Shields is eyeing a mega-clash against Savannah Marshall and was asked if she would ever fight on Paul’s undercard ‘like Amanda Serrano’ did for his bout with Tyron Woodley.
But the 26-year-old did not appreciate the question.
She said: “Don’t ever disrespect me.
“I would never fight on the undercard of Jake Paul.
“I’m a three-division world champion and a two-time Olympic gold medallist in boxing.
“I would never fight on Jake Paul’s undercard. I don’t know what Amanda Serrano’s purse was – I think it was $75,000-$100k.

DON’T GET IT TWISTED! The question was “Would you fight the Undercard of Jake Paul like Amanda Serrano” my answer was “don’t disrespect me, No I would not fight the undercard of him, I listed my accomplishments & let it be known NEVER WILL I EVER AND JAKE PAUL WOULD FALL TO ME— Claressa Gwoat Shields (@Claressashields) September 30, 2021

“I would never fight another boxing match for that money because I’m worth so much more. I’m a $1million fighter.
“[Jake Paul] was having a circus show. No disrespect to Tyron Woodley or Jake Paul, but I’m a real boxer.
“I could beat up Jake Paul at the weight class I’m at right now.
“I would never fight on the undercard of someone who does not possess the skills or accomplishments that I have.”
Since turning pro, Paul has won all four of his fights.
There is talk that his next opponent will be Tyson Fury’s younger brother Tommy.
    ‘FEAR IN HIS EYES’
But the Brit recently said the YouTuber doesn’t fancy it after they clashed at the Woodley event.
Fury said: “He come down the corridor, he was acting the big I am. I was doing an interview with BT.
“And I turned around he was coming and that was it. I thought listen, if he’s going to say anything, he’s going to say it now.

“When we squared up, I looked at him and he doesn’t want any part of me, definitely not.

Tyson Fury vows to ‘smash Deontay Wilder to bits’ and warns trilogy fight is ‘make-or-break’ for rival’s boxing career

TYSON FURY says he will ‘smash Deontay Wilder to bits’ – for a second time – when the pair clash in their trilogy on October 9.The Gypsy King battered Wilder from pillar to post in February last year to hand the American his first ever defeat and bag the WBC heavyweight title.

It was sweet revenge for Fury having had to settle for a draw in their first clash despite most people thinking he should have won.
Now, making the first defence of his belt, Fury will be aiming to send Wilder a step closer to retirement.
Speaking on a zoom call to the media, the 33-year-old said: “It’s nearly that time of the year again where I take over Las Vegas, and it becomes the home of ‘The Gypsy King,’.
“And just remember that I plan to smash Deontay Wilder to bits….and I will.
“I’m very excited. I’m looking forward to this fight. I’m very motivated, focused, and determined and I can’t wait for October 9. I wish it was this weekend.
“I have to wait one more week until I get these big hands on Wilder for a third time.

“It’s one of the few heavyweight trilogies since Riddick Bowe and Evander Holyfield.
“I’m going to go all guns blazing, full out attack, all in victory, straight out of the door from round one until it finishes. It’s either going to be me or Wilder.
“I’ve never had a bad training camp, and I’m in the best shape of my life.
“I’m injury-free, which is the most important thing. I’m really looking forward to it, and I can’t wait.
“I hope he brings a better fight because [our] last fight was disappointing, to say the least.
“I trained for an absolute war, and it was a one-sided beatdown, so hopefully he can give me a challenge.”
Wilder is the most dangerous fighter out there and beats Joshua, Usyk and everyone else out thereTyson FuryWBC Heavyweight Champ
Fury beating Wilder would have moved the all-Brit showdown against Anthony Joshua a step closer – had AJ not lost to Oleksandr Usyk last weekend.
But that defeat has left Fury ‘wounded’, but he refuses to slam the performance of his countryman.
He said: “Usyk did his job and good luck to him.
“I watched it, was I absolutely wounded he won? Yes.
“I wanted Joshua to win but he couldn’t do it and that’s not any of my business.

“I keep my nose out of everyone else’s business.
“Wilder is the most dangerous fighter out there and beats Joshua, Usyk and everyone else out there.”
AJ is leaping into an instant rematch aimed for March and claimed in the wreckage of his Tottenham defeat that he could still fight Fury without the three belts he lost at the weekend.

Oscar De La Hoya slams Eddie Hearn for ‘ruining Anthony Joshua’s career’ in bizarre message while getting a face massage

OSCAR DE LA HOYA accused Eddie Hearn of ‘ruining Anthony Joshua’s career’ while… errr… getting a face massage. The American legend posted a bizarre video online in which he took aim at AJ’s Essex-based promoter.
Golden Boy promoter Oscar De La Hoya has lashed out at Eddie Hearn while having a face massage
The American took aim at Matchroom promoter Hearn and accused him of ‘ruining Anthony Joshua’s career’
Joshua suffered a shock defeat at the hands of Oleksandr Usyk on Saturday night.
The Brit has been criticised for his tactics with his trainer Rob McCracken coming in for particular flack.
But in an odd move, De La Hoya, 48, posted a clip of himself being pampered and slamming Hearn, 42, at the same time.
The Golden Boy promotions founder said: “Joshua vs Usyk, which nobody saw in the US because… what’s that promoter that has no clue what to do in the US?
“I think his name is Hearn or something.”
De La Hoya then pretended to forget his fellow promoter’s name and said: “Thomas Hearn, stay in the UK and promote your fights.

“You have no clue what you’re doing in the US.
“DAZN is doing the right thing sticking with Golden Boy.
“Stay away from the US. He does not know how to promote.
“Usyk crowned himself world champion and Eddie Hearn ruined Joshua’s career.”
After the fight, Hearn confirmed Joshua would immediately trigger his rematch clause with Usyk.
But the promoter has urged AJ to change his style in the second fight with Ukrainian after saying trying to outbox Usyk was a ‘terrible idea’.
The promoter was involved in a vicious spat with a fan on Saturday at Tottenham’s stadium.
He was called a ‘p****’ by a member of the crowd before spinning round and asking the man to repeat his jibe before shouting: “Yeah, you s*** yourself now.”
    HEARN REGRETS
But Hearn has since admitted he regrets his actions.
He told iFL TV: “I shouldn’t have done it, but we spend our lives listening to people online that give you abuse.
“It’s not because I’m a tough guy. At that moment I would’ve taken on about 40 people!
“But yeah, I shouldn’t have done it.”

Watch Anthony Joshua tell Oleksandr Usyk ‘now I know how to beat you’ immediately after shock defeat in new footage

There was no argument from AJ or from most in the boxing game as Usyk put on a boxing masterclass in London.
Joshua has instructed his promoter Eddie Hearn to sort the contractual rematch – and he was keen for this instantly.
Joshua was seen wincing in the corner after the 12th round as he struggled to see out of his right eye.
Usyk wandered over to congratulate him on a good fight.
Joshua said: “You want to go again. I know how to beat you.”
The pair then shared a laugh before heading into the centre of the ring for the official result to be announced.

But seemingly Joshua already knew the writing was on the wall after a subdued performance against the former undisputed cruiserweight king.
The Watford boxer’s defeat looks to have put paid to any hope of fighting fellow Brit Tyson Fury any time soon.
The Gypsy King, who said he has been ‘wounded’ by Joshua losing, will defend his WBC belt on October 9 in a trilogy scrap against Deontay Wilder.
But incredibly, AJ’s promoter Hearn still thinks it is his man and NOT Fury who is the ‘biggest draw in heavyweight boxing’.
    FURY FIGHT CANNED?
He told iFL TV: “He’s [Joshua] on such a bigger level commercially than Tyson Fury, even now.
“He’s by far the biggest draw in heavyweight boxing, especially in the UK. To be fair, even Tyson Fury and his team know that.
“If he [Joshua] beats Usyk, he’s on another level, and he’s coming off the back of another defeat.
“He’s still by far the biggest draw in the division. You saw it last Saturday. Look at the pictures.
“See any of the other guys trying to draw and create images like that in the UK. It’s impossible.”

Chris Eubank Jr ‘didn’t know what to expect’ after turning up at Roy Jones Jr’s FARM for training but was left ‘amazed’

CHRIS EUBANK JR admitted he ‘didn’t know what to expect’ after turning up at Roy Jones Jr’s FARM for training. But by the time he completed his first session with the boxing legend, Eubank Jr was left ‘amazed’.
Roy Jones Jr pictured with Roy Jones JrCredit: chriseubankjr.com
The middleweight contender, who for much of his career snubbed a head coach, first linked up with Jones while vacationing in America.
And after the coronavirus pandemic hit, Eubank Jr, 31, was in need of a private place to train with gyms shutting down.
That is when he thought of American great Jones, 52, who has a gym on his farm in Florida.
Eubank Jr told Sky Sports: “I didn’t know what to expect when I first showed up at his farm.
“I thought I’d hit the bag for five rounds, shadow-box, skip, see you tomorrow.
“Someone like Roy, a legend, I didn’t think he would give me his time.

“I was completely wrong. He was on to me 100 per cent from the moment I walked in. I was amazed.
“I knew after the first day, ‘This is the guy I need to spend time with’.”
It was Eubank’s legendary father Sr who then phoned up Jones and asked whether he would take his son on full time.
Up until that point, Eubank Jr had fought most of his career without a trainer, instead having his dad’s old coach Ronnie Davis and Sr as mentors.
Eubank Jr used American coach Nate Vasquez in his 2019 victory over James DeGale, 35, his biggest win to date.
But no one has had a bigger impact than Jones, considered one of the greatest fighters ever to live.
He was on to me 100 per cent from the moment I walked in. I was amazed. Chris Eubank Je on Roy Jones Jr as a coach
Eubank Jr said: “I’ve never had that. For most of my career I was left to my own devices.
“I am responsible and dedicated so I was able to make that work.
“Some guys need constant reminders. I never needed that, I would do it regardless.
“But having someone there to mesh everything together in the right way has been amazing. Everything has worked out way better than expected.”
Eubank Jr got off to winning ways under Jones, beating Manchester’s Marcus Morrison, 28, in May.
He now returns against late replacement Anatoli Muratov, 33, on Saturday, eager to further showcase his improvements.

Eubank Jr said: “Me and Roy work great together. I am learning every day, even at the age of 31.
“You saw a little taster of things to come in my fight with Marcus Morrison.
“But there is a lot more. As each fight comes you will see more improvements, more things that you haven’t seen from me in the past.”

Eddie Hearn predicts Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder 3 will be a box office flop as there’s ‘zero buzz’ for the fight

EDDIE HEARN reckons Tyson Fury’s trilogy with Deontay Wilder will be a box office flop as there’s ‘zero buzz’ about the fight. The pair, 33 and 35 respectively, will renew their near three-year long rivalry a week on Sunday morning in Las Vegas.

But Eddie Hearn doesn’t foresee their trilogy fight being a box office successCredit: MATCHROOM
Fury put a beating on the American in their rematch last February to claim the WBC heavyweight title.
And Matchroom Boxing chief Hearn reckons the emphatic nature of The Gypsy King’s win will have a detrimental effect on pay-per-view sales.
He told iFL TV: “Look at Fury-Wilder; they’re giving away tickets. They’re reducing prices, and that’s one of the biggest fights out there, really.”
He added: “It won’t do a five million dollar gate. Because mainly there are no Brits travelling.
“So in America, that fight [Fury – Wilder III] is not a big fight. In America? Somewhere between two and three hundred thousand.
“There’s zero buzz [for the Fury – Wilder fight]. I’m not just saying that.

“There’s zero buzz for that fight because he [Fury] absolutely destroyed him [Wilder] in the second fight.
“And he beat him in the first fight as well.
“The second fight looked like a mismatch. I just don’t see it doing the numbers.”
Hearn believes rival promoter and Top Rank chief Bob Arum will be left disappointed by the numbers the fight pulls in.
The 42-year-old continued: “Someone is going to have egg on their face.
There’s zero buzz for that fightEddie Hearn
“I don’t know what the deal is, but it ain’t going to look pretty when the balance sheet hits.
“Fury vs. Wilder 3 probably will do good numbers both at the gate and on PPV.
“It didn’t help that Wilder was totally dominated by Fury last year, but that may not matter.
“If they can promote the fight in the last week weeks before October 9th, it should do well.”
Hearn is predicting an easy night at the office for Fury, saying: “I still think he’ll win comfortably, but it does throw in the likelihood of a mistake happening.
How Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder stack up ahead of the trilogy fight
“If you make a mistake against Deontay Wilder, it could cost you the fight. He’s very dangerous.
“I don’t see him [Fury] losing a round, but it doesn’t really matter. One mistake, and it can be over.
“I generally hope he wins because I want the WBC to order the mandatory of Fury – [Dillian] Whyte.”

Tyson Fury given green light for ‘big fight’ in the UK against WBC mandatory Dillian Whyte after Deontay Wilder trilogy

TYSON FURY has been given the green light for a ‘big fight’ in the UK against Dillian Whyte – so long as he first beats Deontay Wilder. Fury faces Wilder in a trilogy bout next, and WBC mandatory Whyte is expected to be called to face the winner.

Dillian Whyte could be called to fight Tyson Fury
All hopes of an undisputed title decider with Anthony Joshua were dashed after the British superstar was beaten by Oleksandr Usyk.
The WBC are now likely to take the opportunity to mandate Whyte, who fights Otto Wallin on October 30, to contend for the belt.
And Fury’s US promoter Bob Arum likes the sound of that and has even teased fans with a massive night on these shores.
Arum told iFL TV: “Dillian Whyte is the number one contender, and that could be a big, big fight for Tyson.
“Particularly if we held it in the UK, so that’s not out of the question. Dillian Whyte is a capable heavyweight.
“A fight against Tyson Fury or Wilder, whoever wins on October 9th, would be a very interesting fight.

Joshua, 31, blew his chance to unify the division with Fury, 33, after losing his WBA, IBF and WBO belts to Usyk, 34, at Tottenham’s stadium.
With a rematch set to follow, it could be some time before either AJ or Usyk could then put the titles up for an undisputed decider.
Whyte spent over 1,000 days as the WBC’s No1 ranked contender until he was finally called as mandatory challenger.
But in August 2020, after a shock knockout loss to Alexander Povetkin, his title shot was blown up in smoke.
Whyte, 33, later returned the favour in four rounds against Povetkin, 41, to regain his position as next in line for a shot at the WBC title.
But with Joshua previously in talks for a unification with Fury the WBC had not officially called their mandatory.
Fury was later ordered into his contracted trilogy bout with Wilder after a drawn out arbitration case.
Dillian Whyte is the number one contender, and that could be a big, big fight for Tyson. Particularly if we held it in the UK.Tyson Fury’s promoter Bob Arum
It left Joshua mandated to defend his belts against Usyk which ended in disastrous defeat.
He is now set to exercise his right to an immediate rematch, leaving any unifications hopes shelved.
So as long as Whyte beats Otto Wallin, 30, on October 30, he will find himself in line to challenge either Fury or Wilder.
His promoter Eddie Hearn said:  “It’s a really interesting situation. Anything can happen.
“In an ideal world, Tyson Fury beats Deontay Wilder, the mandatory is called for Dillian Whyte.
“Dillian Whyte beats Tyson Fury,  AJ beats Usyk, and then we got Whyte against AJ for the undisputed next summer.”
