FLOYD MAYWEATHER has CONFIRMED his latest return to the ring. The boxing legend will face his former sparring partner “Dangerous” Don Moore on May 14 in Dubai.

They will fight in an eight-round exhibition bout on top of the Burj Al Arab Hotel HELIPAD.
The same idea was floated between Mayweather and 20-year-old YouTuber “Money Kicks” until talks broke down.
But it has now been announced the unbeaten American will take to the ring, 700ft above sea level.
Mayweather, 45, is also no stranger to Moore, 42, who was coached and mentored by his uncle Roger.

The pair also shared several rounds of sparring in the famed Mayweather Boxing Club in Las Vegas.
Moore had an unbeaten record in his 19 bouts with a draw his only blemish, but has not fought since 2016.
Mayweather meanwhile officially retired with a perfect 50-0 record in 2017 after beating UFC superstar Conor McGregor, 33.
But he has twice returned since, in exhibitions against kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa, 23, and YouTuber Logan Paul, 26, as recently as June.
Mayweather’s spectacle bout with Paul – who weighed TWO STONE more – ended without a winner after no knockout was scored.

After negotiations with Money Kicks – real name Rashed Belhasa – fell through, SunSport revealed Mayweather still considered a comeback in Dubai.
And he will now co-promote his fight against Moore alongside FrontRow and ROQU Media.
It will headline the inaugural “The Global Titans Fight Series” – a global-boxing event staged “in the skies of Dubai”.
On the undercard, UFC legend Anderson Silva, 46, is set to face fellow ex-Brazilian MMA fighter Bruno Machado, 35.
And former two-weight world champion Badou Jack, 38, is also confirmed to feature on the bill.

And the 2019 Love Island star will enjoy a step up in competition against Poland’s Daniel Bocianski.
Bocianski, who stands 6ft 3in, has been beaten only once in his 11 fights but suffered the loss in his last bout.
It came against Patryk Szymanski, 28, in March 2021 in round five of a scheduled eight.
After Bocianski, 27, was stunned, Szymanski landed a right uppercut that left his countryman out of his feet and wobbling into the corner.

Fury, meanwhile, was last in the ring in August and beat Jake Paul’s sparring partner Anthony Taylor, 33, over four rounds.
It came on the YouTuber’s undercard and set up a celebrity grudge match with Paul, 25.
But Fury, 22, was forced to pull out of the December pay-per-view after suffering a broken rib in training.

He hopes to reschedule the fight but insisted Bocianski would be a tougher night’s work than 5-0 Paul, who has never fought a recognised boxer.
Fury told Queensberry Promotions: “This man I’m about to fight would iron Jake Paul out easy because this man has probably got a family to feed, this is his only way of making money, he probably needs to make the money.
“He’s gonna come in with killer ambition.”

ERROL SPENCE JR is suffering from PTSD after his horror car crash – and has revealed he was in another road smash just three months later. The American boxing star was involved in a high-speed accident in 2019 which saw his Ferrari flip multiple times.

Miraculously, not only did Spence survive but he resumed his boxing career a year later.
But the unbeaten Texan still bares the emotional scars of the crash and has opened up on experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder.
Spence, 32, said on The Good Fight with Kate Abdo: “When I was driving I would have like different flashes of a car running into me.
“Or I’d be at a red light and I’d just have flashes of cars hitting me and getting into car crashes all the time.

“PTSD is definitely a real thing because I was having flashes all the time about getting in accidents. I still have them sometimes when I’m driving.”

Spence said: “I actually got into another accident three months after my accident. Somebody hit me from behind.
“It shook me up a little bit, but it’s really hard to get to me. I’m always on an even keel. My insurance company kicked me out.
“I was in a G-Wagon, so they were like, ‘He messed up a Ferrari, now a G-Wagon 4×4.’
“They came out at like $600,000 in like five/six months. They paid me outright for both of the cars.”
Spence beat ex-champ Danny Garcia, 34, in his December 2020 comeback bout and secured a super-fight with Manny Pacquiao, 43.
But an eye injury in sparring saw him drop out and replaced by Yordenis Ugas, 35, who subsequently beat and retired PacMan.
It has set Spence up to defend his WBC and IBF titles in a unification with Ugas’ WBA version this Saturday in Dallas.

RYAN GARCIA believes his fight against anxiety and depression could have ended in a “trainwreck” if he had not seeked help.America’s 21-0 social media sensation will end a 15-month hiatus on Saturday against Emmanuel Tagoe.

He took the break to save his life when his battle against mental health problems started to look like the first fight he couldn’t win.
Since he climbed off the canvas to stop Luke Campbell in January 2021, Garcia has had professional help and changed from the Eddy Reynoso gym – which he shared with pound-for-pound king Canelo Alvarez – and teamed up with respected veteran Joe Goossen.
And he confirms that unless he had taken drastic measures to break the vicious circle he was facing, the next stop was a terrifying first loss.
“I couldn’t just keep on forcing myself to just get in the ring, get in the ring if I didn’t feel mentally right outside of the ring,” he said in a brave and emotional interview.

“I took that time and I feel amazing now, I really feel it helped me stop a trainwreck and that’s what’s important. 
“If you’re not there mentally bad things can happen in that ring.”
Before even landing a world title, the lightweight ace with the Hollywood looks and heavyweight hands had incredible fame – in the shape of almost 8million Instagram followers – that added pressure.

“I don’t know if all that stuff plays a part, the pressure of being a boxer/influencer, but all I know is I noticed a problem and I fixed it.
“It started with counselling. I went to see a therapist, I took the professional approach to it, making sure I got real professional help and then from there I just started understanding what anxiety really is – and depression too. 
“I just started talking to people and talking to people really helped me. It helped me understand what I was going through and understand that there’s a way out.

Goossen – a maverick coach famous for his love of double-denim outfits even in the corner of fights – is now the mentor in charge of Garcia’s career.
And the baby-faced fighter is surprised Anthony Joshua never auditioned the California coach when he toured the US looking for a new trainer, following his September loss to Oleksandr Usyk.

“No, really I have a connection with Joe from the amateurs when I was 17 and he was training me a little bit. 
“Joe is an old school guy and I feel like I am an old school soul when it comes to the game. We just have a good chemistry and I think that was why I picked him.
“Joe and AJ probably would have been a great fit. Joe can bring a lot out of you, a lot of grit. He is one of those old school trainers, like Cus D’Amato, just that rough type of person and for me I love that.”

Garcia’s hopes of a lightweight world title shot are on the backburner after undisputed champ George Kambosos accepted a June 5 clash with his King Ry’s famous 2-2 amateur rival Devin Haney.
That clash has a rematch clause and former four-belt king Vasiliy Lomachenko is first inline for a crack at his old crowns, once the Ukraine legend finishes bravely fighting Russian invaders in his besieged home.
But instead of getting down about the likely delay, Garcia is lining up a thriller with fellow KO artist Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis.
