Tyson Fury says Anthony Joshua so ripped he looks like a ‘chicken nugget’ and admits he is jealous of rival’s body

TYSON FURY has labelled Anthony Joshua a ‘chicken nugget’ as he took aim at his heavyweight rival’s chiseled physique. The two Brits looked set to clash in an undisputed fight during the summer before an arbitrator ruled that Fury had to take on Deontay Wilder for a third time – a dust-up that will now take place on October 9 in Las Vegas.

The Gypsy King has admitted he is jealous of Joshua’s physique
Meanwhile, Joshua is concentrating on WBO mandatory challenger Oleksandr Usyk, who he will face at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on September 25.
Yet despite their respective fights drawing closer, that has not stopped them from taking aim at one another.
Joshua has blamed Fury for being the reason behind their clash collapsing, an opinion that was put to the WBC champion.
Speaking to Gary Neville on The Overlap, Fury joked: “Yeah, I backed out and I admit it. I’m scared of him.
“I fought the best men in the world in their prime and beat them, but I’m scared of this plum.
“I’m gonna call him a chicken nugget, just because he’s ripped and I’m jealous.”

Fury and AJ will look to fight one another if they come through Wilder and Usyk.
Wilder recently accused Fury of faking Covid in order to postpone their bout from July to October.
The Brit was forced to delay the trilogy fight after testing positive for coronavirus, something the American still refuses to believe.
Speaking to 78SPORTSTV, Wilder said: “So many have died of COVID.
“To hear others using this as an excuse is just horrible. May they burn in hell for that.
“They contradict themselves so many times, it’s just ridiculous at this point.”

The pair fought to a controversial draw back in December 2018 in Los Angeles, a clash many felt Fury won after he climbed off the canvas in a dramatic 12th round.
They then went their separate ways with two fights apiece before getting back into the ring with one another 14 months later in Las Vegas.
And this time Fury was able to decisively rip the belt away from Wilder as he dominated the American, eventually stopping him in the seventh round.

Floyd Mayweather ‘REFUSING to let Gervonta Davis fight Ryan Garcia’ and Tank ‘doesn’t want anyone tough’

UNBEATEN boxer Ryan Garcia has claimed that he is unlikely to face rival Gervonta Davis as his promoter Floyd Mayweather is BLOCKING the fight. The 23-year-old called out the WBA lightweight and super-lightweight champion earlier this year after stopping British star Luke Campbell.

Tank, 26, accepted his fight offer shortly after in a now-deleted tweet where he told his American compatriot ‘Shut up and get ready’.
But Garcia, who boasts a 21-0 record with 18 knockouts, has stated that a bout between the two isn’t in the works.
He even claimed that three-weight world champion Davis, who has blasted away 24 out of his 25 opponents, doesn’t want to fight ‘anybody tough’.
Speaking in an Instagram live to his 8.8 million followers, Garcia was asked how many times would he like to compete a year.
To which he said: “I would love to have three, but the way my career has been going, it’s been one or two.
“I want to KO everyone; I don’t discriminate. Everyone, I want to KO.

“I do beat [Gervonta] Davis, but he’s not going to fight anybody outside of Mayweather Promotions, is what Floyd said.
“You guys got to stop commenting about that because Gervonta is never going to fight anybody that you really want him to fight.
“So let’s kill that right now. Floyd gave that away.
“He doesn’t want to fight anybody tough. It’s just not in his [Davis] nature, I guess.”
Davis was involved in a terrifying plane incident last month where his private jet crashed during its take-off, but he miraculously escaped unhurt.

Discussing the botched take-off to his followers, he recalled: “The plane crashed. The plane didn’t even take off. It took off, but it didn’t take off. Oh my god.
“I’m good, it’s just that my a** is hot, I’m sitting on this hot-ass concrete. I’m sweating, I’m shaking. This s*** is crazy, bro.

Tyson Fury claims he has just ‘two or three’ fights left despite wanting FIVE more bouts including Anthony Joshua

TYSON FURY claimed he has just two or three fights left in his career – despite previously wanting five more. The WBC champion is set to return to the ring on October 9 in a trilogy bout with Deontay Wilder.
Tyson Fury speaking to Sky Sports’ Gary NevilleCredit: YouTube: The Overlap
He dethroned the American in 2020 after their draw two years prior and was contracted to a third bout.
The immediate rematch was enforced by a judge after Fury tried to walk away and instead fight Anthony Joshua.
With Wilder again around the corner, and AJ looming afterwards, the Gypsy King said he is running out of challengers to face.
He told Gary Neville’s The Overlap: “Everybody wants to talk to me about the Joshua fight. They don’t care about the fight that I’m having.
“All of a sudden, they want me to look over what I’m doing and then get chinned. I’m laid on my back flat by Wilder and he’s taking my position.
“I’ve only got, two, three fights left, because there’s no more challenges. They’ve all been beaten.
“I’ve got Wilder next and provided I get through that, then I’ve got AJ.”

Fury, 33, has previously talked about retiring after fighting Wilder, 35, again and then Joshua, 31.
But in a separate interview, he then teased continuing into his 40s much like Wladimir Klitschko did, the man he upset in 2015.
Fury’s most recent reveal saw him name Joshua, Dillian Whyte and even Derek Chisora, who he has twice beat before, as part of his five-fight plan.
He said: “I have a bucket list and my next five fights in mind.
“I am going to have a December fight after this, because Joshua won’t happen then, it’ll happen in March.
“It’s Wilder on October 9 – Dillian Whyte in December in a UK stadium where I will shut him up once and for all.
“Then Joshua in March in Saudi Arabia and then a rematch back here in Wembley. Then I will fight Chisora in my fifth and final fight.”

Chris Eubank Jr says Billy Joe Saunders rematch ‘WILL be made’ and slams rival for ‘quitting’ against Canelo Alvarez

CHRIS EUBANK JR has reassured a rematch with Billy Joe Saunders ‘WILL be made’ and slammed his rival for ‘quitting’ against Canelo Alvarez. Their feud was not settled after the bitter initial 2014 fight, with the years following fuelling the feud.

Talk of a rematch has started again, but Saunders, who won by split-decision, admitted only £5million would convince him to agree.
Eubank Jr has not ruled out the purse being met, but insisted he is in the driving seat as he grows confident in finally securing a shot at revenge.
He said: “That fight would generate a lot of money, it’s not absurd, but I’m not the business guy.
“The fight will be made, Saunders has nowhere else to go. I’m literally the only person he can fight.
“Eddie [Hearn] was talking in an interview the other day saying, basically trying to sell that Saunders would be the A-side.
“He doesn’t have a belt, he doesn’t have any credibility, he doesn’t have the following I have and he has no options, like zero.

“Whereas, as you’ve seen I have the world, there’s so many fights out there for me, so he is in no way the A-side.
“He has no bargaining chips, he has no right to demand anything.”
Saunders, a two-weight world champion, has admitted his career is up in the air following defeat by Canelo in May.
He was pulled out in round eight against the Mexican superstar, 31, following an uppercut that is said to have left him with four face fractures.
But only six months earlier, Saunders, 31, criticised Daniel Dubois, 23, after the heavyweight took a knee and was counted out against Joe Joyce, 35.
Dubois suffered a similar horror eye injury, but Saunders said he should have been ‘carried out of the ring’ instead of sitting it out.
“The fight will be made, Saunders has nowhere else to go. I’m literally the only person he can fight.Chris Eubank Jr on Billy Joe Saunders
With his words coming back to bite him, Eubank Jr slammed his former opponent.
He said: “He wasn’t the man he thought he was or that he claimed to be. What he did in quitting after getting hurt – embarrassing, shameful? Yes.
“But, if he hadn’t have said the things he said leading up to that fight, and made the comments he made before, then it wouldn’t have been so bad.
“People could have forgotten about it all. The fact he did everything and said everything before and then goes and does it after saying he’d ‘die in the ring’.
“And, two broken eye sockets and a broken arm, a dislocated neck and whatever ‘I’m never going to give up’ and then he gives up literally after the first hit you take, it was unbelievable.
“And I knew that was in him which is why I put a £10,000 bet on and gave the money to charity afterwards as I was so sure he was going to swallow it, and he did it.”
‘I’D BLOW HIM OUT OF THE WATER’
Despite the incident, which saw Saunders beaten for the first time, Eubank Jr admits his old nemesis would may not be so quick to do a repeat if they rematched.
He said: “Would he do the same against me? With me and him there’s a lot of pride, a lot of pride, we have years and years of beef so I would expect him to be a lot more resistant against me.
“But, I’d blow him out of the water now, when we fought six or seven years ago, however long it was, we were at the same level.
“Even after me not doing anything after six rounds, we still had a split-decision, since that time I’ve improved ten-fold and I feel like he’s the same guy.
“That fight is an exciting fight and if it comes, I’d gladly do the business.”

Eubank Jr wants to face Golovkin at Brighton’s Amex Stadium after 2016 fight bizarrely broke down over a photograph

CHRIS EUBANK JR can already picture himself fighting Gennady Golovkin at Brighton’s Amex Stadium. It would come years after he was denied the chance to challenge the middleweight legend after his dad demanded a portrait belonging to Barry Hearn.

Eubank Jr’s immediate focus is on his return to the ring on October 2 in a tune-up bout against German Sven Elbir – the Brit’s debut as the new face of Sky Sports Boxing.
But should he win, promoter Kalle Sauerland has promised a massive pay-per-view fight at the end of the year.
With also a summer date in the frame too, Eubank Jr has called to bring stone-cold puncher GGG to his seaside hometown of Brighton.
He said: “I’ve been told that he’s looking to fight in the UK again. So that’s a stadium-filler.
“How amazing would it be to get that fight at the Amex or something like that in Brighton, I’ve always wanted to fight there.
“We’ve got to get it done.”

Eubank Jr, 31, was in talks to fight then-unbeaten unified champion Golovkin, 39, in 2016.
But negotiations were suddenly brought to a stop, with Kell Brook, 35, instead moving up from welterweight to take on Triple-G.
Brook was beaten in five rounds in front of his Sheffield faithful, while Eubank Jr was accused of swerving the Kazakh danger man.
That was until last year promoter Eddie Hearn revealed the extraordinary reason the fight collapsed.
Eubank Sr had asked for a picture from Hearn’s dad’s office, of him fighting Nigel Benn in one of their classics.
But after Barry – who formerly promoted Sr – denied his ex-fighter the portrait, Jr was pulled out of facing Golovkin by his eccentric father.
How amazing would it be to get that fight at the Amex or something like that in Brighton, I’ve always wanted to fight there.Chris Eubank Jr on fighting Gennady Golovkin
Now Eubank Jr, who was left gobsmacked by the story, is ready to put things right and avoid the regret of missing out on a career-defining night with GGG.
He said: “I was watching, Eddie Hearn put a video out not too long ago saying that the reason the fight fell through was because my old man was demanding a picture or a painting from the office at Matchroom Headquarters.
“And that was the final straw or something and they said, ‘No’ and that was it. That blows my mind the first time I heard that story.
“But, I’m happy he’s at least come out and said that it wasn’t me who stopped the fight from happening, I was ready, I had signed, I was ready to go.
“But yeah, that has to be rectified, that fight has to be made, there’s too many people that wanted to see it, so hopefully we can get it done within the next six-12 months.”
Golovkin is expected to fight Japanese superstar Ryota Murata, 35, to unify their IBF and WBA belts.
    ‘BIG FIGHTS AND BIG TITLES’
It could mean Eubank Jr waiting for the winner and taking on either Billy Joe Saunders, 31, or Liam Willaims, 29, beforehand.
And while GGG remains his No1 target, he has opened the door to pleasing supporters with a domestic barnburner, even with no title on the line.
Eubank Jr explained: “Golovkin’s not an easy fighter to pin down, he fights when and where he wants.
“I’m open to all the options, I’ve got a good few years left so I just want to be active, I want to get fan-friendly fights on.
“Does it have to be for a belt? Obviously, I’d love a belt to be on the line, in this day in age it’s come to a stage where you actually done need belts to have big fights.
“And there are a few of those out there for me. If we can get both, beautiful, but one or the other for December, 100 per cent, big fights and big titles.”

UFC chief Dana White trashes ‘silly’ Triller event after Evander Holyfield’s comeback and Anderson Silva’s brutal KO

UFC president Dana White has torn into Triller following Evander Holyfield’s horrific comeback fight against Vitor Belfort. The former undisputed cruiserweight champion returned to the ring last weekend aged 58 against a revitalised Belfort.

White was, however, impressed by Anderson Silva’s demolition of Tito OrtizCredit: Getty
The Real Deal – who sparked concerns for his well-being during his open workouts – looked a shell of his old self and was stopped in just under two minutes.
The latest Triller Fight Club event also saw future UFC Hall of Famer Anderson Silva record a brutal first-round KO over Tito Ortiz, but the event left a bad taste in White’s mouth.
He said: “Guys, let me put it to you this way: anybody who is f*****g dumb enough and willing to pay and watch these f****n’ fights, Anderson Silva boxed Tito Ortiz.
“[He] boxed Tito Ortiz. Tito Ortiz has no business f****n’ boxing anybody.
“Tito’s 40-f****n’ something years old, Evander Holyfield is almost 60 years old and he’s f*****g fighting.
“It’s silly. All of it’s silly, and there’s always gonna be a certain number of people that are dumb enough to buy these fights and pay for them.”

White, however, was impressed by former middleweight king Silva’s destruction of Ortiz, so much so he claimed The Spider might be the greatest fighter in combat sports history.
He said: “Anderson Silva, we honestly need to start talking again about this guy as the GOAT.
“Not Tito, because he knocked Tito out in 40 f****n’ seconds, but he did to Tito exactly what should be done to Tito.
“Knocking Tito out in 40 seconds is what should’ve happened in that fight. Anderson Silva beat Julio Chavez Jr., at, what, 46?
“At 46 f****n’ years old, he left this sport where he was considered one of the greatest of all-time, possibly even the greatest of all-time, goes out, beats Chavez Jr in a boxing match, then goes and knocks Tito out in 40 seconds.
“And, you know how I feel about Tito personally, Tito can’t box.

“He’s a horrible boxer and that’s why I said I would box him, but the other thing about Tito is when he fought here, Tito had a good chin.
“Tito took big shots from a lot of guys who hit hard. Anderson Silva knocked him out in 40 seconds.
“Anderson Silva might actually be the GOAT of combat sports.”
