Tyson Fury’s dad John says he WALKED OUT of Tommy’s fight camp just weeks before Anthony Taylor bout after wedding row

JOHN FURY walked out of son Tommy’s training camp after he defied orders not to attend his girlfriend’s mum’s wedding.Tommy – the younger brother of Gypsy King Tyson – will make his Stateside bow this weekend against MMA fighter Anthony Taylor on the undcard of Jake Paul’s clash with Tyron Woodley this weekend.

But the Love Islander disrupted his training to celebrate the mother of his other half – Molly-Mae Hague – getting hitched.
Doting dad John was sent up the wall by his son’s decision to attend the wedding, telling BT Sport: “We had a blow-up the other day.
“He went to his girlfriend’s mother’s wedding and I told him not to go, I said, ‘We’re in camp, if you’re going to do that I’m out of here!’
“I left for two days, it takes me two days to calm down because all these people don’t know nothing about the fight game.
“They’re reality TV people, they know nothing about where I’m coming from and it upsets me because you can only do one thing in the boxing world and that’s perfect what you train to do.
“They don’t call it training for nowt, you can’t go for a party and then come back, it ain’t rehearsal.

“And then you’re under the bright lights and everybody there wants to see you get knocked out and everybody’s shouting abuse you need to be on top of your game.
“He is on top of his game, with me he is anyway, because if he didn’t want to train how I want to train I’d say ‘there’s the door, go through it,’ and I’d be out of there.”
Tommy, 22, will look to stake his claim for a big-money showdown against Paul in his clash with Taylor.
John challenged the YouTuber to fight his son in June, saying: “Good on Jake Paul for doing what he’s doing.
He went to his girlfriend’s mother’s wedding and I told him not to goJohn Fury on son Tommy
“At the end of the day, good luck to the kid.
“He’s game enough to get in the ring. Any man who gets in the ring is a game man.
“But listen, it’s a big difference coming from no crowd to a big crowd.
“It’s a first night out for them, they’re very noisy. It’s brand new for him [Tommy].
“But Jake Paul, we’ll have you next mate.

Logan Paul next fight: Five bouts after Floyd Mayweather including Chris Hemsworth, his brother Jake & shock UFC switch

LOGAN PAUL is thinking about his next fight having shared the ring with all-time great Floyd Mayweather. The YouTuber’s last bout was the Miami exhibition with Mayweather as he survived all eight rounds to take it the distance.
Logan Paul is already thinking about his next fightCredit: AFP
Having faced, and technically avoided defeat, against the one of the best and most lucrative boxers of all time, the question begs what next?
Just days removed from his showcase bout with Mayweather, Paul wrote on Instagram ‘no seriously who’s next’.
And here SunSport runs down the likely options for the social media sensation.
    Jake Paul
Paul has been followed into the ring by his little brother Jake, who has a better record winning all three of his fights by knockout.
The polarising pair appear to have no bounds when it comes to entertainment, leaving them both open to facing each other.
It would be a bizarre, unprecedented and undeniable financial success, all key elements of what makes the internet sensations tick.
But they have admitted their parents are against the idea, and even their close relationship may rule it out.
For now, Jake, 24, fights ex-UFC champion Tyron Woodley, 39, on August 29 and will no doubt have the support of Logan, 26, when he does.

    Dillon Danis
Danis is a 2-0 Bellator welterweight and a jujitsu expert, but he is most commonly known for being Conor McGregor’s training partner.
The American, 27, has also rivalled the Paul brothers online, mostly with Jake before trading words with Logan.
Jake has admitted he is moving on from the idea of boxing Danis leaving the door open for Logan.
And with Logan fancying a move to MMA, he could even take Danis on in the cage, with Bellator open to the idea.
But Danis is also eyeing a boxing debut, meaning he could meet Logan in the ring as well.

    Chris Hemsworth
Thor star Hemsworth is renowned for his impeccable physique and uses boxing in his training regiment.
And after footage of the actor hitting the pads surfaced in January, Paul called him out.
He tweeted: “I’ll fight him after mayweather.”
Aussie Hemsworth, 37, never responded to the challenge, but the offer could still be open.
Chris Hemsworth was once called out by Logan Paul

    Antonio Brown
Paul was in line to fight the NFL wide receiver in early 2020, with the pair even facing off in a nightclub on Super Bowl weekend.
Sports streaming service DAZN were driving talks, with Paul releasing a diss track and Brown starting training in the gym.
But the fight soon fell apart with Brown returning to the NFL by signing with Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
A year prior, he was released by New England Patriots as an investigation was launched into allegations of sexual assault made against him.

    KSI
Paul’s boxing career started with a 2018 white collar bout against online rival KSI, which ended in a draw in Manchester.
They turned professional a year later, with little experience, and KSI emerged victorious by scrappy split-decision.
A two point deduction for hitting and holding cost Paul the result on the cards, and still left some dispute around the fight.
KSI, 27, has remained uninterested in a trilogy and instead turned his attention to Jake.

    Badou Jack
Jack is a two-weight champion and recorded a win on the undercard of Paul’s exhibition with Mayweather.
Putting the Swedish-born in against the celebrity boxer would be a waste of everyone’s time and reckless.
But it did not stop heavyweight legend Mike Tyson from urging Paul to fight Jack, 37, despite the skill disparity.
Tyson said: “I’m trying to get Logan Paul to fight Badou Jack. I wanna see what he says about that.”
Jack, promoted by Mayweather, saw the funny side of it as he tweeted: “LOL @MikeTyson wants me to fight Logan Paul.”

    UFC switch
Paul was an accomplished high school wrestler and has made it no secret his grappling experience makes a move into the cage more suitable.
He said after fighting Mayweather: “I’d do MMA, for sure, because I am a good grappler. You know, I’m a wrestler at heart.”
UFC president Dana White always maintained he would NEVER do business with either Paul brother.
But for the first time, White appeared to at least be considering whether or not to give Logan a shot in the octagon.
He told TMZ: “Here’s the thing, not to say that I haven’t taken a guy in that’s been 0-0 into the UFC and done those types of fights before. I don’t know.”

Logan Paul says brother Jake is ‘bigger puncher’ but YouTubers reveal ‘our parents don’t want us to fight each other’

LOGAN PAUL admitted brother Jake is the ‘bigger puncher’ but the YouTubers revealed ‘our parents don’t want us to fight each other’. The Pauls have both forged out polarising prizefighting careers in recent years and have even teased a fight between them.

Jake, 24, is currently 3-0 as a boxer, all by knockout and faces UFC star Tyron Woodley, 39, in his fourth and biggest fight to date on August 29.
Logan, 26, is officially 0-1, losing his professional debut to online rival KSI after they drew a year prior in a white collar bout.
But he then took boxing legend Floyd Mayweather, 44, the distance in their contentious exhibition in June.
With the Pauls a hotter commodity than ever in the fight game, again they were quizzed on fighting each other.
Jake said: “My record’s better, that’s what I’ll say.
“Bigger puncher? I think we both crack people. I saw him knock down this kid in sparring.”
    Jake Paul’s boxing ‘hit-list’

Logan responded to Jake: “I actually think you’re the bigger puncher.”
Asked on one day sharing the ring, Jake said: “You know, people always ask us this and I just think it depends on how the cookie crumbles.
“Our parents don’t want us to fight each other. But I think sometimes there is you know that thing in the gym where it’s like, ‘Who’s better?’
“We might have to be the first brother duo that actually fight because I know the Charlos don’t do it, the Klitschkos didn’t do it.”

Jake Paul net worth 2021 – how much money has he made from boxing career and what is the payday for Tyron Woodley fight?

JAKE PAUL is set to take the boxing world by storm once again this weekend with a fight against Tyron Woodley. Paul, 3-0 as a fighter, takes on former UFC champ Woodley in his toughest test to date yet.

The YouTube sensation is the betting favourite going into the fight, but 39-year-old Woodley poses a genuine threat to Paul’s unblemished record.
One thing that’s for certain, however, is that Paul stands to make another hefty pay-day.
What is Jake Paul’s net worth?
Jake Paul had been making a healthy amount of money before his boxing career took off.
But now that the 24-year-old looks to be an established PPV star, Paul is earning boat-loads in the ring too.
According to Celebrity Net Worth, Paul’s net worth amounts to around £15million.

Paul launched his online career back in 2013 which his equally wealthy brother Logan, with the pair making a name for themselves on social media app Vine.
The pair also have millions of YouTube subscribers and followers in TikTok.
And then in 2019, Paul had his debut as a boxer, fighter AnEsonGib on a Matchroom USA card, beating the fellow YouTuber in the first round.
In 2017, Paul started Team 10, his very own digital influencer platform, which acts as a entertainment promotional tool for teenagers.
How much is Jake Paul being paid to fight Tyron Woodley?
Paul is expected to make a lot of cash for his fight with Woodley, who also stands to earn big.
For his fight with Ben Askren, who Paul knocked out in one round earlier this year, Paul’s purse was £500,000 – a huge amount for a fighter so early on in their career.
Paul would’ve had made more than that once a cut of the pay-per-view revenue came in too, with the fight being broadcasted on Triller.

Since then, Paul signed a multi-fight promotional deal with Showtime in the U.S., and he now stands to make more for his fights moving forward.
Paul’s purse for the Woodley fight will likely come close to £1million, and he’s also going to take home a share of the pay-per-view revenue.
Said revenue should also be higher than what was made for the Askren fight, with Showtime a more well-known brand than Triller. More

Jake Paul slams ’embarrassing’ performance enhancing drugs accusations and says allegations are ‘excuses’ for his wins

JAKE PAUL slammed ’embarrassing’ performance enhancing drugs accusations and said the allegations are ‘excuses’ for his wins. The YouTuber is 3-0 as a boxer, all by knockout and faces ex-UFC champion Tyron Woodley in his fourth and biggest fight to date on August 29.

And heading into it, MMA coach Firas Zahabi claimed Paul is ‘gonna be on PEDs’ in an accusation laughed off by the YouTuber.
Paul responded on The Last Stand podcast: “Yeah so I woke up a couple of mornings ago and my manager sent me that headline and said, ‘Hey hope you see this’.
“So I first swiped up on my phone and typed in ‘what are PEDs’. This is honestly hilarious, how many excuses are they gonna make?
“People were saying ‘Ben Askren is going to beat Jake Paul’, ‘Nate Robinson is the betting favourite he is just a YouTuber’.
“They just know now that I am coming for their five-time UFC champion, I am gonna knock him out and they are trying to make up any excuse they possibly can.
“Its a real professional fight with commissions and drug testing, so how are these people coming up with that?
“I am looking at it as a compliment as I am making light work of these people, and they are running out of excuses.”
How Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley compare ahead of their boxing match

Paul, 24, has beaten online rival ‘AnEsonGib’, ex-NBA star Nate Robinson, 37, and retired UFC fighter Ben Askren, 37.
But Woodley, 39, will provide his toughest fight to date when they headline in his hometown of Cleveland.
The Ohio Athletic Commission will require urinalysis before and after the bout from both fighters.
But Zahabi – who famously coached UFC legend Georges St-Pierre – still levelled allegations that Paul will be free to use PEDs.
He said on his YouTube channel: “That’s one of my number one factors. I think Jake Paul’s corner, they’re gonna be on all sorts of substances.
“I was holding back, I didn’t want to say. I don’t think they test.
This is honestly hilarious, how many excuses are they gonna make?Jake Paul on PED accusations
“Maybe the week of the fight, but there’s no USADA and I didn’t wanna say, but I think that’s a major factor.
“When I tell you guys he’s bigger and stronger and more athletic, I think, basically, he’s gonna be on PEDs.
“I hate to say it, but I definitely think Jake Paul’s gonna be on PEDs.
“It exists in the world of boxing just like it exists in MMA, and I don’t think Tyron will be on PEDs.
“I think Tyron will be totally natural. Does it make a difference? It absolutely does.”

Tommy Fury’s opponent says Love Island star isn’t ‘cut from same cloth’ as brother Tyson and is ‘a disrespect’ to boxing

TOMMY FURY was accused of not being ‘cut from the same cloth’ as his brother Tyson. And Anthony Taylor, who faces Fury on August 29 on Jake Paul’s undercard, blasted that the 2019 Love Island star is ‘a disrespect’ to boxing.

Anthony Taylor fights Tommy Fury on Jake Paul’s undercard
Taylor, 32, told Sky Sports: “You don’t expect Michael Jordan’s kids to be the next Jordan. Don’t expect Tommy to be the next Tyson.
“They’re just not cut from the same cloth. He is a disrespect to the sport. He’s not a boxer. A boxer doesn’t fight guys with 10 wins and 126 losses!
“You don’t see Ryan Garcia fighting guys on his debut with zero wins and 26 losses.
“Tell me I can’t beat those fighters that Tommy has beaten already?
“Without Tyson bringing up his brother’s name, who was Tommy? We never even knew that Tyson had a brother who was a boxer.”
Incidentally, lightweight sensation Garcia, the fighter Taylor references, boxed an opponent with ZERO fights on his debut.

And in his two bouts following, the now-21-year-old’s opponents had a combined record of five losses, one draw and no wins.
Fury, 22, is 6-0 and has fought mostly journeyman opposition, a common occurrence for boxer at the start of his career.
And he will face Taylor, 32, on the same bill as Paul, with the view of fighting the YouTuber afterwards.
Paul headlines the night against ex-UFC champion Tyron Woodley, 39, but has feuded with Fury in recent months.
And ahead of the pay-per-view, he took aim at his online rival once more.
Paul, 24, said: “He boxes because he was told to do so by his dad. He doesn’t have that real heart, that real fighter inside of him.
“He is doing this because it’s something his brother did. It’s something his dad did and he sees it as a way to make some money.
“If we ever get into the ring, I’m going to expose him.”

In the post-fight press conference, he said: “In the future, you may not see Manny Pacquiao fight again in the ring.

Inside Jake Paul’s ‘paradise’ Puerto Rico training camp where YouTuber sparred Tommy Fury’s opponent Anthony Taylor

JAKE PAUL says he is training in ‘paradise’ by preparing to fight Tyron Woodley in Puerto Rico. The YouTuber moved to the Caribbean island with his brother Logan earlier in the year, to escape the distractions of Los Angeles.

Paul, 3-0 as a boxer all by knockout, has set up shop in Big Bear California, Las Vegas and Miami for his three prior fights.
All of those are considered training hotspots Stateside, with countless sparring partners and gyms to choose from.
But the social media sensation decided to relocate over 3,000 miles away to swap the bright lights of America for the local village life in Puerto Rico.
Paul, 24, told SunSport: “I’ve loved every one of my training camps.
“I think isolation has been the biggest key to a successful training camp and not having any distractions. And Puerto Rico is an amazing place for that.
“There’s hyper-focus down, even if you want to do something fun, sometimes there’s not really much going on.
    Jake Paul’s boxing ‘hit-list’

“When I was in Miami for the Ben Askren training camp, there was like 100 people on the weekends, trying to get me to do something.
“Even that energy to respond to them, to say, ‘Hey, no I can’t come out’. Even that is a distraction in of itself.
“I love it down here, the runs are amazing on the beach, this is a magical, paradise of a place to get your mind right and to just focus on the task ahead.”
Paul is coached by head trainer BJ Flores – a former cruiserweight contender – and super-middleweight boxer JLeon Love.
Also a regular fixture in his camp is Anthony Taylor – a 7-5 MMA fighter.
Taylor, 32, provided Paul with sparring before he beat Ben Askren, 37, in April and has done the same for his return against Woodley, 39.
More interestingly, the Bellator lightweight will fight on the undercard against Britain’s Tommy Fury.

The idea is to have Fury, 22, announce himself to the US market and build towards a potential fight with Paul, who he has rivalled in recent months.
And fighting Paul’s sparring partner and friend Taylor only adds fuel to the feud.
But, following countless rounds of sparring together, the American warned Fury could be stopped in his tracks.
Paul said: “Anthony is a great fighter, he’s a tough kid and I think Tommy has a very hard fight against him coming up, and I think he’s underestimating his opponent.
“I think that’s a terrible thing to do, and I want Anthony to win.
“I want him to beat Tommy, and be like, ‘Yo, Tommy, you can’t even beat my sparring partner, who are you going to beat me?’
“It’s going to be a fun one one to watch.”

Paul faces undoubtedly his toughest test to date in the form of Woodley, a former UFC welterweight champion.
With wins over fellow YouTuber ‘AnEsonGib’, ex-NBA player Nate Robinson, 37, and retired UFC fighter Ben Askren, 37, there are still question marks over his legitimacy as a fighter.
But not only does Paul plan to continue answering his critics in the ring, he has now set his sights on unthinkably going all the way in the sport.
He said: “The end-game now is to become a world champion, just to say I did it because everyone said I couldn’t.
“To get a world championship belt and to make history and leave an everlasting impact on this sport, create amazing events, and cards and fights that people remember forever.
    “And to retire on top.”
