He was KOd in the eleventh round after being dropped three times by the Gypsy King.
It came after an epic trilogy encounter at the T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, in front of a wild sold out crowd.
There were fears Wilder would retire from boxing after the savage battle, where he suffered numerous injuries.
The 35-year-old broke his hand in the encounter and will have surgery to fix the problem next week.
But 42-2-1 brawler’s manager Shelley Finkel has confirmed he will be back next in late April or May.
He has been banned from a quick ring return after being told he can’t compete for six-months by medics.
Finkel exclusively told SunSport: “He’s sore but he was OK, he was home yesterday.

“He’s healing and at this point, if everything is OK, after the hand surgery he’ll probably look to enter the ring mid next year, like April or May.”
He also confirmed that Wilder DOES respect Fury but his “mind was not really there” after eleven brutal rounds.
He added: “Him and I have spoke about that and he does (respect Fury).

“I think his mind wasn’t really there, I think if Deontay saw Fury now he would give him a big embrace.”
Wilder initially drew with Fury, 33, in 2018 and was then beaten in the rematch last year, losing the WBC title.
But he refused to accept the loss, blaming it on everything bar a boxing masterclass from the Gypsy King.

“Wilder was battered but from their previous fight, he’d complained that he lost while on his feet.
“So it was only right he was put horizontal, convincingly.”
The release of the new footage came shortly after a clip of Fury’s post-fight encounter with Wilder made its way on to social media.
Shortly after seeing his rival come over, a dazed and dejected Wilder repeatedly said: “No love.”
Fury, 33, replied: “Never mind love, there’s respect.
“You got beat fair and square tonight. That’s it. I respect you because I’m a man.”
An irate and out-of-breath Wilder then roared “I won’t respect you, I won’t respect you. I will never respect you.”
Before he was moved on, Fury told his rival: “Don’t show bad sport[manship], you lost fair and square.”
    I’M NOT A CHEAT
The clip then showed Fury turning his attention to Wilder’s co-manager, Shelly Finkel.
He told the American: “Listen, I never cheated in my whole life. I played fair and square.
“He’s got a bad hatred towards me, I don’t know why.
“But let me tell you, he lost like a man tonight. He put me down three times, I had to put him down four. ”

Eddie Hearn accidentally lets slip he thinks Oleksandr Usyk will BEAT Anthony Joshua in rematch in embarrassing gaffe

EDDIE HEARN has accidentally let slip he thinks Anthony Joshua will be BEATEN by Oleksandr Usyk in their rematch. The British heavyweight lost his world title belts after a unanimous points loss to the Ukrainian last month.
Anthony Joshua is set to take on Oleksandr Usyk in a rematch next yearCredit: Getty
There was a clause inserted in their fight contract which gave Joshua the opportunity of an immediate rematch.
The 31-year-old activated that last week, and the pair are set to face off again in March or April.
But Hearn has sensationally admitted he thinks his client will LOSE again in a bizarre faux pas.
It came after a comment that Usyk would take over P4P king Tyson Fury instead after his win over Deontay Wilder.
He let slip to DAZN: “Dillian Whyte against Tyson Fury is a massive fight here, massive fight.
“The build-up would be maybe as good as the fight, but we know Dillian Whyte deserves his shot.
“Victory against Otto Wallin, nobody can deny him that shot at the world heavyweight title.
    ‘USYK WILL FIGHT FURY’
“He’s had two fights in two years, Tyson Fury, and he hates inactivity.
“If he sits it out, AJ’s going to fight Usyk in March or April and Usyk’s going to fight Fury in September or October.
“It’s going to be three fights in three years, let’s get a bit of momentum.”
Fans reacted in hysterics after the gaffe, with some claiming he means it deep down and other thinking it was a slip of the tongue.

One viewer said: “Lets just hope its just mind games to make Usyk over confident haha. still bad look tho.”
Another added: “Freudian slip I guess, he loves AJ as a great friend but let’s be real even Eddie must be disappointed.
“He must be finding it tough to sell this timid and scared version of AJ who seems to have regressed as a fighter since Ruiz 1 as he’s seemingly so paranoid about taking hits now.”

Five biggest bans in boxing after Deontay Wilder’s six-month suspension following Tyson Fury fight including Mike Tyson

BOXING has seen plenty of its big stars receive bans for their actions inside and outside the ring.Whether it be medical suspensions or bans for performance-enhancing drugs, some of the biggest names in the sport have served time on the sidelines.

And with former WBC champ Deontay Wilder being handed a six-month ban following his epic trilogy fight with Tyson Fury, SunSport thought it’d only be right to look back at some of the most notable suspensions in the sport’s history.
    Muhammad Ali – Three years
The Greatest was banned from boxing in the United States for three years in April 1967 after refusing to be drafted for the Vietnam War.
The suspension robbed Ali – an outspoken critic of the war – of some of his prime years, with the former heavyweight champ returning to the ring aged 28.
The late Ali said of his refusal to be drafted: “My conscience won’t let me go shoot my brother, some darker people or some poor hungry people in the mud for big, powerful America.
“And shoot them for what? They never called me n*****, they never lynched me, they never put no dogs on me, they didn’t rob me of my nationality – rape and kill my mother and father.
“Shoot them for what? How am I gonna go shoot them? Poor little black people and women and children. How can I shoot them people?
    “Just take me to jail.”

    Tyson Fury – Two years
The Gypsy King and cousin Hughie received two-year suspensions in 2017 after testing positive for the banned anabolic steroid nandrolone.
Tyson and Hughie, 33 and 27 respectively, failed drug tests before their respective 2015 clashes with Christian Hammer and Andriy Rudenko.
The duo claimed they unintentionally ingested the substance by eating uncastrated wild boar, which can increase the output of 19-norandrosterone.
In December 2017, UKAD handed the pair retroactive two-year bans, meaning they were free to resume their boxing careers.

    Jarrell Miller – Two years
Big Baby was slapped with a two-year ban from the sport last December – 14 months after testing positive for a cocktail of performance-enhancing drugs before his proposed showdown with Anthony Joshua.
Remarkably, the New Yorker was initially given a six-month suspension by the WBA after testing positive for Selective Androgen Receptor Modulator GW501516, Human Growth Hormone and EPO.
But ahead of his proposed comeback fight against Jerry Forrest last July, Miller once again had GW501516 in his system.
The Nevada State Atheltic Commission opted to throw the book at the 33-year-old, slapping him with a two-year suspension.

    Mike Tyson – 15 months
The Baddest Man on the Planet received a 15-month suspension from the Nevada State Athletic Commission and fined a whopping £2.1million for biting Evander Holyfield’s ear in their 1997 rematch.
Tyson recalled the infamous incident ahead of his comeback fight in 2020, admitting: “I bit him because I wanted to kill him.
“I was really mad about my head being bumped and everything. I really lost consciousness of the whole fight. It took me out of my fight plan and everything.”
When asked if he would do it again, Iron Mike said: “I say, ‘No, never ever again’.
“But I might do it again. Well if he does what he was doing to get bitten, I would bite him again. Yeah.”

    Canelo Alvarez – Six months
Pound-for-pound king Canelo was slapped with a six-month ban in September 2018 after failing two drug tests, both of which found traces of the banned performance-enhancer Clenbuterol in his system.
The Mexican blamed the positive tests on tainted meat from his homeland and is adamant he’s never intentionally taken any prohibited agents.
He told ESPN: “I don’t want to get anyone else involved.
“This was my mistake for not reading up on the risks, not researching more, more on the subject, on what’s going on with the beef in Mexico.
“But I didn’t do anything intentionally. I didn’t do anything to try to enhance my performance. I would never do anything like that.
“It was a mistake and nothing more, not educating myself about this problem in Mexico. It was my mistake, and I won’t repeat it.”

    Deontay Wilder – Six months
The Bronze Bomber was issued a six-month medical suspension following his back-and-forth war with Fury, which he lost via 11th round KO.
Wilder, however, can return to the ring sooner if he receives clearance from a doctor.
A swift return to the ring, however, is highly unlikely as he broke his hand in his epic trilogy fight with Fury.

Deontay Wilder fought with no ‘legs under him’ after Tyson Fury ‘threw his equilibrium off’ in first knockdown

DEONTAY WILDER fought with no ‘legs under him’ after Tyson Fury ‘threw his equilibrium off’ following an early knockdown. Wilder bravely battled through 11 rounds before being knocked out to end an enthralling trilogy bout in Las Vegas.

But the American looked spent for much of the fight after he was floored for the first time, three rounds in.
His manager Shelly Finkel claimed Wilder’s exhausted look and overall performance was hampered after Fury’s punch-perfect shot.
Finkel told SunSport: “He’s doing well, he gives all credit to Fury to perform the way he did.
“But early in the fight Deontay, probably around the third round, when he got hit, he got hit by the ear and it threw his equilibrium off.
“And I was watching and I said, ‘What happened to his legs?’ Because he trained so hard.”
Fury, 33, had Wilder, 35, hurt in the third on the ropes after a left hook followed by a right hand landed right around the side of the ear.

The Gypsy King then landed a short uppercut and hook combination that sent Wilder crashing to the canvas.
Fury looked to be on the road to an early night’s work, only to then be dramatically floored twice himself in the following round.
He later regained control, dropping Wilder in the tenth before a brutal right hand settled it all with a round to spare.
But the Bronze Bomber refused to quit all night, ever threatening with his lethal right hand, and restored his reputation with the gutsy performance.
Finkel said: “It was a show of his determination and his no-quit attitude, many other fighters probably would have quit during that fight.
“He started out great; the first round he won the round obviously on all three cards and he was following the game plan.
Early in the fight Deontay, probably around the third round, when he got hit, he got hit by the ear and it threw his equilibrium off.Deontay Wilder’s co-manager Shelly Finkel
“But then, when certain things happened in the third round, he had to change it but even with that, if you look later on he caught Fury a couple of times flush.
“But due to him not having his legs under him, he didn’t have the normal Deontay power.”
Wilder’s effort in recapturing the WBC title and gaining retribution can only further be hailed after he broke his right hand during the fight.
He has returned home to Alabama and will have surgery to fix one of the most dangerous weapons in boxing history.
Wilder has been hit with a six month medical suspension, but is in line to return no later than May 2022.
Finkel revealed: “He’s sore but he was OK, he was home yesterday.
“He’s healing and at this point, if everything is OK, after the hand surgery he’ll probably look to enter the ring mid next year, like April or May.”

Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury: How brother Tyson set off feud which led to imminent million-pound blockbuster boxing fight

TYSON FURY is responsible for the imminent multi million-pound boxing match between his brother Tommy and Jake Paul. A single tweet from the Gypsy King in March, after Tommy went 5-0, caught Paul’s attention.

This is the tweet that kickstarted the feud
The end of the social media post read: “@jakepaul where you at?”
The YouTuber then hit back and claimed to have no knowledge of who Tommy was, despite his appearance on reality TV show Love Island in 2019.
He said: “I get to the bottom of the Tweet and he’s calling me out to like fight someone, and the Tweet is about his brother.
“Oh, I didn’t even know he had a brother. Then he’s calling me out to fight his brother, and I’m like, ‘Bro, what the f*** is going on here?’
“I didn’t know Tyson Fury had a bro? I like Tyson Fury.
“I don’t want a beef with Tyson Fury, but damn, if Tyson Fury took a s***, it would be his little brother.
“He’s literally like this little kid. My point is here. You’re Tyson Fury’s little brother. If you want to fight me, don’t let your big bro do s*** for you.
“Log in to Instagram or Twitter and call me out for yourself, bro. What’s going on in this boxing world?”

Tommy, who was not aware Fury would call out Jake, then responded and quickly videos were being exchanged back and forth between the two.
It included Paul accusing Fury’s girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague of messaging him in 2018, while the British light-heavyweight mocked the American while wearing a blonde wig.
Soon after the verbal jabs, Paul, 24, knocked out retired UFC welterweight Ben Askren, 37, to go 3-0 in his career.
It followed knockout wins over YouTube rival ‘AnEsonGib’ and ex-NBA player Nate Robinson, 37.
Tommy, 22, in June then went 6-0 while it was announced Paul would fight ex-UFC champion Tyron Woodley, 39, in August.
Beforehand, Tommy was considered as an opponent, but his profile Stateside was deemed not big enough.
Instead, Paul would have his rival fight on his undercard, against a sparring partner of his, Anthony Taylor, 32.
    BACKSTAGE BEEF
Tommy, who signed a two-fight deal with US network Showtime, won on points while Paul did the same – putting them on course for a grudge match.
And the rivalry reached new heights when the pair came face-to-face backstage, causing a melee between their teams.
Tommy said afterwards: “There was a moment in that corridor where everything was going off between the security, my team, his team and it was just me and him.
“I looked dead into his soul. When the cameras are not around, he doesn’t want to know.
“Let’s be honest, if he really wanted to fight me, I’d have been in that ring there at the end through the ropes, let’s go, there’s no return.
“But he didn’t want that and the reason why he didn’t want me in the ring is because if I was getting in there, he wouldn’t be able to go back on it.”
    NEGOTATIONS OFFICALLY START
Talks between the two began soon after, but immediately hit a road bump.
Tommy admitted he rejected two fight offers, believing he was being lowballed.
So Paul publicly bumped the deal up to $1million, plus what SunSport understands to be additional pay-per-view bonuses.
But Tommy responded: “To everybody out there, $1million for a fight of this magnitude is not even worth getting out of bed for, this fight is going to gross millions and millions of pounds.
“I cannot walk down the street without anybody asking me when are you fighting Jake Paul, so until you want to make a serious offer and put it on the table, we can’t think about fighting pal.”
    A NEW HOPE
Paul’s advisor Nakisa Bidarian told SunSport: “This is an unbelievable offer.
“More than most UFC champions get as a guaranteed base. It’s comical them saying it’s not worth getting out of bed for.”
But hope was not lost and again it was back to the negotiation table, with an agreement edging closer.
Tommy’s promoter Frank Warren even revealed terms are being finalised for a fight by the end of the year.
Warren told iFL TV: “Hopefully we’ll finish it off this week and we can move forward. It’ll be in late November, December.”
    ‘STAY TUNED’
Paul has since remained silent, a sign that an agreement could be close, while Tommy was full of confidence.
Before Fury’s trilogy win over Deontay Wilder, he said on BT Box Office: “Things are looking good.
“I can’t say too much as I leave that up to my lawyers. But things are looking good, stay tuned.”
And whether purist and traditional boxing fans like it or not, many will stay tuned, and likely contribute to a PPV blockbuster success.

He’d do what Tyson Fury did – Eddie Hearn claims Dillian Whyte would steamroll through Deontay Wilder as ‘he’s too big’

DILLIAN WHYTE has been tipped to follow in the suit of Tyson Fury and put a beating on Deontay Wilder if he ever gets his hands on the American.Former WBC champ Wilder suffered a brutal 11th-round knockout loss in his trilogy fight with the Gypsy King last weekend, although he turned in a spirited display before being stopped.

Wilder, however, struggled to deal with the size and weight of the 6ft 9in, 277lb Gypsy King, who made every bit of his advantages count.
And Matchroom Boxing chief Eddie Hearn is adamant Whyte would do the same thing to the Bronze Bomber, although he admits the Brixton banger’s love of a tear-up could see him laid out.
He told iFL TV: “Whyte would do exactly the same to Wilder that Fury did, in terms of being too big and strong, but could also get KO’d.”
Hearn, 42, reckons former unified heavyweight champ Anthony Joshua and his successor Oleksandr Usyk would also beat Wilder.
But he admits the pair – who will renew their rivalry next year – could also be taken out by the heavy-handed Olympian.
He continued: “AJ, too sharp, too good a technician, but could also get KO’d. Usyk would school Wilder, but could also get KO’d.”

“He has to have surgery, the knuckle is OK, it’s the bone behind the knuckle that broke.

“He’s sore but he was OK, he was home yesterday.
“He’s healing and at this point, if everything is OK, after the hand surgery he’ll probably look to enter the ring mid next year, like April or May.”
