TYSON FURY has laughed off Derek Chisora’s claim that Anthony Joshua could ‘blast him out’. Chisora, who was twice beaten by Fury, predicted AJ has the punch power to shut the Gypsy King’s lights out.

But the WBC champion – who got up off the floor to beat heavy-hitter Deontay Wilder in October – scoffed at the suggestion.
Fury said in a Twitter video: “This is a message to Derek Chisora, I’ve just seen that you said you think AJ would blast me out. Never in a million years.
“If the biggest puncher in history couldn’t blast me out and Wladimr Klitschko couldn’t blast me out, a big old body builder can’t blast me out my friend.”
Chisora, 38, is a former Finchley Amateur Boxing team-mate of AJ’s and is now part of the British superstars’ 258 Management stable.
And he backed Joshua, 32, to upset Fury, 33, in a potential fight – but only if he gets in down inside the distance.
Chisora told talkSPORT radio: “I’ll go with AJ. AJ’s power punch is unbelievable.

“If AJ fights Fury, he has to go on him straight away, blast him out. He can’t box him. If he boxes with him, he loses.
“If you give Fury time on the ball then you’re in trouble.”
Joshua and Fury were all-set to finally fight on August 14 in Saudi Arabia, in the first-ever, four-belt heavyweight undisputed title decider.
But Wilder, 36, was still owed a contracted trilogy bout, which later cancelled the all-English unification.
Fury went on to KO the American after 11 epic rounds, but two weeks later AJ was stunned by Oleksandr Usyk, 34, on points.
Joshua is now set to invoke his right to an immediate rematch in April, and Chisora said with the right game plan, revenge is his.

He added: “I think AJ wins that second time round.
“When I spoke to him I asked him if he watched the fight back, he said he only watched four rounds because he didn’t like the way he boxed.
“I asked him what he was going to do [in the rematch], he said: ‘You’ll see.’”
But typically, Fury doubted Joshua’s chances of avenging defeat to Usyk, and goaded that he will be the one knocked out.
He said: “So Del, he ain’t got the bottle to fight Usyk again. Usyk will smash him next time, properly.
“Never mind beat him on points, he’ll knock him out. But listen, it only takes one man like me.
“There’s only ever been one man on these shores, and he’s called the Gypsy King, AKA Tyson Fury.”

If fans thought Logan Paul – who did weigh TWO STONE heavier – had little hope against Mayweather, then Belhasa is in trouble.
The Middle East-based vlogger, 20, has only TWICE boxed before, in winning exhibition bouts against unknown pair Anas Elshayib and Ajmal Khan.
Whereas Mayweather, 44, is the self-proclaimed ‘Best Ever’ who retired at a record breaking 50-0.
Even approaching four years retired as a professional, not many would be able to get near the masterful boxer, especially not a novice like Belhasa.
But, the bout is a showcase of entertainment, opposed to sporting competition, as Mayweather stressed when he made his comeback announcement.
He said: “I don’t like to call what I’m doing a fight. I like to call it a limited edition boxing showcase. Because it’s bigger than just boxing.”

Mayweather officially retired in 2017 after beating UFC superstar Conor McGregor, 33, in a lucrative crossover bout.
But he has returned twice, both in exhibitions, starting with a one round demolition job over featherweight kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa, 23.
More recently, in June he was taken the distance over eight rounds by Paul, 26, who technically avoided defeat after no knockout was scored.
Before and after the spectacle bout, Mayweather boasted of earning $100millon (£72m) for the ‘legalised bank robbery’.
And that added to the massive $1.2BILLION (£875m) he claimed he was worth in a 2021 interview on Millon Dollaz Worth of Game podcast.
Mayweather said: “I’ve made a billion. I’ve reached that four years ago. [Now I’m] over $1.2billion.”
If Belhasa offers little in comparison to Mayweather’s boxing skills, wealth is one thing he can compete in.

His construction mogul dad Saif Ahmed Belhasa is one of the richest businessmen in Dubai, with a reported $2.1 bn (£1.5bn) net worth.
Belhasa Jr’s exact net worth is not known, but has widely been reported as $4m (£2.9m).
As a result, despite the monumental skill and experience disparity, the money clearly makes sense for Mayweather to fight him.
The retired icon and boxing promoter has since stated he is planning on bringing several events to Dubai.
Mayweather revealed: “One fight? We may do more than one fight.
“We want to give the people some entertainment. So yes, it will be more than one fight.”

Whereas Chisora was recently beaten by Joseph Parker in their thrilling rematch in December.
Promoter Eddie Hearn then teased the British veteran as a comeback opponent for Wilder.
And Chisora admitted Wilder is one of many heavyweight stars he wants to tick off the list before retirement.
He said on talkSPORT: “I think we’ve both come out of two losses, back-to-back.
“I think why not? People are saying, ‘Why does he want to do that for?’ They’re not me. People are not built like me.
“The thing is, I will be honest with you, I want to fight everybody. When I hang it up I can say I fought everybody in my era and enjoyed it.

Asked if he could beat Wilder, Chisora said: “I don’t know, but yes I want to go for it 100 per cent. Yes, I will beat him.”
Wilder, 36, was knocked out in round 11 by Fury, 33, in October, 20 months after losing their rematch in round seven.
He has been left contemplating retirement or another run back at the heavyweight throne.
For Chisora, 37, has has been beaten consecutively by Parker, 29, and current unified champion Oleksandr Usyk, 34, before that.

But the popular puncher has refused to consider hanging up the gloves, despite his losing form.
And he admitted the fanfare he enjoys during the twilight of his career means more to him than any world title belt.
Chisora said: “I always say this, my world title for me is people recognising me on the streets. That’s my world title – that’s all I love.
“I worked hard to get to the top. I used to box in York Hall in East London. Now 20,000 people watching me, I don’t want to give that easy.
“I don’t really care about the title which comes with it.
“Your taxi man, bin man, general cleaner, as long as I walk in there and they recognise me and say, ‘That was a great fight’, that’s my world title.”

Sanchez spars regularly with Canelo who, he says, more than holds his own.
Because of the enormous physical disparity between Alvarez and the Gypsy King, it would be like matching Tom Thumb with Goliath.

Canelo at 5ft 9in is a foot shorter than Fury, he would be outreached by 14 inches and outweighed by at least seven stone.
History has a habit of repeating itself though, so it should be remembered it wouldn’t be the first time a world middleweight champion has tackled the heavyweight king.
In 1909, Stanley Ketchel, the Michigan Assassin — who was exactly the same height as Alvarez — faced the legendary Jack Johnson in California.
Ketchel and Johnson were hell-raising buddies who often visited gambling joints and brothels together.
There has always been a strong suspicion Johnson had given his word to go easy on the little guy.
As the pair were on a percentage of the fight film takings, they agreed it should last the full 20 rounds to ensure bumper cinema audiences.
Everything was going beautifully to plan until the 12th round when Ketchel forgot the script.

He swung a roundhouse right that crashed flush on Johnson’s chin and sent him sprawling.
Johnson, who was far more humiliated than hurt, was furious as he got to his feet.
His promise not to hurt Ketchel disappeared in a red mist and he hit his opponent with a right uppercut with such force it not only laid him out unconscious but knocked out all Stanley’s front teeth.
Johnson was seen on the film carefully picking out four of the teeth, which had been embedded in his glove.
A year later Ketchel’s life came to a tragic end. While having breakfast at a friend’s Missouri ranch he was shot in the back and killed by a man he had accused of ill-treating horses. He was just 24.
There’s not the slightest chance a clash between Alvarez and Fury will happen.
At least that means Canelo will never have to worry about spending a small fortune on dentistry.
