Conor McGregor slams ‘Versace t***’ Tyson Fury for not helping Billy Joe Saunders’ dad in row after Canelo Alvarez loss

CONOR MCGREGOR has blasted ‘Versace t***’ Tyson Fury for not helping Billy Joe Saunders’ dad after he was shoved by security following his son’s loss to Canelo Alvarez. The Brit’s fight against the Mexican icon was waved off last summer due to ‘Superb’ suffering a broken eye socket.

The star’s worried father Tom decided he needed to check on his son, and leapt over the barrier.
But Tom, wearing a blue cap, was shoved forcibly backwards by a security guard, before others joined in to help Saunders Sr.
However, WBC heavyweight champion Fury decided to stay out of the brawl – something which his next opponent Dillian Whyte has already called him a ‘coward’ for.
Wearing a Versace shirt, the 6ft 9in 19st-plus Gypsy King stayed behind the ringside barrier and appeared to be begging for calm.
Now UFC legend McGregor has joined in and says Fury ‘bottled it’ during the melee.
The Irishman appeared to be irked by a tweet from Fury that praised McGregor’s longtime rival Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Tyson Fury says Anthony Joshua ‘won’t’ rematch Oleksandr Usyk and predicts Ukrainian to ‘STOP’ AJ if fight goes ahead

TYSON FURY doesn’t reckon Anthony Joshua will end up fighting Oleksandr Usyk again.Joshua had the unified heavyweight titles ripped from his clutches in his Tottenham tussle with slick southpaw Usyk last September.

But WBC heavyweight champ Tyson Fury doesn’t foresee the fight coming to fruitionCredit: POLARIS
AJ immediately exercised the rematch clause placed into his contract to face the undefeated Ukranian, although Fury doesn’t believe the bout will come to fruition.
He told iFL TV: “I personally don’t think it happens because Joshua doesn’t want it and two if it does happen, which it won’t, I think Usyk stops him this time.
“You heard it here first, and I rarely get them [predictions] wrong to be fair, rarely.
“By the way, Eddie I see all the stuff you say about me not wanting to fight Usyk.
“Get your man to fight him and get that big L [loss] again, please. Prove me, wrong dosser, you work for me.”
Fury, 33, is currently preparing for a grudge match with old sparring partner Dillian Whyte – although he could’ve faced Usyk had an eleventh-hour deal to make an undisputed bout not fallen through last month.
AJ promoter Eddie Hearn accused Fury of ducking the bout, a claim that prompted The Gypsy King to say: “I’d fight Usyk seven days a week, 62 times on a Sunday in his backyard.
“I’d fight Usyk and Joshua on the same night, I don’t value them, they’re bums compared to me.
“So as for avoiding somebody, I’ve just fought Deontay Wilder three times. Do you think I’m bothered about a middleweight or some bodybuilder? I’ll annihilate them.

Eddie Hearn recently revealed Usyk vs Joshua 2 will take place in MayCredit: Marc Aspland
“Just for everybody to know, the only reason this fight fell of bed was because AJ wanted more money last minute and he thought I was going to give him an extra five million.
“Usyk will get his fight with me not a problem, when he’s beat Joshua again. Then Joshua has no chance in fighting for the undisputed championship, end of.”
A date for Joshua’s high-stakes rematch with Usyk has yet to be finalised, although Hearn recently revealed the contest will take place in the UK in May.
Promoter Eddie Hearn told the BBC: “It’s clear AJ will be fighting Usyk, which is his preferred choice.
“May is when you’ll see that fight.
“There’s the UK, America, the Middle East – we’ve had offers all around the world for that fight.
“I’d like to do it in the UK and we’ll see.”

But the southpaw rallied heroically in the second half and made up for the cruel 2019 world title loss he suffered when he boldly went to Liverpool and Callum Smith landed a harsh home decision.
Jacobs, 35, had been out of the ring for over a year but he raced into a lead by peppering a sleeper Ryder.
But he turned it around and kept his super-middleweight world title dream alive by digging in and salvaging a split decision after the three ringside judges scored the bout 115-113 Jacobs and 115-113 twice for Ryder.
Jacobs reddened Ryder’s nose with a stiff right hand in the opener, hushing the crowd and the local staggered backwards when another right rifled into his ribcage.
The Brooklyn ace was confident enough to switch stance in the second and cracked Ryder with a southpaw lead right hook.
Ryder’s first real success was a similar shot that grazed the two-time world champion’s temple.

Ryder was clipped with an arrow for a straight right in the third and the Englishman was struggling to stop Jacobs bank the early rounds.
A double jab teed up another Jacobs right hand at the start of the fourth, it bludgeoned Ryder’s nose but he absorbed it bravely.
Ryder never stopped marching forward but the North London leftie was walking on to all manner of Jacobs shots.
Ryder enjoyed almost all of the fifth and looked set to bank his first clear round but Jacobs stepped on the gas in the last 30 seconds and landed a handful of spiteful right hands that snatched the session back and bruised the Brit.
Again, in the sixth, Ryder made a strong start and looked set to secure a stanza with the judges.
But Jacobs waited until the final 30 seconds to land a peach of a right hook and then rock Ryder’s head back with a couple of straight shots.
Ryder was warned for hitting on the break but seconds later it seemed worth the risk as Jacobs threatened to unravel.

The Englishman landed half a dozen clean crisp shots that had the Brooklyner wobbled and worried but he made it to the bell.
Ryder was great in round eight too, blending rough-house tactics with precision punching and pummelling Jacobs into a daze he made it back to his stool in.
Jacobs had aged horribly by the end of the ninth, as Ryder’s relentlessness started to turn the tide of the thrilling row.
Ten was nip and tuck until the very end when Ryder connected with a couple of crisp digs that jolted Jacob’s head back.
By the 11th, Jacobs’ ringside family were begging him to abandon his southpaw tactics as it was helping Ryder with his best moments.
Both breathless warriors connected with digs in the 12th and the final punch both men threw was to touch gloves to end a brilliant old-school affair.

The now deleted pictures show him grinning at the camera while visiting the death camp which saw thousands of people killed.
His “tone deaf” post sparked a huge outcry from members of the public, with one asking him if he knew it was a “concentration camp and not Disneyland.”
The two-time World Champion posted the series of selfies, which have now been deleted, with the comment “lovely day trip today round Auschwitz, opens your eyes a lot”.
One of the pictures showed him standing with his girlfriend at the entrance to Auschwitz, and has defended himself and the photos – branding his critics as “keyboard warriors.”

Another said: “I do think it is good that they took the time to visit Auschwitz and I’m sure they learned a lot but the optics here are not great.
“You really don’t need to take photos at an extermination camp – you certainly shouldn’t be taking selfies. The site is a mass grave.”
A third added: “Whoever it is I hope he gets sparked clean out, there obviously isn’t much of a brain there to damage in fairness anyway.
“You would assume that after seeing the backlash to his grossly insensitive tweet he might acknowledge his mistake, instead he makes fun of it. D***head.”
But McDonnell deided to fight back, sparring with anyone who had disagreed with his now deleted post.
He said: “Obviously meaning a nice day out with the misses her in Poland, and the place opens your eyes, chill your bean.”
“Ok mate it’s a tourist place is it not so if we visit we can’t smile, come on pal.
“That’s why I am there obviously, I have a weekend away with my girlfriend, I’m not going to not smile am I, but I understand what’s happened chill out a bit.”
He also said that those criticising him needed to “get a life” and said that it was “getting boring.”
Auschwitz-Birkenau is the largest of the Nazi concentration camps and 1.1m prisoners, mostly Jews, died there.
It was first constructed to hold Polish political prisoners, who began to arrive in May 1940.But Adolf Hitler then presided over the extermination of those arriving, with the first inmates executed in September 1941.
From early 1942 until late 1944, transport trains delivered Jews to the camp’s gas chambers from all over German-occupied Europe, where they were killed en masse with the pesticide Zyklon B.
It was finally liberated in January 1945, with one in six of the Jews exterminated during the Holocaust dying there.

Chris Eubank Jr aiming to put Brighton’s Amex Stadium on the boxing map with fight against world champ Gennady Golovkin

CHRIS EUBANK JR wants to put Brighton’s Amex Stadium on the boxing map.The Hove-born middleweight beat Liam Williams in Cardiff and has lots of potential fights now.

A front-runner is old enemy Billy Joe Saunders, who proudly won his second world title at his local Stevenage FC ground in 2019.
Sheffield star Kell Brook, another possible opponent, realised a childhood dream when he boxed at Sheffield United’s Bramall Lane in 2017.
World champion Gennady Golovkin is the ideal rival and Eubank Jr, 32, says his star appeal means headlining at the Seagulls — who punch above their weight in the Premier League — is a serious subject.
He told SunSport: “Bringing Golovkin or anyone else to the Amex is not a throwaway comment or fantasy.
“It’s a brilliant new stadium with a Premier League football club in a seaside town, and tourist attraction.
“Lots of other fighters have had homecoming fights and it is definitely something I want and have earned.

“I’ve boxed around the world and never been afraid to go into an opponent’s backyard, so let’s see if anyone is brave enough for this challenge.
“To be the first boxer to take a show to the Amex would be historic.
“London gets to hold most of the major shows in the south of England so it would be something special.”
A SunSport source at Brighton said: “We’re always open-minded to staging major events at the Amex, but are constrained by the Premier League season and this coming summer by the women’s Euros.”
Eubank Jr’s British boxing legend dad Chris was ringside for the unanimous points win over Welshman Williams eight days ago.
And Eubank Jr said: “He was happy with it, we got the job done. I did what I had to win comfortably.
“I made a statement and proved I am what I’ve said I am, and that’s a far superior fighter to him.” More

Khan – who is fighting for the 40th time in his pro career – is determined to end his rivalry with Special K, also 35, with a spectacular victory.
Speaking in their Sky Sports: The Gloves Are Off debate, Khan said: “I’ve got everything.
“Better looks, better speed, better power, the engine, the chin.
“Both of us might not be the best at taking the best shots which is the honest truth I’m speaking honestly.
“Those eye sockets are not going to help, are they?”
    ‘I WANT TO HURT HIM’
Khan previously said: “I think it comes down to how hard you’ve worked and how hard I’ve worked going into this fight.
“Obviously with the great sparring, great game plan we have for this fight, I’m just going to go in there and hurt Kell, that’s what I want to do.
“I don’t want to go in there and just box him, I want to go in there to hurt him and to put him away.
“He’s already got smashed up eye sockets, he’s already been beaten, knocked out, this is the time now where I finish his career off so he never needs to look at boxing again.
“This is going to be a nice payday for you, Kell Brook, so you get this payday and walk away, leave the sport happy.”
