      And the jacked 39-year-old has lost a staggering FOUR STONE of muscle to improve his fitness for the grudge match by cutting his caloric intake down to 4500 calories.
      He told Muscle and Health: “I was on 7,000- 8,000 calories a day. I brought them down to around 5,000 and then gradually cut back even further.
      “I’m on around 4,500 now. I’ve lost about four stone in six months.”
      Before he started restricting calories, Ford simply ate to enjoy his food and maintain his 22-stone frame.
      He told The Mirror: “You know what for six months I haven’t been measuring my calories.
      “I have just been eating to my appetite and when I am hungry. The one drastic change I have made is my balance of food.

      “When I was doing a lot of weight lifting it was predominantly fats and proteins.
      “Whereas now it is a good 60-70 per cent carbs and it is the complete flip over.
      “My food is absolutely on point, I am eating the best that I can and I have no doubt that I will bring something special because of that.”
      Six-foot nine giant Ford is relishing his showdown with the Iranian Hulk – real name Sajad Gharibi – and plans to ‘rip his head off’.
      He told SunSport: “God knows how, but this ‘Hulk’ guy has been popping up left, right, and centre for two years.
      “He’s not an athlete by any stretch of the imagination. I refused to be fooled by his propositions, so initially, I just ignored him, but then things started getting a bit heated.
      “At that point, for me, it was like, ‘Well, I’m not a mug, are you going to speak about my kids like this? I’m f***ing game for a scrap’.
      “He’s jumped himself into a pool that is too deep for him and I’m ready to rip his head off.”
      He added: “It’s kind of an embarrassing fight in the sense that he’s not an athlete.
      “But I took the fight when things started getting heated over inbox messages. It’s 100% personal. There’s nothing fun about this. There’s no publicity stunt from my end.

      “I genuinely want to smash his face in. I would happily do it in the gym behind closed doors.
      “I do want to fight professionally in the future, but this fight for me is a walk in the park. It’s not a challenge for me by any stretch of the imagination.
      “If I really wanted to end it fast, I could knock him out in twenty seconds. But I think I’ll give him one round and twenty seconds.”

      Here, SunSport takes a look back and Khan’s journey from Olympic hopeful to fully-fledged superstar.
      Olympic Games, 2004
      Khan was Team GB’s only boxing representative in Greece and the nation’s hopes rested solely on his shoulders.
      But he did the unthinkable and reached the lightweight final, losing to Cuban champ Mario Kindelan.
      Khan would avenge the loss a year later, in an unprecedented televised amateur rematch which was viewed by SIX MILLION on ITV.
      He turned professional soon after and was already a star in the making.

      Lightweight
      Khan turned professional at the 135lb lightweight limit (9st 9lb) and quickly rose through the ranks.
      He was on course for world title honours until a shock 2008 loss to unknown Colombian Breidis Prescott.
      Prescott scored a stunning knockout in the first round and kickstarted the question marks surrounding Khan’s chin.
      Khan did return with two more wins at lightweight, but then moved up to light-welterweight.

      Light-welterweight
      His first fight at the 140lb (10st) division was a world title shot against Ukrainian Andreas Kotelnik for the WBA title.
      It proved one of Khan’s greatest ever performances, showing dazzling speed to win the belt on points.
      Khan would go on to have eight more fights at the weight, unifying the titles with a win over American legend Zab Judah.
      But defeats to Lamont Peterson – who failed a post-fight drug test – and Danny Garcia – by brutal KO – saw Khan move up in weight soon after.

      Welterweight
      Chasing super-fights with boxing icons Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao, Khan stepped up to 147lb (10st 7lb).
      But he failed in those pursuits, despite sharing the ring with the likes of Luis Collazo, Devon Alexander and Chris Algieri.
      Khan’s only loss at the weight came in 2019 against current WBO champ Terence Crawford.
      Despite years of talk, Khan was also unable to agree terms with long-time rival Kell Brook, despite the pair sharing the same weight class.

      Middleweight
      Khan in 2016 stunned the boxing public when he signed to fight Mexican powerhouse Canelo Alvarez for the WBC middleweight title.
      The fight was actually contested at a 155lb (11st) catchweight, just 1lb under the light-middleweight limit.
      Nevertheless, Canelo’s size and power proved too decisive and Khan was savagely knocked out in round five with a massive right hand.
      Khan claimed Alvarez rehydrated to 13st 3lb the day after their weigh in, while he only entered the ring at 11st 2lb, marking a massive size difference.

      Kell Brook catchweight
      With the rivals entering the twilight of their careers, they finally agreed terms to fight.
      But it came at a cost for Brook, who has always struggled to make the welterweight limit.
      Khan suggested a catchweight of 149lb (10st 6lb) which is only 2lb above the welterweight mark.
      And for every lb either fighter potentially misses weight by, a contracted penalty of £100,000 will be in place.

      “Why wouldn’t he sign? He’s getting a massive purse, it makes no sense for him not to sign.
      “From the day of the purse bid, there were 21 days to lodge the contract, regardless of what Eddie Hearn says.

      But veteran US matchmaker Arum accused Whyte of wanting MORE money to flog the box office fight or he will remain tightlipped.

      Arum said on Queensberry Promotions’ YouTube channel: “He’s trying to get more money. Simple as that. He’s trying to hold us up.
      “One thing when you win a purse bid, it says that the fighters will help in ways to promote.
      “Well that’s sort of ambiguous. And most fighters, because they’re professional they will promote.
      “Now he’s saying, ‘I want extra money to promote, because you’re stuck paying me what the purse bids said which is $7.3m and I want some more money from you to go out there and promote’.
      “And our position is, well we’re not going to give it to you. Now, if the fight does enormously well, yeah we’ll give you a taste at the backend where everybody’s made money.
      “But we’re not going to be put in a position where you’re threatening us, to not participate in the promotion. If he doesn’t, he’s a damn fool.
      “Because again, there’s always tomorrow and even if he loses the fight, which he figures to do, by participating in the promotion he builds his own image and his own career.
      “And secondly and even more important, he really needs the exposure from this big fight and his threat is, that he’s not going to avail himself to that exposure.”

      And their feuding could rule out a future partnership for Fury, 33, to fight Ngannou, 35.
      White said at the UFC 271 press conference: “I’m not doing jack s*** with Bob Arum.
      “The other two guys I like, I like Al Haymon a lot and I like Eddie Hearn very much.”
      Mysterious American boxing mogul Haymon and White worked together in 2017, when Conor McGregor, 33, lost to Floyd Mayweather, 44.
      And White has long been praised by British promoter Hearn, whose boxers have used the UFC’s Performance Institute in Las Vegas before.
      But Arum’s feud with the UFC boss, which dates back to the veteran matchmaker slating MMA in its early days, shows no signs of being resolved.

      UFC heavyweight champion Ngannou has publicly called to fight Fury but his current contract prohibits a crossover to the ring.
      Only Irish superstar McGregor was given permission to make the move to boxing for his ten round loss to Mayweather.
      But no other fighter has received the same treatment, leaving Ngannou to consider his future.
      The Cameroonian has no fights left on his UFC deal but as champion, he is still contracted to the promotion for the next 12 months.
      But if he refuses an extension, once the period is up, he will be free to cross over to boxing, where unbeaten WBC champ Fury will wait.
      FURY VS NGANNOU ‘NEXT YEAR’
      The Gypsy King has plans to fight mandatory challenger Dillian Whyte, 33, next and then the winner between Oleksandr Usyk, 35, and Anthony Joshua, 32.
      But Fury has already mapped out a plan to welcome Ngannou to the ring in 2023, predicting a record-breaking pay-per-view blockbuster.
      He told iFL TV: “I am going to fight Francis Ngannou in Las Vegas next year – in March or February.
      “There’s been no talks this year because I have got some boxing to do. But next year we can have some crazy fights. It’s a massive fight.
      “I believe it breaks all pay-per-view records in the United States. Two heavyweight champions going head to head.”

      Brook was on cloud nine after completing a lifetime’s work, so much so he didn’t want to risk losing that euphoric feeling by getting his 40 winks.
      He told The BBC: “I think I’d have to say [the highlight would be] winning the world title.
      “Obviously, going to Carson, California, into America – his back garden – and winning the world title.
      “I didn’t sleep for three days because I was scared that if I went to sleep I would wake up and it would be a dream. I swear I was walking on air.”
      The ecstasy he felt seconds after it was announced he’d dethroned Porter behind enemy lines is a moment Special K will never forget.

      Tyson is a known advocate of weed, with the former world champion previously declaring he smokes £33,000 of the drug every month.
      That is in addition to owning a huge weed farm in California which is believed to earn around £500,000-per-month.
      And he has now teamed up with Columbia Care Inc, which owns the Green Solution dispensary chain in Colorado.
      To celebrate his new project in the Centennial State, the Baddest Man on the Planet took to Instagram to show off his massive bags.
      With multiple bags in the picture, Tyson captioned the photo: “Had a great time in Denver with the @itstyson20 team. This is a weeks worth.”
      At the time of writing, the snap has over 600,000 likes.
