Frampton on Fury’s recovery powers
“Knowing that Fury has that in him, that he can really dig deep and fight in the trenches, might be in Dillian’s mind,” Frampton said.
“If Dillian was going into this fight without ever seeing the last two Wilder fights, he would be going into this expecting a back-foot Fury getting up on his toes.

Dean Whyte vs John Fury?
“John [Fury] wanted to fight me, I wasn’t sure what was going on!” Whyte’s brother said after Wednesday’s presser.
“He went mad, I was like ‘mate, what are you doing? You’re an old man, his dad, I’m going to give you the respect because you’re his father, I’m not going to entertain this’.
“I said ‘Tyson, talk to this guy’ and Tyson said ‘dad chill out’.
“I’m a young man respectfully, younger than him, I’m with 40 or 50 guys, it’s not that kind of party, we’re not playing silly b here’.
“I don’t know what was going on. I said to him ‘I’ve always given you respect, you’re this man’s dad, I’ve given you respect, I’ve never been rude to you’.”
Fury’s presser thoughts
It was certainly a tame press conference on Wednesday, but Fury had to prevent his dad getting into it with Whyte’s brother Dean.
“I just prevented a big ruckus on stage, people want a big ruckus at a press conference, they want to see all this screaming and shouting and punching,” Fury said afterwards.
“But listen, let the two boxers do a fight and enjoy it, it’s not for entourages to get involved or anything like that and to be professional and say ‘let’s step back, let me and him do what we’ve got to do and that’s it’.
“We’re here to a do a fight, the man is doing his job, getting paid to do it and so am I. People are here for a real fight, we don’t need to scream and shout at our press conference.
“It was respectful stuff, the man’s done his job, he’s obviously trained, so have I, we’re going to see a good fight Saturday night, end of. Nothing more to say.”

Can Whyte beat Fury?
Carl Frampton thinks not, despite a potential underestimation of the Brixton man.
“I think Dillian is underestimated by some people but I can see why,” he said.
“People are now so excited about Fury because of the Wilder fights but he had a few stinkers before that.
“And a lot of people will remember Whyte getting knocked out by Povtkin.
“People assume it will be an easy night for Fury but it is very hard for me to see a way for Whyte to win the fight.”

BT Sport Box Office will broadcast the fight in the UK, with ESPN+ showing the event in the US.
BT wrote in a tweet to confirm the news: “The time for talking is over! After years of back and forth, the heavyweight showdown is on!”
The event will cost £24.95 on BT Sport, which was the price of Fury’s last two clashes with Deontay Wilder on the channel.

But his only regret in life is having sex before marriage, having wed wife Paris in 2008.
He has six children with Paris with daughter Athena arriving in August and the Gypsy King revealed he wants 11 kids in total.
In an interview in 2015 Fury said he had bedded over 500 women.

THE plane passenger punched by Mike Tyson will not press charges as ICE T became the latest to weigh in on the incident.Tyson allegedly unleashed a flurry of punches and bloodied a fellow air passenger after they reportedly threw a bottle at him.

According to TMZ, Tyson got into it with an “overly excited” fan who sat behind him and kept talking “in his ear” after the American heavyweight asked him to “chill”.
The incident took place before a flight scheduled to leave San Francisco International Airport for Florida at 10:30pm local time.
Police then confirmed to ESPN that they were called to the incident in San Francisco after 10pm when the plane prepared for take-off.
They spoke to two men, who were unidentified but both were released.

MIKE Tyson would destroy training partners in minutes not for pleasure – but to jjust get home quickly to watch TV. Tyson, who repeatedly punched a fellow passenger on board a plane and left him bloodied this week, often turned a planned five-hour sparring session into less than 60 minutes of destruction because he was desperate to watch cartoons.

That is the insight from Tyson’s confidante, ex bodyguard and chauffeur Rudy Gonzalez, who had a ringside seat at fights and home battles during the New Yorker’s rise to infamy.

Gonzalez said: “When I first worked with him he had to be home by 9pm, because we were running 10 miles in the morning.
“His manager Jim Jacob and trainer Kevin Rooney along with Cus would make sure I enforced that training schedule.
“Mike was so disciplined. He would sit upstairs in the house studying boxing films for hours, seeing how different fighters moved and hit.
“Cus was injecting him with centuries of training. The peek a boo technique – it felt so clean and natural for him. Cus built a boxing Frankenstein.
“Cus would repeat over and over to Mike from the beginning, ‘Do you know you’re going to be heavyweight champion of the world someday?’
“If you say it enough times, you believe it. And if you believe it, then you’ll have no doubt.”
Gonzalez, whose book about his Tyson experiences – The Inner Ring – is being developed into an animated movie, added that other staff were terrified of Tyson during his training time.
Gonzalez has made headlines in the past with his book about his time with Tyson, pointing the finger at promoter Don King for many of the star’s troubles.
He claims King ‘psychologically broke him’, adding: “Mike’s story would have had a different ending if Cus had lived longer.
“His sister Denise always made me promise to keep Mike away from Don, calling him a clown.”
He claimed that he witnessed ‘deceit, betrayal, and fraud perpetrated’ upon Tyson

Fury is the reigning WBC heavyweight champion after back-to-back victories over Deontay Wilder in Las Vegas, and now faces Whyte at Wembley in the biggest sporting event of the year so far.
The Gypsy King retained his crown by emphatic knockout back in October last year, with unification against then-champ Anthony Joshua eyed up.
AJ was to ultimately lose his own title defence to Oleksandr Usyk and a rematch was delayed by Usyk’s decision to fight for Ukraine against Russia.
Fury’s attention therefore turned to mandatory challenger Whyte, 34, as he puts his belt on the line once again.

Tyson Fury comes into this fight with a record of 31-0-1.
The Gypsy King has never been beaten, which allowed him to retain the title of lineal champion even when he was stripped of his belts in 2015 for failing to fight Wladimir Klitschko in a rematch.
The one fight Fury failed to win was his first bout against Deontay Wilder in 2018, when he dominated the fight before being knocked down in the 12th round and narrowly beating the count.
Judges scored that fight a draw, though many felt Fury had won.
However, Fury left judges in no doubt as to the result in his second and third fights against Wilder, stopping the American in the 7th and 11th rounds in 2020 and 2021 respectively.
Dillian Whyte’s record is 28-2.
