      UFC stars Conor McGregor, Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal will find it ‘very difficult’ to beat Jake Paul, says his coach

      JAKE PAUL’S trainer said it would be ‘very difficult’ for Conor McGregor, Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal to beat the YouTube star. Paul has called out the trio of UFC stars in the past, having built a rivalry with the premier MMA promotion.

      And all three are potential opponents for the future, his head coach BJ Flores revealed.
      But the ex-cruiserweight contender also insisted despite their wealth of experience in the cage, Paul will have their number in the ring.
      Flores told The Schmo: “There’s a lot of names, a lot of guys, you know obviously guys that are in the UFC now that have contracts.
      “Masvidal and Diaz and guys like that and McGregor, a lot of guys that would make good matchups with Jake and he’s going to beat them.
      “You know, that’s obviously my biased point of view but it’s going to be very difficult for them to be able to do what they got to do to be able to beat Jake for eight rounds or ten rounds.”
      Paul, 24, is now 5-0 as a boxer having most recently knocked out Tyron Woodley, 39, three months after beating the ex-UFC champion on points.

      “We talked about a couple of options but Nakisa (Bidarian) and Jake decided to have that rematch with Tyron as he deserves his holiday and time off and we didn’t want to push it back and not allow him to fight.
      “It’s the worst feeling in the world so I don’t think Tommy is in Jake’s mind at all right now.
      “Tommy should go and do his own pay-per-view so we can see the numbers, analyse them and go from there.”

      ‘Mentally it killed me’ – Anthony Joshua opens up on Oleksandr Usyk loss and vows ‘I will redeem myself’ in rematch

      It was only AJ’s second ever loss, following a shock round seven stoppage to Andy Ruiz Jr in June 2019.
      Joshua, 32, then beat Ruiz, also 32, in the rematch six months later – and is now plotting similar revenge against Usyk, 34.
      He told Sky Sports: “I have high expectations of myself.
      “That’s why I felt like when I lost the first time I never made excuses but I had my reason.
      “I took my loss but I knew I would get it back. So I just brushed that one. But this one hurt because I was 100 per cent.
      “There were no problems. Everything was cool. I just went in there and just lost to the better man on the night, and it hurt.
      “But it gave me motivation to pull myself out of that position. Mentally it killed me, and I fought my way back, and I will redeem myself.”

      Joshua has been left questioning his training team after the comprehensive defeat to Usyk.
      AJ has since spent time in America visiting several gyms and coaches, ahead of his contracted rematch with the Ukrainian this year.
      He was even spotted in the gym with boxing legend Floyd Mayweather, 44, during a recent trip to Dubai.
      Joshua has not yet confirmed whether he will replace head coach Rob McCracken, or add to his training team.
      But he admitted there is now no margin for error, with the chance to regain his heavyweight throne on the horizon.

      Joshua said: “Let’s focus on what’s needed. It has to come from the top-down. I’m the last piece of the puzzle. I’m the last performance.

      “Dietary needs, sleep, recovery, mindset training to what I’m listening to musically, motivational speeches, and stuff like that.
      “This is the biggest stage of my career, fighting for the heavyweight championship of the world.

      JULIO CESAR CHAVEZ JR has vowed to knock out ‘garbage’ Jake Paul and called for a ‘winner-takes-all’ fight. The former WBC middleweight champion revealed he is in talks to face the YouTuber-turned unbeaten boxer.

      And such is his confidence, he has challenged Paul to put his money where his mouth is – by putting their combined purses up for grabs.
      Chavez Jr, 35, said on Instagram: “I assure you I will beat Jake Paul’s ass.
      “I want it as winner-takes-all when I fight Jake Paul. Winner takes all the money.”
      He then added: “Jake Paul is garbage. I’m gonna knock him out.”
      Paul, 24, was most recently set to face Tommy Fury, 22, until the British former reality TV star pulled out with a broken rib and chest infection.

      Following the withdrawal, Tyron Woodley, 39, filled in as a replacement, four months after losing to Paul, 24, on points and was knocked out in round six.
      Fury has since called to have their fight rescheduled, but according to the YouTuber’s trainer BJ Flores, Paul has no interest.
      Flores told The Schmo: “Yeah he fumbled, I don’t even think Tommy Fury is in Jake’s mind right now.
      “We all thought at the time that we would be surprised if this fight comes off.

      But Fury is one of the highest-paid fighters in the world and in 2020, according to Forbes, he earned £42m from fighting, endorsements and his WWE debut.
      Whyte had hoped for a 45 per cent split due to his status as WBC ‘interim’ champ.
      But Fury’s superior profile has seen the WBC award him the lion’s share of the potential fight purse.
      Warren said: “Certainly when you’ve got a heavyweight generating the money that Tyson’s generating, there’s never gonna be that kind of split.
      “That is not something that’s new, this has been this way for over 25 years at least. Most of the organisations operate this way and that’s what it is.
      “They can make their appeal, nobody would in any way from our perspective say you can’t do that, but fact of the matter is I don’t think it will make a difference.”

      And the social media platform reprimanded Bridges further, issuing a warning to the boxer that she could lose access to her account if she posts similar photos in future.

      The WBC heavyweight champ’s trilogy with rival Deontay Wilder was contested in front of raucous crowds at Los Angeles’ Staples Center and Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden and the T-Mobile Arena.
      The Gypsy King’s clashes with Tom Schwarz and Otto Wallin at the latter two arenas, however, were only attended by 9,012 and 8,249 fans respectively.
      And those poor attendances have left PBC chief Smith believing the burly Brit needs a good dance partner to sell out arenas.

      “But in America, who’s coming to see Tyson Fury fight anyone other than Deontay Wilder?”
      Fury won’t have to worry about selling out arenas if his proposed grudge match with Dillian Whyte takes place in the UK.
      The WBC have ordered the former lineal heavyweight champ to defend his title against his old sparring partner later this year.
      Purse bids for the Battle of Britain were due to take place this week but have been pushed back until January 18 to allow further negotiations between the two parties.
      During an appearance on talkSPORT, Queensberry Promotions chief Frank Warren said: “First of all, the purse bid’s been pushed back by a week now.
      “That was done [Saturday], so the purse bid will be seven days after so I think it’s next Monday or Tuesday.
