ADAM ‘THE ASSASSIN’ AZIM reached 3-0 with his latest seek-and-destroy mission on hero Amir Khan’s undercard.The 19-year-old Slough prospect scorched respected journeyman Jordan Ellison with a left hook KO in round three and celebrated with his trademark backflip.

The red-hot ace – also now nicknamed AAA – got away with lawful battery in the opening round when he dropped Ellison with an absolute peach.
The right hook landed perfectly under Ellison’s left elbow and robbed him of all of his oxygen so he showed great guts rising and fighting on.
Azim – trained by red-hot coach Shan McGuigan – landed the same sickening shot in the second but Ellison somehow stayed upright.

The lightweight was landing punishing shots to head and body and reddening Ellison’s vulnerable skin with almost every dig.
Every time Ellison was bold enough to throw a shot of his own he was bludgeoned with a rapid counter.
And then a sizzling left hook to the skull completed the hat-trick of eye-catching wins with brave Ellison needing medical attention before recovering fully.

Riley, who has also released rap songs on the back of his YouTuber training exploits, made a dream start to his British bow and never let his rival off the hook.
The scoring referee called the one-sided six-round shutout: 60-53.
He said: “It feels so good to finally fight in the UK so I want to thank everyone for making it happen.
“I did get close to stopping him but he is a tough man.
“I have also been out of the ring, through injuries and covid, for two years so it was nice to box all six rounds.
“I just want to get really busy now.”

After two minutes of jabbing and probing at the veteran, Riley detonated a perfect right uppercut that flattened Shihepo.
The multi-talented ace produced a lovely pull-and-counter that sunk the Namibian to the canvas for a count of eight.
The Black Mamba got back to his feet and battled on by Riley was into his groove and connecting at will.
The Manchester crowd was ‘ooh and aahing’ in the second when Riley was unloading rasping combinations into his body and guard.
Shihepo was almost tumbling again when a right hook from Riley found his vulnerable whiskers.
In the third Riley almost gave star student KSI the KO win he had requested.
But battle-worn Shihepo wanted to earn every penny of his purse and refused to duck out, despite taking a beating.

The novelty of watching Shihepo get tagged wore off by the fifth but Riley did not get sloppy his search for a stoppage.
But when Riley’s corner urged him to let his hands go he did step on the gas and punish his opponent, leaving blood oozing from his nose and mouth.
The tough African did hear the final bell, though, shipping abuse until the final blow of the battle.

Welterweight prospect Benn had initially tipped Brook to be victorious in the Battle of Britain but is now backing Khan to get a late stoppage victory.
The Destroyer said: “Yes, people. We’re on our way to Brook-Khan.
“I was leaning towards Brook earlier on during the week and now I’m leaning towards Khan.
“I reckon Khan could stop Brook between rounds seven to twelve with a body shot.
“I’m hoping Brook wins, but my head is saying Khan.”
After years of trash talk, former unified light-welterweight champ Khan is relishing the opportunity to shut Brook up once and for all.

But the Bolton bruiser is concerned about how his bitter rival will handle the loss.

“I’ve been living in his head, I think it’s at the stage where he’s gonna need to start paying me some rent.

“I think it’s more jealousy than anything.”
He added: I’m gonna go for the kill, but I’m experienced enough at this age to not make mistakes and go off the game plan.

Darnell’s diligent manager came up with the goods, but there was an 18-stone catch that came with it.
He told iFL TV: “I was at the [Amir Khan vs Kell Brook] public workout on Wednesday, asked my manager, ‘Can you get a ticket?’
“Got a call Thursday, ‘I’ve got you a ticket, but you’ve gotta fight Frazer.’”
Many would’ve hesitated to take on Tokyo 2020 bronze medallist Clarke on short notice, but not Darnell.
He continued: “I’m like, ‘Let’s go and have it.’”
He later added: I work with kids in care. I took one of the kids down, he’s just started boxing himself.

“He wanted to go and watch them, see all the famous boxers.

Darnell has been tasked with the job of welcoming Burton bruiser Clarke to the professional ranks.
And he’s under no illusions of the size of the job on his hands.
He said: “It’s a big ask, everyone knows it’s a big ask, but why would you say no?
“It’s the opportunity of a lifetime.
