      JAKE PAUL called Tommy Fury a ‘bitch’ after knocking out Tyron Woodley – but started the trolling on the way to the ring. Fury was due to face Paul in a celebrity grudge match in Florida, until he pulled out with a broken rib and chest infection.

      Ex-UFC champion Woodley, beaten on points by the YouTuber in August, stepped in with less than two weeks notice as a replacement.
      Paul was in no mood to let Fury off the hook and even on his ringwalk he wore a Union Jack outfit.
      On the British flag, it read: “Hey Tommy, wish you could’ve been here but watching from a TV is cool too.”
      Paul also walked out to Village People’s 1978 classic YMCA, and the lyrics are almost certain to have been another swipe at Fury.
      The song starts with: “Young man, there’s no need to feel down. I said, young man, pick yourself off the ground.”
      Paul, 24, and Woodley, 39, were six rounds into their rematch and facing boos from the crowd as it failed to catch fire.

      Woodley, 39, was left face down on the canvas and for the second time beaten by Paul.
      The former UFC welterweight, who lost to the American social media star in August, only took the rematch on two week’s notice.
      He filled in for Tommy Fury, 22, who pulled out of facing Paul, 24, with a broken rib and chest infection.
      Paul said: “This guy is a legend.
      “Don’t take anything away from his career as a UFC champion and respect him for taking the fight on two weeks’ notice because Tommy Fury is a bitch.

      The fight got off to a cagey start with Woodley the aggressor, coming forward but not throwing, while Paul appeared hesitant on the retreat.
      In round two Paul did land an overhand right – a sign of things to come – but still the action was spoiled by holding from each side.
      In round three, a clash of heads caused the former vlogger to sustain a nasty cut, and in turn inspired urgency in Woodley.
      But when the bout got into the midway mark, the crowd began to grow restless with the grabbing and clinching, as boos filled the arena.

      Soon enough though, Woodley would find himself face down and out for the count following a monstrous right hand.
      Paul set the finishing shot up with a fake to the body and came around the side with a right hook.
      It landed bang on the button and put Woodley away, ending the rematch in devastating fashion.
      Paul said: “It was a tough fight. The blood was getting in my eye from when he elbowed me.
      “He was throwing me on the ground – dirty headbutt. But it is what it is. I got the job done and I knew it would happen like that.
      “I was setting it up the whole fight. He didn’t see that s*** coming. He was catching, catching. Come around. Good morning.”

      Serrano’s win, which served as co-headliner for Jake Paul’s rematch with Tyron Woodley, means a blockbuster with Ireland’s Taylor is almost guaranteed.
      She said: “MVP baby, I hope I made you guys proud. Jake Paul, Nakisa, and everybody in the crowd who came out to see.
      “Everybody who purchased the pay-per-view, thank you and this is for women’s boxing, I’m doing it for all of us, baby.”
      Taylor, undisputed at lightweight, kept her end of the bargain with a win over Firuza Sharipova in Liverpool.
      A week later and Serrano followed suit, meaning the two boxing superstars are on course for a historic clash.
      Taylor, 35, in 2019 beat Serrano’s sister Cindy, 39, and was last year in talks to face Amanda, 33.

      But amid the coronavirus pandemic, the super-fight broke down and on the second attempt, a deal could not be agreed.
      Now, Serrano is managed by YouTube star-turned boxer Paul, 24, and his Most Valuable Promotions stable alongside advisor Nakisa Bidarian.
      Olympic 2012 gold medalist Taylor admitted she had no problem with the social media sensation leading negotiations for the potentially record-breaking bout.
      She told The MMA Hour this week: “Obviously just there’s been so much controversy and criticism over Jake Paul being involved in boxing and getting these fights going.
      “If he’s the person to make the fight happen between me and Amanda Serrano, I’m not complaining at all about him being involved in boxing.
      “He’s obviously pretty much promoting Amanda Serrano now, and so he’s obviously going to play a big part in getting this fight over the line as well.
      “So yeah, like I said, I have no problems with him being involved in boxing if it means that he’s going to make the biggest fight in women’s boxing history happen.”
      Taylor added: “It’s probably the biggest fight in women’s boxing history, and what an amazing privilege and honour to be in this position.” More

      At one point, in round two, Williams landed a right hand and then pushed Gore into the ropes and almost out of the ring.
      But Gore got his own back and shoved the basketballer to the floor just moments later.
      Williams scored the only knockdown, with a standing count, in round three after the ropes kept Gore up.
      Both men swung haymakers right until the end and looked absolutely knackered by the end of it.
      Williams, 37, has owned the Fortis MMA gym in Dallas since 2015 and has been training there ever since.
      Similarly, Gore, 38, has been using boxing training since 2005 as part of his regime.

      He said: “I’m going to sit my old, dumbass down somewhere and let these professionals do their s***.

      NATE DIAZ and Jorge Masvidal were among the stars in attendance for Jake Paul’s rematch with Tyron Woodley. On the undercard in Florida, Diaz’s training partner Chris Avila beat Anthony Taylor, a former sparring partner of Paul’s.

      It meant the UFC veteran was ringside to support Avila, who went on to win a points decision over eight rounds.
      Soon after, Masvidal, 37, who beat Diaz, 36, in 2019, took his seat in the front row.
      He is a long-time American Top Team training partner and friend of Woodley’s and was there to support the former UFC champion.
      But Masvidal has also feuded with Paul in recent months, leaving both open to a future boxing match down the line.
      Before the YouTuber knocked out Ben Askren in April, the two trained together and even posed for pictures.
      But when Paul signed to face Woodley in his next fight, it saw his relationship with Masvidal turn sour.

      Fury, 33, is renting a sprawling spot in the USA and has extended an invite to his old foe Wilder.
      Florida borders Wilder’s home state of Alabama and the Gypsy King hopes the 36-year-old makes the short journey over.
      He told the Mail: “It’s a huge place with an enormous swimming pool.
      “Room for all and I’ve told Deontay we’re right handy for Disney World.”
      The pair contested an epic trilogy bout – culminating in Fury’s second victory in October.

      DEREK CHISORA has defiantly refused to hang up his boxing gloves and roared ‘f*** retirement’ as he already plots his return. Chisora was left raging in May after losing to Joseph Parker by split-decision, in a fight where he scored a knockdown in the opening ten seconds.

      But in the rematch back in Manchester, the British veteran could have no such arguments following a one-sided defeat.
      Chisora was floored three times and looked on the brink of a brutal stoppage on several occasions.
      But the resilient Londoner came back with enough to convince his corner and referee Howard Foster to let the action continue.
      It resulted in a 12th career loss for Chisora, who Parker said should now consider retirement.
      But the man himself has other ideas, so much so that he is planning to return in around six months time.
      Chisora tweeted: “F*** retirement. I’ll be back in the summer bitch.”

      The former world title challenger, 37, kept up his post-fight tradition of sharing a Five Guys burger with his opponent.
      It is the second time he has toasted to a cheeseburger with New Zealander Parker, 29, who boxed in the UK for the fifth time.
      After the win, he said:  “Derek always comes for war, he was one tough guy and never stopped coming forward until the end.
      “I felt a lot stronger. It was important to start strong and not be negative from the beginning. You can see there are improvements to be made.
      “Derek Chisora is a credit to the sport of boxing. The crowd went mental when he walked out. They just want to support him.”
      Despite coming into the fight with 11 losses, Chisora’s unpredictable personality and ruthless aggression makes him a headline act.
      But after the loss, Parker admitted he would like to see it be Chisora’s last.
