      ANTHONY JOSHUA lost the defence of his unified world titles to master boxer Oleksandr Usyk last September – but now AJ wants revenge. Just like the Olympic gold medallist did after his loss to Andy Ruiz Jr in 2019, Joshua wants to right his wrong by facing the Ukrainian in a rematch.

      Usyk outpointed and largely outclassed a game Joshua in front of 70,000 fans at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last year to win the WBA, WBO, IBF & IBO world titles.
      Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn admitted after that his client boxed nowhere near to the ability he would do in a potential rematch.
      AJ, meanwhile, said the fight was a learning experience in the post-fight news conference, vowing to gain his vengeance on Usyk.
      Since then, the two sides have been negotiating toward a huge money-spinning sequel, but offers for Joshua to step aside to allow an undisputed clash with Tyson Fury has delayed the process.
      Fury, however, will fight mandatory challenger Dillian Whyte next, leaving Usyk and Joshua to fight once again.
      Joshua is also on the search for a new trainer, having trialled American coaches Robert Garcia, Virgil Hunter, Ronnie Shields and Canelo Alvarez’s trainer Eddy Reynoso.
      “I need to go and get some new teachings from guys that have trained – Robert Garcia trained 13, 14 world champions,” Joshua told iFL TV.
      “They’ve got so many generations of teachings. Virgil Hunter trained Andre Ward, a phenomenal fighter.

      When is Joshua vs Usyk 2?

      Joshua vs Usyk 2 has yet to be confirmed with a concrete date.
      Promoter Hearn has previously touted March or April as potential months the rematch could take place.
      But Joshua has yet to start camp with a new trainer and it’s more likely a fight with Usyk takes place in May or June.
      That would also open up the opportunity for Joshua vs Usyk 2 to take place in an outdoor stadium in the UK.

      What channel is it and can it be live streamed?

      Joshua’s last fight with Usyk with shown live on Sky Sports Box Office for a price of £24.95.
      It’s unclear which channel the rematch will take place on, but expect Matchroom’s broadcast partners DAZN to bid aggressively for the rights to the fight in the UK.
      DAZN costs £7.99 to subscribe to in the UK, but the streaming service are likely to add a pay-per-view arm to their model this year.

      Where will Joshua vs Usyk 2 take place?
      Hearn has previously claimed the fight will be held in another open-air UK stadium.
      “It’s very likely to happen in the UK, but we’ll sit down and look at the options,” he said after the fight.
      “There will be approaches to do it elsewhere. (But) after Saturday, the pluses and minuses of Saturday, I mean, have you ever seen anything like that? How good was it? Have you ever seen anything like that?
      “So I’d like to do it in England again. Maybe at Spurs, maybe at Wembley, maybe at the Emirates. They’ll be approaches to do it elsewhere but I don’t see any reason to take it outside of England.”
      There are also likely to be approached from the Middle East for the fight, with Saudi Arabia having held Joshua’s clash against Andy Ruiz Jr in 2019.
      Usyk said in the post-fight news conference he was eager for the second fight to be held in the Olympic Stadium in Kiev, Ukraine.

      Talks broke down – with both sides offering up very different versions of events – allowing welterweight Brook to leap up and bank millions with a brave loss.
      And 32-year-old Jr – who thoroughly outpointed Liam Williams on Saturday – has kept up the grudge, meaning Brook is high on his hit-list while he waits for his mandatory shot at the WBA title.
      But that means he will need the 35-year-old Sheffield veteran – a close ally of his other nemesis Billy Joe Saunders – to triumph in his retirement battle with Khan, 35, on February 19.
      “Me and Kell have never been cool,” Eubank Jr told SunSport when asked why that fight appeals. “He is the reason I never fought Golovkin and I have always held that against him. I don’t like the guy.
      “On top of that he is best friends with my worst enemy in Billy Joe Saunders, so he is an enemy of mine.
      “I actually just don’t like him as a person, the things he says and does and conducts himself as a person, he annoys me, he is annoying to listen to and be around.

      Moments after the unanimous Cardiff win, welterweight Conor Benn, 25, teased a catchweight clash between the two and confirmed his genuine interest on Wednesday.
      But – while Nigel’s 20-0 son fancies a bout at the 11st super-welter middleground – Eubank insists he will not risk his world title bid by boiling down below his regular 11st 6lbs limit and Benn would have to leap up a stone.

      Saunders, who beat Eubank on points in 2014, also reacted to his old rival’s weekend win by demanding £5million to come back from his May Canelo loss for a bitter grudge rematch.
      The Brighton ace could have dismissed the trash-talking 32-year-old’s comeback offer but he reckons it’s a fair price as long as he banks even more.

      “I am the A-side so, whatever he gets, I will be getting more,” Eubank Jr said.
      “But it is a pay-per-view fight, a Wembley stadium fight, so £5m for him is a realistic number because of how much money it would generate.”
      It turns out being British boxing’s most hated man is a very lucrative business that Eubank Jr is happy to cash-in on.
      “The amazing thing about the position I am in is that there are lots of great fights that are not even world title fights,” he said.
      “Kell Brook says he wants to punch my head in, Conor Benn says he wants to beat me up and Saunders wants £5m to fight me.
      “They are not world title fights but they are probably bigger than the world title fights that are out there.
      “So we are going to get lots of sexy fights very soon, for sure.”

      And Money Kicks – real name Rashed Belhasa – was in talks to be Mayweather’s comeback opponent.
      No official announcement between the pair was ever confirmed and with only a week to go, it appears the fight is canned.
      Adding fuel to the speculation, Belhasa is now in talks to instead face British gamer Jarvis Khattri, according to The Mirror.
      Celebrity boxing promotion Showstar are holding an event in London on March 5, which could see Money Kicks feature.
      For Mayweather, 44, his head coach Gerald Tucker hinted in an interview with Boxing Social that his return was facing a delay.
      Tucker said: “He already has an exhibition set up. We’re supposed to go to Dubai in two weeks.

      Paul, 25, has caused quite the stir over the last 14 months with his repeated social media attacks on UFC bigwig Dana White and MMA superstar Conor McGregor.
      And the former Disney star has revelled in the reactions his antics have managed to draw from MMA fighters and boxers alike.
      During an appearance on Eddie Hearn’s No Passion, No Point podcast, Paul said: “It’s a little bit of both but it starts with a genuine dislike.
      “I told my team like I will never attack somebody unless it feels genuine, I will never really start something. All of the people that I attack 90 per cent of the people is in response.
      “I’m not out there trying to create feuds, but I am definitely a troll naturally and I giggle when I post this stuff I find it hilarious.”

      He continued: “I am definitely a disruptor, I think that is what my main talent is by shaking the tree.
      “Boxing is like taxis and I am coming in with the Uber app.
      “I am trying to come in and put the taxi’s out of business and change the way boxing is done.”
      The divisive Paul hasn’t set foot inside the ring since his viral KO of former UFC champ Tyron Woodley last December.

      But Paul was half expecting his boxing rival to gate crash his media obligations – and admitted it was chance wasted.
      He told reporters: “I thought it would be smart of him to do that. But, obviously he’s not about that life.”
      The celebrity fighters have continued to feud since the collapse of their December grudge match.
      Fury, 22, withdrew from the pay-per-view bout after sustaining a broken rib and chest infection while training.

      But Bisping believes it was all a ruse to make it seem as though the American really wanted to fight while creating hype.
      And he reckons Paul’s latest callout of ex-unbeaten UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, 32, is another example of this.
      Bisping, 42, said on his podcast: “Now he’s calling out Khabib. He did the same thing with me.
      “He actually made an official offer and I took the bait and I started talking about it.
      “What does that do? It just says to everybody, ‘ Jake Paul is looking for real fights’ but there was never a contract that came through.

      In a direct Instagram message to Eubank Jr, a fan wrote: “Chris, I’ve just unloaded my life savings onto you to win by stoppage, don’t let me down.”
      The boxer himself revealed the claim and captioned it: “Now that’s some belief right there.”
      The punter was well on his way to celebrating the mother of all gambles as Williams, 29, was floored FOUR times.
      But he would have been left gutted and gobsmacked after Eubank Jr elected to take his foot off the gas and showboat his way to a win on the scorecards.
      Eubank Jr, 32, claimed a hand injury prevented him from pushing for the knockout, but is in touch to make it up to the fan.

      ANTHONY JOSHUA is set to rematch Oleksandr Usyk in May in the UK as Eddie Hearn confirmed US and Middle East deals were snubbed. AJ surrendered the unified WBA, IBF and WBO belts to Usyk in September but later exercised his right to an immediate rematch.

      With Joshua’s career potentially on the line it has sparked mass intrigue in the must-win rerun, with a host of suitors looking to host.
      But promoter Hearn revealed AJ is set to regain home advantage and will have the full backing of the British fans against Usyk.
      He said on the 5 Live Boxing podcast: “It’s clear AJ will be fighting Usyk, which is his preferred choice. May is when you’ll see that fight.
      “There’s the UK, America, the Middle East – we’ve had offers all around the world for that fight. I’d like to do it in the UK and we’ll see.”
      Joshua, 32, made his US debut in June 2019 but was stunned by outsider Andy Ruiz Jr, 32, in New York, losing in seven rounds following four knockdowns.
      In the rematch six months later, the pair went to Saudi Arabia, where AJ would regain the belts and exact revenge.
