Smiling Kell Brook doesn’t have a mark on him as he relaxes in Canary Islands after six-round battle against Amir Khan

And the former IBF welterweight champ has wasted little time in jetting off for a holiday – flying out to the Canary Islands for some much-needed R&R.
Brook was the picture of happiness as he posed for a snap with MTK Fuertaventura boss Adam Bailey.
The 35-year-old former world champ didn’t look as if he’d gone six hard rounds with his bitter rival as his face showed no signs of damage.
Brook and head coach Dominic Ingle made Fuertaventura their home away from home as they prepared for the long-overdue clash with Khan.
Special K did an eight-weight training camp in the Canaries, which meant he missed Christmas Day with his family and two of his daughters’ birthdays.
Brook had to make do with watching his kids open their presents on Zoom as he prepared for the second-biggest fight of his career.
But the pain of being away from his family was all worth it as he finally closed the book on his rivalry with Khan.

Aaron Chalmers reveals talks with Tommy Fury but still eyes life-changing fight with Jake Paul and Love Islanders

AARON CHALMERS is now in position to set himself up with life-changing fights with stars from the YouTube and reality TV world. Chalmers, 34, has now confirmed his switch from MMA to professional boxing, signing for promotional company Boxxer and Sky Sports.
Former reality TV star Aaron Chalmers, 34, has confirmed his move from MMA to boxing
It is the latest chapter in his prizefighting career, which started in 2017 with an MMA debut and will now carry on into the ring.
But Chalmers almost began his boxing career with a mega-fight against fellow influencer Tommy Fury.
He verbally agreed to face Fury, 22, while out of shape weighing 14st and having never boxed before.
But after meeting with trainer Adam Booth in the following days and revealing his plan, the esteemed boxing brain put a stop to that.
Chalmers told SunSport: “I met Adam a week later, and he said, ‘No chance’. It was not in my favour whatsoever.”
What followed for Chalmers was 17 months under the watchful eye of Booth, who famously led David Haye to a heavyweight world title.

He is set to make his pro boxing debut this April in the middleweight division as the latest high-profile name to sign with Sky Sports.
Chalmers helped headline MMA shows in his home of Newcastle – as well as London and Dublin – with the backing of his Geordie Shore fanbase.
And re-igniting talks with Fury, brother to heavyweight champion Tyson, could be another way of introducing boxing to a new set of eyeballs.
Chalmers said: “I don’t know Tommy, but I know he probably gets as much stick as I do.
“So maybe that’s something we can look at down the line. He’s a big lad, stuff like that, it interests us.
“Because it’s a challenge, it’s a big fight, maybe not for so-called ‘boxing fans’.
“But I’ll bring Geordie Shore fans to the boxing, which is not a bad thing.”

Chalmers is surrounded by elite boxing talent like Michael Conlan, Liam Williams and Josh Kelly at Booth’s Surrey-based gym.
He lives nearby, but that comes at the cost of spending only one weekend every fortnight back home with his partner Talia and their three kids.
But with the likes of YouTuber Jake Paul, 25, bringing millions of pounds to any opponent he faces, it offers Chalmers the ultimate reward.
Chalmers, who has 2million Instagram followers, said: “The sacrifices were made because I knew what could come, I’m looking at how boxing is going.
“Obviously, you’ve got your Jake Pauls and all that, going down that route. If one of them fights come up, that’s my family sorted for life.
“Not that I’m chasing that from the off, but I know with the right noise made, something like that could happen.
“Then the sacrifices would be worth it, as I’d never have to work a day in my life again.”

Paul’s coach BJ Flores is an old friend of Chalmers’ manager Booth, potentially making the fight easier to negotiate.
Love Island winner Jack Fincham, 30, is another celeb with a boxing background, looking to get in the ring again.
But despite the list of big-money bouts on offer to Chalmers, winning a prestigious domestic belt, like the famed English or British titles, could be just as rewarding.
Chalmers said: “By all means, if Adam and I thought in two or three years time, I was ready, then 100 per cent I would never shy away from trying to earn a belt.
“For someone who started boxing at 33 years old I would f***ing love to retire with a British or English title.
“For me that is a big, big step, but we’ll see. Along with those fights, you’ve also got Jack Fincham, and other fighters in boxing we can look at.
“I’m just excited, I’m so glad it’s been announced.”

Whyte has been the mandatory challenger for the belt for a number of years but only had until 6am today to sign the deal after Fury’s co-promoter Frank Warren won the purse bids.
The Londoner was unhappy that he was entitled to only 20 per cent of the fight purse and wanted to renegotiate for a larger chunk.
But now the champ has claimed the challenger has agreed to forge ahead to set-up the all-British showdown.
In an Instagram story Fury posted earlier, he taunted his rival and said: “Oh my God. Dillian Whyte’s signed his contract for 8million dollars. What a surprise!
“An absolute idiot. Should this even be a talking point? The man signed, for the biggest pay-day he’s ever going to get in his life.
“Oh my God, my head hurts from all the mind-games that Dillian Whyte’s been playing on me.

“Oh my God. I’m so sore. I don’t know whether I’m coming or going. My training camp’s a mess.”
Fury would hit the gym later, and as he enjoyed a run next to fellow heavyweight Parker, he posted another message to Whyte.
He said: “I’m going to absolutely bust Dillian Whyte like a cheap f*****g water balloon and then when I finish with him, Joe Parker’s going to set about him because you’re useless, you big dosser. You useless sausage.”
The bout will reportedly be on April 23 at Wembley Stadium and will be Fury’s second title defence after he retained it in his first by knocking out Deontay Wilder last October in their trilogy fight.
The Gypsy King last fought on UK soil when outpointing Francesco Pianeta at Belfast’s Windsor Park in August 2018.
Meanwhile Whyte has remained quiet so far despite Fury’s barbs and has made no official announcement on the fight except for posting a workout image earlier captioned with ‘work’.
He was last in the ring 11 months ago when he avenged his shock defeat to Russian veteran Alexander Povetkin in Gibraltar.

And the Brixton Body Snatcher took to social media hours after sending his contract to the WBC to show he’s already hard at work for the bout.
On Tuesday afternoon, Whyte posted a video of himself dripping with sweat following an intense workout to his Instagram story.
‘Work’ was emblazoned across the video, in which the interim WBC heavyweight champ sang: “Ain’t no sunshine when she goes away.”
Fury, 33, reacted to the news of Whyte putting pen to paper in a series of Instagram videos on Tuesday morning.

Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte will finally settle their feud on April 23
“The man signed for the biggest pay day he’s ever going to get in his life.
“Oh my God, my head hurts from all the mind games that Dillian Whyte’s been playing on me.
“Oh my God, I’m so sore, I don’t know whether I’m coming or going. My training camp’s a mess.”
Whyte waited until the eleventh hour to return his contract to the WBC as he was irate with the purse spilt in Fury’s favour.
Gypsy King Fury is set to take home 80 per cent of the £30.6million purse – meaning the defending champ will pocket £24m.
Whyte, meanwhile, will take home £6m for his first undisputed world title fight.
SunSport understands a press conference for the fight is set to take place on Wednesday.

Former unified heavyweight king Fury is brimming with confidence ahead of his long-awaited showdown with Whyte, who he’s vowed to ‘bust’ like a balloon.
He said: “I’m going to absolutely BUST Dillian Whyte in like a cheap f***ing water balloon.
“You’re useless you big dosser, you useless sausage.”
The Brit duo have shared the ring before in sparring sessions and Whyte claimed he floored his rival on “multiple occasions”.
Whye joined the Gypsy King’s camp first in Manchester ten years ago ahead of the latter’s five-round win over Martin Rogan in 2012.
He joined Fury again a year later on the Belgian-Dutch border for Fury’s doomed scrap with David Haye.
Last year Whyte said: “Well, me and Tyson Fury sparred and I bashed him about and dropped him on multiple occasions. Simple as that.”

Dillian Whyte claimed he ‘bashed’ Tyson Fury in sparring and dropped him numerous times

Whyte will be guaranteed £6m for turning up to face 6ft 9in Fury and if he wins he’ll see his pay increased to £9m.
Despite being unsatisfied with the purse split being 80/20 in the Gypsy King’s favour, Whyte has agreed to his shot at the big time and the chance to hand Fury his first ever defeat.
And he has every confidence he can become the first man to beat Fury after allegedly flooring him already.
Speaking during a previous appearance on The Boxing Show on Sky Sports News, he said: “He’s the one that come out and said he beat me up in the gym and stuff like that. I can tell you now, that didn’t happen.
“I don’t like telling sparring stories, but people in the game know. They know about me.
“Well, me and Tyson Fury sparred and I bashed him about and dropped him on multiple occasions. Simple as that.

“If I was such an easy fight, why is he not in any rush to fight me? He said before beating Wilder, ‘When I beat Wilder, I’m going to give Dillian Whyte his title shot.’ He just talks rubbish. This is war, let’s go.”
Whyte has also claimed that Fury refused to a mandated fight against him for the WBC diamond belt.
The Body Snatcher added: “It makes me angry and it frustrates me because Tyson Fury refused to fight me in a mandated fight for the WBC diamond belt.
“And they took my mandatory position away and gave it to Tyson Fury after he fought Otto Wallin who was ranked around 1,000,000 in the world.
“It’s a joke, how can he fight Tom Schwarz and Otto Wallin and then be the WBC mandatory contender after I have been beating top-ten guys back-to-back?”
However, Fury seems to have a different recollection of events between him and Whyte and called the Londoner out as a liar.
He told BT Sport: “Dillian Whyte is a bum, untrue. Dillian Whyte couldn’t drop his granny, never mind the ‘Gypsy King.
“Who has Dillian Whyte ever dropped, Lucas Browne…please. Who else, who has he ever dropped?
“I’ve never seen him drop anyone.
“He even had to cheat Dereck Chisora out of a fight, grabbing him and holding him because Eddie Hearn told him to. What a bum…useless!” More

Fury is unsurprisingly the bookies’ favourite to make a successful defence of the iconic green and gold belt.
But Chisora, who has fought both men twice, losing each time, thinks Whyte can spring a giant upset on April 23 AT Wembley.
Speaking to Behind the Gloves, the 38-year-old, who lost his rematch against Joseph Parker last time out, said: “He [Dillian Whyte] wants it, he’s hungry.
“The problem is yeah, when fighters make 20, 30, or 40 million, they’re not hungry anymore.
“There’s only one fighter who has ever been hungry when he’s made £100m and that’s Floyd Mayweather.
“When the rest of the fighters make all this money, they’re not hungry anymore, they just do it for the sake of doing it.

“But when someone who is hungry [and] wants it more, like Dillian right now, he’s going to come in and die in that ring that day.”
Chisora first fought Fury in 2011, losing comprehensively on points.
Their rematch went even worse for ‘War’ as he was pulled out by his corner after ten one-sided rounds.
Many thought Chisora deserved the win when he first fought Whyte in 2016, going down on a split decision.
But there was no need for judges in their second clash two years later when Chisora was sparked out by The Bodysnatcher in the tenth round.

Meanwhile Fury has labelled Whyte an idiot for delaying the signing of their £30million showdown and haggling over more funds.
The 34-year-old Body Snatcher is due for almost £6million, rising to £9m, if he wins the WBC heavyweight title in their April 23 battle.
But, as a bonafide pay-per-view attraction and the long-time mandatory challenger, he has been pushing for a larger slice of the record-breaking purse.
Fury took to Instagram to growl: “Oh my God, Dillian Whyte signed his contract for $8million [£6m], what a surprise, an absolute idiot.

Dillian Whyte claims he only earned £300 from beating AJ in the amateurs

The Body Snatcher managed to defeat the future world champion via a unanimous points verdict in an all-out brawl.
However, Whyte later revealed that he only received the small sum for the fight – but sounded very happy with his pay cheque.
He told Carl Froch’s podcast: “I remember, I had an amateur fight somewhere and I beat the guy, I think it was the Joshua fight, and the coach comes to me and he gave me like 300 quid and he said, ‘this is your exes,’ and I was like ‘what?’.
“So you’re telling me I get paid to beat people up? And he went, ‘yeah, here are your exes’.
“So I was shocked, I never came from a sporting background, I ain’t had no big amateur career.
“I had no-one to look after me and tell me whatever, no-one in my family did anything sport-wise.”

Whyte, 33, added: “I didn’t know how it worked, my coach said do you want to fight and I said yeah, cool, I don’t care I’ll fight anyone.
“So he came to me and gave me [the money] and [I said], ‘so you’re telling me I can beat guys up and don’t get in trouble and I get paid’. I was like, ‘when is the next fight then’.”
Whyte and Joshua both moved into the pro ranks following successful amateur careers.
They met again in December 2015 but this time Joshua, 31, got the win via knockout in the 7th round after being rocked by Whyte in the second.

But now Whyte is set to earn the biggest payday of his professional boxing career on April 23.
Whyte will pocket £6million for his WBC heavyweight title clash against Tyson Fury.
And if he upsets the odds, he’ll be handed a £3m bonus taking his pay up to £9m in total.
Joshua, on the other hand, is preparing for a rematch against Oleksandr Usyk, who he lost his WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO titles to last year. More

He captioned it: “For all the fat peeps out there, this one is for you.”
In the clip Fury explains how he has eaten the sweet treats, before adding: “This one is for the fat boys.”
He then lifts the bar while shouting ‘Mars’ and ‘Galaxy’.
Fury has labelled Whyte an idiot for delaying the signing of their £30million showdown and haggling over more funds.
The 34-year-old Body Snatcher is due for almost £6million, rising to £9m if he wins the WBC heavyweight title, in their April 23 battle.
But, as a bonafide pay-per-view attraction and the long-time mandatory challenger, he has been pushing for a larger slice of the record-breaking purse.

It meant 33-year-old Fury, promoter Frank Warren and their BT Sport broadcaster have been held up from being able to announce and start flogging the Wembley war.
And even though Whyte signed his side of the contract around 2am UK time on Tuesday morning, he is pushing for a cut of the incoming revenue to attend media events that help sell ringside tickets and PPVs.
Fury took to Instagram to growl: “Oh my God, Dillian Whyte signed his contract for $8million [£6m], what a surprise, an absolute idiot.
“Should this even be a talking point?
“The man signed for the biggest pay day he’s ever going to get in his life.”
Meanwhile, Tyson’s younger brother Tommy says it will be one of the Morecambe mauler’s ‘easiest fights’.
He told Sky Sports: “In this game, there is levels to it – that’s just the top and bottom of it in boxing – and Dillian Whyte just isn’t at Tyson’s level.
“This will be one of Tyson’s easiest fights.” More
