triller if he fights under another promotional banner. The American social networking service hosted Tyson’s comeback fight with Roy Jones Jr last November, a bout that raked in over one million pay-per-view buys.

But Iron Mike publicly severed ties with the social media platform in MarchCredit: Reuters
Triller had plans to stage another exhibition with the boxing legend, although Tyson quickly dismissed that notion by insisting his next bout would take place under the Legends Only League banner.
But the former undisputed heavyweight champion, 55, faces the prospect of a multi-million-pound lawsuit if he opts to pursue a fight with another promotion.
Triller chief Ryan Kavanaugh threatened Tyson with legal action in a letter recently obtained by The Athletic.
In it, Kavanaugh disputed claims Tyson wasn’t paid his full £18million ($25m) purse and insisted Triller have the rights for his next fight.
It also revealed Triller’s plan for Tyson to have a trilogy fight with former opponent Evander Holyfield.
An excerpt of Kavanaugh’s letter read: “It is unquestionable that we have a contractual right to your next fight, including but not limited to Evander.
“Having spent over $30m dollars on your first fight while being told it was a crazy risk no one would take was only because and for this right to a Tyson-Holyfield fight.
“We also entered into an agreement directly with Evander.”

Kavanaugh is hoping not to take legal action, adding: “My team and I have nothing but the utmost respect for you.
“Instead of turning this into a legal battle that would, one that would indefinitely hold up your right to fight, we would love to sit down, resolve this, and get you into the ring with Evander.
“All we have asked is we remove the middle men and have a one on one conversation.
“We are confident that together the truth will prevail as will everyone involved.”
Mike Tyson recently claimed he’ll have a rematch with Lennox Lewis in SeptemberCredit: PA

Tyson appeared to sever all ties with Triller in March, saying: “Just to be clear, there is no Tyson with Triller fight.
“I don’t know any Triller executives personally. I don’t have a deal with Triller or any head executive representing them for the next event.
“I’m a partner in Legends Only League, and my next event is with my league.
“I will never do another event or any business with Triller, so anyone misrepresenting that they own the rights to my name or my next event isn’t true. I am not with or ever will be with Triller’s Fight Club.”
A month later, The Baddest Man on the Planet claimed he’d face Lewis in a blockbuster rematch this September.
That bout, however, looks highly unlikely given the potential lawsuit Tyson will be slapped with if he fights without Triller’s consent.

Oleksandr Usyk to be trained by Vasiliy Lomachenko’s genius dad for Anthony Joshua fight, reveals promoter Bob Arum

OLEKSANDR USYK will be trained by Vasiliy Lomachenko’s genius dad for his fight with Anthony Joshua fight, promoter Bob Arum revealed. Usyk, who was guided by Ukrainian boxing mastermind Anatoly during his amateur career, faces Joshua in September in London.

The former cruiserweight king has switched coaches throughout his professional career, but always had Lomachenko’s dad in his camp.
And while not always previously present in Usyk’s corner, Anatoly is now set to take the lead when they challenge for AJ’s unified titles.
Lomachenko’s promoter Arum told Sky Sports: “Let me caution you something, because even though I don’t promote him, I consider him a really good friend and that’s Oleksandr Usyk, who the reason I know him so well is he is the best friend of Vasiliy Lomachenko.
“Egis Klimas, who is the manager of both, I talk with him and he has talked with the father of Lomachenko, who he calls ‘Papa Lomachenko’ who was the trainer of all these Ukrainian Olympians and he’s agreed to properly train Usyk for this fight.
“I’m telling you, don’t think that Joshua is in a cake walk. He has a really tough fight with Usyk, who is a terrific boxer.
“His father wouldn’t train anyone else, but he will train Usyk, because Usyk is like family.”
Anatoly was part of Ukraine’s magnificent amateur set up which has produced Olympic and pro champions in Usyk and Lomachenko.
He is also credited for introducing a modern training regime, emphasising movement and footwork.

Anatoly had his son take part in dance lesson and gymnastics as a child to help with his co-ordination in the ring.
Lomachenko has since become a three-weight champ, having left the unpaid ranks with an unprecedented 396-1 record, also twice avenging his sole loss.
The southpaw was dethroned of the lightweight belts by American Teofimo Lopez, 23, in October, only his second loss as a pro.
But after beating Masayoshi Nakatani, 32, on his return, he called for a rematch while turning his attention to supporting close friend Usyk against AJ.
Lomachenko said: “Of course I believe he can win.
“He has a very big chance but it won’t be easy because Joshua also knows what he must do in the ring.
“Joshua also knows boxing, he has also had amateur experience. It will be an interesting fight, very interesting.”

The YouTube star, 24, faces ex-champion Tyron Woodley, 39, on August 28 in his fourth and most challenging fight to date.
But he is already being challenged by Lombard, who recently won the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship’s cruiserweight title.
And the Cuban, who left the UFC in 2018 with an MMA record of 34 losses, ten wins, one draw and two no-contests, told Paul to choose the rules.
Lombard, 43, posted on Instagram: “We do it at bareknucklefc or we do it in a boxing match Jake Paul?
“I know you wanna make it happen the question is where do you want to do it??
“I know you want to do it in a boxing match.. but do you have the balls to do it at BareknuckleFC???”
Lombard won BKFC gold by beating fellow MMA veteran Joe Riggs, 38, but it was his post-fight brawl that grabbed the headlines.
After Lorenzo Hunt, 38, got in the ring during his post-fight interview, the American was hit with a one-two combination.

Paul most recently knocked out retired UFC welterweight Ben Askren, 36, in the first round of their fight in April.
It added to his two highlight-reel wins over online rival ‘AnEsonGib’ and ex-NBA point guard Nate Robinson, 37.
Woodley, who has seven KOs to his name, reigned the UFC’s welterweight division from 2016-2018 with four defences.
But he departed the promotion this year off the of four straight defeats, leaving him without a win in three years.

But the Gypsy King, a big Manchester United fan, made sure he caught all the action from England’s stunning 2-0 win against Germany at Wembley.
One of his camp had the game playing on his phone, and on one of the England goals Fury burst into song.
As the group celebrate, Fury starts to sing the famous Baddiel & Skinner anthem Three Lions (It’s Coming Home).
He is soon joined by the other lads in the gym as the realisation of finally beating Germany sinks in.
Fury will meet Wilder for a third time on July 24 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
The Brit battered Wilder in February last year after the pair had drawn their first clash.
And Fury plans to weigh a whopping 300lbs for the trilogy fight.
He said: “I gave my game plan away the first time because he wasn’t good enough to do anything about it.

“And I’ll do the same thing this time because he’s not good enough to do anything about it.
“Deontay Wilder is a one-trick pony. He’s got one-punch power, we all know that – great.
“But what I’m going to do to Deontay Wilder this time is I’m going to run him over as if I’m an 18-wheeler and he’s a human being.
“I guarantee he does not go past where he did before [the seventh round].
“Because before, I only had five or six weeks practicing what I’m going to do to him. This time, I’ve had 18 months of practicing what I’m going to do to him.
“So I anticipate it’s going to be like an 18-wheeler running over somebody, and that’s what you’re gonna see.
“I’m building my weight up, trying to get up to 300lbs for this fight. Because I’m looking for a big knockout straight away.”

Amir Khan warns Floyd Mayweather ‘you couldn’t hurt Logan Paul and it looked bad for you’ after controversial fight

AMIR KHAN hit out at Floyd Mayweather for failing to knock out Logan Paul and blasted ‘it looked bad’ for the boxing legend. Paul, who outweighed Mayweather by TWO STONE, claimed a surprise moral victory at the start of June as he survived the full eight rounds.

As there was no knockout scored, the YouTuber technically avoided defeat in the extraordinary exhibition bout.
Former world champion Khan, who for years chased a fight with Mayweather to no prevail, was left shaking his head.
He told Last Stand Podcast: “I’m not really a big fan of that exhibition thing.
“No disrespect to Floyd or the other fighters that are doing that, but I just think it’s not good for the sport of boxing.
“People are not taking boxing seriously and boxing’s a sport where, the time they are going to start taking it seriously is when someone gets badly hurt.
“We just don’t want that to happen and I think it would be quite tarnishing for boxing if God forbid a YouTuber got knocked out by a professional fighter.
“You can’t really compare the two. I would never do that because I would be scared to hurt someone and if you hurt an influencer and you are the fighter that people always respected, you’re going to lose that respect.
“Really, you shouldn’t be sharing the ring with that person. Floyd did it a couple of weeks ago in Miami other day against Logan Paul.

“He couldn’t hurt Logan and it looked bad for him. Him being a trained professional fighter for many years, whereas Logan came, put his gloves on and went in the ring.
“A lot of people said Floyd didn’t look the same. Really, he got more bad comments than he got good comments in that fight.
“Did he really need the money? No. We don’t think he does.
“But going into that fight he got a lot more hate because he couldn’t knock out a guy who’s worse than a journeyman basically.”

But after Deontay Wilder was awarded the right to a trilogy bout with Fury, the unification collapsed.
AJ now faces mandatory challenger Oleksandr Usyk, 34, in September, while Wilder gets his crack at revenge on July 24.
Joshua is still holding out hope of an all-British super-fight, but was warned against it by fellow Olympic medallist Khan.
He told the Last Stand Podcast: “He’s a beast, heavyweight champion. But a lot of people say, ‘Is he gonna beat Tyson Fury?’
“I think that could be one of the hardest fights he ever has. If I was Anthony Joshua, I’d keep away from Tyson Fury.”
Joshua, 31, agreed terms to fight on August 14 in Saudi Arabia against Fury, 32, who tried to walk away from his contracted rematch with Wilder, 35.
But the American took the dispute to arbitration and was later awarded the verdict.
It leaves it all to play for trilogy bout with AJ eyeing the winner, and backing Fury to retain the title he dethroned Wilder of in February 2020.
