And after Brook dominated Khan in six rounds to ensure bragging rights for life, he unknowingly set up another domestic dust-up.
Eubank Jr, 32, told Sky Sports: “”He’s proven tonight that he still has the spice.
“Now I wanna see how spicy he can get with me because I’m not Amir Khan.
“We have history, he’s the reason I didn’t fight Gennady Golovkin and I’ve never forgiven him for that.”
Their feud dates back to 2016, when Eubank Jr saw talks to fight middleweight king Gennady Golovkin collapse.
Brook would jump two divisions to face GGG – losing in five rounds and suffering a fractured eye socket in the process.

Eubank Jr mocked the loss for years and Brook has not forgotten it, opening the door to a fight in the near future.
He said: “I’ve got three daughters, and they need these millions.”
For Khan, he has been left considering retirement after the brutal loss.
He admitted: “I need to sit down with my family, but it is more towards the end of my career.
“The love of the sport isn’t there any more. That is a sign for me that I should maybe be calling it a day.”

KELL BROOK dominated Amir Khan to make their long-awaited grudge match one-sided – with the punch stats to prove it. Brook bashed Khan all around the ring over six rounds, the referee finally stopping the action in round six inside the Manchester Arena.

Overall, according to CompuBox, he threw 224 shots in total, landing with 79 to finish the fight with a 35 per cent success rate.
For Khan, he threw 151, with 34 connecting to end the fight with 23 per cent accuracy.
In the end, it was Brook’s sheer pressure and punch power that finally earned him bragging right over his great rival.
He said after the win: “I knew it was going to happen. It was just a matter of time before I was getting him out of there.
“Those are the fights I wanted to be involved in when I walked into a gym as a kid.
“War of the Roses. King of the North. I knew from 18 years old I was a better fighter than him.
“He had the push and the promoters behind him because he won an Olympic medal.”

Khan, who was wobbled from the start of round one but battled till the last bell, hinted are retirement.
He said: “I need to sit down with my family, but it is more towards the end of my career.
“The love of the sport isn’t there any more. That is a sign for me that I should maybe be calling it a day.”
Khan added: “I’m very upset. I just couldn’t get it going. I have fallen a little bit short. Obviously he was the best man today.
“I was catching Kell with some good shots, but I’m not blaming anyone. I had a great training camp but couldn’t get going.
“I was falling short and missing a lot. Kell was on his A-game today.”

KELL BROOK can finally claim bragging rights on bitter rival Amir Khan – after a dominating their grudge match ten years in the making.Brook at last had his arch rival in the ring and he made no mistake after all the years of the years of trash talk and goading.

In truth, Khan never looked at the races and may regret not having agreed the fight during his brilliant prime.

Round 1
Khan starts on the back foot, pumping out his jab to head and body, landing the first meaningful shot of the bout.
But a combination shakes Khan badly, after a Brook left hook sent him on wobbly legs.
Again, the 2004 silver medalist is stunned with a combination and barley survives the round, hanging till the bell.

Round 2
Left hook grazes Khan’s chin as Brook comes out fast.
Khan lets hands go, causing Brook ducks under and pushes his rival back with a quick counter.
Brook lands a big right hands but Khan replies with a one-two combination, causing his Sheffield rival to this time do the grabbing.

Round 3
Khan is using his jab better and lands a good left hook, scoring with another big shot as Brook holds on.
But Brook soon replies with a massive left-hook, right hand combination lands and Khan is wobbled AGAIN and in trouble.
Khan is bundled into the corner as Brook pours the pressure on even throwing the Bolton man to the floor, which isn’t scored a knockdown.

Round 4
Khan comes out quick with a combination, sensing the fight is slipping away from his grasp.
Right hand over over the top lands for Brook but Khan takes it, and scores a classy counter soon after.
Another big right hand late on for Brook lands and again Khan holds on in the corner, looking like he is running out of time and room.
Round 5
Right hand lands clean for Brook, leaving Khan on the retreat as the Special One pours on the pressure, looking for the finish.
Khan sent into the ropes as Brook stalks him all around the ring, punching him from corner to corner.
Big counter left hook lands for Khan, sending Brook off balance but there is not follow up.

Round 6
Khan is shaken with a jab and in trouble once and cornered.
Brook is letting his hands go and Khan is covering up, with little left to offer.
Khan is STOPPED on the ropes and Brook has bashed his way to a famous win on the most important night of his career.

But the former world champion looked a shadow of his former self as he took a beating from Brook.
From the first bell to the moment the referee stopped the fight in the sixth round, Khan took a battering.
He was on the receiving end of several brutal combinations, and at times his legs looked like they were going to give way.
But he recovered to keep fighting, although it was nothing like the fighter of old.
And after the TKO finish, his normally chiselled face looked a mess.
Khan said: “I am very upset. After all the training I have done I just couldn’t get it going.
“I was falling a little bit short. No disrespect to Kell Brook, he put a great performance on. He did everything he needed to do.
“I was missing quite a lot. Kell was on his A-game today.”

Khan, who is believed to have amassed a £30million fortune, said: “I’ve had 40 fights, won two world titles. I need to sit down with my family.

But a sellout crowd in Manchester was forced to wait as the bout was delayed due to a bizarre dispute between the fighters over Brooks’ gloves.
All seemed to going smoothly as Brook was given the all-clear to make his ring walk.
But once the Sheffield star entered the ring, he was forced to quickly change his gloves in unusual scenes, leaving viewers baffled.
One boxing fan wrote: “Brooks changing gloves in the ring, what’s going on. Delay was down to a dispute about hand wraps according to ESPN. Don’t they agree on gloves being worn in advance to the fight?”
