      Jake Paul’s prediction before Tyron Woodley fight came true after saying he would KO and ’embarrass’ ex-UFC champion

      He was due to fight Tommy Fury until the British former reality TV star pulled out with a broken rib and chest infection.
      So it gave Paul, 24, the perfect opportunity to right the wrong when Woodley, 39, filled in for Fury, 22, on late notice.
      And the YouTuber left those in attendance gobsmacked following his brutal sixth-round finish.
      But it came as no shock to Paul, who revealed in a social media post that he visualised the viral KO.
      A sign read: “I Jake Paul will knock out, defeat & embarrass Tyron Woodley, Dec 18th live on Showtime.”
      Woodley joins YouTuber ‘AnEsonGib’, ex-NBA star Nate Robinson, 37, and retired UFC welterweight Ben Askren, 37, on Paul’s KO list.

      And he boasted of sending them into his his meme collection.
      Paul said: “I’ve done more than enough, four massive fights in 13 months. Nobody in the history of boxing has done what I’ve done at this age. 
      “Massive pay-per-views, knocked out every person that I’ve fought, the only person that’s as active as me is Canelo, and he’s 50+ fights in.

      Five opponents for Jake Paul after Tyron Woodley KO including Tommy Fury, Mike Tyson and UFC star Conor McGregor

      JAKE PAUL has now officially knocked out every opponent he has faced – and promised the best is yet to come. After beating Tyron Woodley on points in August, the YouTuber vowed to leave no doubt in the rematch.

      And following a brutal KO in round six of their rematch, Paul proved good on his promise.
      Before and after the win, the American celebrity called out some of the biggest names out there.
      And here SunSport runs down five potential next opponents for Paul.
      Tommy Fury
      Fury, 22, was set to fight Paul, 24, in a celebrity grudge match until he pulled out with a broken rib and chest infection.
      Woodley, 39, instead filled in on short notice and Fury was warned he had missed his chance forever.
      But the biggest knock on Paul’s unbeaten five-fight record is that he is yet to face an opponent with prior professional boxing experience.
      And with Fury also a novice at 7-0, and physically equal to Paul, the fight could be too well matched to leave on the shelf.

      Conor McGregor
      The Irishman, 33, has been Paul’s No1 target ever since stepping foot in the ring.
      McGregor does still have two bouts left on his UFC contract and in turn would be blocked from competing outside the octagon.
      But in 2017 UFC president Dana White allowed his biggest attraction to fight and lose to Floyd Mayweather, 44, in the ring.
      McGregor is likely the only one able to do the same again, and if the money was right, boxing Paul could be too lucrative to turn down.

      Nate Diaz
      Diaz, 36, on the other hand has just one UFC fight on his current deal and has already hinted at crossing over to the ring.
      And Paul recently revealed he is looking to take a break from fighting after four bouts in 13 months.
      It could give Diaz enough time to finish his final fight with the UFC before setting up a boxing match between them next year.
      Diaz was also in attendance at Paul’s rematch with Woodley as his team-mate Chris Avila, 28, was on the undercard.

      Anderson Silva
      The Brazilian, 46, was released from his UFC contract in 2020 and returned to the boxing ring, where he was already 1-1.
      What followed was a win over former boxing champ Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, 35, and fellow MMA legend Tito Ortiz, 46.
      Silva then entered talks to fight Paul but nothing prevailed, meaning the matchup remains a possibility.
      His current pro boxing record and legendary striking skills means even at his veteran age, he would provide a step up for Paul.

      Mike Tyson
      The heavyweight icon, 55, in November 2020 made his return after 15 years out and drew with Roy Jones Jr, 52, in an exhibition.
      Paul knocked out ex-NBA player Nate Robinison, 37, on the undercard and built a friendship with Tyson.
      But recently, Iron Mike has been linked with a fight against Paul’s brother Logan, 26.
      And Paul then added fuel to the fire by naming Tyson on his four-man wish list of opponents.

      And the fight went how many people expected, with Serrano dominating the entire bout before securing a wide unanimous decision – 99-91, 99-90, 100-90.
      During the ten two-minute rounds the Puerto Rican superstar landed a sickening 237 punches – with Gutierrez eating 37 punches in the first round alone.
      The punishment she took was evident after the contest as she was snapped posing with Serrano with a shockingly swollen face.
      And Serrano showed her respect for Gutierrez as she praised the Madrid-born boxer’s toughness.
      She said: “I want to thank my dance partner Miriam Gutiérrez. She didn’t come to lay down.
      “I don’t care who is in front of me, I’m not coming to play! She just told me she weighed 160lbs today. Thank god I worked with my girl Nisa Rodriguez who was at 165lbs.

      “She’s a tough fighter. She did say she was in better shape this time than when she fought Katie Taylor because she had a year lay-off.
      “Now, she just had a fight last month that she won. I fought the best Miriam Gutierrez and I beat her.
      “This isn’t a sad or bitter loss, it’s a dignified one, it was a war from the get go until the end. It’s been an honour.
      “I wanted to be a complete fighter. The knockout, if it came, it came. But I just wanted to make sure that I beat her.
      “The strategy was to just go out there and just beat her, beat her every single round and dominate her. Just box and show that I’m an all-around fighter.

      Meanwhile, Serrano, who is now managed by Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions, is hoping to secure a mouthwatering clash against undisputed lightweight champion Taylor in early 2022.
      Taylor also beat Gutierrez by unanimous decision last year and has followed that up with three more wins in 2021 – the latest of which came against Firuza Sharipova earlier this month.
      Serrano and Taylor looked set to face off in 2020 before the coronavirus pandemic led to negotiations breaking down.
      But now Taylor’s promoter Eddie Hearn is confident a deal can be reached to get the two legends together in the ring for ‘the biggest fight in women’s boxing history’.
      Speaking last month about the fight, he told The Mirror: “We’ve been speaking with Most Valuable Promotions and we want to do it here in New York.
      “Katie and Serrano fight in December, so I’m looking for the end of April for that fight, or something like that.

      Paul has now knocked out every opponent he has fought having left Woodley out for the count in their rematch.
      In his first three fights, he beat YouTuber ‘AnEsonGib’, ex-NBA player Nate Robinson, 37, and retired UFC welterweight Ben Askren, also 37.
      But after KO’ing Woodley, who he first beat on points in August, Paul set his sights on two more UFC veterans.

      That is the insight from Tyson’s confidante, ex bodyguard and chauffeur Rudy Gonzalez, who had a ringside seat at fights and home battles during the New Yorker’s rise to infamy.
      Gonzalez said: “When we trained in Vegas his sparring sessions were from 12 to 5pm.
      “He would be the nicest guy beforehand asking the sparring partners: ‘How you doing today, how’s the family?’
      “Then he would just knock out five guys all out so within an hour so there was nobody left.
      “I saw him punch the heavy bag so hard it broke a few times from the chains and the other boxers would just leave saying: ‘we are not f****** with you today. I do not care how much money you pay me.’
      “Anyone who felt they were up for taking him on, he would hit them and they’d snap. Soon after they would pack their bags.

      Gonzalez was by Tyson’s side as he rose from the most terrifying teenage boxer in history to become the youngest heavyweight champion of all time aged 20.
      Under the guidance of legendary trainer Cus D’Amato, who became Tyson’s legal guardian after serving time in juvenile prison, he transformed from teen criminal into a street fighting hoodlum and ultimately a polished power punching boxing phenom.
      While living with D’Amato at his Catskills home, his training was far more regimented.
      BUILDING A BOXING FRANKENSTEIN
      D’Amato passed months before Tyson became heavyweight champion in 1986.
      Gonzalez said: “When I first worked with him he had to be home by 9pm, because we were running 10 miles in the morning.
      “His manager Jim Jacob and trainer Kevin Rooney along with Cus would make sure I enforced that training schedule.
      “Mike was so disciplined. He would sit upstairs in the house studying boxing films for hours, seeing how different fighters moved and hit.
      “Cus was injecting him with centuries of training. The peek a boo technique it felt so clean and natural for him. Cus built a boxing Frankenstein.
      “Cus would repeat over and over to Mike from the beginning, ‘Do you know you’re going to be heavyweight champion of the world someday?’
      “If you say it enough times, you believe it. And if you believe it, then you’ll have no doubt.”
      Gonzalez, whose book about his Tyson experiences – The Inner Ring – is being developed into an animated movie, added that other staff were terrified of Tyson during his training time.
      Gonzalez has made headlines in the past with his book about his time with Tyson, pointing the finger at promoter Don King for many of the star’s troubles.
      He claims King ‘psychologically broke him’, adding: “Mike’s story would have had a different ending if Cus had lived longer.
      “His sister Denise always made me promise to keep Mike away from Don, calling him a clown.”

      Paul, 24, admitted he does not know who his next opponent will be in a blow to Fury, 22, but will ly definitetake some time off after four fights in 13 months.
