Watch Deontay Wilder show off explosive power and accuracy in training as he prepares for Tyson Fury trilogy fight

The third instalment of Fury vs Wilder is now set to take place on October 9, but the American has seemingly not taken any time off following the rescheduling of their July showdown.
Wilder’s coach Malik Scott recently shared a clip of them drilling combinations on the pads to his Instagram page.
The clip showed the Bronze Bomber landing thunderous shots, which he mixed in with some nice footwork.
Boxing fans were quick to comment, with one saying: “He looks good on the pads but let’s see how he deals with the pressure of someone walking towards him.
“Can he move his head and counter punch? Will he able to keep his balance and stay on his feet?
“Will his stamina be affected from moving around more?”
Another said: “He looks so uncomfortable this just doesn’t come natural to him sorry but learning how to box a bit isn’t going change nothing he’ll just go back to his wild swings, Tyson gonna beat his ass again.”

And another said: “Hopefully his power is still there and he does well.”
One remarked: “That’s right take your title back.”
Fan favourite Fury registered a stunning seventh-round stoppage of Wilder in their rematch last February, which saw him complete a fairytale return to the summit of the sport.
And the Brit’s cousin expects Andy Lee him to turn in an even better display in their third clash.
He told iFL TV: “I think he’ll do it earlier than he did the first time.
“But I still think it’ll be an extremely dangerous fight because Wilder will be fresh and highly motivated.

“He’ll probably be motivated by having a new trainer, learning new things.
“He’ll probably be enthusiastic now, but I still don’t know how he’s [Wilder] going to recover mentally from that fight.
“It’s going to take a huge effort mentally to come back from that defeat and the manner of that defeat the first time.”

Tyson Fury is not on Anthony Joshua’s mind ‘right now’ as world champion gears up for tricky test against Oleksandr Usyk

ANTHONY JOSHUA has put his failed showdown with Tyson Fury to the back of his mind as he gears up for his clash with Oleksandr Usyk, according to his physio Rob Madden.AJ was due to face his fellow Brit in a multi-million-pound undisputed heavyweight title bout this weekend before Fury was ordered to have a trilogy fight with Deontay Wilder.

Joshua is now preparing for a September defence of his unified titles against the undefeated Usyk and is focused solely on becoming the first man to defeat to former undisputed cruiserweight champ.
Madden told The Daily Mail: “I’m not going to lie, it was disappointing for everyone. I was disappointed, obviously AJ very much so.
‘He was ready, he wanted it, we were planning for it. But this is boxing, it’s full of politics.
“Fury’s not on our minds right now; he can do what he’s doing and we’ll be ready when he is.
“But Usyk is a tough opponent who demands respect – which he has from AJ and the team.
“And having that focus is crucial, because Usyk is not a nobody. If you know boxing, you know Usyk is a very, very talented fighter.”
Fury’s not on our minds right nowAnthony Joshua’s physio, Rob Madden
Joshua, 31, launched a blistering attack on Fury after the collapse of their long-awaited Battle of Britain, tweeting: “@Tyson_Fury the world now sees you for the fraud you are. You’ve let boxing down!
“You lied to the fans and led them on. Used my name for clout not a fight.
“Bring me any championship fighter who can handle their business correctly.”
But the unified champ is now relishing the opportunity to hand fellow Olympic gold medallist Usyk his first professional loss.
He said: “The date is set and we are fully locked in.

Mike Tyson blasted for being too stoned to speak during Hotboxin’ podcast with Khabib after smoking ‘whole bag of weed’

FANS have claimed that Mike Tyson was ‘too stoned to speak’ during his recent Hotboxin’ podcast with Khabib Nurmagomedov.Iron Mike – who recently sat down with the former UFC champion – runs his own marijuana ranch and has revealed he smokes £33,000 of weed every month.
Fans have claimed that Mike Tyson was too stoned to speak to Khabib Nurmagomedov
Iron Mike smoking is a signature of his highly popular Hotboxin’ podcast
The former heavyweight champ has also been selling cannabis products since 2016 that are as potent as one of his uppercuts.
Tyson often incorporates the class-C drug into his podcast with the interviews regularly taking place in a ‘studio full of smoke’.
The 55-year-old didn’t light up during his latest appearance out of respect for Khabib – who is a devout Muslim and does not drink or take any other substances.
But many fans speculated that this meant Tyson got high beforehand, and as a result, left co-host Henry Cejudo to facilitate much of the conversation.

One commented: “Are we just gonna ignore the fact that Mike apparently smoked the whole bag of weed before the podcast to not disrespect Khabib while talking to him, but it ended in Mike just not talking for almost the whole podcast because he’s high asf?”
Another joked: “Mike’s been visiting the spiritual realm. He was there in physical form, but spiritually, he was on another planet.”
A third added: “Man its sad that Mike was so high in this interview. He didn’t contribute much and he’s normally so eloquent.
“I get it’s hotboxin but at this point triple C pretty much had to take control as Mike was in his own dimension…”
