BoxingScene claims Canelo will return to DAZN on a lucrative new contract for two mega fights.
The four-division champion is taking on WBA light heavyweight king Dmitry Bivol on May 7.
And Canelo is then ready to close the chapter on his saga with Golovkin by facing the ace for a third time on September 17.
The pair drew their first fight in 2017 before Canelo won the second a year later.
And it’s reckoned they could collide at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
While Canelo takes on Bivol, Golovkin is determined to face Ryota Murata in a middleweight unification fight.

Should both men come through unscathed, they will play out their trilogy in a super middleweight championship bout.
It’s reckoned Canelo’s new deal could see him pocket as much as $100million from the two fights.
The fights will be promoted by Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing, with Canelo having received propositions from Al Haymon’s Premier Boxing Champions and Showtime.
They wanted Canelo to fight undefeated WBC middleweight champ Jermall Charlo, which could have fetched up to $50m depending on pay-per-view figures.
And Canelo had also discussed a September bout against ex-WBC super middleweight king David Benavidez.
The Mexican returns to DAZN after going to PBC and Showtime for his last fight, a win against former IBF middleweight champion Caleb Plant.
That alone took in 800,000 buys on PPV.
And DAZN is expected to also go for a PPV format for Canelo’s two upcoming fights. More

The two giants will clash in Dubai on March 19 to settle their long-running feud
And incredibly, SIX out of eight behemoths told Muscle And Health they believe Hall, 34, will get the better of his opponent, 33.
The majority of the gargantuan group reckon ‘The Beast’ will have just too much raw power for ‘The Mountain’.
But others feel Bjornsson’s past experience in the ring will work wonders.
However, all eight agree that both men are sure to put on a fitting spectacle nearly two years after the fight was announced.
Adam Bishop, Britain’s Strongest Man 2020, said: “My money would be on Eddie. While Thor has the reach and looks like a technical boxer, I think this fight is going to turn into a proper old suit up.
“Having known Eddie for a long time, I can attest for how stubborn and focused he is when he puts his mind to something. He goes all in. He’ll be well prepared and gunning for this fight.”

JF Caron, 9x Canada’s Strongest Man, boomed: “My money is on Eddie because he’s a fighter in his mind. Thor is afraid.”
Jerry Pritchett, 2017 America’s Strongest Man, declared: “I’m with Eddie all the way! I believe he’s kept more size and strength alongside his boxing training, which will pay off. I think Eddie is just meaner and more aggressive.”
Travis Ortmayer, Strongman competitor and coach, noted: “In the beginning, I would’ve said Eddie straight away, but he has given Thor so much time to get better that it’s pretty open. Thor’s starting to look pretty dangerous.
“If Thor can withstand the early barrage of heaving hitting for Eddie, I think he’ll will. But I don’t know if he’s quite there yet and Eddie’s cardio is pretty strong. I think Eddie is going to take this.”

Ervin Toots, World’s Strongest Man competitor, revealed: “Both guys are legends, but since I’ve competed in boxing myself, I see Eddie has a bit more of this sport in him, and if Thor can’t or won’t use his reach as an advantage, then Eddie will win.”
And Martyn Ford, Hollywood actor-turned-boxer, added: “My money is on Eddie. Thor is just so slow and awkward, he has no snap or explosiveness. Technically yes, Thor has improved, but even if he hits Eddie, he doesn’t seem to have any power to cause much concern.”
As for Bjornsson’s backers, Kelvin De Ruiter, World Champion Truck Puller, said: “In the beginning, I thought Eddie would win, but Thor has lost a lot of weight and done competitions, so he has more experience. For those reasons, I think Thor will win.”
Oleg Sylka, Multiple Strongman Champ, added: “I think Thor will win, because he has already had several fights in the ring and has experience.”

“Dillian Whyte has called for this fight for years, and while he is a deserving challenger, no heavyweight can match The Gypsy King.
“This is going to be a momentous night of boxing with tens of thousands of fans in attendance at Wembley Stadium.”
Whyte left it until the very last minute to agree to the WBC world title clash, angering 33-year-old Fury for the last few weeks.
The Brixton brawler is not happy with his 20 per cent cut of the purse, with the Gypsy King raking in the other 80 per cent share.
But he has agreed to his shot at the big time and the chance to hand Fury his first ever defeat.
Victory on the BT Sport show will land 34-year-old Whyte £9million and the WBC heavyweight title.
He is guaranteed £6m for turning up to face 6ft 9in champ Fury. More

But Mayweather remains in good spirits and celebrated with an incredible party.
The American received a breathtaking birthday cake at the bash – held at The Gabriel hotel in Miami – which was carried over to him by bikini-clad women.
The cake itself showed off the billionaire businessman’s empire with a number of skyscrapers next to each other.
And they were topped with big sparklers as Mayweather looked on in awe.
Mayweather had already celebrated his 45th birthday once as he got involved in karaoke with guests Kanye West and NFL bad boy Antonio Brown.
Mayweather, West and Brown were captured singing along with each other at that bash on February 23.

The 50-0 star has not boxed professionally since he beat MMA fighter Conor McGregor in 2017.
He was due to return to the ring in an exhibition bout in Dubai on February 20.
But talks to face YouTuber Money Kicks – real name Rashed Belhasa – collapsed with Mayweather’s comeback uncertain.
Last June he was taken the distance by YouTube star Logan Paul, 26, who weighed TWO STONE more to make up for the farcical skill disparity.
In December, Mayweather held a press conference to say he would fight on top of the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah hotel HELIPAD.
But so far, no news on a return fight or opponent has emerged. More

‘I better be able to hit Jack better’ – Josh Taylor hopes his boxing is better than his golf when he fights Catterall

JOSH TAYLOR has the ruthless drive to putt Jack Catterall in his place.Scotland’s undisputed super-lightweight king defends all four of his 10st crowns against Manchester’s mandatory challenger in Glasgow on Saturday.

The 31-year-old Prestonpans ace does it with the scars of a terrifying childhood golfing accident – that almost killed him- along his face.
But if 28-year-old Catterall needs any more warning of his foe’s total fearlessness, it might be him returning to the greens and fairways ahead of their all-British battle.
“My return to golf was good,” he said. “I wasn’t very good at it though, I better be able to hit Jack better than I could the ball!
“After so long not playing I knew it would take some getting used to again but I never thought I would be that bad. It was very frustrating.
“I started well on the first few holes but it must have been down to luck because it all went downhill drastically after that.
“I used to play all the time, a lot of my friends play a lot and there are lots of lovely golf courses in my area but it’s nice to have a hobby away from fighting, it’s a nice change of pace to the adrenaline of boxing.

“Golf is a nice wee walk, a catch-up with my pals and a good way to relax.”
But Catterall better be careful if he thinks Taylor’s new tranquillity will stop him teeing off on his head.
“Nobody likes being around me when I shank one,” he laughed. “I have been guilty of smashing the clubs up and throwing them away a few times.”
In just 18 almost-faultless fights, Taylor has all four major belts as well as the Ring Magazine strap.
The combined record of his last five opponents reads a ridiculous 107-0 but he has beaten the tired boxing cliche of becoming a Champagne Charlie after such early success.

“That will never be me,” he said. “I am a lightweight at the best of times, I get two pints in and I love everybody in the world and all that rubbish.
“And now when I have a nice glass of red wine I am p***** after a couple and just head for bed.
“I’ll never get too big time, I have done it the hard way.
“First and absolutely foremost my missus would not let me change and my pals would always help bring me back down to earth, they will happily tell me when I become a d***head.” More

Amir Khan feels he ‘underestimated’ rival Kell Brook and could have been ‘jet lagged’ in fight amid rematch rumours

AMIR KHAN felt he ‘underestimated’ Kell Brook and could have been ‘jet lagged’ in their grudge match, promoter Ben Shalom said. It comes following the news the 2004 Olympian has three weeks to decide whether he will invoke his right to an immediate rematch with Brook.

Shalom, whose Boxxer stable is partnered with Sky Sports, revealed there has been rumblings out of Khan’s camp that his preparations have led to regret.
And with a rematch clause included in the initial contract, a second fight between the 35-year-old ex-world champions remains possible.
Shalom told SunSport: “One curveball is that Amir Khan does have a rematch clause in his contract.
“A lot of people are not expecting him to activate that – us included – but at the same time, I’ve heard a lot, around the camp, the jet lag.
“Also perhaps him not taking Kell as seriously as he should have, a few memers coming out of their camp.
“They’ve got at least two or three weeks to activate that rematch clause.”

Brook, 35, claimed Khan’s biggest mistake was giving him half a year to prepare for the biggest fight of his career and get in top shape.
Meanwhile Khan, 35, only flew out to America in November to start his training camp under new coach Brian ‘Bomac’ McIntyre.
And he then returned home just over a week before judgement day at the Manchester Arena.
Shalom has refused to rule out a rematch but insisted the decision is solely down to Khan, whose pride has been dented after the crushing loss.
The 28-year-old promoter said: “It’s in his hands, it’s not in my hands, if he wants the rematch, he’s got the rematch.
“His pride is obviously extremely hurt and he feels like he didn’t give a good account of himself.
“Perhaps jet lagged, he only had a ten-week camp while Kell was training for six months.
It’s in his hands, it’s not in my hands, if he wants the rematch, he’s got the rematch. Ben Shalom on Amir Khan’s rematch clause with Kell Brook
“But I don’t know, he took a lot of punishment but never went down. I don’t know, it’s not in my hands, that’s the thing here.
“Amir’s going to have to make a decision and I don’t know what he’s going to do.”
Khan hinted at retirement following his bitter defeat, which would bring the end to a celebrated and historic career.
But for now, before his fighting future is decided, Khan will take a deserved break in Dubai, where he has a holiday home with wife Faryal.
Shalom added: “I spoke to him and Faryal more. Obviously, he’s gutted.
“His pride’s hurt, he’s upset, it’s not a great experience for him, it meant a lot to him this fight.
“That’s the big thing, his legacy on the biggest platform on the biggest stage in front of his home fans, he doesn’t feel like he performed how he should.
“He feels he underestimated Kell. But he’ll be fine. He’s gone to Dubai, he’s having some time out now and hopeful, he will recover.”

“If I wasn’t sure I was going to win, I wouldn’t be here, I’ve been training since I was 13 so I’m ready to get the WBO title.” More
