TYSON FURY has partnered Don McLean for a new rendition of American Pie – 50 years after the song’s release.McLean’s famous hit, which has 484 million listens on Spotify, will have a new spin with Fury joining in on the chorus.

The Gypsy King is never hesitant about breaking out into song and American Pie has been a favourite since his return to boxing in 2018.
After his first fight against Deontay Wilder in December of that year, which ended in a draw, Fury celebrated his performance by singing McLean’s song.
The heavyweight world champion has previous experience dueting with a singer too, appearing on Robbie William’s song Bad Sharon in 2019
In 2019 Fury sang American Pie twice more – at a Nordoff Robbins charity event and during a Q&A style event in Glasgow.

Naturally, the Brit also sung American Pie when he reclaimed the world title by beating Wilder in 2020.
His duet with McLean will air on BT Sport and it is set to be shown live at Wembley ahead of his fight against Dillian Whyte.
The duet ties in with Fury’s homecoming – with the April 23 bout set to be his first on English soil since June 2018.
McLean is also celebrating the 50th anniversary of the song and is set to tour the UK and Europe from September, though it is not known whether Fury will feature.

By September Fury could be busy preparing for another fight after taking on Whyte.
The Gypsy King is a heavy favourite to defend his belt and he could eye Oleksandr Usyk or Anthony Joshua next, depending on who wins the rematch.
Eddie Hearn revealed their second fight has been agreed and is set to take place in July at an unconfirmed location.

TYSON FURY dropped a huge hint of how he could box Dillian Whyte on Saturday during his open workout session.The 33-year-old star, who defends his WBC heavyweight title against his British compatriot at Wembley, boxed southpaw for the entire session on Tuesday.

Known to be ambidextrous, the Gypsy King usually fights orthodox during his bouts, while switching to the left-handed stance sporadically throughout.
But he stayed in the southpaw position during his pads workout with trainer SugarHill Steward.
Commenting on the footage which was shared by BT Sport Boxing, his dad John refused to give away the game plan.
Asked whether that is a sign he will box Whyte southpaw, he remarked: “I can’t give too much away there.

Following his open workout, Fury lifted the lid on his decision to train southpaw for the entire session.
He stated: “We all know I’m ambidextrous and can punch with both hands.
“I’ve had knockout wins with my right and my left so I’m just sharpening it all up and ready to rock and roll.

Adeleye was born in London in 1996 to Nigerian parents – both of whom didn’t want him to go into professional boxing.
Adeleye began boxing at the tender age of 14, training under Gary McGuiness at the Dale Youth Club and had a plethora of amateur fights before turning pro in December 2019.
During his time as an amateur, Adeleye became Junior ABA champion in 2013 before winning the Senior ABA Novices and Senior ABA titles in 2017 and 2018 respectively.

The physically imposing Adeleye stands at an impressive 6’4 and tips the scales at a solid 15 stone, 7lbs.
His weight, however, will likely increase in the coming years as he continues to grow into his chiselled frame.

Adeleye had over 30 amateur fights before his professional debut against Dmitrij Kalinovskij, whom he demolished in just under a round.
The man-mountain has gone on to record a further seven victories, with all but one of those triumphs coming by way of stoppage.

And Hearn admits the Brixton Body Snatcher’s time on the sidelines could work against him on fight night.
He continued: “The inactivity, both men have been inactive.
“But the inactivity for Dillian is slightly worrying and he’s got to get into the fight early.
“Because what you don’t want to do, again, going back to Joshua-Usyk is be six rounds in and be four or five rounds down in a fight like that.

“Because Tyson will coast from there. But Dillian is very fit, very strong.
“And also, this is his chance. And he’s not the kind of guy that’s gonna go in there and let it pass him by.
“So I expect him to give everything on Saturday.”
Veteran promoter Hearn believes the pair’s grudge match will end in a late stoppage in Whyte’s favour.
