      The contract includes the right to an immediate rematch if Paul, 24, loses, which could set up a trilogy decider afterwards.
      Woodley, 39, told TMZ Sports: “Of course I’m down for the trilogy. Yes, it is a rematch clause in there. I’m going to put that on him.
      “After I knock you out, Mr Betting Man, are you going to run or are you going to try to fight somebody else?
      “Or are you going to come and get this work again?”

      FLOYD MAYWEATHER has ruled out a boxing comeback and instead wants to ‘help others to become champions’. Mayweather, 44, officially retired in 2017 after beating UFC superstar Conor McGregor, 33, in a lucrative crossover bout.

      But he has returned twice, both in exhibitions, starting with a one round demolition job over featherweight kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa, 23.
      More recently, in June he was taken the distance over eight rounds by YouTuber Logan Paul, 26, who weighed TWO STONE more.
      Despite boasting of a $100million payday, Mayweather is adamant it was his last cameo in the ring, and will focus on promoting the next crop of boxing stars.
      He said: “I won’t go back to boxing, no I won’t.
      “Boxing was very good to me, because I could make smart investments on the outside, but now I want to help others to become champions like Gervonta Davis.
      “Terence Crawford, Errol Spence, [David] Benavidez, the list goes on. There are many very tough fighters out there, great young champions that I am proud of.

      “I feel like this is a fight that should have taken place anyway. This is a fight that more people are excited about.
      “It’s kind of funny that fight was set up for December 18 and more people were talking about a rematch with me and Jake anyway, so I feel things happen in time and on purpose for a reason.
      “I never wish bad upon anybody. I don’t want anybody to get hurt, so I can step forward. I don’t really have much to say about Tommy Fury.
      “I’m not in his camp, I don’t really know him, and not to sound mean, I really don’t care about his reasoning for not taking the fight.

      It set up the huge celebrity grudge match which was set for December 18 in Florida.

      Paul will now take on former UFC fighter Tyron Woodley, while Hatton fears the YouTuber turned boxer may not give Fury another shot at a fight.
      Writing for Metro, Hatton said: “It’s a shame and I certainly hope Tommy hasn’t lost his chance. But I suppose it is really up to Jake Paul, the ball might be in his court going forward.
      “If he wants to fight Tommy and prove his point then hopefully Tommy can get another shot.
      “But there is a risk, there is every chance Paul turns around and says: ‘F**k it, you’ve lost your chance.’
      “I have a feeling that might happen but I hope not for Tommy’s sake.”
      Hatton though reckons the influence of Tyson Fury and dad John will eventually result in the fight being rescheduled.

      Fury blamed a broken rib and a severe cold as the reasons for pulling out of the fight.
      The news came soon after the Fury’s shared videos to social media of his brother Tyson slamming a medicine ball into Tommy’s ribs.
      And Hatton went on to say: “There has been a bit of speculation that the injury might have come from those training sessions we saw, where Tyson was bouncing those medicine balls off Tommy’s stomach in the gym.

      The former Disney actor turned professional boxer is the favourite going into his showdown, after defeating Woodley last time out.
      The entire MMA community is rooting for Woodley to put a beating on the outspoken Paul brother.
      And if he were in Woodley’s shoes, Poirier would be embarrassed if he didn’t get the better of the social media star early in the contest.
      He tweeted: “Also while Im at it if i can’t get Jake Paul outta there in 3 rounds im a bumb [sic].”
      The Diamond was quickly quizzed about Paul’s relationship with his American Top Team team-mate Jorge Masvidal.
      A fan tweeted: “Why is Jorge friends with him after Jake called you a bum fighter?”

      And the Louisiana fighter didn’t mince his words when responding to the question.
      He said: “Ask Jorge what he thinks will happen if i put them paws on Jake.”
      Woodley revealed he took ’20 seconds to say yes’ to a rematch with Jake Paul after Tommy Fury’s pull out.

      Conor Benn kept family with him for Chris Algieri fight camp and insists they’re his ‘ultimate motivation’

      CONOR BENN says having his loved ones in and around the gym will not soften him up for Chris Algieri tonight.The 25-year-old welterweight meets the American in Liverpool following another gruelling camp at Tony Sims’ old-school Romford gym.

      But the son of ring legend Nigel has allowed himself regular visits from baby son Eli and wife Victoria, which he reckons make him an even more dangerous threat to the New Yorker, 37.
      Plenty of fighters like their training camps away from home comforts and distractions to harden themselves.
      But Benn, whose parents and siblings are all based in Australia, prefers to have his immediate family close by.
      He told SunSport: “I have brought my family into the gym because that is what makes me feel at home.
      “It is warming having my family here because before it was always about my family being in Australia while I was living and training and fighting on my own over here. So now it’s nice having my family here, as close around me as possible, in the gym or doing media days.
      “My family being in the gym or around me is not a distraction, it is the ultimate motivation — they are why I do what I do.”
      Because of the recent Covid travel restrictions Benn went almost a year without seeing his 57-year-old dad but the former two-weight world champ has finally made it over to meet his grandson.
      The Dark Destroyer has also been on a speaking tour with eccentric old foe Chris Eubank Sr and Conor has enjoyed watching his shrewd tactics on stage.

      He said: “Dad isn’t surprised by how hard I train, I have always been a go-getter, a dreamer, an achiever.
      “I don’t train harder just because he is around, I feel I prefer his approval on life decisions more than boxing.
      “Boxing is not the basis of our relationship, we don’t need to talk about it, he’s dad and grandad. The tour went well. My dad lets Eubank get on with his act and he just sits there, gives the one-word responses, and takes his cheque. They are very funny characters together.”
      Last time out in September, Benn was frustrated by Adrian Granados’ negative tactics and reluctance to engage as he made it 19-0.
      At one point he ordered his American opponent to stand in the centre of the ring and give the fans the slugfest they craved.
      He said: “It’s so boring when my opponents say I haven’t been tested. Just because I don’t have a textbook style, I do look a little vulnerable, I do take chances.
      Benn is hopeful that having his family with him will make him more dangerous for Chris Algieri
      “I will always throw, if I miss I miss, I am not sitting back and coasting to points decisions. I am going in to hit my opponent.
      “Algieri can think whatever he likes, he has been in with the best so he deserves respect but what he thinks makes no difference to me, it just gets a little annoying.
      “If he doesn’t believe I belong at this level, he is in for the shock of his life.”
