      Paul in June took American legend Floyd Mayweather the distance in their eight-round exhibition bout.
      And it left his reputation in the ring as impressive as ever, adding to speculation he will fight once more.
      So here SunSport runs down five potential opponents for the 26-year-old social media influencer.
      Whindersson
      The Brazilian – full name real named Whindersson Nunes Batista – is an internet star with a massive online following.
      He recently drew against ex-world champion boxer Acelino Popo Freitas in an exhibition bout and called out Paul afterwards.
      And in an interview with TMZ, Paul said: “There’s this Brazilian guy, his name is Whindersson, who I’ve got my eyes on.”

      Paul has continued to accuse Mayweather of not paying him the full amount owed for their summer exhibition.
      He even rejected a rematch because of the pay row, but that is a clear indicator that talks of a second fight have at least taken place.

      The brother of heavyweight champion Tyson was due to face Paul’s younger sibling Jake in a grudge match in December.
      But Fury pulled out injured with a broken rib and has been told he blew his multimillion pound chance.
      Paul has before traded words with the 2019 Love Islander, and if Fury wants a shot at Jake, beating his older brother could be his pathway to it.

      Tyron Woodley
      Woodley was twice beaten by Jake, firstly on points in August then brutally knocked out in their rematch four months later.
      The ex-UFC champ and Jake now have a new found respect for each other and that could lead to potential opportunities.
      Fighting Paul to continue the storyline cannot be ruled out and gives fans the chance to compare the polarising brothers.

      Vitor Belfort
      Belfort in September shamefully beat up a 58-year-old Evander Holyfield and called out the Paul brothers afterwards.
      And while Jake appears completely uninterested, Paul may fancy his chances.

      The champion has now signed his contract but Whyte is yet to put pen to paper, while also giving his rival the silent treatment.
      Hall of Fame promoter Arum has now claimed the British contender wants more to come his way before he starts flogging the fight.
      He said on Queensberry Promotions’ YouTube channel: “He’s trying to get more money. Simple as that. He’s trying to hold us up.
      “One thing when you win a purse bid, it says that the fighters will help in ways to promote.
      “Well that’s sort of ambiguous. And most fighters, because they’re professional they will promote.
      “Now he’s saying, ‘I want extra money to promote, because you’re stuck paying me what the purse bids said which is $7.3m and I want some more money from you to go out there and promote’.

      “And our position is, well we’re not going to give it to you. Now, if the fight does enormously well, yeah we’ll give you a taste at the backend where everybody’s made money.
      “But we’re not going to be put in a position where you’re threatening us, to not participate in the promotion. If he doesn’t, he’s a damn fool.
      “Because again, there’s always tomorrow and even if he loses the fight, which he figures to do, by participating in the promotion he builds his own image and his own career.
      “And secondly and even more important, he really needs the exposure from this big fight and his threat is, that he’s not going to avail himself to that exposure.”
      Whyte, 33, is set to receive only a 20 per cent split of the purse bid, a decision he’s believed to be appealing.
      But the winner of the fight will receive a ten per cent bonus, meaning the challenger could take his earnings to £9m if he pulled off the upset.
      Whyte has until February 19 to sign the contract, with Fury already putting pen to paper.
      April 23 is the targeted date with Wembley’s 90,000-seater a new frontrunner to host.

      McGregor accused Fury of failing to help Saunders’ dad in a row with security at his son’s blockbuster battle with pound-for-pound king Canelo Alvarez.
      Tempers appeared to have cooled on Sunday evening until Fury returned to Twitter to fire off a taunt over The Notorious’ recent UFC record.
      He tweeted: “@TheNotoriousMMA has done more Tapping than MJ’s old dance shoes.”
      And that seems to have ignited McGregor’s famously short fuse, with the Irish hero letting fly with foul-mouthed salvo in Fury’s direction.

      The 33-year-old former two-weight UFC champ appears to have been referencing Saunders, who Fury insisted was his pal in his earlier tweet dismissing McGregor as a bully.
      Cryptically, McGregor also deleted and then replaced the original tweet in which he labelled Fury a ‘Versace t***’.
      In its place he wrote another tweet along similar lines.
      It read: “Oh no people don’t like me what will I ever do hahahahaaha idiot. You are just a little r** l***er bro. Thats all.
      “You stood there while your friends father was being attacked and done nothing. That’s the be all end all bro. God luck, God bless.”

      A source close to the former ‘Baddest Man on the Planet’ said: “Mike did not want to resume full-scale training to a level that the world would expect, unless he thought the money was right.
      “But what seemed like a good idea at the turn of the year is now no longer a top priority.”
      Tyson and Paul’s reps had been secretly thrashing out plans for the pay per view bout, expected to happen later this year, with a potential windfall of £36million ($50million).
      But a business associate of Tyson told Sun Online: “The last few weeks have seen a change for Mike. He was on board for an exhibition bout with Jake in Vegas, but word is that the deal is not quite what he expected.”
      Tyson also isn’t keen on putting his body through the rigours of gruelling training sessions similar to those he did ahead of his victory against Roy Jones Jr. fight.

      YouTuber turned boxer Paul, meanwhile, hasn’t set foot inside the ring since his viral KO of former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley last December.
      But The Problem Child – who is currently promoting Amanda Serrano’s eagerly-anticipated clash with Katie Taylor – is seemingly eyeing a September return.

      “I’m going to do these press conferences over the next two weeks here to help with the promotion around Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano and I’m very busy on the business side of things with my venture capital fund.

      Mayweather boasted before and afterwards about earning $100million (£72million) for the exhibition – which he dubbed a ‘legalised bank robbery’.
      But Paul has since alleged on social media that he is owed money by the retired boxer, nicknamed ‘Money’.
      Responding to an article about Mayweather’s wealth last month, Paul tweeted: “Yeah because the dirty little rat hasn’t paid me yet lol. It’s been 6 months.
      “But no worries @Floydmayweather  @KSI and I are going to make back the money you stole from me & more. January 4.”
      He has now labelled the former world champion a ‘s***bag’ for not paying him the reported eight-figure sum agreed for his bout.
      Paul says he ‘made a mistake’ trusting the 44-year-old star and confirmed that he has opened a lawsuit against him.

      He told TMZ Sports: ‘It’s honestly bull****, [Having] people who aren’t a professional promotional company controlling where the money goes… we made that mistake.
