Tommy Fury vows to ‘break every bone in Jake Paul’s face’ for bringing his Love Island girlfriend Molly-Mae into feud

TOMMY FURY vowed to ‘break every bone’ in Jake Paul’s face for dragging his girlfriend Molly-Mae into their online feud. Fury has traded words in a series of videos and posts with the YouTuber with tension building towards an expected fight between the pair.

But Paul made it personal after he shared an alleged private Instagram message from his rival’s partner Molly-Mae.
The ‘screenshot’, from October 2018, read: “Might be coming to America later this year and have always been a fan of your videos. Maybe you can show me around?”
But the Love Island star, who came runner-up with Fury in 2019, hit back and insisted the DM was fake.
Molly-Mae, 22, tweeted in May: “Times must be hard when you’re having to fake a DM…. Photoshop is scary.”
Fury, younger brother to heavyweight champion Tyson, brushed off the viral jabs – but warned Paul will be made to pay for it.
He told Sky Sports: “I’m thick-skinned. I’m a professional athlete. These boys ain’t. These boys play games on the internet and run around for a living.
I’m over the talking. Let’s get it on. Let’s put it to bed. Enough social media chat, which he loves. Let’s get in the ring and fight.Tommy Fury on Jake Paul
“I fight hard for a living. I will let my fists do the talking. For every bad thing he has said, he will get a swift right hand for it.
“I will break every bone in his face. You don’t bring people’s loved ones into it. It’s a fight. It’s nothing to do with them, leave them out of it.”
Paul, 24, is 3-0 in his career, all by knockout, and faces ex-UFC champion Tyron Woodley, 39, next on Sunday August 29 in his home city Cleveland.
Fury, 22, was considered but due to Woodley’s bigger profile Stateside, the American was instead chosen.
But, he has landed a spot on the undercard and will face Paul’s 32-year-old sparring partner Anthony Taylor, an MMA fighter, on his US debut.
The light-heavyweight penned a two-fight deal with American powerhouse Showtime – who also have Paul signed.
It leaves the celebrity pair on course for a PPV fight of their own, should they both prevail later this month.
Fury, who is 6-0, said: “They are doing it to build the fight. I’m here and I want the fight. I will take it in a heartbeat.

Bridges enjoys weighing in wearing lingerie and believes ’embracing her femininity’ will help bring more eyeballs to women’s boxing.

The daring look was unsurprisingly a hit on social media, although much of the focus was on promoter Hearn as he seemed to desperately try to avoid looking at her.
One commented: “Eddie using absolutely every piece of strength he had to not look.”
Another wrote: “Eddie’s wife has him well warned lol”, while a third added: “Eddie looked at everyone in the room apart from Bridges.”
Even Bridges herself reposted the picture of Hearn at the weigh-in alongside the caption: “Best meme wins!”
Connolly was quizzed about her opponent’s unique pre-fight antics and joked that she will be asking for tips to improve her social media.

She said: “I need to get some tips from her don’t I?
“I’m definitely going to pick her brains after this fight because she’s clearly a hustler and she’s done a really good job of it.
“We’re completely different women in our approach, I’m a complete technophobe and I’ve only just figured out Instagram but I do need that stuff.
“There’s room for everyone in this sport, there is room for everyone so if she’s not your type of fighter just don’t talk about it, there’s no need to get gobby.”

Team GB star Pat McCormack (left) came up short in his gold medal bout against Roniel Iglesias
Meanwhile welterweight Pat McCormack scooped the silver medal after being outpointed by Cuba’s Roniel Iglesias.
And the pair, who both won the gold medal in the 2018 Commonwealth Games, are now set to enter the paid ranks.
Speaking to talkSPORT, Clarke, who missed out on London 2012 and Rio 2016 to Anthony Joshua and Joe Joyce, said: “The next step I think everyone knows.
“People have been waiting for me to go professional for a few years I think.
“It’s come a year later than I would’ve liked it to, maybe a couple, but the next step on the journey is definitely the professional route.
“I’m experienced now, I’ve been at the pinnacle of amateur boxing, I’ve got three of the four major medals. I can look back on my amateur career with a lot of pride.
“And I can go into the next step, start again at the bottom and work my way up.”
McCormack, 26, has also declared his amateur days are now behind him as he looks to challenge for major honours as a professional.

He told Sky Sports: “A bit disappointing it wasn’t the gold medal, that’s what I’ve come for, but now the dust has settled, I’m happy with my silver, I’m proud of it.
“I’ve medalled at World Championships, European Championships, Commonwealths, Olympics. I’ve medalled at them all. So this was the last medal to add to the list, and I’m ready for what’s next.
“I’ve come here for gold, I just missed out, but in the pros I’ll definitely be in for a world title further down the line.
“I know it’s going to take a few years to build into, but if you’re not in for a world title then there’s no point of being in the game.”
In a separate interview with the Scotsman, he remarked: “I’m ready for the pro ranks now.
“It’s been a long time coming. Obviously with the lockdown and everything, it got pushed back a year.
“I was hoping to be professional now but I’m an Olympic silver medallist. It’s a good platform to turn pro.”

Tyson Fury says he was ‘dying inside’ after winning world titles from Klitschko as he urges mental health awareness

TYSON FURY has revealed that he was ‘dying inside’ after beating Wladimir Klitschko in 2015.And the WBC heavyweight champion also urged people to look after their mental health.

Undefeated Fury beat the legendary Ukrainian in Germany to become champ for the first time.
But the win didn’t leave him feeling fulfilled.
Accompanying a picture of himself holding the belts that night, he wrote on Twitter: “Never judge someone by their exterior look.
“I looked on top of the world 🌎 but inside I was dying. #mentalhealth #JUSTASK.”
Fury, now 32, was diagnosed with obsessive compulsive disorder and bipolar in 2016.
And amid struggles with depression which led to alcohol and cocaine abuse, Fury’s weight rose to 28 stone.
Since making an incredible recovery, helped by loyal wife Paris, Fury has tried to use his platform to promote mental health awareness.
On his own experiences, he told the BBC last year: “I had a massive anxiety attack and ended up in hospital.
I poured my heart out and got back up off the floor and felt like a new manTyson Fury
“A few people came down to see me and I was delirious. I was unwell for two months; I was terrified of everything. My dad came to live with me as I was too scared to live on my own. I couldn’t sleep with the light off.”
A Halloween night out in 2017 turned out to be the turning point for Fury.
He explained: “I put a drink to my mouth and saw all young kids out – university age kids – and I thought what are you doing? I put the beer down and left and went home.
“I started crying for 20 minutes asking for help. I poured my heart out and got back up off the floor and felt like a new man.”

He then concluded: “I had to face the fact I was in denial about my behaviour at times and the lifelong fight I’ve had with depression.
“I know how dark it can get, but I also know there is light, there is hope.”
Fury is back in action in October, when he aims to finally put his trilogy with Deontay Wilder to bed in Las Vegas.

Andy Ruiz Jr looks unrecognisable in amazing throwback snap with pal Oscar Valdez leaving fans in shock at his change

ANDY RUIZ JR has posted a brilliant throwback on Instagram depicting himself alongside fellow boxer Oscar Valdez. The fighting pair almost look unrecognisable in the post, with both sporting shaved heads in the photo from a few years ago.
Andy Ruiz Jr. and Oscar Valdez used to sport quite menacing looks
The Mexican pair now look a lot more trim and mature
Both also boast a lot more tattoos now than they did back then, and that is not the only thing that has changed.
Ruiz Jr, 31, has lost a huge amount of weight in the intervening years, with most of the weight loss happening after his defeat to Anthony Joshua in December 2019.
The Mexican became heavyweight world champion after he defeated AJ in their first encounter in Madison Square Gardens.
Valdez, 30, won the WBO featherweight title in July 2016 and has retained the belt on ten occasions.
And after defeating Miguel Berchelt in February he also secured the WBC super featherweight title.
Because of their achievements and the change in look, Ruiz Jr. captioned his Instagram post: “We’ve come a long way.” He also tagged his compatriot in the post.
The pair are a similar age and have shared their boxing journey, with Ruiz Jr. fighting Devin Vargas on the undercard of Valdez’s March 10 2018 bout with Britain’s Scott Quigg.

Usyk will ‘never be a fully-fledged heavyweight’ despite dramatic transformation for Anthony Joshua bout, says Hearn

EDDIE HEARN insists Oleksandr Usyk will ‘never be a fully-fledged heavyweight’ – despite the Ukrainian’s dramatic body transformation. The former undisputed cruiserweight champion has slapped on several pounds of muscle ahead of his unified heavyweight title fight with Anthony Joshua next month.

Former cruiserweight king Usyk has put on a considerable amount of muscle ahead of the fightCredit: Instagram @usykaa
But The Cat’s bulkier physique has done little to convince Hearn he can hang with the big boys.
During an appearance on talkSPORT, the Matchroom Boxing chief said: “I think that Usyk will never be a fully-fledged heavyweight – a real heavyweight in terms of size.”
Hearn, like many others, believes what the undefeated Usyk lacks in size he makes up with in skill.
He said of the slick southpaw: “What he will always have is a huge amount of skill.
“It takes time for people to bed into heavyweight, so put it this way, it would’ve been a lot easier fight for AJ a year-and-a-half ago.
“Now Usyk has fought a real heavyweight contender in Chisora, that will actually help him to start to understand what needs to be done.
“But AJ’s a different kind of beast. A good big guy will always beat a good small guy, so we’ll see.”
Usyk’s chances of upsetting the applecart and beating Joshua have been written off by many, but not his old cruiserweight foe Tony Bellew.
I think that Usyk will never be a fully-fledged heavyweight Eddie Hearn on Oleksandr Usyk
The Bomber told DAZN: “Believe you me, mate, he hits hard enough to send me down.
“He’s exceptional. He’s the best I ever faced. He is so technically perfect. His footwork is on another level.”
Bellew, however, expects AJ to have his hand raised at the end of the night, saying: “It’s a hard fight, I’m not gonna lie. It’s a very, very hard fight.
“If anything, it’s just got even harder because Usyk has now gone back with Lomachenko’s father.
“That makes it even harder because they will create a game plan that is gonna try and negate everything good that Anthony Joshua does.
“They’re gonna try and take everything away from him.
“That’s what Usyk does so well. He takes away your strengths before he looks at implementing his own strengths.
“And by taking away your strengths, you’re lost. The things he does with his feet – he’s exceptional.
“So I think it’s a really hard fight, I think it’s really dangerous.”
    “TOO MUCH”
He added: “I think Anthony Joshua will be down on points when he catches up with him.
“I think he will catch up with him between rounds six and ten – I really do.
“I just think the size is too much, I just think the speed and the power will be too much.
“The thing about Anthony Joshua is he’s now becoming a student of the game.
“He’s putting in extra time, studying. He’s watching the old school fighters.
“He’s a consummate professional, the best-conditioned heavyweight in the world.
“Physically, I would say the best athlete the heavyweight division has seen in 20 years. Without a shadow of a doubt.

“All he needs to click up on now is his actual boxing IQ and that’s getting better and better.

Tyson Fury not bothered by Anthony Joshua fight collapse OR Deontay Wilder Covid postponement due to ‘great mentality’

TYSON FURY hasn’t been adversely affected by the collapse of his super-fight with Anthony Joshua or the delay of his third clash with Deontay Wilder. The Gypsy King was due to face Joshua in a blockbuster undisputed title fight a week tomorrow but was ordered to have a trilogy fight with Wilder.

And the Gypsy King’s was forced to postpone hs trilogy fight with Deontay Wilder after contracting Covid-19Credit: AFP
Fury’s third encounter with The Bronze Bomber, however, ended up being postponed until October after he tested positive for Covid-19.
But according to the Brit’s co-promoter Bob Arum, neither spanner thrown into the works has riled the WBC king.
The 89-year-old told Sky Sports: “I’m not a psychiatrist but I spent considerable time with Fury after the arbitrator’s decision then after his diagnosis.
“It seemed to me he wasn’t affected by anything.
“Tyson had a great mentality and none of these issues have any effect. None of this has affected him adversely.”
With the benefit of hindsight, Arum admits negligence on Fury and Top Rank’s part led to the postponement of the third Wilder fight.
He said: “It was negligence on all of ours parts – Top Rank’s and Tyson’s.
“It started out with a nice, relatively small group, of sparring partners in our gym.
It seemed to me he wasn’t affected by anythingBob Arum on Tyson Fury
“Before anybody realised the sparring partners were bringing in friends and [Fury’s trainer] Sugarhill Steward had other fighters that he was training. Nobody was testing.
“It was going on the way we used to do it, before Covid. That was irresponsible on all of our parts.
“Tyson had a relatively mild case but had heavy breathing and congestion.
“There was no choice but to postpone it.
“We are hoping the bans on travel will be lifted and we will get some Brits over for the fight. They bring such a vibe to an arena.”
The Top Rank chief insists the same mistake won’t be made ahead of the October 9 bout, saying: “We are experts on the bubble. We invented the bubble before the NBA did.
“The gym will be a complete bubble. Nobody is getting in without a test.

“Sparring partners are not allowed to bring their entourages. We won’t have Sugarhill training six or seven other people.
