TYSON FURY is the latest boxing star to be added to the video game Esports Boxing Club.The Gypsy King, 32, was revealed to be a playable character on the forthcoming PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X title in a video on social media by the vice president of global acquisitions for ESBC, Todd Grisham.

The announcement from Grisham featured a fully rendered look at Fury’s in-game character model.
With Fury on board, ESBC now boasts one of the biggest rosters of boxers in a video game ever.
Joining the WBC champion as characters in game include Muhammad Ali, Canelo Alvarez, Amir Khan, Joe Louis, and Oleksandr Usyk.
Alongside the best fighters the world has ever seen, gamers will be able to stage their fights at some of the most iconic venues, play a career mode and have plenty of customisation options.
It was originally believed that Fury’s deal with EA Sports to appear in their UFC 4 title was an exclusive deal, but that doesn’t appear to be the case.
In the real world, Fury will be next seen in action against Deontay Wilder in their trilogy fight on October 9.
The Wythenshawe warrior was supposed to fight the American on July 24, however the fight was postponed after Fury tested positive for the coronavirus.
Fury’s diagnosis was called a ‘lie’ by Wilder, amid a growing war of words between the boxers.
But Tyson fired back on Friday evening with a fresh tirade against the American.

Fury tweeted a picture of Wilder with the phrase: “This man is a real piece of work.
“A real bully excuse maker. Not a warrior or a man at all. Beat the mug 2 times.
“I’ve battered him and his trainer. But still talking s***. Real p******.”

Tyson reckons he’d have Fury’s number in the ring in his prime
BACK to his dangerous best, 6ft 9in Fury beat Wilder in Las Vegas to clinch the WBC and The Ring magazine belts.
But Tyson has been a fan of Fury’s since before his win – having watched the controversial draw in his first fight with Wilder.
Tyson claimed: “In the first fight I was hoping for Tyson Fury, I always pulled for him because he was named after me, that is the natural thing to do, right?
“He amazed a lot of people by getting up. He showed he is tough, he got up and won the final round.
“I thought it was over, then he got up and it was like Rocky, he then fought back.
“It was amazing, it made me a fan. It takes great fortitude and belief.”
But, as with AJ, Tyson revealed he’d beat his namesake if he was in his prime – while admitting it would have been tough.
The American said: “Listen, if you’re asking me if I was 20 years old, then yes, there’s no doubt.
“They’re really good fighters and I respect all these skills. It would have been very tough fighting them.”

THE current WBA, IBF, WBO, and IBO champion, AJ bounced back from his shock defeat to Andy Ruiz Jr last summer to regain his belts in December.
Joshua is a fighter with many strengths and very few weaknesses – and Iron Mike knows it.
Earlier this year, Tyson revealed: “Hey, I really like him. You know what he is? He’s really a breath of fresh air.
“He’s really clean, he really looks clean, he’s a clean guy, he’s a clean fighter, he’s a good puncher.
“You just wish the best for him.
“I don’t know. My ego says, ‘nobody would beat you’ – but you look at him and… he just looks beautiful.
“He just looks like a fighter, you know? He looks like he was born to do what he has to do. He needs more experience of course, but that will come in life.”
Despite remaining fairly tight-lipped on that occasion – while speaking on his Hotboxin’ podcast – Tyson had previously claimed he would easily beat Joshua.
When asked if he’d beat AJ or Fury, Tyson replied: “Yes. Listen, if you’re asking me if I was 20 years old, then yes, there’s no doubt.
“They’re really good fighters and I respect all these skills. It would have been very tough fighting them.”

WILDER slumped to a seventh-round defeat in his last fight – at the hands of Fury – to lose his WBC and The Ring magazine belts.
But despite that, the Bronze Bomber recently claimed his hard-hitting style would see him beat Tyson.
Wilder claimed: “Me vs. Tyson in ’86, I’d kick the hell outta that guy.
“Listen, I’ve got to keep it real. I know people always go back to the old school or look at the new school and there’s no school where I’m not No1 on earth.”
Replying to those comments before his recent defeat by Fury, Tyson was typically diplomatic, saying: “I don’t know [whether I’d beat him].
“I love the fact that he thinks that, because that’s the way I would think as well.
“He’s supposed to think that way, he is the heavyweight champion of the world and that’s something very special.”

But Tyson’s former trainer, Jeff Fenech, was in no doubt as to who would win…
Fenech said: “Boxing’s not the same now. I’d guarantee that if Mike Tyson trained for six weeks, he’d knock Wilder out in a minute.
“He would hit them. If these guys are getting knocked out by Tyson Fury – who’s a great fighter, but not a huge puncher – Tyson would kill these guys.
“They’re not on the same level today. Mike today, I reckon if he trained he could still beat these guys.
“Fury’s got these other skills, but Deontay Wilder’s got a punch and nothing else. If you punch him, it’s over.
“And Mike don’t miss.”

Usyk’s power at heavyweight was questioned following his decision victory over Dereck Chisora last November, but former foe Tony Bellew insists the Ukrainian southpaw packs a hefty enough punch to derail an undisputed title fight between AJ and Tyson Fury.
During an appearance on The DAZN Boxing Show, The Bomber said: “Believe you me mate, he hits hard enough to send me down.
“He’s exceptional. He’s the best I ever faced. He is so technically perfect. His footwork is on another level.”
The retired Bellew was knocked out by Usyk in October 2019 in what proved to be his final outing to the ring.
The Scouser said of his loss: “Sometimes you’ve just got to hold your hands up and say, ‘I lost to the better guy’.
“He is better than me. He is fantastic, phenomenally gifted in everything that he does.”
Usyk is set to train with Vasily Lomachenko’s dad, Anatoly, ahead of his bid to become a two-division world champion.
Bellew reckons the reunion will make Joshua’s night that much harder, telling talkSPORT: “It’s a hard fight, I’m not gonna lie. It’s a very, very hard fight.
“If anything, it’s just got even harder because Usyk has now gone back with Lomachenko’s father.
“That makes it even harder because they will create a game plan that is gonna try and negate everything good that Anthony Joshua does.

“They’re gonna try and take everything away from him.
“That’s what Usyk does so well. He takes away your strengths before he looks at implementing his own strengths.

“So I think it’s a really hard fight, I think it’s really dangerous.”
But the former WBC cruiserweight champion is confident the Brit will get the better of The Cat.
He added: “I think Anthony Joshua will be down on points when he catches up with him. I think he will catch up with him between rounds six and ten – I really do.
“I just think the size is too much, I just think the speed and the power will be too much.
“The thing about Anthony Joshua is he’s now becoming a student of the game.
“He’s putting in extra time, studying. He’s watching the old school fighters.
“He’s a consummate professional, the best-conditioned heavyweight in the world.

“Physically, I would say the best athlete the heavyweight division has seen in 20 years. Without a shadow of a doubt.

Judging by his blistering jab work and technical speed, there may not be many takers.
Reports claim Ruiz Jr is hoping to next fight in September.
He’s said to have held talks with British heavyweight ace Dillian Whyte.
And Ruiz Jr is also thought to be exploring a bout with Luis Ortiz.
However, a trilogy fight with Joshua looks unlikely, with their last meeting occurring over two-and-a-half years ago.
AJ is taking on Oleksandr Usyk on September 25 at Tottenham’s new stadium.
And he will then look to finally collide with Tyson Fury in a heavyweight division unifier.
Another option for Ruiz Jr is Wilder, who will fight the Gypsy King in their own trilogy showdown on October 9.
However, Ruiz Jr’s former trainer believes the Mexican would get laid ‘flat on his back’ by Wilder.

“He’ll be flat on his back and will be hurt. Tyson Fury is a special talent. Andy Ruiz is not yet.

A positive Covid test for Fury scuppered the pair’s July showdown, but Scott believes The Gypsy King’s alleged woes in sparring led to the fight being rescheduled.
During an appearance on The PBC podcast, he said: “Those so-called ‘rumours’ came from legitimate sources.
“When that can lead you to cancelling the fight, having demonic nightmares about fighting Wilder – that’s where the problem is.”
Scott isn’t surprised to hear rumours of Fury being roughed up in sparring given the calibre of partners he brought in for his latest training camp.
He continued: “To his credit, I’m not even big on that.
“He had Jared Anderson in camp with him, he had Efe [Ajagba] in camp with him, he had Christian [Thun] in camp with him.
“When I see all those guys he was in camp with, I knew for sure he was getting touched up.
“I would hope that’s why he was bringing them in, so that he can fight them off and not get touched up, because that’s what you do when you’re trying to prepare for the likes of Deontay Wilder.

“Is it bragging rights to me, or anything like that? Not really. Lots of guys get touched up in sparring. That’s nothing.”
Fury and Wilder, 32 and 35 respectively, will renew their rivalry on October 9 in Las Vegas.
WBC king Fury won the pair’s rematch last February, registering a seventh-round TKO victory over Olympic bronze medallist.
The Brit has vowed to turn in an even better performance in their third meeting, saying: “I gave my game plan away the first time because he wasn’t good enough to do anything about it.
“And I’ll do the same thing this time because he’s not good enough to do anything about it.
