Though The Cat has cast doubt over when the rematch will take place after joining the fight on the frontline for Ukraine and declaring he is ready to KILL Russian invaders.
Joshua has shown his support for Usyk and Ukraine and hopes the two countries find peace.
And he has also opened up on the stepaside talks that took place, with Fury desperate for his compatriot to give up a shot at winning back his WBA. WBO and IBF titles so he could fight Usyk in an undisputed dust-up.
But the Gypsy King and AJ couldn’t reach an agreement, with the latter only interested in walking away if he received a nine-figure sum.
He told iFL TV: “I asked them for a big stack of dough which I knew they wouldn’t be able to get.

“If they did get it I would have considered it but they didn’t get it.
“I’m focused on the Oleksandr Usyk rematch. If it was hundreds of millions, I’d have been like, ‘yeah, let’s look at it’ but it wasn’t.
“I want to fight and the money will come if I go out there and win.
“Money comes with success so I’d rather do what I can do in the ring, get revenge and get the belts back.”
Joshua has also revealed how he wants his rival Dillian Whyte to beat Fury in their WBC title clash at Wembley on April 23.
He remarked: “It’s a good opponent [for Fury], it’s a good [title] defence against Dillian Whyte.
“Dillian Whyte needs to come in, look at what Tyson Fury does and reacts to, and do the complete opposite. Maybe work the body, and be conditioned to go the distance.

“But I hope Dillian trains hard [and] doesn’t underestimate Tyson. Because it’s his first shot for Dillian, I think he’ll be hungry, do you know what I mean?
“This ain’t like his tenth time fighting for a title, you can have a little hiccup along the way. This is his first time fighting for the title.
“I’m rooting for Dillian, even though I hate him, and I want to smash him one of these days. Go on Dillian, I’m with you all the way.” More

Fury now claims the row was just a ‘publicity stunt’ explaining that he and McGregor could never fall out for real.
Speaking at a press conference announcing his next fight against Dillian Whyte, the Gypsy King said: “Beef? Man’s 10 stone [I’m] 20 stone behave yourselves, only beef we would have is me eating him in a beef sandwich.
“[It was a] bit of a publicity stunt. Super Bowl weekend, all eyes on us.”
The ‘beef’ started when Fury shared a picture of McGregor’s rival Khabib Nurmagomedov and praised the retired Russian fighter.
Fury posted: “This man did it right. Got in and won and got out on top. Big respect.”
McGregor, who lost his grudge match with Khabib in 2018, responded by slamming Fury for not stepping in when Billy Joe Saunders’ dad was shoved by security after his son’s scrap with Canelo last year.

McGregor said: “Yup the Joyces. Big Joe! U bottled it with Billy joe Da, what were you doing there?”.
The 33-year-old has since deleted the tweet.
Fury then responded saying: “Come back when u win a fight mush, & the difference in me & you is I don’t get myself in trouble & people actually like me, your just a bully who hit old man.”
McGregor then replied: “Oh no people don’t like me what will I ever do hahahahaaha idiot. You are just a little r** licker bro. That’s all. You stood there while your friends father was being attacked and done nothing.”
Fury stopped short of continuing this argument on.
But recently he commented on an old video clip of him praising the Notorious and saying: “It’s all good, we forget it.
McGregor responded: “Fair play Tyson. God bless ya mate.”
The pair appear to have patched up their differences More

“I am very proud to see how patriotic people are,” he told CNN . “We’re not interested in how strong the Russian army is, we’re ready to fight.
“And we’re ready to die for our home country and for our families, because it’s our home.
“It’s our future and somebody wants to come to our home and steal our future from us.”
When asked how long he thinks his makeshift army can hold off Vladimir Putin’s marauding brutes, he admitted his own mortality is part of the equation.
“I’m not ready to give you a clear answer,” he said. “So long, such a long time – if we’re still alive”.
Klitschko’s compatriot and current WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk has also taken up arms and revealed he is ready to kill invaders who threaten his people.

“The will to be independent is the main priority for us. And we’re defending our families, our city, our country and our future.”
And the powerhouse who lost to Lennox Lewis in 2003 – nicknamed Dr Ironfirst – revealed it is not just millionaire sportstmen who are valiantly standing their ground.
“There is a huge patriotic movement right now,” he said.
“Old people, can you imagine? doctors, actors, actors from the theatre, many professions that never had no expectation to fight, to keep weapons.
“But right now they are coming to us, they’re ready to fight. It’s amazing.” More

“I swim four days a week, I box three days a week, I do my strength and conditioning two days a week.”
He added on a typical day he would: “Wake up, I’ll go swimming and I’ll probably swim 500 metres. I’ll have a stretch and recovery session, then I’ll do my strength and conditioning.
“Then I’ll get back, have some food then I’ll do my boxing, then I’ll get back from that, have some food, then I’ll do a ten-mile run that night. So, it’s non-stop.”
Cain continued: “I don’t have a rest day because I have to get up at 5.30am because I have commitments to do with the foundation… I have to work on that, I have to work on my personal projects in the midst of that as well.
“I don’t really go to bed until 12/one o’clock at night, so if I get a solid five-hour sleep, that’s a good night for me.”
    DEJI PREDICTION
Cain also offered his thoughts on Deji’s clash with American YouTuber Alex Wassabi – real name Alex Burris.
Internet personality Deji lost a white collar exhibition bout to Jake Paul in 2018, the now 5-0 unbeaten professional boxer.
Deji was last in the ring in June 2021 in a similar celebrity bout, losing to TikToker Vinnie Hacker.
But Cain is backing him to come out on top this time around.
When asked for who would win the fight, he said: “I’m going with my boy from Team UK, Deji.
“It’s about time, it’s his time now to prove himself, it’s his time to pick up that ‘W’ and it’s his time to do it for team UK.” More

It ended in a points loss for Armz, who now makes his return in boxing on Saturday night, featuring in a UK vs USA influencer event.
His dedication to combat sports has seen weight lifting take a backseat – although not parked totally.
Armz explained: “When it comes to mixed martial arts, there is no room for weight training, unless you make time.
“Mixed martial arts and boxing are two different sports, when I do my mixed martial arts training, there’s a lot of wrestling, a lot of jiu jitsu, striking, boxing, kickboxing.
“For two hours you’re constantly getting slammed on the floor, you’re doing locks, getting choked out, then you have to do striking.
“So after all of that, there’s not really any room for weight lifting. But I’ve been pushing myself, so I do still get my weight lifting in.”
Armz has been lifting weights ever since he can remember and joined a gym the moment he turned 16, when he was legally allowed to do so.
But he revealed swapping the dumbbells and bench press for heavy bags and pads has been easier than expected.

Armz said: “I love it, but I know in my head I’ll come back to it. But I’m working towards something, so in that respect I’m not wasting my time.
“The sacrifice is for something – and to be honest it’s not a sacrifice because I’m learning and gaining new skills.
“Weight lifting, my body is always going to be accustomed to it.”
Armz’s personal best bench press was a whopping 230kg – equivalent to a 36 STONE man.
He revealed: “That was at my peak. I say at my peak, that was when I was really, really immersed in weight lifting and that was all I was doing.
“So 230kg was my heaviest, 140kg at that time was my warm up!
“But right now, 140kg is my max work. But like I said, I’m coming back, I’m coming for all the weights.”
At the height of his lifting, Armz weighed as heavy as 119kg (18st 7lb) but has now dropped to 108kg (17st).

And as well as the pounds, Armz has also lost his appetite, totally switching up his eating habits.
He said: “My approach to food has never been conventional.
“A lot of people are like, ‘Oh my God, I need to eat, I need to get my calories’. Measuring their calories etc, I’ve never done that.
“Before, when I was new in the game so to speak, I would eat like eight meals religiously, everyday, I knew I had to get my meal prep in check straight away.
“Up until now, where I’ve been raising focus on myself, my approach towards food has been different. I listen to my body more.
“When it comes to food, I don’t over indulge. I don’t care about missing calories, if my body feels like it has enough energy and I can go and work, I’ll do that.
“Sometimes I don’t even eat in the morning, I’ll just have a banana or something, that’s good enough for me.”
Armz will make his boxing debut against American musician and internet personality ‘Minikon’.

And he has prepared for the bout training alongside MMA stars such as Michael ‘Venon’ Page.
It gives Armz confidence against whoever he steps foot in the ring with at Wembley Arena next week.
He said: “I don’t know much, I don’t really care. I just know he’s another body.
“When I came in here, I got thrown in the deep end, I’m used to being thrown in the deep end.
“I came here and I was sparring all these pros, world-class MMA fighters.
“You don’t have time to think, ‘Oh my God, what do I need to know? What weight is he? How hard does he punch?’
“You don’t care about that. You go in, face the music and survive.

Evander Holyfield tells Tyson Fury he should ‘duck’ Oleksandr Usyk and makes prediction for Dillian Whyte fight

EVANDER HOLYFIELD has told Tyson Fury he should ‘duck’ Oleksandr Usyk after beating Dillian Whyte. The WBC heavyweight champion will defend his titles against the Body Snatcher at Wembley Stadium on April 23.
Evander Holyfield spoke exclusively to Sun SportCredit: AFP
He has warned Tyson Fury (right) to avoid fighting Oleksandr Usyk (left)Credit: Getty
That is a fight that the former world title holder Holyfield expects Fury to win.
The Brit has announced that he plans to retire after his battle under the arch, but many believe he could still go after unifying the division against fellow champ Usyk, whose rematch with Anthony Joshua is now in doubt after Russia invaded Ukraine.
However, Holyfield thinks Fury should avoid battling the smaller Usyk.
Speaking exclusively to Sun Sport, Real Deal explained: “Well, this is what I know: Most little guys are always better than the big guys. A lot quicker and you’re very good with moving.
“What made me the fighter that I was is I was a lot smaller than most, so it was very easy for me to hit them and I was a lot quicker.
“I can see Usyk giving him problems. So, I think the smart thing to do is eliminate this ‘I’m bigger than him so this and the other’ because everybody knows that small guys fight better, more skillful and faster than big guys.

“Big guy’s got the power! If they catch you they can hurt you! But can Tyson Fury hurt him?
“And the thing is Tyson Fury is an OK puncher but he’s not a big puncher, and so him not being a big puncher he’s not going to be quicker than Usyk anyway.”
Holyfield continued: “The guy with faster hands will throw more punches.
“That is a guy to duck by saying ‘Oh I’m a bigger guy I’m not going to fight him.’
“You’re the biggest guy and you fight a guy that is quicker but smaller, but most small guys are a lot better fighters too than big guys.”
When pressed for a prediction for Fury’s showdown with Whyte, Holyfield had no doubts that it will be the unbeaten Gypsy King that gets his hand raised.
He said: “It should be a very entertaining fight. Both really want to fight, I think – Dillian Whyte really wants to fight. I think it’s going to be a great fight.
“I think Dillian’s got the energy to give him problems, but I think Tyson Fury is clever. He is just a clever fighter and I don’t think Whyte can beat him.
“What Whyte does have is he’s similar age, and anytime people take chances you can’t really rule your chance of winning.
“Even though Tyson Fury is a clever boxer and proved to do the right things, all the years that I fought I realised that who is willing to do anything stands a chance. So, that would make this fight different.
“You can say, ‘Tyson Fury is a better boxer’ but when you have a guy that is self-motivated and takes chances then anytime a person takes chances the person has just as great chances to win than who thinks the guy is just going to let them win.” More

Whyte has decided to stay in training camp in Portugal ahead of their all-Brit blockbuster.
But Fury was determined to have the traditional stare-off – even if it was with a paper version of Whyte.
After the press conference had finished, Fury stood up and said: “Shall we do the face-to-face?
“That’s fine, I will just do it like this. I will definitely win this stare-down.”
Someone in the crowd then shouted: “Look him in the eyes Tyson.”
The undefeated Morecambe mauler then stared at the poster of his future opponent.

Fury then turned to face forwards and extended out his fist before flashing a big smile.
The 33-year-old then invited Frank Warren to ‘get in between the fighters’, which the legendary promoter duly obliged.
It was an eventful presser ahead of the heavyweight showdown.
Warren slammed Whyte as ‘disgraceful and unprofessional’ for not attending, with the challenger’s lawyer has claimed his big-fight silence is in response to his treatment from the rival promoter.
Fury then announced he had come up with a new nickname for his Brit rival, ‘FRILLIAN WHYTE KNICKERS’ and vowed to triumph on St George’s Day in honour of the great dragon slayer.
The champ then announced he would RETIRE after the fight and be happy with ‘£150m in the bank ‘.
However he previously unveiled a five-fight plan before his iconic trilogy win over Deontay Wilder in October.
And the April 23 clash with the Brixton ace is supposed to be a semi-final to face the winner of Anthony Joshua’s rematch with Oleksandr Usyk for the WBC, IBF and WBO belts and legendary undisputed status.

Oleksandr Usyk throws Anthony Joshua rematch in doubt by admitting Ukraine and ‘pride are more important than a belt’

The undefeated WBA, IBF and WBO champion has joined the Kyiv Territorial Defence and been pictured with an automatic weapon.
The 2012 Olympic champion and undisputed cruiserweight king dethroned AJ in September and is contractually tied into a rematch that is targeted for June.
But the fearless champion has a far bigger fight on his hands against blood-thirsty Vladimir Putin and his savages.
When asked by CNN if he is ready to kill for the cause, Uysk said: “If they will want to take my life, or the lives of my close ones, I will have to do it.
“But I don’t want that. I don’t want to shoot, I don’t want to kill anybody, but if they will be killing me, I will have no choice.
“Maybe, it’ll sound sentimental but my soul belongs to the Lord and my body and my honour belong to my country, to my family.

Oleksandr Usyk was speaking to CNN from his basement in Kyiv
Usyk said he was ready to die for his country
“So there is no fear, absolutely no fear. There’s just bafflement. How could this be in the 21st century?”
Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn has been plagued with questions about the scheduled bout and done his best to be respectful and diplomatic.
But his recent suggestion that Usyk could start his training camp in a matter of weeks now sounds fanciful.
“I really don’t know when I’m going to be stepping back in the ring,” the brave and devout southpaw said.
“My country and my honour are more important to me than a championship belt.”
But he confirmed that his genius boxing skills, tactical mind and nerves of steel are helping him in his darkest hours.
He said: “It has helped me to be calm and mentally prepared.
“And it helps me to help others who are panicking and nervous.”
Usyk flew to the UK to discuss the AJ rematch just days before the invasion and enjoyed a Chelsea vs Lille Champions League game in the VIP seats at Stamford Bridge on February 22.
And he explained how much his life and surroundings have changed in just a few terrifying days, as happy children could be heard close to him on the video link to the American news network.
In typically humane fashion he even reached an olive branch out to the innocent Russian people tyrant Putin pretends to be protecting with his illegal war.
And revealed he is putting on an even braver face for the people around him as they hope to survive the onslaught.
“The bombing around is crazy,” he said. “They just bombed the city of Mariupol, one of my friends got a rocket in his roof. The Russians (soldiers) are not playing games.
“Russian people don’t really know exactly what’s going on here. They’re not seeing what’s going on. They are victims of their president.
“When there is an air raid alarm, we hide. Of course, it’s fun when there are a lot of us here – we’re having fun. But we’re forcing ourselves to have fun.”
