      In front of a Manchester Arena crowd he drove a rocket of a right hand into the first leftie he has ever faced – after a range-finding jab – and bullied him down to the deck for a count he could not beat.
      Benn crouched down low and leapt into attacks off his hulking thighs, the first was a success but he was tagged with a right hook when the next was too predictable.

      Hatton was gifted a terrible decision win last September, by a weak refereeing call, which turned some fans off of his growing story.

      CBC does land a left hook that seems flush but McCarthy doesn’t wobble.

      Last July Cris Billam-Smith and Tommy McCarthy slugged it out in Eddie Hearn’s Essex garden.
      Bournemouth’s CBS nicked it on a split decision and they rerun the cruiserweight clash tight now.

      Hatton begins the round with some nice, patient work, landing a few jabs before pinging in the right hand.
      He then goes for a left uppercut off the back of a right hand but Gregores covers up.
      Much has been made of how hard it’s been for Campbell to follow in the footsteps of his dad Ricky, but tonight’s been another improvement for the 21-year-old.
      Gregores tries to land something meaningful in the final 10 seconds but to no avail.

      Campbell’s trainer Matthew Hatton asks his nephew to get the snap back into his punches.
      “Let’s not get ragged,” he adds.
      And Campbell responds in kind, landing a beautiful left to the body.
      “Good shot!” Matthew shouts from the corner.
      Gregores looks like he’s feeling the pace of the fight so far, he’s not throwing as much as he was before.

      More of the same from Hatton, who keeps coming forward and looking for big shots.
      Gregores looks like he’s becoming used to Hatton’s power, however, and is probably going to get through these next few rounds.
      Hatton lands a nice left to the body, but Gregores comes back with a counter of his own.

      Gregores has another fight in two weeks, so he won’t want to get stopped here.
      But Hatton is landing some big shots. Young Campbell looks hell-bent on getting that stoppage.
      And it would increase his streak to three. Some signs also that Hatton is slightly weary of what’s coming back from the Argentine.

      It’s a deserved bloody nose for the British Boxing Board of Control, which has repeatedly failed to punish poor judging performances.
      And Fury hopes it improves British officiating across the UK — especially for neighbour Phil Edwards, who scored that first Wilder clash a 113-113 draw.
      The champ said: “Over the years we’ve seen a lot of dodgy decisions, so we just wanted to be treated fairly.
      “We didn’t want to be a victim of one of those lopsided decisions again, we didn’t want any favours, we just wanted fair play.
      “It was the British judge who gave it a draw (in the Wilder tie). Fantastic. He only lives down the road from me in Preston, cheers mate!
      “We don’t need the judges anyway because I’m going to get him out of there.
      “That’s the only way you can guarantee winning a fight, getting the opponent out of there. It’s one of the only sports where you have the ability to take a decision into your own hands.”
      Fury has vowed to use his shovel-like hands to bury Whyte’s title hopes but he has offered to take his old sparring partner for a drink after the dance.

      On the undercard of his first bout for 15 years Jake Paul knocked out ex-NBA star Nate Robinson to move to 2-0 in his career.
