Jake Paul called out by own BROTHER Logan for boxing fight and claims ‘he gets beat up by my sparring partners’

LOGAN PAUL has called out his own BROTHER Jake for a fight and claimed ‘he gets beat up by my sparring partners’. The pair of social media sensations have long rivalled each other through their YouTube channels but have now crossed it over to boxing.
Jake Paul, left, pictured with big brother Logan
And despite regularly training together and showing their support when one another fights, the two are adamant they will one day share the ring.
Things have now escalated after Jake, 24, accused Logan, 26, of being a ‘faker fighter’.
And it led to the elder Paul once again challenging his little brother to prove who is the superior boxer.
Logan said on his YouTube channel: “I fully support Jake whatever drama he wants to stir or create, it really doesn’t bother me.
“Like, ‘Oh, you’re a fake boxer.’ Okay. Let’s box, because Jake is the kid that gets beat up by my sparring partners. That’s that kid.”
Logan made his professional debut in 2019, losing to internet rival KSI, 27, by split-decision after being deducted two points.
Jake on the other hand, has had four knockout wins, including leaving ex-NBA star Nate Robinson out cold and into a viral meme.

Jake once accused his ex-partner Alissa Violet of getting together with Logan – and the brothers even made diss tracks about each other.
In one video, called ‘The Fall of Jake Paul’, Logan says: “Uh oh, that’s Alissa Violet, used to be your chick. Now she in the Logang and you know she on my… team.”
Despite the verbal warfare in 2017, the pair have since made up and Jake has helped his brother prepare for his fight against Floyd Mayweather.

That is despite Logan astonishingly revealing they will one day be beating the s*** out of each other in what he says will be ‘one of the most historical fights ever’.
He told Showtime: “My dad does not want us to do that. But I think it’s inevitable.
“In two to four years’ time, I think Jake and I are going to be beating the s*** out of each other in a ring, and I think it’ll be one of the most historical fights ever.
“The Klitschkos didn’t do it. They had a chance, right? Our mum tried to make us agree to never do that.
“But you got the one tatted up problem child, and then you got the podcasting-Pokemon-collecting-apoxie-producing, f***ing whoever else I am.
    “So, that would be something.”

Jake Paul wears ‘this could have been you’ T-shirt in dig at Tommy Fury as YouTuber poses next to stand-in Tyron Woodley

As his shirt pointed out, however, it could have been Fury appearing in the lucrative bout.
The rivals had agreed to fight tonight, in what would have been the climax to a war of words that has gotten personal.
But with Fury, 22, picking up an injury, he was forced to pull out.
Appearing next to Woodley at the weigh-in, Paul smugly wore a T-shirt featuring the message: “Tommy this could have been you.”
Beneath the slogan was an arrow pointing toward Woodley.
The purse would have been significant for Fury.

For their first bout in August, Paul and Woodley both earned £1,453,610 even before PPV numbers had even come in.
For his fight with Anthony Taylor on the same card, Fury pocketed a comparatively measly £10,900.
In addition to mocking him with his shirt, Paul also appeared to steal one of his rival’s taunts in the press conference.
Fury had likened fighting a YouTuber like the Problem Child to ‘robbing a bank’.
Talking about rematching Woodley, a fighter that he beat in the summer, Paul said: “I just thought to myself… it’s funny how these ‘professionals’, like Tommy Fury who’s considered a professional boxer, get sick and don’t want to fight.
“I’ve fought sick, I’ve fought hurt – you’ve got to go in there and get the job done.
“And then they’re like ‘oh, you got Tyron Woodley now’, no problem – that’s why I’ve got the ski mask on.
“They’re going to give me a big bag to go and beat the guy I already beat? It’s a bank robbery.” More

Why has Tyson Fury fallen out with the BBC over SPOTY nomination?

TYSON FURY is nominated to win the BBC Sports Personality Of The Year award this weekend. But Fury will not be in attendance, and has threatened the Beeb with legal action for including him on the shortlist despite his protestations.
Tyson Fury – and wife Paris – attended in 2015 weeks after Fury’s controversial comments emerged
Why has Tyson Fury fallen out with the BBC over SPOTY nomination?
Fury’s feud with the BBC Sports Personality of the Year awards stretches back to his nomination in 2015, the year he defeated Wladimir Klitschko to become Britain’s first heavyweight world champion for six years.
A petition to have Fury removed from the 2015 shortlist generated over 140,000 signatures after the boxing champ had made homophobic and sexist comments in an interview.
He finished that year in fourth place, and attended the awards where he made a speech. Fury also attended the 2018 version.
Fury was nominated again last year after beating Deontay Wilder, but made a similar threat like this year to be left off the shortlist. He finished in sixth place as F1 star Lewis Hamilton triumphed.
BBC ignored his threat, and like this year, kept him on the shortlist.
Fury told the Daily Mail: “The BBC would never let me win even if I knocked out King Kong.
“I will be relaxed in the Florida sunshine while the BBC get on with their SPOTY in winter. Even if they did want to give me another Special Award, which they did once, I won’t be making another speech for them.
“Anyhow, I believe my four nominations are a record. But much more important to me is that America have just given me their much bigger ESPY (US boxing award).”
Fury also attended in 2018 but in recent years has asked for his name to be left off shortlist
What is the BBC SPOTY 2021 shortlist?
Emma Raducanu tops the shortlist after her heroics to win the US Open.
Euro 2020 star Raheem Sterling and Olympic diver Tom Daley in his gold medal-winning year also feature.

He said: “I was the second highest paid fighter this year – only behind Canelo – and this is my second year of boxing.
“So the potential is massive. There’s big fights down the line.

    MIKE TYSON
Former world heavyweight champion Tyson revealed in October that he would be willing to fight Jake or his brother Logan.
He then followed that up by stating that he would knock out Jake ‘so f****** easy’ should the pair ever come to blows.
Asked on the Full Send Podcast if he could KO Paul, Tyson said: “So f***ing easy. Yeah, but I would never.
“I’d be against my own f***ing family. They love this little white motherf****er You know what I mean?
“He got balls. He’s got f***ing balls. When you see a white boy with balls, you know. I’m talking about for real, but f*** you motherf***er. Yeah, but nah man, let him have his f***ing reign.”

    CONOR McGREGOR
Paul has long been chasing a fight against the Notorious, with the American insisting last month he would beat the MMA star.
He then announced earlier this week that his team and McGregor’s camp are in constant talks about a bout inside the squared circle.
Paul told Graham Bensinger: “His manager is good friends with my manager and another one of my advisors and they talk constantly about making it happen.
“They’re like, ‘Yeah we’re down, we’re about it’.”

    CANELO ALVAREZ
Paul is confident a bout to face four-weight world champion Canelo, who he trolled in November with an impression of him, will materialise in the next few years.
And he recently hit out at one of the opponents the Mexican ace fought earlier this year, as he vowed to put up a better fight than Avni Yildirim.
He remarked: “I will fight Canelo 100 per cent. Look at this guy Avni Yildirim. His nickname was ‘The Turkish Warrior’. He got to fight Canelo.
“He sat down in the corner and quit. He didn’t throw a punch. Why can he get the fight but I can’t? I’m bigger than that guy. I’m stronger.
“It’s not about how long you’ve been doing something. It’s about how right you have been doing it.”

    FLOYD MAYWEATHER
Mayweather fought Paul’s sibling Logan earlier this year, with the duo going the full eight rounds in their exhibition bout.
Prior to that dust-up, Jake had infuriated Mayweather by taking his hat off his head, resulting in a mass brawl with punches thrown.
Jake claimed that Mayweather then tried to get him ‘killed behind the scenes’ by ‘gangsters’.
A potential fight between the two was mooted in October, though nothing come off it. More

Joseph Parker out to end Derek Chisora rivalry in red-hot fashion… to make up for being trapped in snowy Morecambe

JOSEPH PARKER needs to finish his Derek Chisora rivalry in red-hot fashion to make up for being trapped in freezing Morecambe. The New Zealand ace swaps his tropical paradise home for the Lancashire bay for training camps alongside best mate Tyson Fury and their shared trainer Andy Lee.
Parker is looking for a second win over Chisora this weekendCredit: PA
Parker posted a video on Instagram of his kids enjoying the Morecambe snow
But the brutal new covid travel restrictions mean he has no idea when he will be allowed back in his own country.
Thankfully the 29-year-old former WBO world champ is a hit in the local area and flew his wife and three daughters in just before the border rules changed.
But they have no idea when they will be able to fly back to all their other loved ones, so Parker wants a KO win to make up for the cold Christmas.
“I can’t get home to see my parents, siblings, friends and extended family,” he revealed. “But at least I have my wife and kids here now.
“We will have to spend at least Christmas and New Year here so I need to get this win.
“Morecambe is different to New Zealand, it’s a very quiet place, it’s good for camp and training because it’s just gym, apartment, eat and rest.

“After the fight we’ve got a nice plan to go to Center Parcs, it’s a new experience for my kids because they’ve never seen snow before and as soon as they arrived, it started snowing in Morecambe, they were running outside, beanie hats on, noses going all red.
“We love it here because everyone’s so welcoming and friendly and we get good support here.”
Parker had plenty of support among boxing fans when he burst onto the scene as a violent knockout artist.
But his popularity has waned as more and more of his bouts – in victory and defeat – have gone the distance.
And the refreshingly honest ace admits he is sick of a few of his own dull showings and he must get back to exciting the public.
“To be honest, I don’t want to be a 12-round fighter,” he said. “I want to go in there and take care of business.
“I haven’t done that for a long time and that sucks. I’ve developed this defensive, boring style and I want to change it up.
“Maybe I just tried to play it safe and counter. I know the opponents weren’t the same in the beginning of my career but I was always on the front foot, making the fight happen, being more aggressive, throwing combinations. I want to go back to that.
“I don’t want to be a 12-round fighter, too defensive, waiting to counter, not being on the front foot. That’s boring.”
What’s never boring is Chisora’s attitude to fight-week build-up and he has left Parker flummoxed with his antics in Manchester.
On Wednesday night Del Boy hosted an impromptu game of musical chairs, instead of training for his media workout.
And at Thursday’s press conference he taped his mouth shut and refused to talk unless promoter Eddie Hearn paid him extra.
Parker insists he isn’t rattled – just baffled.
“I honestly don’t know what to say about that,” he said after the silence stunt.

“I don’t know if he’s trying to rattle me or the press conference or just putting on a show. I have no idea what he’s trying to do. But he always gets people going and laughing.
“He knows how to work the crowd. If I did that, it’d be weird.
“If I went to the public workout and did musical chairs, that’d be weird. But when he does it, everyone accepts it, because it’s Derek – he’s a character, he’s great for boxing and I’m so happy to have this rematch with him.” More

Derek Chisora knows he has become fan favourite with ‘blood and defeats’ and promises thrills in Joseph Parker rematch

Chisora, 37, claims he now receives the same kind of adulation awarded to British fight legends Frank Bruno, Nigel Benn and Ricky Hatton.
And as he prepared for Saturday night’s rematch revenge showdown with Kiwi Joseph Parker at the Manchester Arena, Chisora declared: “People tell me they love me.
“People can change from hate to love over time.
“If you lock a guy in a room with nothing but a jar of Marmite for 24-hours a day, sooner or later he is going to love it.
“Fans love me because I have earned it with blood and defeats. I have been robbed in fights and they want me to do well.
“One thing I have realised with British fans is once they love you they will ALWAYS love you.

“If you have good product you will get customers coming back.
“If you have a s*** product, you will get no customers.”
Chisora struck up a friendship with Britain’s world heavyweight champ Tyson Fury over a two-fight rivalry that started in 2011.
But Fury has recently adopted Parker, 29, as his new buddy, opening up his Morecambe gym and home to train alongside the Kiwi.
However, Chisora – now nicknamed War – is out to show Fury which of his buddies is best.

From sickening body shots that take a split second to sink in, to wild hooked haymakers that snatch victory from the jaws of defeat, few sporting finales can top a KO.
Mexican gunslingers and America’s biggest bangers definitely did well in the UK and abroad.
But a selection of heavy-handed home fighters also went viral with an exciting mix of pinpoint punches, lucky shots and ruthless combinations.
SunSport tried to remember some the best UK KOs from 2021….
Conor Benn vs Chris Algieri – Dec 11 – Liverpool
The Destroyer lived up to his name with a thunderous right hand that pierced the American’s guard and put him to sleep on his feet.

Thank goodness for Benn’s new maturity and cool-headedness as he had a split-second opportunity to unload another blow on the veteran – when he was out cold and upright – but he held his cocked hand back and let him slump.
It was no wild haymaker either, Benn had bobbed and weaved well in the opening sessions.
Then he feinted, jabbed and arrowed in a thunderbolt. It was precise and concussive and left everyone wanting more.

Callum Smith vs Lenin Castillo – Sept 25 – London
Now 33-year-old Castillo has recovered, this can be looked back on as a moment of sporting excellence.
But for a horribly long period inside Tottenham Stadium, on the undercard of Anthony Joshua vs Oleksandr Usyk, there was a genuine fear we had seen a tragedy unfold.
Liverpool ace Smith, making his debut up at light-heavy, clearly enjoyed cutting less weight and landed a sickening right hand.
Everything about the following ten or so minutes was scary as Castillo’s body remained stiff and his legs hung in the air and shook, Smith took to a neutral corner, bent to his knees and prayed hard.
The ringside medics were magnificent but it felt like an age before he was whisked away and to hospital where he thankfully made a full recovery.

Dillian Whyte vs Alexander Povetkin II – Mar 27 – Gibraltar
Whyte’s doubters will claim the Russian warhorse was suffering from Covid after effects and looking for a payday after winning the original bout with a thunderous uppercut KO.
But take a look at the bombs he threw in the first couple of rounds and the giant right hands he ate, without ever looking for an easy way out.
When the end came it was savage, another Body Snatcher right to the skull smashed Povetkin into the ropes and he bounced off them – cartoon-style – straight into another right hand and one final left hook.
SunSport witnessed the valiant Russian needing help leaving the arena a couple of hours later, such was the severity of the finish and Povetkin retired soon after.

Lee McGregor vs Vincent Legrand – Aug 6 – Belfast
Scotland’s European bantamweight suffered the first scare of his promising career when he was dropped in the second by the 32-0 Frenchman.
Legrand landed a flush right hand to drop the Brit but he could not finish the job as McGregor dug in to survive and eventually recover from the shocking Belfast decking.
Within two rounds he had started to turn the tide and was testing and tapping Legrand’s guard with uppercuts inclose.
And once he had his prey distracted by those probing shots up the middle, he whipped a right hook into his ribs and folded Legrand in half and he failed to beat the count.
Most great fighters value a body shot finish over a head shot and for McGregor’s to have came after a knockdown for himself was extra impressive.

Joe Cordina vs Joshua Hernandez – Aug 14 – Essex
The Welsh Wizard had gained a reputation as a clinical and expert boxer who usually needed the judges to confirm his victories.
But, when faced with a game American visiter in Eddie Hearn’s back garden, we saw his ruthless side burst out inside the first minute.

A jab teed up an arrow of a right hand that robbed Hernandez of all of his senses and left him sprayed out on the canvas.
The peach of a blow left the visitor blitzed on the floor and unable to beat the count.
It was a rare glimpse of Cordina’s brilliant power punching and a warning to the rest of the super-feather division that he is a genuine threat.

He flexed his biceps before clenching his shoulders and abs.
And then came the throat-slitting action.
Paul was set to fight at his lowest ever weight in the Florida showdown.
His coach BJ Flores promised a ‘quicker, more aggressive’ style from the 4-0 star.
The trainer told The W.A.D.E Concept Youtube channel: “Jake’s got a big chip on his shoulder from the last Tyron fight. He really does.
“He’s been working very hard and instead of going out and celebrating the money or whatever else he made on the last fight, he got right back in the gym.
“He started working hard, we’ve switched a couple of things up, he’ll come in lighter for this fight, he’ll be quicker, more aggressive.
“His output is going to be faster paced and we can still box and move the whole fight but it’s going to be a much different version of Jake Paul.
“So I’m really excited about it and Jake just can’t wait to get in there, doesn’t matter against who.”
Woodley was a last-minute replacement for Tommy Fury after the Brit withdrew through illness and injury.

And although Paul may lose out on some PPVs sales as a result, he could still make eight figures, as he has done in his previous three fights according to his own claims.
Paul revealed a £350,000 ‘Most Valuable Boxer’ belt this week featuring diamond watches and a Hermes bag.
And he even gifted Woodley a Rolex in the build-up to the big bout.
