      And now he has to deal with mandatory challenger Mama, who was supposed to fight Mthalane for the IBF strap earlier this year.
      The fight was supposed to happen back in September, but Edwards picked up an injury, forcing a three month delay.

      Edwards’ clash with Mama will take place on Saturday, December 11.
      The main card will start from 5pm UK time in the UK, with the main event expected around 5.30pm.
      The event will be held at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

      The heavyweight champ’s daughter spent over a week in intensive care after he and wife Paris welcomed their sixth child into the world on August 8.
      But she seems well now as the Fury clan enjoy their break.

      ANTHONY JOSHUA will not step aside from his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk. Joshua was beaten by the Ukrainian slugger in September and had the right to an immediate rematch in his contract.

      But Tyson Fury fancied fighting Usyk instead for all the heavyweight marbles in an undisputed title fight.
      Joshua and Hearn were at least open to considering a deal, but now the WBC has ordered Fury to fight Whyte.
      It looks to have ended any chances of a unification and all-but guarantees AJ will rematch Usyk next year.
      Promoter Hearn told Betfred: “No he’s not. He’s not been involved in any conversations.
      “I’ve been involved in a few conversations with a couple of people who’ve discussed a concept where AJ has a comeback fight, Fury and Usyk fight and then AJ fights the winner.
      “But we forgot the Dillian Whyte part of that jigsaw. Now the Fury versus Whyte fight has been ordered then that concept has evaporated, which is good as I didn’t want to have that conversation with AJ.
      “But I would have had it if it was a good conversation to have. All he wants to do is try and win the heavyweight championship again.”

      TYRON WOODLEY revealed he took ’20 seconds to say yes’ to a rematch with Jake Paul after Tommy Fury’s pull out. Paul beat Woodley over eight rounds in August, with Fury winning against the YouTuber’s sparring partner Anthony Taylor.

      It set up the huge celebrity grudge match which was set for December 18 in Florida.
      But Fury this week pulled out with a broken rib and chest infection, while Woodley signed as his replacement.
      The ex-UFC champion had been campaigning for a rematch against Paul, 24, so had no hesitation in accepting the late-notice opportunity.
      Woodley, 39, said: “When I got the call about this fight I had already been training and had in my mind that I was going to fight four times next year.
      “I was already getting battle-ready for a fight in January. It took me 20 seconds to say yes and now we’re here.

      He was heckled by 12-9 MMA veteran Lane, 34, who even threw something in Perry’s face.
      It sparked a furious reaction from Perry, 30, who then stormed over to Lane and began attacking him.
      The rivals were eventually separated by security as a mass melee broke out in the arena.
      Lane is 4-5 in bare-knuckle and most recently fought in October, losing to David Rickels.

      TYSON FURY finally met his match after he squared up to Game of Thrones giant Hafthor Bjornsson. Usually, the WBC heavyweight champion towers over his opponents, but sizes up equally with Bjornsson.

      The pair, both 6ft 9in, posed topless as Bjornsson – known as ‘Thor’ – visited Fury at one of his evening with tour nights.
      Fury, 33, is one of the biggest heavyweights in the world, weighing in 19st 7lb for his last fight, a trilogy win over Deontay Wilder, 36.
      But that is nothing on the 23STONE Bjornsson weighs, which is only after a dramatic nine-stone body transformation.
      What Fury does have over the Icelandic former strongman is a life of boxing experience, reigning as a two-time unbeaten heavyweight champion
      Bjornsson, 33, meanwhile is preparing to fight rival Eddie Hall, 33, who he called out in May 2020 after he broke the Brit’s 501kg deadlift record.
      Bjornsson has had three tune-up exhibition bouts in preparation for the grudge match with Hall next year.
