      But the unregulated belt brand squeezes extra sanctioning fees out of fighters but also anointing a ‘regular’ champion.
      American Trevor Bryan currently holds the B-rated belt but his overdue fight with Germany’s Manuel Charr has just collapsed for the umpteenth time.

      But avid collectors of the pricey memorabilia have questioned the authenticity of the 26-year-old’s collection, which has prompted him to schedule a visit to authentication company BBCE.
      He tweeted: “Update on this: I’m flying to Chicago this weekend to verify the case with BBCE, the company who insured its authenticity. to be continued…”
      Paul’s most cherished Pokemon card is his shiny Charizard – which he bought for a whopping £110,000.
      The Maverick donned the plastic-covered card as a necklace as he made his way to the ring for his exhibition bout with boxing legend Floyd Mayweather last June.
      Paul ended up going the distance with the former five-weight world champion, but his shiny Charizard proved to be one of the biggest talking points among boxing fans.

      FLOYD MAYWEATHER said he will return for ‘MORE than one fight’ and called his comeback ‘a limited edition boxing showcase’. Mayweather will headline an exhibition on February 20 in Dubai, just four days before his 45th birthday, and confirmed it will not be a one and done.

      He said: “One fight? We may do more than one fight.
      “We want to give the people some entertainment. So yes, it will be more than one fight.”
      The event will be staged on the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah’s HELIPAD and comes just four days before the Mayweather’s 45th birthday.
      He announced: “February 20th, we haven’t chosen an opponent yet but I look forward to it and hopefully we give you guys something to see.”
      Mayweather officially retired in 2017 after beating UFC superstar Conor McGregor, 33, in a lucrative crossover bout.
      But he has returned twice, both in exhibitions, starting with a one round demolition job over featherweight kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa, 23.

      But Paul demanded certain terms be met, which included the increase in fighters pay.
      The demands were as follows: “1) Increase min fighter pay per fight to $50k (it’s $12k now).
      “2) Guarantee UFC fighters 50% of UFC annual revenues ($1bn in 2021).
      “3) Provide long term healthcare to all fighters (you previously said brain damage is part of the gig… imagine the NFL said that).
      “There are many UFC alums who have publicly said they are suffering from brain damage.”

      And Khan, currently training in Colorado, revealed the contract included drug testing – often done at random – but has not yet started the process.
      He told iFL TV: “I just sent a message to my wife the other day – I also copied my lawyer into it – saying, ‘Can you please push whoever’s like, Sky or Boxxer, Mr Shalom, Ben Shalom, saying the testing needs to be done’.
      “I mean, I’m sat here, there’s no testing being done, why? I’m waiting to be tested. I’m the one who had to push that.
      “I said, ‘Look, why’s the tests not been done? It’s a bit strange.
      “Testing normally gets done when I normally work with VADA, or USADA it normally gets done like straight away.
      “At a press conference they could turn up. But for some reason, I’ve been in camp for four weeks and there’s no testing which has been done, which I find quite weird.”

      AMIR KHAN has given away over £250,000 in FREE tickets for his friends to see him finally fight Kell Brook. The welterweight rivals recently put pen to paper to at last confirm their bitter grudge match, set for February 19 in Manchester.

      Tickets for the fight sold out within minutes, such is the demand to see the two settle the score once and for all.
      But Khan – never one to disappoint – admitted he has had to take from his own pockets to make sure his friends and family will be in attendance.
      He told iFL TV: “I’ve only got a handful of tickets left. It’s hard man, so many friends are popping up saying, ‘AK, I need some tickets’.
      “And I don’t want to let anyone down, I want to give everyone that opportunity to see this fight.
      “I’m giving away that many tickets, so I said to the Mrs – I got her to handle it all – and I said, ‘Listen, don’t even tell me the amount of money I could have made, if I sold them’.
      “Just don’t tell me, because I know I’ve gone over. I’m not going to lie, I’ve probably gone over a quarter of a million quid. On just giving away tickets.”

      The 35-year-old pair have spent their entire careers linked to each other, and despite near-misses, a deal was never finalised.
      It means their rivalry has continued to build and will now come to a climax when the first bell sounds next month.
      But despite all the animosity over the years, Khan insisted the feud and eventual fight is not personal and will not let emotions deter his performance.
      He said: “It’s business, nothing personal with Kell.
      “When you let things get to you personally, you lose that game plan and go in there with a lot of hatred and you want to hurt the person.
      “I never want to make that mistake, I just want to go in there and box smart and do what I do best.”

      JULIO CESAR CHAVEZ JR has been urged to QUIT boxing if he lost to Jake Paul – which would add further humiliation to his iconic dad. The former WBC middleweight champion revealed he is in talks to fight YouTuber-turned unbeaten boxer Paul.

      Chavez Jr has been known to lack commitment in the past, most recently losing to future UFC Hall of Famer Anderson Silva.
      So Mexican countryman Jhonny Gonzalez pleaded with the son of a legend to train properly for a fight with Paul – or face the consequences.
      Gonzalez, 40, told CVBJ: “It is a good business that these YouTubers are doing who want to face boxers.
      “But if Chavez Jr happens, I just hope that Julio prepares well because if he loses to Paul then he had better retire from boxing.”
      Chavez Sr, one of Mexico’s most celebrated fighters, was left head in hands in June after his son lost to Silva, 46, over eight rounds.
      And Gonzalez admitted such is his dad’s popularity, whenever Chavez Jr, 35, steps foot in the ring, attention will follow.
